Negative experience: Honeslt no start whatsoever went there for my first puppy vets said I needed three shots in a span of 2-3 weeks, paid a lot and found out thank God after transferring that south sask is better since I only need 2 because the vet did a full check up on my puppy so they saved me money :) never recommending this place again its a money grab forsure

Negative experience: A horrible clinic, took my cat who was having seizures here once for staff to hand me a thermometer and tell me to take her temperature. Did a bunch of actually overpriced tests to tell us the results have no precedent apparently and that the best we can do is put her down because the vets allegedly don't know how to read an animal patients chart because even tho they could say that levels were excessive they had no answer. A lazy staff of disrespectful people. Avoid if possible, your animal deserves better.

Negative experience: Awful experience would not recommend we had to put our dog down, which is already Hard enough in itself, but they had no compassion and while we were mid saying goodbye, they brought in the payment machine not even two minutes after my dog passed away

Fantastic experience: Love this place, I went here to neuter my cat and they were so nice. Its affordable too which is a huge plus. The staff are nice and the decor inside is honestly really cute. My kitten stress pooped in his crate and they even cleaned that up for me. 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic experience: I ended up calling them when my other vet was unhelpful when I was trying to see if I needed to bring my cat in now or if it could wait. It couldn’t wait so I’m very happy I called here and they got me in right away. The doctors, the receptionists , the clients, everyone is absolutely amazing . They offered constant help when needed by phone call and visits. Excellent pricing and care for your animals. Highly recommend. I switched over 5 min after walking in the door . My cat got her care, her meds, her check up and she has a clean bill of health!! Thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with this clinic. My kitty was very sick, not eating or drinking and had a fever on a Saturday. They got her in Saturday morning, and I saw a vet within a couple hours of calling. The vet was super kind and empathetic, despite how anxious I was about my sick kitty. I called the next day (Sunday) as I hadn't seen improvements in my kitty and they got a vet on the phone with me who gave me recommendations on how to proceed and signs to watch for. Gladly, my kitty is feeling better now (Monday). I appreciated being able to take my kitty in on a Saturday last minute and to speak to a vet on a Sunday, as well as all the help and advice they gave me to get my kitty feeling healthier.

Fantastic experience: I brought my senior dog to Red Barn on Sask Drive for an emergency visit after she fell down the stairs. The visit was only $65 (not including meds), and even though we had to wait at home for a bit to keep her comfortable, the total wait was only about two hours — which is amazing for an emergency. The staff were absolutely wonderful. They were so understanding, gentle, and genuinely caring with my dog. They were also incredibly accommodating with her mobility issues, even putting down carpet runners because she’s terrified of slippery floors due to her bad hips and knees. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this clinic. They treated us with so much compassion during a stressful moment. I would definitely recommend checking them out!

Fantastic experience: This clinic is amazing! Our dog accidentally swallowed a large piece of his chew stick, and our regular vet didn’t accept walk-ins. They recommended this clinic, and we were able to see a vet right away. Not only did they take care of the emergency, but they also helped with his ongoing skin problem. The staff and vets were all very kind and professional, the waiting time was short, and the prices were much more reasonable than other places. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Dr. SAWA is amazing. All of the staff are so kind.And caring, you never have to wait more than a few minutes to pay your bill. I love the Walk in clinic model. If I know I need to go to the vet, I just have to get in really early in the morning and I get in first thing. I just sit in my car with my dog and they will call me when to come in. I love this model.

Fantastic experience: I had a very negative experience a few years ago at another Vet clinic in Regina which left me with a some PTSD going back. Very hesitant in trusting another vet ever since. Animal Clinic Of Regina has given me new hope and I feel I can trust again. They are always warm and welcoming when you come in the front doors and they are knowledgeable and tentative with my Sophie. They truly care about our animals and it shows when you are in the room talking about your animals. I was an emotional wreck with my Sophie and they have always guided me through the process and given me all the options available. They truly care about our pets. It's good to have a place I can trust my animals will be taken care of. I cannot say enough positive things about Animal Clinic of Regina so I will simply say Thank-you!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to the animal clinic numerous times now for my cat Marigold and yesterday she had to get all of her teeth removed. I drive over three hours to come to this vet because it is the best treatment I’ve ever received and also the best price. They are always helpful and reassuring and put your pets needs first. They are there to help, during your visit and after if you have questions. Truly outstanding work from a clinic that worries about the animal, not the money. I couldn’t rave about this clinic more than I already do. Thank you guy’s for your amazing work

Negative experience: My review use to be 5 but after this last visit had to lower it. Took my pet and was told to leave cause they didn't have a exotic vet that day. Front staff were rude about it with what seemed like little to no care

Fantastic experience: We took our cat (Sir Winston) to Animal Clinic of Regina on Tuesday morning. Thank you to Dr. Durling for taking such wonderful compassionate care of Winston. She was so kind and patient with him and us too. He is feeling much better and is on the mend. Also thanks to the staff for being most helpful and friendly.

