Expérience négative: So disappointed in this clinic since they changed hands . After paying an exorbitant amount of money for a dental procedure. My cat was not the same. He has been shaking his head and just appears uncomfortable. After not one not two but three visits. They finally decided to swab him. Guess what they found? Yeast in his ears! After billing me on two separate occasions for three separate visits, before finally deciding to actually do a swab. I will be going to another clinic as my cat has not been the same. When I explained how upset I was that he has been suffering for so long. I was told that I should not feel bad because not even the vets were able to tell that he had an ear infection. Which makes sense because all they did was look in his ears. My cat is clearly definitely still suffering. But hopefully by taking him to another clinic, he will get treated properly

Expérience négative: I had a very poor experience with this clinic when I had to put my cat down. I do NOT reccomend this clinic at all. They lost my cat's ink paw print. I had asked to have it done 4 times during the visit, it was very important to me to have it. They dont have any protocols in place to avoid losing such an important piece of memory. Their solution was to offer a $100 refund, I find this borderline insulting after being charged around $1700 in less than 2 weeks for my cat by them . Very dissapointing. Do NOT reccomend their service. They also gave us the wrong color for the clay paw print. I would give zero stars if it was possible.

Expérience fantastique: We have had a good experience with each vet here, most recently Dr Simon Chateauneuf (we have seen Dr Anne Catherine and Dr Proulx before- all excellent)! We appreciate the realistic recommendations and appointment options for our 5 cats. They often see them together to make for less trips to the vet for us. Not all 5 cats are angels at the vet so THANK YOU to the front desk, techs, and veterinarians.

Expérience fantastique: Such a fantastic clinic! The staff are super accommodating and always responsive to any questions we have. Dr Simon Chateauneuf and Dr Poulin have both treated my dog Bowie. Being a Great Dane, he is a big dog with big health problems but both vets are extremely attentive and innovative with their techniques/approaches. Cannot say enough good things about this clinic.

I had called multiple clinics before and wasn't thrilled about paying the emergency DMV prices nor to take time away from bigger cases. The Animal Health Clinic was literally a life saver. We felt so welcome and cared for there. That's even if my dog was agressive during the exam and procedure, given we came in with an open wound. 4 staff came in to help keep my dog calm, which was impressive to see how they worked as a team. I felt in good hands and despite the bad circumstances that led us there, we left with ligther hearts. I would recommend them blindly. Thank you again from Cielo and us!

Expérience négative: Was there a few days ago with my 17 year old dog who has an ear infection they swabbed her ears, cleaned her ears and sent us home with an antibiotic for yeast. When I got to the front desk to pay they slapped me with a $315 dollar bill. I was in complete shock when I asked why so expensive the receptionist said the consult fees and medication, I have never paid this much for my dog who has recurring ear infections, needless to say I only went there because my vet was on vacation, I will never return there very money hungry

Expérience fantastique: Sorry, I should have left this comment three years ago, but I just created my first commenting account (because I encountered two incredibly mean Starbucks employees by the way, those girls always gave other dogs large pop cups, while they only gave Niuniu a bottle cap-sized pop cup. Always!). I'm Niuniu's mom. Niuniu's surgery (for a mast cell tumor) three years ago was actually successful, but we all know what a malignant tumor can mean. This time, we had to do a second surgery, which was also very successful. Everyone was very hardworking and friendly. The cost was $1,700, which I'm very satisfied with. I had originally planned to pay $4,000. Niuniu is doing well now. I just heard you called, and thank you so much for your concern. Guys, I want to say that the staff at this hospital are wonderful, but the doctors aren't perfect, they're not superhuman. As owners, for the sake of our pets' health, we should pay close attention to any changes in their bodies to prevent their condition from worsening. Of course, if the condition worsens, it will cost more effort and money. Below is a photo of Niuniu today. I have to complain again that my niece was treated kindly at another Starbucks and Niuniu also got a normal-sized pop cup.

Expérience fantastique: I wanted to take the time to leave a review for Dr. Simon Chateauneuf. He is the best vet that has ever treated my dog. He is hands on, kind, listens to all my concerns, proposes different options for treatment, and educates me. I feel at ease with Dr. Chateauneuf, I don’t feel rushed and I don’t just feel like a number. He genuinely cares and wants what’s best for my baby as well as what’s realistic within my means. I know that I can rely on him and he always follows up when he says he will. He is a true gem!

