Expérience fantastique: I have been going to the same vet for over a decade however I moved very very far away and I have tried several other veterinarians in been very very disappointed, but Bennington Trail Hospital was a wonderful breath of fresh air and I will definitely be going there for all of my other fur baby needs

Expérience négative: Our dog, Maisie was a patient at Beddington Trail Animal Hospital for 10 years since we first brought her home at 8 weeks old. For the most part, I had few complaints aside from having a different vet see her each time we went in who clearly had not reviewed her chart prior to us coming in. So it was always like starting over with having to relay her full history. But a relatively minor complaint. One week ago today, we had to take her to an emergency vet for some serious symptoms that came on suddenly. We had to ultimately decide that day to put her down as she’d had a tumour rupture which caused fluid around her heart and the prognosis was not good. She had a previously scheduled appointment at Beddington Trail just 2 days later. I had received an email asking me to confirm her appointment. Thursday evening, I responded to the email to let them know she had passed and to cancel her appointment. To this day, one week later, I’ve received no response or acknowledgement of my email. The lack of compassion for one of their patients was disappointing to say the least. It is now obvious that Maisie was just a number and dollar signs to them. It would have taken 30 seconds to respond to my email and offer condolences for our loss, but instead she was simply removed from their appointment list and that was that. If you’re in the business of caring for animals then that care should be shown right up to the end.

Expérience négative: I had a terrible experience here regarding a dental procedure for my cat. I was given a quote with a $900 maximum cap that supposedly covered cleanings and all necessary extractions. However, after taking my money and only pulling two teeth, the vet claimed there were six more 'suspected' bad teeth that he couldn’t do it at the clinic and referred me to a specialist. It felt like he just wanted to collect the $900 for the easy work and shuffle me off once it got complicated. They could have removed the other rotten teeth at the same time. Plus my cat lost his voice for one week! I sought a second opinion at another clinic. Not only were my cat's teeth NOT as bad as this vet claimed (only two more actually needed to come out), but the lack of transparency from the first vet cost me an additional $1,400 in fees and new exams elsewhere. Unprofessional and dishonest. Save your money and go to a vet who can actually finish the job they quote you for.

Expérience fantastique: Referred by a friend 8+ years ago. The whole team is wonderful, patient and accommodating (vets, techs and front desk). I recommend their services for checkups, lab work and gland expressions. Also, the clinic is always clean and pricing is fair. Big thank you!

I actually came here from my regular clinic as they are way more reasonable for dental cleaning, and I assume with everything else. With everything so expensive it's a relief to get a nice service as well care to my favorite furbaby on reasonable budget. Reception ladies were very kind and attentive. Vet tech was also knowledgeable and friendly. Green flag they were very busy! Highly recommend this veterinary company who is looking for a NON cooperation umbrella clinic. Your pet and wallet will thank you!

I was very nervous because it’s so much cheaper here than my regular vet & I was worried he would be missing out on proper care. Not the case at all!! I found the care here to be even BETTER than at my previous clinic where I paid 3k for a cleaning for my other dog. Not to mention that was for only 3 extractions, at Beddington my dog had 7 extractions and it was $800!! Everyone was so kind and informative and helped me feel comfortable about the whole process as well as the after at-home care. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. Thank you for providing Calgary with affordable dental for our beloved pets!!

Expérience négative: Killed my dog with their unprofessionalism Details to come! I am sharing my experience to raise awareness, not for financial gain. My 7-year-old dog lost 3 kilograms in three days and had stopped eating and drinking. Despite this, a veterinary clinic did not refer us to emergency care. Instead, they performed diagnostics, delayed blood testing, and sent us home with instructions to force-feed. Within hours, my dog’s condition worsened. At an emergency clinic the following morning, I was told he should have been referred immediately due to the rapid weight loss and symptoms. Blood results there were available within minutes. My dog died that same morning. I believe this raises serious questions about triage decisions, delayed emergency referrals, and ethical responsibility in veterinary care. My goal is accountability and awareness so other pet owners don’t experience the same outcome.

