Expérience fantastique: Annual checkup for Rudy and Rusty including vaccinations. Dr Charlotte Myles was ver4y personable, loved the dogs and obviously her work, was very clear on any issues and had lots of time for questions. Very good vet visit.

Expérience fantastique: Very kind and thoughtful. Especially when i emphasize my financial issues and my inability to pay for all of the exams the doctor would have done(and other vets might have insisted on, or not help at all) While I was trying to "explain myself" as to why it was so many days since my dog was showing symptoms(no $) the staff was very empathetic and I could tell they wanted to make sure i didn't feel bad(which was obvious that I did) They were very kind and gentle to my boy which I know made things way less stressful for him. I'm really hoping the antibiotics do their job and I won't be needing another check up.. but if I do I will 100% be coming back here

Expérience négative: Happy to take your money for basic appointments but will not make room for last minute emergencies with pets that have been with them for 6+ years (multiple) and will just send you to a different animal hospital. No point in using them as a regular vet

Expérience fantastique: Staff were very accommodating getting my cat in to see a vet. Very pleasant and took the time to listen and take down all my concerns and issues. The visit was seemless, front desk staff very friendly, vet tech so comforting with my boy to not make him anxious. The vet was very thorough and knowledgeable. Was given options which was refreshing and a relief to feel I was part of the decision making. So grateful.

Expérience positive: Vet tech Bethany and Dr. Meher are great! Excellent service and attention to detail. But Nepean Animal Hospital could really benefit from better organization and staff scheduling. We have had so many pre-booked appointments rescheduled and several delays in appointments due to no vets being available or insufficient staffing. It seems like they're working on it though!

Expérience fantastique: So incredibly thankful for the staff and their kindness today. We needed an appointment to say goodbye to our hamster, Bean. He’d just needed help crossing the rainbow bridge. We arrived for our appointment and we soon realized Bean had passed on the 15min drive over. All staff were incredibly kind and compassionate, vet checked him over to be sure he was gone and staff even managed to get little ink prints of Beans toes.. When leaving, we were so ready to pay for their time with being charged an appointment fee, something.. They said ‘no charge’. I’m so so SO thankful for your kindness. I know this isnt an easy job, but you were so kind given the circumstances.. I can’t thank you enough.

Expérience négative: I would not recommend this vet for surgery-related services. We brought our dog in for a check-up due to some concerns, but were referred to a "specialist" because they said they couldn’t help directly. The specialist quoted us $8,000–$10,000 for the surgery, as well as a fairly high check-up price. After visiting two other clinics, we learned that the procedure didn’t require a specialist at all and received much more reasonable quotes. Based on this experience, I would advise others to seek second opinions before committing to any recommended referrals.

Expérience fantastique: Dr. Robert Ostrowski is hands down the best veterinarian in Ottawa! There’s truly no one like him. His diagnostic skills are unmatched, and he’s also an exceptional surgeon. He helped us immensely with our previous cat and successfully performed surgery on our Husky. Dr. Ostrowski is not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly professional and compassionate. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the animals and their owners. We’re so grateful for everything he’s done for our pets.