Negative experience: Went to this clinic 9 days ago for my cat who was peeing out blood, got checked out and left with a payment plan and medication for him, told his bladder was blocked and that he would need a week plus to release the fluids and crystals with the help of the medication and diet change, and so for the next couple of days he wasnt eating i had to force feed his medication and food over 4 days but turned out to be 9 days. I phoned 4 days later because i was worried he wasn’t getting any better as he was still not eating only drinking water, they told me to “keep at it” “keep force feeding him he’ll be better soon” to me a 4.5 star 500 rating close to me animal clinic i trusted the words the lady said on the phone. on the 9th day My buddy wasn’t looking so good in the after noon when i woke up and so i phoned them up and said there was something wrong with him and he looked way worse than he did yesterday, before the lady said anything she told me that before anything payment would have to be made and i had told the clinic that payment would be made when my buddy was better and that all is good, and so they referred me to south sask for him and where i found out his bladder was ruptured and he was in critical state and that he was suffering. My buddy wasnt feeling good at all the whole time they told me he would get better and he never did never was. I left the clinic with one less buddy in my life and i’m saddened at how i trusted the words from the clinic here and thinking back how they asked about money before referring me to help. Gave us false information about our buddy’s health 3/23/2025 ️

Fantastic experience: I had to put down my 2 year old dog in a emergent time frame do to his occurrence of seizures, they got me in asap, sedated him (which was a blessing and so much more humane + some vets don't do ) let us take our time to say good bye. I owe the staff here I huge thank you. Kind, compassionate and caring staff. You are the gold standard of vets.

Not only are they trustworthy, and exceptionally professional, their level of empathy they have for their patients and the families that come in is next to none. Positive experience: We had a little bit of an emergency with our Lab. They took us in right away. They did a nice job of assessing the issues and gave us solid answers to help solve the problems with our Lab. We and our Lab were well taken care of quickly, efficiently in the staff was wonderfully nice!

Negative experience: Almost no words to describe the doctors we dealt with. Absurdly terrible with 0 understanding of what our pet needed to recover. Don’t take any animals you care about here for anything you think might be serious. They just want your money

Updating to 5 stars ********************** Previous review around the start of this year: We were at this clinic for our 1st visit a month ago. The vet that treated our pet was amazing. We are new to Canada and we wanted to get our pet a general checkup and the vet was absolutely amazing in answering all our questions and ensuring she checked our dog well. The only concern I see for new comers is the lady at the reception who was being very rude to us for no reason from the time we arrived and would go talk to all the dogs and evidently ignoring to acknowledge our pet when he was trying to converse with her. We were asked to get to the clinic by 1.30pm and got to meet the vet only around 3.30pm, when i asked this lady at the reception how much longer it might take just so we could inform at work, she responded so rudely. It is so important to have mature people in customer service that directly impacts the reputation of a place.

