Fantastic experience: An affordable, welcoming vet! I have been going to Dr. Rayala since 2014 when I started fostering and then eventually adopted my own dogs and became a client myself. Dr. Rayala and staff is always very caring, understanding, and never pushes any extras on you. They’re also affordable considering the costs of vets.

Fantastic experience: The staff is incredibly kind, compassionate and helpful - they look for solutions that fit within budgets if your finances are tight and the doctor is great at explaining the situation in a crisis. While I would rather have not needed to come in to access crisis care, I am immensely grateful to have this team in my corner in such a situation. (Also they have a habit of spoiling my dog with treats during routine checkups which he has no problem with.)

I highly recommend them if you are looking for paperwork done for going abroad. I had a complicated case, but Kailey and her team have managed my case very efficiently.

Negative experience: My service animal needed to be seen, they seen him. Later we got approved for "PAWS" and all Oxford had to do was send paws an invoice so paws could cover the bill. Oxford is refusing to send the invoice and we paid it out of pocket, thank you Oxford for caring about the animals and only caring about the money.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time here. They got me in the same day as I called. Just staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The veterinarian gave me three options as well as the prices. He was incredibly kind. Highly recommend this vet

Negative experience: Loved this vet for years they were good with my pets but after calling today to have my mom's cat put down to end his suffering I was told that you can no longer do payment plans as she's a senior and doesn't have much money on her rate now I've done payments with my pets in the past so this is heart breaking because now her poor little boy has to suffer will never bring my pets to this vet again after this experience

Negative experience: TLDR: I'm not sure if the vet at this place gets commissions for the emergency room of London, but instead of actually diagnosing the issue or treating my cat like a living creature, he kept just putting my cat on pain meds and sending him to the emergency room. Lazy, unprofessional, and terribly dismissive experience from the head vet of the clinic. Horrible experience here. We came in with our cat for a diagnosis, and the vet treated my cat like he wasn't even apart of our family. He was very rough with him the whole time, and kept telling us we had to pay more and more for him to actually diagnose what was wrong - which he was incorrect about every time. It ended up requiring multiple visits to the emergency room to have our cat's bladder drained, which ended up aggravating the problem more. When we visited the vet for the last time, he was very dismissive and said to just keep taking him to the emergency room. When we explained to him that it was only costing us more and more money, despite our cat not seemingly getting better, he said NO WHERE ELSE IN LONDON would be able to help. We called around for 5 minutes and found a vet clinic in London willing to take our little man in, and put him on a full diagnosis and treatment plan. Would never visit again.

It was recommended to me, and I am so happy to have found this vet clinic and especially Dr. Rayala. Not so easy getting in and out of the PKG lot thanks to a very un-neighbourly dentist, Matthew D. Morrison at, what he calls, Oxford Surgery Centre, and his ridiculous gated parking lot.

Fantastic experience: This place so warm and welcoming even on short notice and didn't treat my pocket bully like she was an evil hell dog some places I found treated her differently cause of the breed she was but not here they were confident when they approached not showing any fear which not only made me feel at ease but my female pocket bully didn't have to feel so guarded even though she was pregnant and their prices are not outrageous affordable I can honestly say the at this place is in this line of work for the animals and not just for the money I highly recommend this place for your animal care needs.

Negative experience: Horrible horrible clinic I called into the clinic back in February bc my dog was very very sick and they refused to book him for an appointment the receptionist Kaylee said she googled his symptoms and he is just depressed and to give him time and to stop worrying it’s bc I had a baby …. My dog was dying I called back the next day and again they refused and gave no help that same day my dog died (he had just turned 1 and I had just given birth) the emergency vet said that he was very very sick and that he could have been saved had Oxford medical done their job and saw him. I’m disgusted that they would allow an uneducated receptionist who is not a vet tech or doctor to diagnose over the phone and when I called the vet to talk to the owner or doctor he quite literally told me that there was no record of me ever calling yet I have proof and recordings of both phone calls. I do not recommend using this clinic unless you don’t care about your pet and want the absolute lowest quality of care.