Expérience négative: Today one of the vets called animal control services on me for neglect.. My cat had a tail injury either by pulling himself out somewhere or animal fight. The treatment was miscommunicated and I dont know how they expected me to change my cat bandage every two days when it took 2 professional plus me so 3 ppl and a cone around his head to help out. Some of the treatment wasn't written anywhere so i missed couple important treatments info that was only verbally discussed with me including thw bandage frenquecy change and that put my cat in more danger..I am not a professional in animal care and the fact that im there already and spending money is obviously not someone who is neglecting their pet but more of being innexperienced.. it is already a very hard situation and to have animal control being called on you is pure evil I will never return over there. Their fees for ampuation is $6000.. It seems like they assumed I waited because of only the money but i moslty waited because I thought the follow up was in case i couldnt change the bandage around the time of removal and check up /follow up.. and that amputation was last resort based off that appointement. I overestimated the service..The vet told me we could try to keep on with the anti biotics and bandage to see if his tail could heal but that she strongly recommends amputation i didnt know it was a definite decision and thats why i waited till my next appointment to see what they were going to say as I understood than ..While they were finishing the bandage I found another clinic today that will do it for $1700-$2500. They told me the amputation needs to happen immidiately and they were like ok so are we booking for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday ? Unless they wanted to pay for it themselves or lower their cost to help out they have no right to judge ppl.I dont know how many times I kept repeating to them that I dont have 6k right now and i will certainly not have it by Monday unless they write me a check and I need a bit of time to look for a solution by either calling different clinics with lower cost or funding etc.. I almost snap cause that lack of empathy and weird behaviour. My cat was a bit warm and the vet assistant tried to questionned that too i guess to add to the list of "negligence" but he had no fever mind you its 33 degree outside like what do you expect? she ask if i didnt put on the AC on... what kind of question is that? what if i didnt have AC ? My cat actually ran away outside becsuse he was scared and hid under a car until i pulled him out but thats beside rhe point.. It is always the vet assistant that is always making things worse with her attitude and assumptions she also said "I specifically spoke to you regarding the treatment" when i was explaining what the vet suggested last time and she didnt want to hear it because per her recollection we spoke but naturally i will listen to the vet medical advise of the vet rather than the assistant so idk.. last visit was almost $400 I asked the receptionist if i could pay the rest within 3 days that same person came in very rudely and even if it was approved by one of the staff she intervened and said no.. as i was going to the front she rushed to the waiting room to see if i would run away i saw all that but my thoughts are more preoccupied by my cat..Sometimes you are punishing ppl who are just less fornutate not bad ppl. Anyways thx will not return there.

Expérience fantastique: I just wanted to say that I’ve always had great experiences of this vet. I’ve taken my dog in a few times and I’ve always received great service. I’m often working so my retired father takes my dog in and they’ve always treated my dog and father with great care. Expérience négative: These people are clueless, vets as well. The vet almost gave my dog the wrong vaccine until we said something. They are always confused when I called to ask about charts. Do not recommend going here. These people are not trustworthy and only care about the money!!

Expérience fantastique: I needed a non-urgent appointment for my dog, Johnny Cashew, and got an appointment the next day! With the vet of my choice: Dr. Robert Ostrowski! Within minutes of arriving, my dog was examined. I like Dr. Ostrowski because he takes the time to explain the diagnosis, the causes and the treatment required. Dr. Ostrowski cared for my previous dog, diagnosed her IBS, recommended the appropriate diet, after which she thrived and lived a long happy life.

Expérience négative: So I had my yearly medical checkup appointment booked a year ago. I even got confirmation about the appointment a week ago. And when I went in today, they said the appointment was canceled because of double booking/doctor was sick. The receptionist was not sympathetic nor apologetic about the fact I drove 40 minutes for the appointment and it was canceled. They said they left a message a week ago about the cancelation. But I got no message. The doctors are nice here, but the receptionist not so much.

Expérience négative: Brought my new puppy here for her vaccinations, second time we brought her for her shots the vet almost gave the wrong shot to my puppy after giving her 2 prior and not looking at what they where, how did she know that the 2 she gave her before where the right ones? We were not informed about heart worm tick and flea. We asked her serval questions and she had no idea how to answer them, she also looked board and like she didn’t want to be there. Not to mention they do very little work to our puppy and the prices are absolutely outrageous. We have since changed vets and they have been extremely helpful and informative about things we were not told about at this vet, plus the prices are so much better. I will never bring any of my animals back here agin.