Negative experience: I had gone here as my regular vet was unavailable. I was told that they triage patients and you are seen based on severity of your animal. Upon arrival, I provided all the symptoms that my dog was experiencing. He quit eating nearly 38hrs before, stopped drinking the night before (almost 12hrs), and labored breathing, unable to move his back end and that he could not control his bowels as though he was paralyzed... I was advised that there was 4 people ahead of me. I thought the process would go quite quickly as the state of my dog was quite severe. I had waited for 40 minutes and 7 people were called ahead of me. During that time my dog had peed on me. I advised I was going to the car to clean him up, at that point the receptionist told me I could take him out to "walk around" and he could do his thing. At that point again, I advised he was unable to walk and that was a large reason as to why I was there. The receptionist seemed shocked, as though I had never said it in the first place. I was taken straight into a room to be seen. So clearly I was not listened to in the first place.. Someone had come in and assessed my dog. At that time it was recommended to do x-rays and bloodwork and given an estimate of almost $800. I was told approximately 1 hour and I would be called and could come back for my boy. I had left and 1.5 hours later had not heard anything yet so I called. Which I was told " I was just about to call you". I was advised that my dog had kidney stones and that I could take him to Saskatoon for further testing as he seemed to be in some pain in his back but could be managed. The vet told me over the phone that they would be sending me home with some antibiotics and pain relief and to bring him back in about 5 days. I went to pick him up and I was handed the meds and my dog at the reception desk. Not taken into a room to discuss any of the results and told "5 days and he should be on the mend" and off I was sent. Not once did they seem concerned about anything else going on, just kidney stones. I had taken my dog home and gave his meds as instructed. That night my dog began gasping for air and was struggling more, I could not get him into the 24hr vet either. First thing in the morning I got into my regular vet, I was not even fully in the door and they knew it was bad. And at that time we said goodbye to my boy, my best friend. Because of you, my boy suffered when he shouldn't have. You gave faith that he would be okay, that he would get better. That it was just a kidney stone. Nearly $1000 later, 24 more hours of suffering, all because of you. This experience was horrible. I will never bring another animal here and I will strongly advise anyone to avoid this clinic. We are super disappointed and dissatisfied with how things went. This Vet clinic were just a money grab and they take pride in making animals suffer and just taking peoples money with no remorse

Fantastic experience: Last summer 2023, while on holiday in Regina visiting family, I took my little buddy, a 12 year old Chihuahua named Sebastian, who seemed under the weather, to Animal Clinic. He had to have 13 teeth removed. Doctor Jinx, his brilliant vet from puppyhood did an outstanding job. And free of charge, she looked at his brother Sidney’s teeth and said he seemed fine. After retiring in 2014, I moved to Victoria, and so from time time to time, I have to take my pups to a local vet. Today, I took Sidney for a check up. Total estimated charges for dental work: between $2217.60 and $3763.20. For one dog. Perhaps 6 teeth a problem. Please be grateful for the Animal Clinic of Regina. You are so lucky.

The support is greatly appreciated. — Two years after my first review and we are still coming here, now with our new puppy. Dr. Sawa and the entire team are friendly and considerate. It can be tricky to get in but they work hard to accommodate your needs and to make it easy. Thanks for being our vet clinic.

Negative experience: The whole system of not having appointments, scrambling to call in the morning, waiting on hold for 25 minutes to only get cut off so you have to start all over again in the que. Then going on a daily list means you are stuck waiting for their call all day to say you can come in now. very frustrating. They will tell you not to just show up in the morning but so many people do that if you don’t you don’t know you will get in. Totally inconsiderate of anyone else’s time. you can’t plan anything else as you wait your turn. You’ve waited all day for their call that it’s your turn only to get there and have people just walk in and ask for an appointment and they get accommodated. Sign on door says walk ins welcome so their system of calling for an appointment makes absolutely no sense. All that and I still waited 45 minutes when I got there only to have the Vet pushed the needle straight through my cat’s skin for rabies shot and sprayed me with it. It had to be done again. Today the frustrating system finally out weighed everything else and this is the last time for me.

Fantastic experience: We visited the Animal Clinic today for the first time because our dog stopped eating 2 days ago and we suspected she had a dental infection. When we walked in 5 minutes after opening, the waiting room was full and the phone was ringing off the hook. The 2 receptionists displayed incredible kindness and professionalism despite how busy it was. We ended up getting in to see a vet within 90 minutes. The vet was also very helpful and compassionate. They did a physical exam, blood tests, an ultrasound, gave us the lab results, administered medication and IV fluids all within an hour. For how busy they were, we still experienced such thorough and polite service. I would highly recommend this clinic. Best to call in advance so you know how busy they are and they'll give you a wait time and a return call when you can come in.

Fantastic experience: Amazing customer service from everyone in the office. We're very understanding of my dogs emergency intestinal blockage and was able to get him in right away to clear it up. Also made me aware of any possibilities. Was given a quote for the low end and high end of these possibilities from a few different place. They had one of the best quotes and I walked out only paying 1/3 of what was expected. Had as many happy tears as I had worried tears. 100% would recommend. Felt like we were really taken care of. Fantastic experience: I visited this clinic which was highly recommended by a friend. I suspected my cat had an UTI and they were able to get me in right away. They did some testing and found out my cat has diabetes. I was in complete shock and was in a huge distress. English is also not my first language and all the staff (the vet, the technician, and the front desk) were super sweet and comforting. They explained things over and over until I understood everything. They did not judge and they were very patient with me and my cat. They even called me back to answer all the questions I had about the cat food. I will never take my cats anywhere else now. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to a couple different vets & none of them made me feel super comfortable, but Animal Clinic of Regina is the place to go. I have super high anxiety when it comes to my pet, & they made me feel so comfortable during a hard time. You can tell they really do care about your pets, unlike a lot of other places I’ve been in Regina. Receptionists & vets are BOTH super caring. These people truly do care & I’ll be coming here from now on