I’m very grateful for their compassion and kindness… the veterinarians and techs were always able and willing to answer questions, explain issues, etc.

Your vet techs and administrative staff are so friendly and gentle, the veterinarian took the time to explain my dogs needs clearly and was happy to answer questions. Most of all, I feel like I paid a fair price for the care and was treated with respect as a customer when being offered care options. My dog's previous vet would waffle when advising us on care plans and I ended up spending a lot of money to cover every possible contingency. Thank you for being frank about my dog's care needs and outlining the reasoning behind your care plans and diagnosis. We really really appreciate it and you have made loyal clients out of us! (two years later) We brought our dog back for a persistent limp and again, stellar service. I particularly appreciate the care that my dog was treated with. Her sore leg was assessed gently and with gentleness. I particularly appreciate that the vet compared our dog's x-rays with those of dogs with clear clinical diagnoses as it help me feel confident in the choices that he suggested and that I had to make. I felt that I actually understood what he basing his approach on which I greatly appreciated. Additionally, the vet technicians and secretary were empathic, treated my dog as their own, and were genuinely interested in hearing about her wellbeing. The clinic is also extremely clean and well-organzied. THANK YOU FOR CARING FOR MY DOG! WE WILL BE BACK AND WE CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH WE APPRECIATE THE CARE THAT YOU HAVE PROVIDED HER!

Fantastic experience: By far the best veterinarian clinic. Not only were we taken back right away but the care my dog received was absolutely wonderful. And reasonably-priced. Our old vet was Neighborhood Vet and the care my dog received there was nothing in comparison to Oxford Animal Hospital. I highly recommend this veterinarian clinic.

Negative experience: THIS IS COMMON! READ OTHER REVIEWS, WISH I HAD KNOWN BEFORE COMING HERE! Secretaries were rude and talked down to you when you asked BEFORE you go in what the expenses that would be charged at the appointment. The first Secretary decided to raise her voice at me continue to interrupt me when I had a question that had nothing to do with what she was talking about, she talked to me like somebody who wasn't working and had absolutely no respect for me, so I called the next day to explain to the next secretary and as I'm asking what these expenses are for since they are not very reasonably priced she decides to be rude also and say good luck finding anywhere else with prices cheaper than this which 100% there are. Ontop of being overpriced they don't seem to care about the animals health nor the owners feelings on matters. I wouldn't bring my kids to a doctor like this Taking both my dogs out of this vet and back to the ones they originally came from as this was for an emergency, should have gone somewhere else for the time being. Do not recommend!

Negative experience: We arrived at Oxford Animal hospital to have our beloved cat put down. Upon our arrival, the receptionist stated "please take a seat, it will be a bit of a wait" we sat and waited for 20 mins. It was a busy time for the clinic and dogs were coming and going. Our cat has intense anxiety and fear and we knew this was causing distress. I asked the vet tech walking by how long the wait would be. This is when they informed us we had missed our appt 2 hours prior. She was very defensive, and abrasive in her communication. My friend (who's cat it is) went to the front desk and said "I am so sorry, I thought the appt was for this time, not that time." And the receptionist just said "okay.." Then we continued to reschedule the appt. I was absolutely disgusted that they would speak to us in such a way during such a difficult time. In addition to this, prior to booking the appt it was advised to us to surrender our fur baby to the Humane Society because they would do the ($8000) surgery and rehome him. I found that to be insane since our cat was terribly traumatized prior to rescue and we could never put him through that distress again. It took nearly year just to get him comfortable enough to be pet by humans. Every time we take him to the vet is a hard time for him. And he had been in so much pain for so long. We had brought our cat to this doctor a year ago and he stated "he is a healthy cat! No problems" 1 year later he needs a full tooth extraction. With no tests done. We took the cat to another vet for a second opinion (mind you, our cat was so scared of his face being touched we never got to see his teeth first hand) the second vet showed us how far progressed his teeth have become (the worst that dental vet had ever seen) and he ran tests to discover our cat had FIV (cats HIV) There was no guarantee he would heal and fight any infections following surgery. At the appointment to put our beloved baby to sleep the vet was cold and disconnected. He did not say much. The receptionist did not greet us or speak to us at all. The only good part of the experience (aside from the peaceful environment that WE created for our fur baby) was the vet tech Kayleigh. She was the only person that was kind and compassionate towards us during such a hard and difficult time. I will never go back to this animal hospital