Expérience négative: I paid over $500 to get something to treat my dog’s cough, and she is not any better. Nepean Animal Hospital, owned by a big corp, just wanted to push expensive tests to pad the bill, like a shake down of a concerned owner. Don’t forget the $90 +tax cough syrup that I told them would not likely help. But they pushed it on me, and now I still have a sick dog and blatantly expensive syrup that did squat. Before you trust these people, go check out a vet out of town that cares about animals, not fleecing concerned pet owners. My recommendation: AVOID NEPEAN ANIMAL HOSPITAL LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Expérience négative: I have never had a positive experience here with my rescue dog. The first time we took our dog here the vet had communicated with us that he's deaf and it is not due to an ear infection and everything looks clean. The vet then contacted the rescue and told them that he has redness in his ears and we should watch for itching. The second time we brought him in we informed them that he is deaf and the receptionist there continued to tell me I was wrong about my own dog. She kept repeating that he could hear because he was looking around the room she noises were being made. We asked for an update while our dog was there getting neutered and they sent us away and told us they'd call us when he's ready and wouldn't provide us with any update as to how he is or when he will be ready. She wouldn't even go in the back to check if he's been in surgery or ask any of the techs anything regarding our dog. Not even 15 minutes later as soon as we got home they call us to tell us they can't do the surgery because he isn't responding well to the medications. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Take your pets somewhere else.

Expérience négative: One of my cats is semi feral and the other one is very shy. I took them to this clinic as I used to go there as a foster for the Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue and had no problems. One of the vets saw my female cat, gave her her vaccines and told me she was good for a year as she had been so hard to bring into the office to start with. My male cat saw a different vet who insisted, no matter what I said, that he would have to come back for the booster three weeks later. Needless to say I did not go back. Today, my female cat was sick and I really needed them but when I arrived (3 minutes before opening time and front door unlocked) I was told that the clinic was not open yet and that I would not be seen. I was sent to the emergency clinic with no apology or kind words. I told them I didn't know where the emergency clinic was and if they could write down the information as I don't have data on my phone. A post it was handed to me with no further comments.

Expérience fantastique: My normal vet is Chapman Mills, but was referred here to see Dr. Robert Ostrowski for my French Bulldog that was experiencing neck/back pain. Not only were they able to fit me in same day (I think that was just my luck.) But, he was quick to notice and identify the problem my girl was experiencing. He was very thorough in his diagnosis and I felt extremely comfortable and at ease after meeting with him. The front staff were also great to deal with, both on the phone and face to face. I would highly recommend both Nepean and Chapman Mills Animal Hospital to anyone that is looking for a consistent, well priced, and safe place to bring your pet.

Expérience négative: It’s taken me a while to write this review due to the sheer anticipatory grief I was experiencing however, with Georgie needing to be put down tomorrow I feel now is as good a time as any. I would never in my life recommend this vet to anyone. Let’s start off with the good: they have multiple available times and your pet can be seen quickly however, you don’t see the same vet every time so it’s difficult to build rapport. In the summer of 2023 we took our boy in for a limp and a bump around his eye that he wouldn’t leave alone. They said the eye was due to allergies and he just needed rest and for his leg. The next time we took him in they said they wanted to take X-rays for his leg and brushed off his eye again as allergies. We got the X-rays back and they were inconclusive. We went back a 3rd (or 4th if you count the x-ray) time where the doctor immediately diagnosed him with a torn acl, I asked about his eye which he said it appeared to have something lodged in it- at this time Georgie also began to grow two bumps on the top of his head. We were given pain medications, told Georgie needed leg surgery, and were given antibiotics for his eye. We got a quote for 6500 to repair his acl so we went to see if we could get a lower quote elsewhere which we did. When we took Georgie to the new vet he said he was more concerned with Georgie’s eye and wanted to test the lump before doing surgery on his leg. His lump around his eye came back as hemangiosarcoma and Georgie had anywhere from 1 month- 3 years. We saw an oncologist who did a CT scan which showed Georgie had innumerable tumours on his lungs, spleen, and lymph nodes and he had 2-3 months to live. If this was caught earlier we would have much more time with our boy. We are at the end of the 3 months and now have to say goodbye to our best friend who is only 3.5 years old. Not only did the last vet not prioritize the lumps, he tried to charge 6500 to repair my poor dogs ACL when he had such little time. Three different vets at this clinic saw Georgie while he had cancer, three different vets at this clinic dismissed the lump around his eye. UPDATE: it was supposed to be his birthday and the vet can’t even be bothered to update their records so I got a “HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEOEGIE” email from the vets that killed my dog.

