Negative experience: I brought my cat in during an emergency after he suffered a seizure. Dr. Bath told me he was certain my cat had parvo and advised me to prepare for the worst. I was given estimated treatment costs off the top of his head and told to leave my cat for a minimum of three days while a parvo test would be sent out and that he would put my cat on IV care and treated for Parvo. This didn’t sit right with me, especially since no immediate test was offered. Trusting my instincts, I sought a second opinion right away. The next clinic performed a parvo test from my car, and within 15 minutes I was told the result was negative. After an X-ray, they determined my cat simply needed an enema — not end-of-life care. Dr.Bath had also sent home with prescriptions for five different medications. I chose not to give these to my cat, and the veterinarian at the clinic where I sought a second opinion later told me those medications were not necessary. I’m sharing this because that experience was frightening and overwhelming, and I’m grateful I sought another opinion. I personally will never go back. The amount of stories that are public about this clinic is very upsetting.

Negative experience: If I could give a zero star review I would... The only thing this clinic cares about is MONEY!!! No care to saving an animals life, knowing the animal can be saved... but have no problem following you around with their pos terminal. Not at all listening to what is going on with the sick animal, just want to know when they will be paid... I brought my cat in Reggie, 8 years old... was having breathing complications, after spending $800 at the animal hospital, took her to this clinic because she needed help quickly... but because I couldn't pay right that second, even saying keep her over night for two days, that they will get their money... the only help they would give her wad death... The oxygen they were giving her was a mask floating in her face, dogs barking around her scaring her, would not help her eat or drink... basically told me she is suffering I needed to pay $475+ now keep her alive or put her down... To put her down, there was no problems paying later but to keep her alive was a big problem. I was told $475, I put down $50... just went to pickup her ashes and pay the bill and it jumped to $523. For what... doing nothing!!! I was also to I was going to get her paw print and they didn't do them... Horrible place!!! No care at all...

Positive experience: My old girl cat wasn't pooping very much and was getting very skinny. He wanted to keep her overnight for a few nights. I agreed to 3 days. But I took her home after that with Meds and some new food. His services seem overpriced for what they are. Please consider other places for vet care.

Negative experience: DO NOT RECCOMEND GOING HERE! other vets at least had the decency to explain that they cannot provide services on hamsters. I’d reccomend if you do go here to verify all the services you will be getting from them. They provide my hamster a 5 minute service for $130 to weight it, check its heartbeat and look at its teeth. I recommend euthanizing or checking if other clinics can order the necessities to help you pet properly and with the best knowledge. Dr Bath is uneducated when it comes to small animals and the research I got online was more helpful.

Negative experience: Overcharged me. I didn't notice until I got home. $75 + Tax on bill was correctly $83.25 but they charged me $88.25. Also, the lady was pushy trying to get me to do a Google review right there in the clinic and was being a bit abrupt it made me feel uneasy Update Told me they were sending me an e-transfer almost a week ago but still nothing. Even though it's only $5.00 it is still the principle that matters. This experience has enforced my decision to not returning to this Vet.

Fantastic experience: They got us in very quickly to vaccinate our new puppy. The following week we had some concerns about her and they fit us in within a couple hours. Dr. Bath was extremely friendly and explained everything to us and answered all of our questions with a new puppy.

Negative experience: Please please do your due diligence and Google this vet and this clinic to read the negative reviews. They closed down their old Facebook page because of all of the negative reviews so please review both pages. And the "Revoke Dr. Baths Veterinary License" Facebook page. YES, there is actually a Facebook page with a thousand members that is dedicated to this.

Fantastic experience: Good doctor. Helping my cat right the way when i need to check.