Negative experience: Showed at before 8am like I was told to get in. Was the 7th person in line when the doors opened. Booked my dog in and waited….. and waited….. and waited 3 hours we waited until finally we had to leave. My dog is a 180lb Irish wolf hound. She has crazy anxiety and getting her to the vet is often difficult. Being there and ready at 8am being told someone will be right with you only to have nothing happen is a complete waste of time. Don’t pride yourself as a walk in clinic if you can’t actually accommodate walk ins. Having people check in at 8am and wait until 2 or 3 in the afternoon is t walk in that just first come first serve appointments. Give people and time and they can come back at that time. Don’t waste the entire morning for them. Needless to say we are changing vets for both our dogs.

Negative experience: A bit pissed off with this place! Tell me my dog needs ear drops. Thats fine. They say its only going to be $25. Perfect. But then they pulled a quick 1 and charge me well over $100. Are they that desperate they have to screw people over and lie to clients? Must be. Never taking my dogs there again. I will find a much better veteranarian to care for my dogs. Instead of lying to me and bleed me dry.

Negative experience: Made me and my dogs wait in our car for 4.5hours with an appointment. My dogs really had to see a vet and kept being told it was going to be a half hour each time. This was in the summer so we were boiling in the vehicle. They all have an attitude and will add $70 probiotics to the bill without even asking. It's not a good clinic keep looking.

Positive experience: Very friendly staff. Easy to get appointments within 2 weeks (which is good in this city) but always a wait when entering as pick up and drop off times are all at once instead of staggered a bit. One of the more expensive clinics but the money may be worth not waiting the extra 4-6 weeks at other vets depending on the issue /ailment. Overall good experience here for sure. Other than the pricing, nothing negative.

Fantastic experience: I had to say goodbye to my beloved Pebbles of 19 years a few weeks ago. I had never been around for a pet euthanasia before. I was thankful to have my step dad with me as well as the very understanding veterinarian and assistant. It was not as painful for me to watch as I thought it would be. It was actually rather peaceful/graceful how quickly Pebbles pain was taken away. Pebbles had a great life with me. When I adopted her at 7 she came to me in very rough shape, but I brought her back to life, she became my snuggle buddy up until her very last breath. It still doesn't feel real, and I catch myself as I'm doing housework or random things in the house freaking out because I left Pebbles on the couch and she's not barking for her momma. Then I remember she's gone. The staff are amazing here at this clinic. They have always been very understanding everytime we brought in our senior pets to be euthanized. They feel our pain and sometimes cry with us. Thank you for her paw prints, and the thoughtful card it made me tear up. Thank you for taking care of my little princess.

Fantastic experience: it was good a bit rushed they had emergency surgeries to do today but we were seen in time and the doc was good and knowledgeable !

Positive experience: I needed my golden retriever examined and they were very friendly to me and compassionate. The vet did a thorough exam and was great. She took to time to explain everything going on with my dog. My dog is already looking better on the medicine and cream she was prescribed. Thank you for taking such great care of my sweet girl.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing group! I called in when my kitty was sick and they got him in same day. They were very quick with procedures and very understanding with my various emotions! The team was professional, kind and compassionate which you are able to tell through how well they all do their job! They were very open about cost and even provided me alternative options if I needed a costly procedure. The receptionists are genuine and talk to you like a person. The doctors are so great with handling unwell animals. Dr Jinks looked after us with so much kindness and was able to assist my kitty back to health with her team of doctors. I can never thank the team enough for what they have done for me!