Expérience négative: We are the customers here for years but the recent receptionist will be the only reason for us to change vet. The receptionist (long wavy blond hair, wearing glasses, pink nurse shirt) never greets customers and acts rude. She is unprofessional, not attentive and not respect customers’ time. When being asked, she was frowning with attitude and responded impatiently. It seems all the paper work was always done by another receptionist anyway. We had enough from her for the several visits recently and it’s time to move on to another vet in the area.

Expérience fantastique: Dr Jones & Dr Benjamin are some of the best veterinarians that I've ever been to, and with how many animals I've had, I've been to quite a few different vets. They take time to make your pet feel comfortable before poking and prodding at them. They're great with my reactive dogs, and take the time to explain everything thoroughly to you. The vet techs are amazing as well, always very friendly. And the staff at the front desk are great. 10/10 recommend Nepean Animal Hospital.

Expérience fantastique: May 2022 my cat had a large tumour removed at a different veterinary clinic. A couple days later he somehow managed to open the stitches right up but my primary clinic was closed for the weekend. I called every emergency vet in the area and they all told me that they were “too busy” to help. Nepean was the only place that offered me immediate assistance and I am forever grateful for that experience.

Expérience négative: This clinic is the worst I have ever been too. We brought our 6 month old puppy in yesterday to get neutered. Consent forms signed and check the box for NO DENTAL WORK.. you can probably guess what happened.. they pulled MULTIPLE baby teeth and one Adult tooth. The technician called my mom for consent to take out two baby teeth because they were impacting the way his adult teeth are coming in. She consented to ONLY TWO teeth to be taken out but the vet staff and technician felt it necessary to take out more when we ONLY CONSENTED TO TWO TEETH. The vet or vet tech did not come out to explain how his surgery went or to explain the after care. We got a paper from the receptionist along with some attitude. We had trouble with our banking but got it sorted out to pay for the visit. The Receptionist stated “you know you have to pay before we give you your dog back”… HOW RUDE. 100% would never recommend anyone to come to this disorganized mess of a vet clinic.

Expérience fantastique: The staff treated us sooooo amazing. My cat was quite ill and they took us in same day. Very kind and compassionate lovely people that work here, they were very understanding of my low income situation and worked VERY hard to suit our needs. Very reasonable prices, I had called EVERYWHERE and I'm sooo glad I came across nepean animal hospital. Lint was very lethargic with a fever, hadn't eaten or drank in a couple days I was super worried and riddled with anxiety going in but they made me feel at ease as soon as I got there. After some blood tests, Iv fluids and some much needed antibiotics, Lint came home a brand new kitty as if he was never sick, drank and ate right away as soon as we got home. Thankyou so much for helping us out it truly means the world to us you guys are amazing people with the kindest souls <3

I have never been charged more than 250 for a check up I went in simply to get an antibiotic for my dogs ears and got charged double . Expérience fantastique: My cat had a medical emergency on a Friday night. My vet clinic was closed until Monday. I rushed my cat to a local emergency clinic and waited for hours but due to the high level of more serious cases coming in we were not able to be seen. I was able to secure an appointment at Nepean Animal Hospital the next morning. My cat had never been to Nepean before. We saw Dr. Ostrowski who was fantastic. He was thorough, professional and honest about the possible prognosis. X-rays were done promptly, medications filled and a plan put in place for follow up. I am thankful for the entire team at Nepean and their support during a stressful time for me and my cat.

Expérience fantastique: This animal hospital & it's sister-location (Chapman Mills Animal Hospital) are the best vets I have found. I have been to 3 vets previously, and none have compared to the level of care & attention these vets give you. They are very open to answering all of your questions, and make you feel like you have gotten the most out of your visit! They explain every option clearly and let you make the decisions that fit you & your pets needs. It really does not feel like they are bleeding you dry with every visit (which I have experienced in the past with other clinics). Reception is always warm & inviting, techs are great and are very interested in your pets health! I honestly didn't want to leave a review because I want to keep them my little secret!! Very highly recommend. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Expérience fantastique: I had my kitten, Lucy Joy, that I adopted from Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue (formerly named Birdy) spayed at this animal hospital yesterday and I have to say that my baby girl and I were both treated very well and with kindness and compassion! I was having major anxiety because of losing my cat, Daisy Grace, a couple months ago (she’d been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect shortly after being spayed) so I was really nervous going through the spaying of my new baby girl and this hospital is so kind, patient and compassionate to both the pets and their owners! They answered all my questions and kept me updated with progress calls while my girl was under their care and sent me home with the information I needed for my baby girl’s recovery! Such kind and gentle vets, vet techs and staff!