I was late for my appointment with a very sick cat, called them before the appointment to inform them that I would be late; no one answered and there was no option to leave a voicemail. I have a file with them since 2010. So they called me, I explained to them the situation and she said she would need to ask the vet because "after 15 minutes the vet has other patients." Apparently, the vet couldn't see me. I had to hang up the phone so I wouldn't cry. After 25 minutes I had to call them back because she didn't even have the decency to call ME back! Unbelievable. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS VET CLINIC as they lack basic human decency.

It felt rushed and impersonal, as if they just wanted to get through the appointment without really listening or offering thoughtful care. I left feeling frustrated and let down. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a vet who genuinely cares about dogs.

While one of their veterinarians is genuinely skilled and compassionate, the front desk staff is a different story. They are rude, incompetent, and seem more focused on their own agendas than on providing quality service. To make matters worse, they consistently overcharge for services and deny accountability when issues arise. It feels like they prioritize profit over pet care. The staff's "woke" attitudes only add to the frustration, highlighting a lack of professionalism that is unacceptable in a veterinary clinic. My family relied on this clinic for over 20 years before it was sold to a public company, and it’s disheartening to see such a decline. Stay far away—perhaps you’ll have a better experience, but eventually, their incompetence will catch up with you. Take the time to read their horrible reviews because a lot of people share my sentiment. As soon as you call them out, they deflect and make it about you because they don’t care about pets they care about $$$$$

Expérience négative: WILL NEVER RETURN HERE — ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I brought my dog to Vet et Nous due to a clear and concerning decline in his function. What did they do? Barely any evaluation, no thorough assessment, and the only “solution” I got was that he should lose weight & was given a calorie restriction. WEEKS LATER, my dog went completely blind. I was devastated. I called to try and get help — and the receptionists were unbelievably cold, and completely unprofessional. Zero compassion. I was told I’d have to pay full price again even though this was clearly a follow-up related to the same issue. When I pushed back, they told me to “take it up with management”. The vet didn’t even bother to call me back until FIVE DAYS LATER — by then it was too late. I rushed to Gilmour’s Vet across the street who IMMEDIATELY found that my dog had dangerously high blood pressure and needed medication. Why wasn’t this caught the first time? Vet et Nous failed my dog. They failed to investigate properly, failed to follow up, and failed to care. If they had taken my concerns seriously, my poor 8-year-old chihuahua might still have his vision today. I regret ever stepping foot in this clinic. If you truly care about your pet, go to Gilmour Vet instead. They were competent, fast, and actually gave a damn. This place is just a “business” that try to sell products. The atmosphere between the staff is also incredibly immature.

Expérience fantastique: Went in on mai 10 for my cat who had pyometra at age 2 almost 3 years old.The moment I called I felt the receptionist what kind and compassionate about my situation ,also it was my Lucky day because the veterinarian who does the surgeries was working that day.She operated my cat on her lunch hour which was extremely generous of her and she was also very compassionate and kind.I highly recommend this vet to whom ever is looking for a vet clinic who actually cares about humans as much as their animals.

They used scare tactics, pushing unnecessary exams, and even told me my cat might die without them. Dr. Simon Cahâteauneuf was condescending and pushy, way more like a salesman than a vet. Today, a genuine vet discovered it was just gas, and my cat recovered with basic nourishment and care. Don't fall for the positive reviews. Overpriced and unethical—avoid at all costs. Edit: Let’s be honest—their comment here is just damage control. They have my full contact details and still made zero effort to reach out directly or provide real contact info. Don’t be fooled by these empty, copy-paste replies.