Fantastic experience: I just recently switched to Oxford Animal Hospital. I've gone in 3 times now. The doctor is amazing. He's honest and upfront. They also seem to be honest with their pricing. I also must say EVERY staff member I have met there has been very friendly. I plan on visiting in the new year and I was extremely relieved that they were honest and actually told me the price in advance of what I'd like done. Great experiences so far!

Fantastic experience: My dog and I had our first visit today and it was a great experience! I had been feeling nervous as our visit at another vet in town went quite poorly, and they exceeded expectations. Waiting room was quiet and clean, receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable of pricing, vet staff was friendly and made me feel no pressure whatsoever to get extra procedures done. My dogs vaccine was done quickly and he was given plenty of treats by staff before and after. Thank you to the team here!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent, expedient care for my dog, Snickers. She was in a lot of pain and they got her in right away. Their prices are reasonable. Their vet tech specializes in physio for dogs with hip dysplasia and she spent a lot of time with us at the appointment. Dr. V Rao Rayala is very thorough and the plan of care is within my tight budget. I'm thankful my dog is doing so good!

Fantastic experience: When we adopted our husky the breeder used this vet so we continued to. She's now 5 and we brought our older husky here too. They don’t try to upsell things their priority is caring for your animal companion. I really like that.

His prices are fair too, and he tells you how much procedures will cost beforehand. My cat passed yesterday in the waiting room and they were understanding and comforting. Fantastic experience: Probably the best vet office I've been to in town. They make a big deal of seeing my dog, and he loves going there, if only because they have good treats for him.

Positive experience: Dr. Rayala and the girls are amazing, he is knowledgable, fast, and efficient and can always fit us in when we have concerns. Him and his girls get 5 stars all day long. However- the lady vet who fills in when he is off(can't remember her name) is horribly rude and arrogant when we brought our rescue boy in for an antibiotic shot as he has herpes(had URI-out of our control when hes on lysine etc since in our care.) She had the nerve to assume i didnt vaccinate my boy and make rude remarks-when hes UTD on everything since he's been ours. We spend alot of money on our cats at this clinic and that almost made me switch. BUT at the end of the day it's just a substituted vet, knowledge was fine- got the job done. If you want a 5 star experiance every time please make sure your seeing Dr. Rayala and not the sub vet. This clinic truly cares about the animals well being and makes it possible for owners to be the best they can for their pets.

Beside the fact that Bonga looks forward to his visits with Dr. R and all the knowledgeable staff here, the part that I appreciate the most about this veterinary clinic is the fact that if there is a health issue with your pet, you are presented with all the options, including an honest and up-front explanation of the costs involved. There is never any attempt to make you feel guilty nor to pressure you into spending more money. I have had this experience at other vet offices, but never here. Overall, Dr. R is so knowledgeable and compassionate, the atmosphere is cheerful and and very positive for both animal and human visitors. I can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I recently took my puppy to Oxford Animal Hospital in London Ontario for all three sets of shots, and I couldn't be happier with the service we received. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the visitation process hassle-free. We had no trouble getting our puppy all three sets of shots, and the staff made sure that both we and our puppy felt comfortable throughout the process. Oxford Animal Hospital offers great prices on their services, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly veterinary clinic