Expérience fantastique: Moved back to Ottawa in September and was happy to live so close to Nepean Animal Hospital. They took my dog in as a patient with no issue. A couple months later, they saved his life by taking him in last minute when he ate something out of the garbage he shouldn’t have. This week he got kennel cough, and again they got him in right away and gave him great care. The staff are so wonderful, the care is great. I really feel like I can trust them with my dog’s health and I plan on moving my cat there as a patient as well! Bonus that it is so clean and the exam rooms are actually pleasant to sit in. The wait in never too long and the staff are really good about communicating what’s happening. Could not be happier with them!

Expérience négative: TLDR: I will not be returning to this veterinary hospital. The first time I visited this clinic, the vet was very blunt which came off as rude. I have been to this location more times than I can count in the span of 4 months, and each time the service was extremely slow. There was even one time two receptionists were chatting and I waited to get an invoice for almost half an hour. My cat had a urinary issue in November, and it wasn’t treated until February!! I couldn’t imagine what it would be like if she had a more serious health issue. I tried to switch to a vet closer to my house, but they told me I couldn’t because the vet at their clinic was the doctor who ordered the diagnostic tests. I understand that it may take a long time to diagnose an issue, but this just seems excessive for my poor pet to be uncomfortable. ALSO, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to reach them by calling which is incredible frustrating. It took calling 4-5 times before I could reach a live body. There’s one receptionist that seems more experienced but there are others that do not know the details of certain procedures / tests. One of the receptionists told me I had to collect urine from the litter box and she sold me a product to do so. After collecting it and bringing it to the clinic (which was NOT an easy task), they told me the sample was unviable because it wasn’t sterile :/ I was more than frustrated to say the least; not only was I told the wrong information, but I was also pushed to purchase a product from them and stress my cat out even more. They did refund me for the product they sold me, but it would not have happened in the first place if I was told the correct information.

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been taking my cats to Nepean Animal Hospital since they were kittens and we’ve always had excellent care. They are great for both their annual check-up’s but also always able to squeeze us in for urgent same-day appointments. Love that there are multiple vets so they can consult with each other. The vets/vet techs/front of house staff are all so knowledgeable and friendly.

Expérience négative: Began on January 8 my dog pass away asked them to do the service and return the ash of my dog to me,the receptionist said" no problem it takes 1 week to return and what color the urns I wanted" then 1 week after called again one of the receptionist told me it supposed 1 month so I keep on called the every week and finally one month up called again, they found out my dog's ash won't able to return because no one was mentioned all the paper work was messed up but they return the refunds 483$ to me try to cover their end and try to gave me all the other services for free,I don't want that,I just want my dog's ash back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACES AT ALL AND I WIL NOT BRING ANY ANIMALS TO THIS PLACE EVER EVER EVER AGAIN AS LONG AS I AM ALIVE

Expérience fantastique: We were able to get a quick appointment the very same day our Holly showed signs of not doing well. When we arrived we didn’t wait long, the tech took very detailed notes even though I was rambling off info so fast she had to stop me a few times. The Dr. (Sorry I forget her name) was compassionate and didn’t sugar coat things. They called ahead to the VCA on Carling knowing it didn’t look promising, to make sure we were seen straight away. The Vet even ran out into the parking lot without a coat to make sure we had the address correct. Thank you all at Nepean Animal Hospital for taking the time and care on the worst day possible. To the counter staff member who called to follow about how Holly was doing, I’m sorry if I seemed angry. I was just very caught off guard and had no idea how to react. We appreciated the call back even though it may not have seemed like it.