They remember my dog has anxiety issues and called to remind me to give him his medication before the visit. Very respectful in terms of boundaries my dog needed and how to approach him. Here is my reason: Reception very rude and not empathetic Cheap and uncomfortable waiting room Unsanitary examination room High turnaround of staff, can never get the same vet. So basically I have elderly pet, we started visiting for a routinely monthly shot. During this last year they treated me like an inconvenience, very rude on the phone, could care less attitude and no empathy at all, you are just a transaction to them. They have a high rate of turn around staff, so you always need to start over and lately to advice have been faulty and wrong prescription have been paid for and applied. The waiting room is a joke, super small and uncomfortable, was better before. And the rooms are dirty. Also I get the same shot every month and price always change, rip off, I found cheaper alternative at other vets, so look out for that. Hope it helps make an informed decision , dont wait until you pet is to old and they dont care about you anymore when you need them the most.

Expérience fantastique: They have a new Veterinarian Dr. Simon Châteauneuf he really goes the extra mile! I really appreciate his honesty and care with me and my dog. He only recommended what my dog needed, doing a biopsy at my request and doing a blood test for anemia for no charge while doing the other blood tests that needed to be done anyways since I stopped protecting her from tick based illnesses a few years back. I will certainly bring in my cat to his service. I hope he stays here for awhile because I will ask for him when we come. True the new changes to the waiting room are not great but I guess they need to meet the volume of appointments so they probably did it for that reason but it is true there is not a lot of space to sit now especially when other dogs come in. One complaint the receptionist gave me a bit of a stress because I phoned to alert them I would be late and she said that if I was more than 15 minutes then I might lose my appointment. The appointment I had a week before this one though we did have to wait almost 30 minutes for him (it was during the holidays so I understand) but just want to say that reception could be a bit more kind. I am usually on time or early to all our appointments. But I still give 5 stars because I liked what I got two visits with Simon.

Expérience fantastique: My 3yr old dog and 8yr old cat are patients here. Dr. Châteauneuf is amazing and so kind, he doesn’t try to upsell you unnecessary procedures or meds. My 8yr old cat had to be neutered due to new behavioural issues, and he has a chronic illness, Dr. Châteauneuf called me and gave me options, one of which was going to a another Vet hospital in case of any complications, you can tell he really cares for his furry patients! Once my cat got the surgery Dr. Robinson Gave me a call and explained how everything went and what to expect she was on the phone with me for a good 15min she was so informative and I felt so at ease and because of my cats illness she went through extra measures to ensure his safety. They went through everything with me! I’m so confident that my cat was well looked after. They explained thoroughly the aftercare and answered all my questions. If I ever move out of the area I will continue to go to this clinic!

Expérience négative: Went over there yesterday for the basic vaccines of my two cats. First time at that clinic. I had an appointment at 11h. They made me wait half an hour in their inexistant waiting room composed of two 5$ cheap metal chairs hidden in a corner packed with merchandise. I felt so uncomfortable I left after 30 minutes not wanting to waste one more minute of my time over there and without a sign of the vet seeing me anytime soon despite the appointment. Not a nice way to make a good first impression. Very unprofessional.

I started to go there since at least 2 decades and spent thousands and thousands of dollars and they closed my file due to $62 dollars that they forgot to charge on my last paid big invoice. They sent me the link to pay the $62 but it did not work even i felt insulted by accusing me of some sort of lying. I offered to pay by Interac or a cheque but they declined so I offered to pay on my next visit as it takes me half an hour to get there. Last weekend I went there for my dog to take his allergy shot and same time of course I wanted to pay the famous $62 but they said no service and refused to treat my sick dog. I have the feeling this clinic was sold to new inexperienced people who are very greedy. Not the clinic I knew since 20 years. However my Veterinarian Dr Singerman has nothing to do with this review a very good Vet. Anyway I found another Vet close to my house and she is amazing I love her as she sincerely care for our pets with huge heart and not after money only. So long thank you so much for firing us and put the Animals as a shield or products and not as beings.

