Fantastic experience: I absoluetly adore Dr. Jason Gerena and his team at Clark Animal Hospital. He has been my vet for my shih tzu for many years and always has the best interest of your pets health, first and foremost. I was l thinking of surgery to remove some cysts for my dog and I recieved a quote from him and had decided to get a second quote from another vet, just to see if they were going to be at the same cost. I went to a vet in the north west part of the city and my experience with them was absoluetly horrible. I have never been more pressured into doing bloodwork from this vet bwfore surgery. So I did get it done at this other vet and afterward recieved a bill for almost $380.00, just for the bloodwork! and they had never given me a second quote for the removal of the cysts. All they wanted to do next was urine analysis.. Ummm, nope. My bad. I will never go anywhere else for my dogs treatment other than Dr. Jason Gerena and his team from Clark Animal Hospital. If you are looking for a vet who is compassionate and who really cares about your pet and his/her well being, please go to Dr. Jason Gerena and his team there. They are the best in the city.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to the area and was searching for a great vet—and I'm happy to say the reviews I read were absolutely spot on. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and truly cares about the animals they treat. They took incredible care of my Golden Retriever and were informative and supportive every step of the way. I really appreciated how they took the time to explain everything clearly and never made me feel rushed. Plus, their pricing is very reasonable. I'm so glad to have found such a wonderful veterinary clinic! Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Clark Animal Hospital just hired a new vet who isn’t listed on their website yet — but if you care about your pets and want quality care, I would strongly recommend avoiding her and this clinic altogether. We brought our dog in for a routine visit and to treat an ear infection. He was in pain and understandably having a hard time, which led to him being muzzled — something that had never been necessary before. Instead of patience or compassion, we were met with condescending remarks and were even told that he was a “bad dog.” No animal should be labeled that way in a veterinary clinic, especially when they’re clearly just anxious and in discomfort. The vet showed little understanding or empathy, not just toward our dog, but also toward my mom and sister, who were treated dismissively. Overall, the experience was upsetting and unprofessional. We will be switching clinics and have advised friends and family to do the same.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful first experience here at Clark Animal Hospital. Our 3 year old border collie is usually reactive to new people and Dr. Vanderwoude was amazing and helped our dog feel super comfortable. The receptionist were also super friendly. We are very pleased with our first experience!

Fantastic experience: We recently made the difficult decision to put our elderly cat down, due to illness. Dr. Cross and her staff were very caring and supportive to us, during our tremendously difficult time. Their gentle care and approach with euthanasia and giving us as much time as we needed to cuddle and say goodbye meant so much to us, as grieving pet parents. Their compassion in our aftercare was wonderful and although nothing can bring our fur baby back, we felt comfort in knowing the staff and doctors truly care.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this animal hospital enough. They are so caring, it's like having a vet as a neighbor. They take their time with the animals and care so deeply for them. This treatment is so appreciated!

Fantastic experience: Had are little cat Spooky in for yearly vaccination. Definitely not her favorite place to be lol. The Doctor and staff made her feel at home. Hats off to all the team members. Highly recommended by are family.

Fantastic experience: Took such great care of Max he won't mind going back! Great vets and great people. So, just had to update this! My guy is a 16 year old, orange Maine Coon, pretty laid back. He's been suffering from arthritis the last few months and always seems to sniff out any additives in his food and simply walks away with a disdainful sneer! Dumb ole dad finally got around to calling the professionals for some liquid anti-inflammatories, and the animal docs at Clark's told me about Solensia, a monthly injection for felines with arthritis......booked me in the next day (yesterday) and today, holy moly, the difference is quite simply unbelievable! Where, on Thursday, Max would sit with his right leg splayed forward, today it's now tucked under his body like normal. No more drunken sailor gait when he's climbing stairs or difficulty jumping on the table. Mind you, it's not gonna shave years off his age, and he's certainly way past his "best before" date, but, if I were a "cat whisperer" I'd be hearing "hey dad, thank all the fantastic, caring people at the Clark Animal Hospital for me...no more pain! See y'all next month

Fantastic experience: I brought my cat here, the first time taking her to the vet in 5 years. Sheila the vet was very helpful and did not make me feel bad that it had been that long. My cat needs a dental procedure and I am very comfortable leaving her in their hands. She answered all my questions and was very reassuring. Even after answering all my questions she ask if we have more, I did not feel rushed through the appointment. I very highly recommend Clark animal hospital.

Fantastic experience: Great animal hospital. All staff are so friendly , helpful and caring. Their love for your pet’s wellbeing is genuine. My dog Minnie, is sensitive to a number of unknowns. The vet gave her a very thorough examination and provided diagnosis as well as a number of options for going forward. The complete examination took quite some time and we were never rushed to leave. I wish people would get the same experience when they go to their doctors.

Fantastic experience: Clark animal hospital has been my Home vet for ~5 years now for 2 dogs. A German Shepherd and a Shepherd/Collie/Lab mix. They have always taken great care of both since they were puppies. My shepherd does not like it there, however the staff greet him with smiles and treats, and do their best to make the visit as smooth and painless as possible. I really liked that they had some availability on Saturday mornings Pre-Covid. It would be nice to see that return, however I know the hard working staff at Clark need a break too!

Fantastic experience: Great fast help with my Ryder bear. Hew 12.5 years old and whenever I call they have him in in a snap of the finger. Very friendly and kind staff. I highly recommend Clark Animal Hospital!

Negative experience: Recently I called to make an appointment for our sick 11 week old puppy,he had diarrhea and vomiting and we suspected he was dehydrated. He had been in the week before getting his shots etc, so it wasn’t that we were new clients ( in fact had taken our dogs to this vet for years) Their response was we are to busy take him somewhere else. Who does that!! I worked in dentistry for 40 years and never did we tun away a patient in need, even if it meant missing lunch or staying late. We are so disappointed with this clinic and have now found a wonderful and caring vet that took our puppy right away and in helping him feel better. After talking to a family member they were told the same thing by Clark last week, they have since switched after many years of taking there pets to Clark Animal hospital. What has changed there??

Positive experience: My experience with them has been the epitome of proffesional ism. They have always been caring and compassionate towards both of the dogs I have owned. As of this writing, 01/03/22 they were not accepting any new clients, but I would recommend them if things ever return to normal.

Positive experience: Favorite thing about this place is they don't pet shame you or make you feel like less of owner if you don't buy the most expensive everything for your pet. Plus I've never had to wait longer then 5 min past the scheduled appointment time- meaning there not over booking trying to cram in every animal they can for money.

Not difficult to get an appointment or transfer pet info from another vet or emergency clinic. They always have special pet diet food available.
