Hermitage Vet Clinic has seen me through 3 fur buddies, I'll keep going to them and I would strongly recommend giving them a try.

Expérience fantastique: I had a great experience at Hermitage Veterinary Hospital. I met with Dr. Howard for my cats annual vaccinations. She was very soothing, knowledgeable and kind. The whole team took care of my little guy. Even going as far as cleaning his kennel out and giving him a sponge bath after he had an accident. The clinic itself is clean and well kept. I would recommend this clinic to anyone

Oscar has a lot of ailments and Dr. Kayla made sure to address them all and with great detail and explanations so we understood. She was gentle and kind with the examination of Oscar. The assistance of Danielle (hopefully I have the name right) was excellent with everything she did. Also very kind. All the staff are very helpful, polite when you check in. Dr. Kim Romanufa has looked after Oscars needs and is excellent with him. If your looking for the best care for your pet, this is the one too choose. 5 stars isn't enough Thank you for taking care of our boy for us

Expérience négative: I wish I could give zero stars to this Google review because these veterinarians are very unprofessional and completely outof line with how they respond to people in emergency situation. They offered options from giving small bit of fluids under the skin 200 dollars and sending home taking 800 dollars wittth of testing to humane euthanasia. My 16 year old daughter's cat was displaying symptoms of a kidney infection which I did not know at the time compassion for people that may not be able to provide the thousands of dollars they request for their limited care and absolutely ridiculous acting skills pretending they are helping us and when we find a solution together and leave the clinic they then called animal Care and control and now have an investigation on us which I'm sure will go great but that is not the point the point is now I'm stressed out and my daughter was already stressed out we were crying in there we were looking for solutions and one of the solutions she suggested we followed through with and now we are no longer apparently giving our animal the appropriate veterinarian care even though tomorrow we are going to a new vet where they're not going to charge us a million dollars to do a overall check up and hopefully can help us come up with solutions that won't add to the already piled on stress of having a sick animal with two teenage kids who love this animal dearly. I'd also need to mention that we were there two days prior and we did get antibiotics and pain meds for our snickers boy. and well at the veterinarian clinic he started walking around He's now eating and peeing and doing everything that he wasn't doing I think because of the pain meds we were giving him he seems almost back to normal and yet now we get investigators coming to her house which is fine whatever I just think it was very unprofessional of them to go about it the way they did and it seems to me that they're just money hungry

Expérience fantastique: As always, the staff were so professional and kind. I saw a different vet for each cat and both were very good and explained what I need to watch for as they are seniors.. I appreciated that with my 2nd cat, who is on the large, heavy side, one of the staff members took the carrier to my vehicle.

Expérience négative: Terrible attitude. This is clearly a business focused on profits, not compassion for animals. I called about a stray cat with a badly cut face from what appeared to be a fight with a bird. He had a talon embedded in his back, which I removed. Other vets I contacted said they would help care for him or at least hold him long enough to get him to the Humane Society. Hermitage was the closest clinic, so I called to ask if they could help find a solution for the cat. I was told, “We can scan for a chip.” I said okay, and asked what could be done if there was no chip. I was repeatedly told to “call the city,” even though it was a Sunday. I explained more than once that I was not asking for surgery. I was asking if they could help find a solution. I kept getting responses like “we can’t perform surgery” and “we can’t hold the cat,” which were not what I was asking. The staff member seemed unable or unwilling to actually listen. At that point I told her she was not understanding what I was saying and that her attitude was poor. She then hung up on me. I'm glad she did. I had no time for profit driven, compassionless excuses. I can’t keep the cat because I have my own animals, and keeping him confined is clearly stressing him out. I was trying to do the right thing for an injured, helpless animal. I’m glad I called first. Going there in person would have been a waste of time. Based on this interaction, I would not recommend this clinic to anyone expecting compassion in an emergency.

She is also great at communicating to me my options for treatment and doesn't push what i cant afford. Instead she gives me options. Her staff is just as amazing as her. When she helped my one cat pass away, Dr Wells and her staff were so compassionate. I will always be thankful to them for making that experience peaceful for both my cat and my family. I would recommend her to everyone who has pets.

Expérience négative: I took my lab here, they would constantly tell me he was fat (if he got any skinner he would be too skinny) the vet I go to now says he’s he in perfect shape. The vets kept telling me to bring him in (and pay the vet fee each time) to just get him weighed. Another time I went on for his vaccinations, they wouldn’t do it because he had a upset stomach and to come back and wouldn’t charge me the vet fee, came back, charged the vet fee. I should have known better, I volunteered at this vet clinic when I was in highschool to get hours to be a vet tech and omg, th vets at this clinic wouldn’t even look at me and were way too good for everyone else, and that turned me off completely of that career path… clearly the vets haven’t changed

Expérience fantastique: I am in the midst of a sudden and severe medical issue with my dog who needed to be seen on a Sunday, so we could’ve our usual vet. I chose Hermitage because of the good reviews (we’ve had bad experiences with vets before) and they were 100% accurate. The staff was kind, calm, and caring, getting water and a blanket for our dog to lie on. The veterinarians, we saw two over two days, are warm and supportive and went through every detail of the bloodwork and imaging reports with us. One even sat on the floor with us and our dog! On day two, one of the techs sat with me and listened while I was very emotional which I appreciated. While our situation is very stressful, I’m grateful for all the staff at Hermitage for their compassion and expertise during such a difficult time. Highly recommend them!