Expérience négative: I'm a newcomer to the area and have two cats, a girl and a boy. I urgently needed to get my female cat sterilized, so I called The Animal Health Veterinary Clinic (Vet Nous). They told me to bring her in for a checkup before scheduling the surgery. During my first visit, they created a file for my cat, and the doctor examined her. We then scheduled the surgery, and I was given an estimate of around $575 for the procedure. In addition, they handed me another bill for $162. I asked if this amount was part of the surgery bill, and the receptionist confirmed that it was, implying I would only need to pay the remaining balance later. However, the next day, I was surprised to learn that the $162 was not part of the surgery fee, and I had to pay the full amount for the procedure. The clinic made no effort to resolve the misunderstanding, and when I complained, they responded by saying, "You didn't ask, so it means you already knew," which I found to be an absurd response. As a new client, they should have clearly explained their protocol to me upfront, allowing me to make an informed decision. I felt cornered into going through with the procedure, especially since they had already given my cat medication to prepare her for surgery. While they did call me the next day to check on my cat, and thankfully, she had no issues, my personal experience was far from satisfactory. I believe they overcharged me. For example, they billed me $116 just for scheduling the surgery. I contacted other clinics, and some mentioned that, unless there are complications, the consultation fee is often included in the surgery cost, or they only charge a small consultation fee (around $55) because of potential wait times. Overall, while my cat received proper care, my experience with their pricing and communication left a lot to be desired.

Expérience positive: Used to be an awesome clinic before change of management, they used to be really awesome with reactive dogs especially. Now they are just average. Nothing bad to say, but nothing out of the ordinary

Every time I reached out for help, it felt like an imposition to them, as if they were doing me a favor by even considering fitting us into their schedule. The clinic seems more concerned with its bottom line than with the well-being of the animals. The staff consistently displayed a lack of empathy and genuine concern for my pet’s health. It was clear that their priority was money rather than compassionate care. On multiple occasions, I felt like my pet’s urgent needs were just an afterthought, and the lack of warmth from the staff made the experience even more frustrating. If you are looking for a vet that will build a long-term, caring relationship with you and your pet, I strongly advise against this place. Here, you will merely be a number, only valued if you can somehow fit into their schedule. There are many other clinics where your pet will receive the attention and compassion they truly deserve.

If my cat ends up dying because they refused to allow me to speak to a veterinarian that I know would have given me the medication, there will be hell to pay with this clinic and every single person who works in it. She truly is wonderful and makes you feel so comfortable especially in times of distress. Animal health clinic was first to get back to me after I left numerous messages around the city the night before during closed hours. The woman at the front desk was so comforting and empathetic and helpful. The team is knowledgeable and responsive. The quotes are clear and reasonable and despite her state she was in when I left, I could not have asked for better hands to leave her in. Expérience négative: We have been with this vet since we got our puppy and it was amazing with the first two vets, they were lovely ladies that took really good care of our puppy during his visits. HOWEVER, just this month, we took my dog (then puppy) for a checkup since he’s been sick. The vet that took us was a young man with brown hair and unfortunately, he wasn’t welcoming and he didn’t seem to have compassion for our dog. He seemed so bothered with the barking and the amount of times he rolled his eyes was ridiculous. He would make facial expressions that almost shames the pawrents. This is a dog that has been uncomfortable and sick and the last thing we want is someone that will make us feel worse than we already do. Just the whole attitude really bothered us. He also didn’t explain anything to us or ran through some thorough stuff, we had to ask and squeeze it out of him for him to tell us what to do and what not to do. On top of that, a vet tech complained about his loud bark too, saying it hurts her ears. I mean, if you work at a vet clinic that takes dogs, isn’t barking already expected? It’s not like he was barking the whole time. It’s like working in a daycare that hates the sound of crying children— it makes no sense. Very disappointed because last year everyone was very welcoming and very nice. I don’t know what happened and if the other 2 vets are still there. Anyway, we decided we should maybe look for another vet.

Expérience fantastique: Maybe I didn’t have the best experience with the young girls receptionists but I Had one of the best experience with the clinic and the service provided by the vets and technicians. My cat was in critical condition and the vets and the technicians did an amazing job. But Dre Geneviève Forté was the hero in all that. I do not think my cat would get better without her and the technicians who were helping Dre Geneviève Forté. Thank you for everything!

Expérience fantastique: I have nothing but high praise for this clinic. I had an emergency situation and when I called, the receptionist was kind and patient. I was able to see a vet that afternoon, and she was a wonderful and thorough in explaining what was going on. The staff was kind, knowledgeable and very empathetic to the stresses of being the owner of a sick pet. I highly recommend them.