Negative experience: First, I wasn’t aware that they use non-dissolvable sutures for spaying, while almost all other clinics use dissolvable ones. We paid $600 for the spay plus $200 for blood tests and were told we could pick her up around 4-5pm after surgery. However, the doctor later said they had an emergency and had to delay her surgery, so pickup would be around 7-8pm. They never informed us about the delay, we only found out when we called at 5pm to confirm pickup and the receptionist then mentioned the surgery had been postponed. I asked if they had already given her anaesthesia and the receptionist didn’t know how to respond. I told her that if they hadn’t, I would prefer to pick her up, take her home and reschedule the procedure, since by then she had been without food for 20 hours. The doctor later called and confirmed that she had been put under anaesthesia and that we could pick her up at 7pm. For suture removal, I booked another vet since I don’t want to return to this clinic again.

Negative experience: They made me pay 200 just to touch the cats leg after I refused to pay (because I cannot afford) the 970 dollar price just for an xray of a leg. I would have had to still spent more after to actually fix it. This place is a scam. Go elsewhere. Usually examinations are between 80-100 and x rays are between 150‐300. I live at a dog kennel and a farm with horses. I would know.

Fantastic experience: When my cat jumped into my arms and I found he had a deep cut underneath his left paw and was losing blood fast, the NAH was the only clinic that took the emergency seriously. They were compassionate, kind to my cat, and followed up frequently. The vet phoned to follow up a week later, which I did not expect. Today, I brought my cat “underfoot” in for his annual shots and it was a great experience. My cat gets me up in the morning and makes sure I get to bed at night and keeps me company during the workday. It is a very uncomplicated relationship and I am ferociously concerned about his well-being. Vets are in short supply and good vets are even harder to find. This clinic is a gem. If I have not found these people, I would fly underfoot out with me to visit the vet used to have in Vancouver. Gems ... Wonderful people and wonderful professionals.

Negative experience: I had a deeply disappointing experience at this veterinary clinic. The veterinarian performed an anal gland expression with only one hand while distracted on the phone, which seemed unprofessional and led to further complications for my dog. Without explanation, he applied an unknown body spray that worsened the issue. Instead of offering effective solutions, he repeatedly prescribed various medications and procedures that felt more like an attempt to increase costs rather than genuinely help my pet. Additionally, new clients should be aware of an unexpected $200 ‘initial checkup’ fee, which was not disclosed beforehand. Despite this charge, no thorough examination or assessment was conducted. The overall lack of professionalism and care was concerning. I strongly recommend researching alternative veterinary clinics for the well-being of your pet.

Fantastic experience: I was in a desperate situation late evening with my sick 12 year old cat. Dr.Bath did not hesitate to agree meeting me at his office after hours to examine my girl. He was patient, kind and very respectful. He did not leave any information out in telling me her prognosis and he was gentle dealing with financial concerns. Dr.Bath is a genuine man. He was so kind and warm hearted throughout the visit and gave clear instructions on what to do. Thank you so much for your services.

Positive experience: I’ve brought my Chihuahua and my Cane Corso mix breed dog here for their shots/checkups and both the front desk help and Dr are very caring, understanding and informative. My Corso mix female went here for her spay and the care was fantastic, the removal of sutures was also very smooth and she healed perfectly. Again, during the removal of the sutures they were both very caring and patient as my Corso can be very vocal and has anxiety in these types of situations so she can be hard to deal with. I appreciate the care they provide. Slightly on the pricier side compared to other places but worth it! :)

Fantastic experience: By far the best bet I have chose to take care of my puppy! I took her in last night while she was almost on her death bed! I was so upset I got there and he got me right in! Made me feel like he was there to help and not just take my money. He let me talk and tell the whole story! He looked at her and thought it was something toxic! Sure enough my dog ate a very poisonous plant(we had no idea they were poisonous) after a night Roxxi staying there I picked her up the next day with her being almost back to normal! Amazing people! He cares about not only the animals but the animals family. He supported me with many updates as he knew I was very upset! Will defiantly be back!! He’s AMAZING