Fantastic experience: So glad for this incredible place, with such a caring vet and wonderful team. Our dog tore his nail at the base today and although I was initially calling for flea and tick medication, this actually happened while I was on the phone with them. They were able to give me an appointment with the vet in the next couple of hours, which we really appreciated and they gave me some first aid information to help stop the bleeding while we waited. When we got there, the vet, who is always so kind, professional and efficient, assessed the injury and told us that unfortunately our dog needed to be sedated to remove the nail properly. He educated us about the injury and explained what needed to be done. He then provided us with a quote, and told us about the anesthesia he needed to use. We appreciated his thoroughness and left our boy in his capable hands. When we returned for him, we received pain meds, antibiotics and the team even crafted a little bootie for our boy to wear over his bandage, to keep it dry, out of an IV bag and some gauze! So kind and thoughtful of them!! The bill was cheaper than we’d expected and the costs were more than reasonable! We are so impressed with the care here and so glad they were so willing to help us. They genuinely care about animals, as can be seen, not only by the kindness they show and the way they don’t overcharge, but by how accommodating they are! I’d give them 10 stars, if I could!!

Fantastic experience: I have been with this vet since 2018 with cat and dog and I have literally never had a bad experience. They have even got me in twice for emergencies, where I couldn't get into the emergency vet. The vet is amazing, always tells me what's going on clearly, tells me what is and isn't necessary. The admin staff are so kind, answer any and all questions I have and always help me out. Definitely reccomend this vet!

Negative experience: Reception doesnt not seem very professional - I had an appt for 430 today, called the # to be let in, was asked to hold - ok sure, no problem. After 5 mins on hold, I was disconnected. I called back & got asked to hold once again. There was no one in the clinic office & receptionist was not on the phone (can see in the window) & yet after almost 20mins of "holding" & waiting, we are now late for our appointment so I gave up & walked away. No point calling & calling to be told to hold for no apparent reason. Was looking for a new vet, clearly this is not the 1.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very kind and professional. The vet was great with our Siamese cat, he was very calm and gentle and the cat responded in kind. It was a great checkup and 3 year vaccine shot. I believe they are still accepting new patients. Note: the parking lot can be tricky to turn into off of Oxford. Easier if you are heading West on Oxford to make the turn.

Fantastic experience: I switched vets after almost 27yrs. Wonderful staff. The vet is 100% real with you about realities with your pet. My dog had a chronic sinus infection that my previous vet couldn't get a handle on. This clinic renewed my antibiotics several times without seeing my dog because they knew his condition had become chronic and he told me even if they scope the dog, they could never do surgery if there was a polyp or anything because he's 10 and he would probably die. He's finally infection-free after almost a year I love this place!!!

Fantastic experience: K so I've been to many vets in life already living different towns and many pets etc... this vet is HANDS DOWN the best I've ever been to! Right from the first phone call the girls who work there are amazing... such sweethearts... the veterinarian is very kind and knowledgeable and cares about your pet not the money first! And the prices!!!!! Omggg a vet down the road for JUST blood work alone was over double for my check up and blood work at this place! HIGHLY recommended 10 out of 10 for everything!!! Great job!! Thank you for being an amazing team!

Fantastic experience: Our dogs just love the team here! They are so kind, get you in promptly when you have an issue and always take the time to explain and answer questions. Highly recommend!!!!

Negative experience: Parking impossible to get in and out of. Great availability if your having an emergency. However expensive.

Fantastic experience: Dr Rayala and his team have always been great for the last three years I have being taking my dog there. Straight forward honest advice that is never about the "up sell".

Fantastic experience: Prices are great, they are friendly always. Never had anything bad happen. I feel they genuinely love and care for animals, unlike some other vets I've had. They have been dealing with one of my 3 dogs regularly since she has a difficult case of allergies and they have been nothing short of amazing. They always get me into an appointment within a few days of my call again unlike other vets which are booked months in advance. I applaud them ♥️