Expérience fantastique: My dog needed emergency surgery and I called every single clinic in Montreal until I found this amazing clinic. They took us in first thing in the morning the next day (a Saturday!). Not only did they save Gerda's life, but the next day they called several times to make sure that she was okay and also that we were okay. The prices were reasonable (especially after the shock of the prices at the DMV!), they were not trying to play on emotions and scam, they are very honest and empathetic. They clearly love animals and genuinely care for them. Gerda isn't scared of the vet, and in fact, LOVES to go! They also were very very patient with us and all of our concerned calls (I get very paranoid). Dr. Poulin and the team are the best! Thank you so much<3

Expérience négative: Since I am unable to write a second review, I will need to change this text. about 3 months ago my puppy was neutered here at Vet et Nous, I held the vet who was doing his surgery in high esteem. Two weeks after his surgery I sent a picture of his scar, and there was a little corner of it that wasn't properly healing. The technician responded saying everything was normal and that it should sort it self out. Let me just stop here and say that there was NEVER any follow up on his operation, or on his scar not healing. About two weeks later I went to see my vet because my dog had red ears, and I was told he had allergies. The allergies took us by storm and I was swept up into crisis that I couldn't seem to get ahead of. My vet then prescribed apoquel for his symptoms despite the FDA and the label clearly stating this drug should not be used in puppies under 1 yr. I was furious that they had prescribed this drug, and did everything in my power not to give him any. However things got so bad, I mean he wasn't eating anymore, I eventually had little choice. I am thanking my lucky stars that I met a student nutritionist who told me this could actually be symptoms of a bacterial infection. So I made the clinic take us back to do a culture. They then told me that he didn't have a bacterial infection but still prescribed me a topical antibiotic. After running the 10 day antibiotic cycle, he is clear of allergies. It is potentially possible that he never had allergies to begin with, or they were exacerbated by the infection, however if this clinic had simply followed up on the operation my pup wouldn't have suffered so much and my pocket wouldn't have been drained. This is nothing if not clear negligence on the part of the animal health clinic. If you care about your pets, please find another clinic.

Expérience négative: This place is so hit or miss. They mis-diagnosed my dog and cost me around 1000$ (+) of un-necessary expenses. Sometimes the service is fantastic sometimes there’s no eye contact and they act like ur an inconvenience. I will continue to go there, however, cuz they have all my history and I believe they have the animals best interests at heart.

Expérience fantastique: I would like to say a massive thank you to for Dr. Poulin and the team. My dog Lala was stung by a bee at the park next to the clinic. She started showing signs of anaphylactic shock. We were rush to the clinic because it was close by. I was not sure if they can take us in but i took a chance. Kindly Dr. Poulin made a time for us, Lala was able to receive an emergency care. I am so grateful, this clinic saved her life. She is doing great today, Thank you again!

Expérience fantastique: I just came from visiting this clinic as my kitten had eaten something that led her to foam through her mouth! As you can imagine I was extremely stressed and worried about my kitty, so at first I passed on her own vet which is Gilmour clinic but unfortunately they were closed, then I went here and tough my behavior was not very good since I was freaked out about the situation, their staff treated very nice and professional ... their vet did a check-up for my kitty with no charge! I am very impressed by their excellent team! Shoutout to the nice lady on the front desk who spoke with me super nice and welcoming. Sorry if I was rude to you! God bless you all, and thanks.

Expérience négative: I’ve been a client of this clinic since Dr Gilmour opened it; the owner/management change has seen the quality of service has declined. Thankfully Dr Gilmour & Dr Seto have their own clinics in the area. Imagine being told to put your dog in the freezer if they die until an emergency appt is available?!!

Expérience fantastique: Hands down the best vet clinic on the Island of Montreal. Dr. Poulin is a " godsend" She so compassionate there is one word that comes to my mind. Phenomenal Veternairian & Phenomenal staff!

Expérience fantastique: What Dr. Poulin did to try to save our dying rat, Markie, is nothing short of a miracle. She successfully performed a massive double mammary tumor removal that no other surgeon was willing to attempt; the masses weighed 1/4 of Markie's body weight, and we were told nothing could be done. Unfortunately, Markie's tiny body was very tired, and we lost her shortly afterwards. It was a peaceful passing thanks to Dr. Poulin, Dr. Proulx, and the amazing team who went above and beyond to keep our baby comfortable. Thank you for fighting with us to save our perfect little Markie Cookie.