Expérience fantastique: We visited Dr Kayla on Thursday with our aging dog. Dr. Kayla really took the time to go through the health of our dog. She provided us with facts and educated opinions which is exactly what we needed to make the right decision for our fur baby.

Expérience fantastique: The front staff is very helpful. Check in is prompt. Dr Howard is an amazing vet. She is thorough, she explains options and gives quotes if a “more expensive” treatment is needed. She follows up with phone calls and emails and tries her best to work around your schedule.

Expérience négative: Will try to guilt you into unnecessary hospitalization for obscene prices regardless of how you think your 15 year old cat would handle having a tube shoved down his throat and will then refuse to provide much needed medicine based on their assumptions of what "Your budget is". I had to push them to give him anti nausea medicine to stop his vomiting during ketoacidosis because the vet told the vet tech that it "wasnt in our budget " when they had our credit card information at the desk. They didnt even keep record of all of my visits or any "off the books" care she provided......in her words.....like refusing unnecessary hospitalization that would have killed my cat was due to an inability to pay for it. I brought him home, I fed him with a dropper to get his blood sugar to stabilize and she basically told me that im irresponsible for NOT hospitalization him. Hes doing great now that we take him the spay and nueter clinic for his care. Prior to this I took dogs in for allergy meds and nail trims....that is ALL Hermitage Vet is good for......do not take your pet here for emergencies. 10 out of 10 do not recommend Hermitage Vet. Awful service.

Expérience fantastique: I can’t say enough good things about this vet clinic! They are always concerned about my cats mental wellbeing as well as their physical wellbeing. This is so comforting to me because cats are weird beings. They got me in quickly and educated me through the whole visit which I also love. And they followed up this morning to see how my cat was doing and encouraged me to reach out with any questions or concerns. They truly care about both pets and their owners. Highly recommend!

On the way there, one of them got herself severely tangled up in a loosened wire and some torn fabric on the inside of the collapsible soft shell carrier. She was suffocating. The staff here reacted very quickly and took her carrier to the back to free her and get her breathing again. They were all very sweet and professional. They saved Jinx's life

They not only helped my cat with his immediate issue but cared about his long term health. Expérience fantastique: I have been going to Hermitage for 18 years, with various pets. I find that everyone is very caring, including the receptionists, techs, and vets. I have seen multiple different vets there and all were so nice and provided guidance when I needed it. I have seen a few reviews mentioning money being more important than care, but that has not been my experience. I have found that they really work with you to stay within your budget, but will also explain all of the options. I will be going there for as long as I have pets.

Expérience fantastique: We just switched our pets' files here after accidentally wandering in to their open house and I cannot say enough good things about this clinic! All the staff have been so friendly and accommodating so far. We've seen Dr Wells and Dr Haas and both were amazing. I had to go in as walk-in over a minor crisis and they made the time for my spicy and dramatic senior cat, even provided routine bloodwork so I wouldn't have to stress her by bringing her in twice. All this despite being busy with scheduled appointments. And I really appreciate receiving emailed discharge summaries and being able to book online, it makes organizing things so much easier. Highly recommend.

Expérience fantastique: Hermitage Vet Hospital is amazing. The staff are kind, caring, and will explain everything so that you’re fully informed with your pets care. I’ve been a customer with them for over a decade. Yes there are less expensive vet places, but the trust I can place with this one is worth it. I have a 13 year old cat who would have died 12 years ago without them, and they have been with me through multiple losses / joys throughout the years. They’ve been there every step of the way through any health issues and even a weight loss journey; and when the time inevitably comes to say goodbye, the compassion given is priceless. I took in a rescue 5 months ago who had pyometra and it wasn’t showing signs when we got her but it showed pretty quick after. Their quick action and suggestion to ask a rescue for help with the emergency surgery cost; is the only reason she’s alive today. I’ve added pictures of the two cats mentioned, still thriving to this day. Thanks Hermitage Veterinary Hospital!!

Expérience fantastique: Dr. Chow was very helpful in treating our dog during our most recent visit. We have been using Hermitage Veterinary since the mid 1980s and have always had positive interactions with them. We moved across town but still use them as we trust them with our pets.

Expérience fantastique: What an amazing group of people, I just took my puppy Capo for his 2nd set if shots. They were able to make time for us the same day and left us with a great sense of confidence with the whole staff.