Fantastic experience: I’d like to give a huge shout out to Dr.Durling who preformed my fur-babies surgery yesterday, as well as Dr.Dhakal. Dr.Durling did an amazing job, despite the challenge of my pup being in her heat cycle. I was rest assured my puppy did fantastic and she explained every thing they did. Dr.Dhakel explained the process through and through before the surgery, and even did an ultra-sound without me even asking as my baby has been experiencing some issues. This was done out of the kindness in Dr.Dhakel’s heart. I could truly see the care, and hard work these doctors put into my fur baby and I am so happy to be a continuing client of this clinic. I would also like to give 2 more shout outs to 2 of the receptionist’s who treat me and my puppy like gold. When I picked up my girl yesterday, the clinic was packed and Kim was mending the front desk ALONE like an absolute champion that she is. Kim is always kind and i can always see how much she cares for our animals and us as people. I had questions and Kim was more than happy to bring the vet out to explain the clarity I needed. The next receptionist I’d like to give a shout out to, I don’t know her name since it’s not on the website yet. She has curly shorter hair, and always a smile on her face. When i call, she is BEYOND helpful and reassuring. When i bring my puppy in, she is so welcoming and kind. I honestly look forward to seeing her, as we simply need more people like her in this world. This receptionist was more than happy to wash my towel after I threw it out due to my puppy having a big accident. She explains things on another level, and takes responsibility and accountability for mistakes that are made by other people! These ladies are just wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Brought our dog to the vet. Got in right away, no waiting and very friendly staff. Vet was awesome and their pricing was the best in the entire city. We have been to every single vet in Regina and this one was by far the best we have experienced. Didn't feel ripped off like other vets we have experienced. Highly recommend!!

Negative experience: Got called my dog was next went there and then they said it was still gonna be a while ended up being over 2 more hours. They tell me to come back at 9am the next day and that I’ll be able to get in quick then. They tell me 6 hours. Not sure what the point of that is. Waste of gas and time.

Negative experience: Not a great experience. We called and they told us what time to bring our dog. We brought her at that time and they said they would call. They called and told us to bring her. When we brought her the staff had an argument with each other and they sent us away. They told us to bring her at 9 am Saturday so we did and they said the wait would be 6 hours. Unless your dog gets hit by a car we wouldn't recommend this place. It doesn't fit the walk in idea, maybe animal ER.

Fantastic experience: Called before lunch on a Sunday and they were able to get me in to look at my dog. All the staff was very friendly and was a lot less expensive then I thought it was going to be.

Fantastic experience: People at the front were so helpful and accommodating, the vet was kind and got my kitten looked at and treated efficiently. best experience I have ever had at a vet!!!

Fantastic experience: The staff were fantastic. Very helpful and comforting. They were able to refer us to UofS small animal hospital for surgery not available in Regina. Dr Sawa prepared our dog for the trip and made sure he was comfortable. Dr Sawa was kind enough to follow up and ask how the surgery went and will do follow up.

Fantastic experience: I went to this vet 20+ years ago! Still the best!While visiting family from out of Province, my pup had a medical issue, she was seen and treated right away. Very professional excellent service. I appreciate the care provided, and options explained. I wish this vet clinic was closer to me.

Positive experience: Firstly the staffs are great and friendly. Although we have to wait for sometime outside the clinic in our vehicle for our turn the staffs are there to informs us that our pooch is the next to be attended to. Secondly the vets are professional and knowledgeable in treating our pooch. Very much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: This walk in clinic is located only 2 km from me so I could walk the dog there. My GSD was quite comfortable with the veterinarian and did not put up a fuss when he was checked over and given his shots.

Fantastic experience: I brought our little dog to be neutered as everywhere else was a long wait. They were spectacular. They answered all my questions, did a great job at the proceedure, were patient with my phone calls and offered for me to bring him back for a check if needed. Would recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: Had to have my 16 year old cat euthanized to end his suffering. 2 weeks later I still don't have his ashes back. They claim they didn't fill out the paperwork and his remains are still sitting in their freezer. I'd give 0 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: After losing one our fubabies at the beginning of March, our other furbaby started to do downhill. We decided to look for a new vet. Dr. Sawa is amazing. She was able to explain to us what was happening and gave us room to accept what was best for our furbaby, called to check on him while we were coming to a decision. Her care and concern are truly admirable qualities we look for in a vet.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place. They are very friendly and great with my aging dog. An added bonus is that they aren't super expensive either which is great. And they are open weekends.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! Only had today to get my dog to a vet before babysitters are out of town and I wouldn’t be able to take my dog. I love their walk in system. I called in the morning and they put me on the list for the day. They called me when it was time to start making my way there. Short wait to get in, short wait for medication and invoice. Really nice vet with follow up plan. Really nice receptionist as well! Will be back for sure! Highly recommend. Thank you!