Expérience négative: Only took me 9 months to bring myself to be able to put my feelings into words. The communication, the customer service, the empathy, the willingness…. Lack of all in this clinic. After spending thousands of dollars within 19 days of diagnoses to death, no empathy shown, no communication given. I still don’t know what the hell my dog actually died of, and it’s laughable because you’d assume people with these titles would have an ounce of compassion when it comes to death for their animals. Imagine being told your referral to an oncologist had to be re-requested (after being lead to believe you were in queue to see a specialist to potentially help give your animal an adequate quality of life for their final days) Prescribing 30 days worth of medication to an animal that was quite visibly on deaths doorstep and hadn’t eaten in 7 days, but continue to give them 3 different types of medication (that are to be taken WITH food), only for them to die within 48 hours. No follow up calls, no moral empathy, no sorry for your loss, no HELP….. thousands of dollars thrown out the window to have absolutely no help from people who consider themselves professionals. Disgusting excuse for human beings. I guess I truly shouldn’t have expected anything more given the fact that when I asked a simple “what is this medication for”, the lady had to google what medication was given to me and what it’s intent was. If you don’t want to wait an hour after your scheduled appointment time, have educated persons assisting you & your animals, as well as just want to have basic respect — avoid this place. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Expérience fantastique: I've been bringing my pets to the hospital almost since the year they were open. They have always taken great care of our dogs (and us as well). I am truly grateful for all the professional service we have received over the years. They have helped me care for 6 of my 9 dogs from puppy to crossing over to Rainbow Bridge. Expérience fantastique: Katie and her team are amazing with our cats. I have one cat with some pretty intense bladder issues and another who survived FIP and as a result absolutely hates vets and needles. My cats will never be happy going to the vet but they are fast and efficient and actually manage to get the needles into my needle shy girl.

Expérience fantastique: I recently had a bad experience with a vet and called this office to assist me. I’m not entirely sure who I was speaking with (I believe it was Miranda), but she was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions in a patient and kind manner. She explained the process and broke down the costs for me. I went in to grab prescribed food for my kitten and the service was exceptional. I have not yet had my appointment yet but I’m certain their team takes good care of all of their clients.

Expérience fantastique: Got appointment in right away, good prices and professional. Receptionist was honest and helpful as being new to the area, they don’t push you to take stuff for your pet when it’s not needed. The clinic was referred from friends and seems like it will be our go to.

Expérience négative: Had a bad experience with a nail trim. Ended up waiting a very long time, which is usually not a problem for me, but my dog's very long nails were either cut very short on a few or not cut at all on others. In addition they had forgotten to call me to tell me that the vet was sick and had to reschedule so I drove 1.5 hours there and back for no reason. The quality of this clinics appointments were excellent before so just hoping it hasn't gone downhill.

Expérience positive: My dog has been a patient at this clinic for about a year and a few months now. Almost every single time we call to make an appointment or inquiry, no one seems to be around to answer. I've been in the waiting room and called just to see if they would pick up, nope no answer. Time and time again I've seen the administrative team not answer the phone while sitting right there at the desk. We leave numerous messages and no one gets back to us for days. It's extremely unprofessional and frustrating. We recently got a new puppy and tried calling to book an appointment and low and behold no answer. Do better! Be available to your clients and at the very least return an email or a phone call in a timely manor.

Expérience négative: I used to recommend this place when it came to vets, but I can't anymore. In the last several months, I've had multiple appointments cancelled at the last moment where they've contacted me, and claimed to have left a voicemail however no call was recorded, even after verifying my phone number to be the primary one on the account. The care that they give is still good, the staff is friendly, and they try. But in our case, a cat owner with a chronic condition, these cancellations and rescheduling that I've had to do has only made the condition worse to the point where our options are leaning toward an expensive surgery or putting a relatively young cat down.