Expérience fantastique: 2 of my pets have been followed by the clinic. All the vets are compasionate, and know when to direct you to a specialist if needed be. They will present you with all your options and will rarely send your pet for unnecessary tests if the vets don't deem them necessary. Great team!

They got check up and vaccinations and spayed….. last week I made a call and ask the receptionist for an appointment for my girl, she got diarrhea , the secretary said there is no appointment available and will take my email address for sending me some vet’s clinics where available I did wait for days and never get anything from her ( I forgot to ask her name) I really like the Dr in this clinic but I feel bad when the secretary is quite arrogant

Expérience négative: Been going to this place since 2005. My dog got his puppy shots here in 2005 and also was put to rest here in 2016. I breed dogs and been bringing my puppies and my clients dogs here for years. Been doing shots, checkups, ultrasounds and everything else here. They pushed my healthy dog to do a 2000$+ cesarienne when she was perfectly healthy and had the litter naturally with no problems. My dogs grand kids and great grand kids were clients here. I was loyal client and happy with the service up until they changed management. This place is nothing but a money grab now. Their prices have gone up drastically and the services isn’t even comparable to what it was. They don’t care about the animals welfare, they care about the maximum amount of money they can get from you. One of my clients missed his puppy update shots by a day and they told him that he has to start the process all over so they can charge him again. They quoted us for prices and once we were there charged us double and was told to leave if not happy. We are done with them and I recommend anyone that has dogs to go elsewhere.

Expérience négative: I've been with Animal health clinic since the late 90's, and it used to be the best vet in MTL, when the clinic was managed by Dr Gilmore. NOT anymore!!! Ever since the clinic became affiliated with "Vet et Nous", they are no longer the same caring local vet they used to be. Last year, for dental cleaning (tartar removal) they wanted to charge $1000-1500 for my 13 lbs dachshund. Outrageous!! Meanwhile, the Veterinaire Villeray-Papineau charged $600 for the same service, including blood test! Today, I called the Animal health clinic to renew this year's heartworm meds, and I was asked to bring my dog for a blood test. It used to be every 2 years for the blood test if the dog hasn't skipped the med a year. Animal health clinic team! Check your records before you disclose false information to your patients! And check the market price as your services are over-priced! Enough is enough. I'm switching vet for good! Response to below reply (March 16, 2023: 9:45am): Thank you for your response. Family name "Cho", dog name "Dooly", please look up for my record. FYI, my dog received the Lyme disease renewal vaccine in 2022, which is given every 3 years. The whole purpose of this vaccine is in fact to protect my dog from contracting the disease if ever he is bitten. So your statement of requesting an annual blood test to check if the dog has the Lyme disease before the treatment is irrelevant!

My dog is VERY anxious/reactive and they did everything they could to make sure he was safe and comfortable. Not to mention they’re so knowledgable and explained everything to me clearly. Expérience fantastique: I have been to the clinic three times now and every time the service has been great. I took my kitty to have her eye checked, because it looked irritated. Long story short. Doctor Andrea did a full examination and made some recommendations re. blood test to check her kidneys, eye drops, a gel for constipation, shifting to senior food. She explained every single issue clearly and I agreed and followed all of her recommendations, including blood test which I decided to get done right away, since we were already there. The bill came to just over $400 (reasonable) for full examination, prescription, blood test, and a happy healthy kitty. On a side note, staff and clients seem all very chill, so there is a nice mood in the place. One leaves content. P.D. Expérience fantastique: Excellent and positive experience! Monday morning I called for an appointment for our chihuahua who wasn’t feeling well, and was given one in the afternoon, which was really appreciated. Every single person at the clinic is so incredibly friendly, helpful, reassuring, and professional. Thanks very much everyone - you were all so nice and patient with our little chihuahua! He is feeling much better :) Animal Health Clinic is highly recommended!

Expérience négative: Given the historically relatively good service I've had from this clinic in the past, it's a shame I should be leaving only two stars. My cat's health has been steadily declining over the past year. He was diagnosed with acute kidney dysfunction somewhat recently and he's now at the end of the road. Understandably, AHC requires a medical exam before they can euthanize, but they won't accept proof of his condition from another clinic. Feels inappropriate and insensitive to me, but mostly very much a money grab.