Both Dr Bath and their staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They followed up with me the following day and made sure Boo was okay. I had just gotten Hypatia my beloved Kitten at 11 Weeks old and within 4 days I noticed during the time leading up to the 15th of October that she had gotten ill and was not eating or drinking water or milk. When I took her to two Veterinarians they said she was fine. It was Dr. Bath that recommended a blood test to verify the results, in fact it was an elevated white blood cell count and she, Hypatia was fighting off a viral infection. As Dr. Bath advised me on what the options where we decided to do everything we could to get Hypatia back to good health. Dr. Bath prescribed and administered a slow acting injection depot to fight off the viral infection and gave me medications to administer to my Hypatia at home. Had I not went to Dr Bath and had Hypatia seen by him, My Hypatia probably would not have survived. Special thanks to the team at Northgate Animal Hospital for taking such good care of my Hypatia over the years. I highly recommend Dr. Bath and his expertise.

Negative experience: I recently took my cat to this clinic for a health certificate for airplane travel, and it was a terrible experience. When I arrived, another client was throwing ticks from his infested dog out the clinic door. My indoor cat, who I had just bathed, was tick-free. However, during our visit, the vet did basic examination, only checking my cat's ears and heart rate. As I was putting him back to his box, I found a tick on my cat's fur, my cat is pure white and I could recognize dark insect right away on his back! The vet refused to take responsibility, claiming my indoor cat got the tick outside, and suggested an additional $65 for anti-tick medication. I declined, and ended up paying $145 for the visit and certificate, which was far too expensive. I took a photo of the tick in this hospital as proof. I called another vet advised me to buy a $9.99 anti-tick shampoo from Walmart before reaching home, and after washing my cat at home, he was tick-free. This clinic has serious hygiene issues and unreasonable prices. You bring in a healthy pet and leave with problems!! I don't recommend this place at all!!

Negative experience: So ridiculous. One star is too much. If I have choice, I prefer 0 star. Anything here needs money. The printed record costs 27 bucks. And they refuse to transfer the animals’ records to the new owner even if they got the permission from the previous owner. Awful place. If you have a lot of money, then come here, otherwise don’t.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bath was a huge help the last couple of times my cat Kia was really ill. He was personable, compassionate and sat down with me to go over her test results and what options were available to me depending on what i was ready to spend $$. He ended up giving her some injections and antibiotics, she bounced back to health a few days after seeing him. The last time she was ill I called the clinic frantically, seeking treatment asap. Dr. Bath right away agreed t a home visit, and he arrived at my place within an hour. Amazing. Also the receptionist at the clinic I found to be very friendly and respectful, enjoyed chatting with her. Also my parents went to.Dr Bath when they had to have their dog put down...my mom couldn't say enough good things about him and the clinic. They loved that dog more than anything in the world, so their standards are pretty high when it comes to treatment.

Fantastic experience: Had an as good as possible experience from this vet clinic. Ozzy was 6 months old when he had to go here. The vet was so sympathetic and caring of this little guy who’s liver and kidneys were failing for an unknown reason. A little over a week he was able to come back healthy to his family. So blessed. Fantastic experience: I am so happy with Dr. Bath. Our baby girl was so matted and he took her in immediately. She is quite anxious and terrified of the carrier. She tried the groomer twice and would not let the groomer touch her. Dr. Bath did an excellent job shaving her and the matting is gone. Dr. Bath explained everything he would do beforehand, which I appreciated.

I called them with an urgent concern about my dog as I was unable to get an appointment with my dogs usual Vet and they were able to see her promptly. Dr. Bath made sure to do a thorough work up and explain everything thoroughly. My dog ended up staying one night with them and then came home the next day with a treatment plan. Dr. Bath checked in on the weekend with me to see how things were going with my Dog and we had a follow up appointment the next week. Overall great experience. Fantastic experience: Excellent care for my recently acquired mature female rat terrier. I had no past history for “Marley” but my assumption that she was spayed proved quite incorrect!!!!! Dr. Bath admitted Marley for surgery within 2 days and my problems with a house pet in heat are successfully resolved. In the 1970s I did this kind of work my self and it was a treat to receive quick courteous and efficient service from the other side of the counter . Thanks to you both Del Pearson DVM