Expérience négative: Clinic did not meet the absolute minimum standard of care for a surgical client -- surgeons are responsible for obtaining informed procedural and anaesthetic consent, period. My cat had a procedure under GA booked with Dr. Edgley for two months. In the weeks leading up to it, I received zero pre-op instructions. At morning drop off I signed a consent form that stated I had been briefed on the procedure/anaesthesia, but told the vet tech I had not yet spoken to anyone regarding the procedure or risks based on lump location, and that I expected to. She reassured me, saying they'd do bloodwork and the surgeon would examine him prior to calling me later that morning. No one did. After my cat was in their care for 7 hours, I called at 3 pm -- he had received a pre-med and was about to be taken in. I asked the senior vet tech if it was standard practice that they don't call prior to sedating, intubating, and cutting open a pet without their owner being spoken to about it; she said they don't call on the day of, they just "assume" they've been spoken to in the past... despite me telling a tech VERY clearly that morning of the contrary, they were going to proceed anyways. I went and picked up my cat before they operated and we will go to a clinic that can communicate safely and responsibly. You would never non-urgently operate on a human without consent, why would you on someone's beloved pet? It's unfortunate as we were excited to have Dr. Jones as our regular vet and her (and the clinic) came highly recommended by a friend.

Expérience fantastique: We've only gone to put down our rodents but they were very well equipped to handle these situations. Dr Jones will be our go-to from now on. Update: we've gone here a few times now for our sick rats and to put down another. The staff is ready to help despite being busy and again, Dr Jones is The Go-To Vetenarian that you should use. For use, we need to uber to get their either of their clinics but it's been worth it every time. Even today, they were slightly late, but there was no rush, and she was thorough, and let me list off my questions I had and had provided med refills without batting an eye. You just can't beat this overall service.

Expérience fantastique: While I wasn't here for a happy occasion (RIP Ojo), I am glad to have found a new animal hospital for when I adopt a new cat. Everyone was compassionate and understanding, and my sweet 18.3 yr old Ojo was treated with kindness. They agreed there was no need for a full exam, when she wasn't going to be treated. She was offered treats, as many as she wanted. She ate one. I've already referred a neighbor here. I was at another animal hospital for 28 years, and will be coming here with future pets and bringing more neighbors with me.

Expérience fantastique: I've only been here once so take my rating with a grain of salt. I gave them 5 stars though because they were by far the best experience I've had at any vet I've been to ( I've 30 and been taking care of my own animals, bringing them to the vet since I was 10). I found every vet/ animal hospital I've been to always is very shady and trick you into many different things that they charge you for; things you did not ask for but they twist words so that you're agreeing to different things for you pet without knowing it. I explained my anxiety surrounding this belief and asked that they be very clear about the fees throughout the examination and to only do what I ask. I knew for a fact my dog had worms. Even if I told other places this they would have told me they need to do a test to verify it ( well I seen then so why say a test is needed) So I told them exactly what I wanted and only wanted. Once I was there both the assistant at the desk and doctor addressed my anxiety about hidden fees and multiple times showed me the pre printed out bill and explained to me that yes he would advise I bring my dog in for other check ups he did not make me feel like a bad doggy dad for not being able to afford these things at the time. The medicine worked and my boy was doing great in no time and the bill was actually very very reasonable. *This was max 3 years ago so again.. Grain of salt* but I recommend them fully.

Expérience positive: All great experiences over the course of 3-plus years. However, our most recent interaction with our dog and a new-to-us veterinarian at the clinic soured the relationship. Specific products were pushed quite aggressively on my adult son during the check-up. He explained that we were doing our research and wouldn't be making a purchase that day. He told the receptionist the same thing at the end of the appointment, following which she informed the vet. The vet then called my son back into the examining room to ask why he was turning down said product. My son explained again. The vet then followed him out to the full waiting room, said, "This is the best choice for your dog", and instructed the receptionist to give him the product and add it to the invoice. Very unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. We are now with a new vet clinic without pushy tactics, and we have informed NAH as to our reason for leaving. Giving 3 stars to reflect previous care from NAH. It would have been 5 if not for the actions of the vet in question. Be prepared for massive pressure and guilt tactics if your dog has an appointment with that one in particular.