Expérience fantastique: Third visit to this vet now between my two dogs. The staff are friendly and the vets are really great and take the time to answer questions. Always a good sign when the staff wants to play with your dog as much as you do. As for pricing, it very reasonable. Not sure why but I always get the impression its going to cost a lot more than what they actually charge me. I guess I am used to other vet places overcharging me. I'm very happy with this place, and I certainly wont change spots and I really do recommend it.

Expérience fantastique: This vet clinic is probably one of the nicest and most compassionate in all Montreal. I’m sure many pet owners can agree with me when I say that finding affordable and quality veterinary care can be a frustrating experience. Many times, it feels like you are getting ripped off. This isn’t the situation here. After my husband and I found our little 4lb Maltese lethargic, vomiting, and with diarrhea in the middle of the night, we knew that we had to do something. Ending up at the emergency 24hr vet clinic, we already knew they would probably try to squeeze out every nickel and dime we owned. We just underestimated that they would do so in the fashion they did. After discovering our fur baby princess had pyometra they gave us an astounding $8K quote which we knew was completely ridiculous. We settled on paying $1500 for an IV to “stabilize” her for the night. This is until we could find a normal hours vet in the morning that wouldn’t be trying to SO grossly overcharge us. Thankfully, that is when we found THIS AMAZING gem of a clinic. You feel that they actually care about animals and saving lives, not just increasing their bank accounts. They tell you your options straight forward, professionally, which makes you feel like you are making the right decision for your pet.

Expérience fantastique: This is my new favourite veterinary clinic. This weekend (thanksgiving weekend) my dog desperately needed emergency surgery. After being quoted $8000 at the DMV and calling numerous other vets of which none would perform surgery due to the holiday, finally Dr. Poulin was kind enough to come in to do the surgery and quoted me a beyond fair price. I am forever grateful to Dr. Poulin and her amazing team!

Expérience négative: It used to be a very good clinic led by people that had compassion for both animals and their owners. Then the leadership changed. Last year in August, when my poor old dog (17years old) had an infection, the clinic could find an appointment only in a month's time, explaining that everyone was on vacation. One year later, in September, again the earliest appointment is available only in a month. The receptionist explained that they did not provide emergency services. Apparently, if your pet is not well, they will not help. I am wondering what their main occupation was. Vaccination certificates? Expensive surgeries?

Expérience fantastique: This place is wonderful, the staff are so friendly and eager to help you. The vet took her time to answer all my questions and I didn't feel rushed as many places make you feel like your in and out in the quickest amount of time as possible, not this place. She took her time, checked my Lena carefully, gave her lots of pets and made sure she was comfortable and taken care of This is my Lena's new vet clinic. :)

Expérience négative: First, the good. The staff were friendly and kind. The clinic is very clean and uses all available space well. The bad. The endless wait. I went in at 9am, and it was late afternoon by the time they were done. I get that it wasn't time sensitive (my cat had an abscess on her tail), but it took a couple hours for her to be seen by a vet student, who took her into the back. Then several hours waiting, with no updates. Around 1 or 2pm, finally asked the receptionist because I was worried, and found out my cat still hadn't been seen by the vet. Considering it cost me 450$ by the end, I would expect them to have more staff.

It's rarely for a fun matter, but we are always extremely well received and the admin staff is very welcoming, professional, understanding and genuinely nice. The Vet Techs are knowledgeable, loving and sincerely care for the animal's wellbeing. The Vets are compassionate, thoughtful and resourceful. Whenever we visit, we feel seen, heard and very secure in their care. Having a sick pet is gutwrenching and the helplessness we may feel subsides as soon as we step into the clinic. I cannot thank the team enough for their incredible support, every single time over the years.

Expérience fantastique: I had a little interaction with the staff and they were helpful, my little angel was sick, had a bad case of diarrhea that would not stop during the weekend, on a Sunday, not many options were available to us. although they did not have any openings, but that did not stopped them providing us some helpful tips and some supplements to help ease the situation, It was much appreciated. Her vet saw her on Monday morning and gave her some antibiotic and other medication and she is back to being a happy puppy.