Didn't know what a false pregnancy (pseudo pregnancy) was with my dog 10 minutes of googling we knew more then they did we took our animals to another vet and they were surprised how terrible this vet is if you care about your animal stay clear

Expérience négative: I visited this clinic to have two loose teeth extracted from my dog. After the initial examination, the receptionist explained that the maximum cost for the extraction surgery would be up to $800, regardless of how many teeth were removed. Since I was only planning to extract two teeth, this sounded reasonable compared to other clinics. However, as the process continued, I realized that many additional costs were not clearly explained upfront. Blood and urine tests were charged separately, as well as X-rays and other items. In the end, only one tooth was extracted, yet the total cost came to approximately $1,000. I found the pricing to be not transparent, which was very disappointing. Had the full breakdown of potential additional costs been clearly communicated from the beginning, I would have reconsidered proceeding with the treatment at this clinic. Based on this experience, I do not plan to revisit this veterinary clinic.

Expérience négative: Atal Bahadur yells quite loudly and did not make my dog feel comfortable. He was also a bit rude. Ultimately, he made both me and my dog uncomfortable. I do not recommend seeing this doctor at this clinic. I’m sure the other doctors are fine..

Expérience fantastique: Our two dogs have been attending Beddington Animal hospital since 2020. We have been quite satisfied with the service and the prices. At one point we had to say goodbye to our beloved Willow. At a very emotional time they were kind and very supportive. I would and have recommended Beddington to anyone.

Expérience négative: It’s usually a very fair place with great staff, but for some reason, even though my dog has allergies and it’s been shown that the cytopoint injection helps her for 4 months, they would not administer the shot because the last time my dog saw the vet was in January of the same year. Even though she went in 2 other times for the shot. It seems like a money grab and horrible customer service. Let’s say I have a known issue like diabetes or high blood pressure, the doctor won’t cut me off of my meds.

Expérience négative: I just found out Beddington vet is the same as Prairie winds vet. Not impressed. I will say that my Deacon cat is doing well under the care of one of the doctors. However in the past blood results have taken too long to get back, 3 weeks was the last one. Yesterday we got our results for two of our cats. My husband couldn't get the meds needed as we were going out of town, however they were kind enough to get us a prescription so we could go to another vet. Sadly, both of our cats have the same condition now, and they did the prescription in the wrong cats name. We got the meds but we have to deal with insurance, is it hard? You take money from people but the service given is limited. I'm paying attention. I'm grateful for my 2 cats vet, my husband is not impressed with the vet he sees. Do better, be better. You take good coin from people, I think it's fair to expect a good service. Your staff at the front are nice people, not sure they are the same from time to time, but they are all nice.

Expérience négative: Worst vet ever! I will never come back here and can’t recommend. I ended up going to the emergency hospital for my dog and paid $1700 because of the procedure that they did. They don’t even clean my dog after the surgery. He was full of blood all over his tummy and legs. Very terrible and 100% no quality!

From the moment we came in, the Vet Tech Assistant, Sarah, welcomed us with sincerity and compassion. Dr. Sandhu was extremely attentive, taking her time with our dog, Wally, and accessing his illness. She took the time to explain her findings, including sharing the X-ray imagery. We felt comfortable and at ease from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Highly recommend this vet clinic❣️

The vet was obviously afraid of my dog, stressed her out with all kinds of poking and unnecessary bs before they even examined the wound I originally came in for. At that point she didn't want to sit still anymore, he starts squeezing her wound during his examination and obviously causing her discomfort, she let out a cry and he jumps back like she's going to attack him. The entire experience was awful. Dr Sidhu is very clearly uncomfortable with dogs. Not sure why you would choose to be a vet if you dont have a love for animals. Honestly after that visit I will most definitely be looking else where for a new clinic. I guess there's a reason they charge less then the average clinic - You definitely get what you're not paying for. In my opinion you should save yourself the terrible experiences and just go elsewhere

Her love for dogs is obvious and she was extremely patient and caring with my anxious dog. She took the time to make him feel comfortable, not trying to rush through the exam at all. She deserves to he recognized for her exceptional service - both to the customer and the animals she works with. Thank you Dr. Mehak!

Expérience négative: Horrible. Didn't diagnose my dog's illness and mishandled his blood sample so we lost weeks waiting for them to get the results from the second sample. My dog had to be put to sleep during that time because we couldn't get treatment in time waiting for their incompetence. By the time, we brought our dog to another vet, it was too late.

My 10 year old Chihuahua mix (with heart disease) had his teeth cleaned, as well as 2 removed (one very infected) and the care was incredible. The girls were all so kind and loving towards him (which put my anxious fur mama heart at ease!) and Dr. Sidhu is a gem! He walked me through the X-rays and the procedure and I felt 100% confident leaving. The cost vs the level of care is amazing. You often feel a bit robbed leaving the vet lol, but we paid $840 TOTAL, for the surgery, X-rays and various meds. It’s not as though you can just say ‘no’ to whatever your pet needs at the vet…and this is the first clinic I’ve visited that doesn’t exploit that! 100/10 recommend!

Expérience négative: This is a review for Dr. Atal Bahadur. First off, I have lots of experience with vets and have worked in the field myself as an assistant. The vet we met on our first visit was extremely condescending and constantly talked down to us. We were hoping for a second opinion for allergies and he made us feel like we knew nothing of the topic after talking to other vets about the problem. Secondly he refused to believe us when we mentioned already having a dose of cytopoint done for our puppy a few months ago stating that cytopoint is not allowed for young dogs. He only believed us after we showed him the paperwork and he called a vet dermatologist to confirm that it is in fact safe (and recommended) to give cytopoint to a 10 month old puppy. Lastly, when he administered the shot, he chose to do it on the hind leg and made our dog squeak from pain and bend the needle. Our dog has been given many shots and never notices the administration. Now it has been a few days and he is still itching. The last time he received cytopoint, his itching ceased immediately. After thinking, I realized that our last vet administered the shot behind his neck/between his shoulder blades. After looking at the recommended method of administration for cytopoint online, it looks like our vet at Beddington chose the wrong place to administer and that it should be administered behind the neck. He most likely hit a muscle when administering a subcutaneous injection, resulting in unnecessary discomfort and a decrease in effectiveness of the medicine. I hope this review encourages the staff to review best practices more thoroughly because I just spent over $200 on a medicine that did not work (when it worked flawlessly when administered previously). Based on previous reviews, it seems like this clinic has some great staff but I would advise against booking with Dr. Atal Bahadur.

We arrived at our appointment and received warm welcome from the receptionists (and other dogs). The doctor we met was kind and answered all our questions. We will keep coming back!

The owner is a vet who owns the clinic who is there to ensure that his staff and everything is up to his high standards to ensure the animals are getting the very best care. I moved to this vet clinic after being screwed over multiple times by vets under VCA which is just a huge corporation that trains their staff and their vets to lie and sell unnecessary medical care to their clients in order to make as much money as possible off your animal being sick which is sickening. But not here. The vets truly care about your animals. Don't care about screwing over clients for money and is locally owned. Stay away from VCA and support veterinarian-owned clinics to ensure you're getting the best care always

Bird had her check-up and vaccinations with Dr. Sekhon, who is the nicest, gentlest, and kindest veterinarian I've ever encountered! He explained everything, including the initially worrisome news that Bird has a heart murmur, for which she was prescribed medicine, and I was assured that she'll be okay while on medication. Dr. Sekhon was so knowledgeable and helpful in easing my fears about Bird's health - I truly appreciate his expertise and empathy for not only animals, but their overly anxious owners as well! The visit was topped off by care from the sweetest souls up at reception, who clearly understand how to deliver excellent customer service! Thank you to everyone at BTAH for an amazing first visit! Expérience négative: I went to this clinic last Saturday with my cat having a small patch of hair bold.he was diagnosed by tye wrong disease. Gave him wrong meds. Even the vet said i yjink its a bacteria so he gave him medication wirth 115$ that did nothing but made my cats situation way worst .hes bleading the patch became so big .my cat is so quiet and stressed. I called to fo back they said i have to pay for a new visit and of course for bew meds. I am so mad. My cats health is getting worst. I kept thinking maybe the meds will start wirking the next day but it wasnt. I want my money back and they need to treat my cat for free after his health got worst.this is not acceptable.

Expérience négative: (Negative Star) Terrible! Extremely careless!! Unprofessional staff!!! We brought our golden retriever in for an allergy shot “Cytopoint” this morning. As we walked in, we’ve confirmed the time, date, our dog’s name and the reason why we are here with the front desk receptionist. The front desk receptionist acknowledged it and arranged the back room staff named Kailey to take our dog in for his Cytopoint injection. We were asked to wait outside at the front desk area because doogy parents are not allowed to go in to the back room to watch during the injection. First attempt: A few minutes later, Kailey came out with our dog stating that they gave him the “shot”. I immediately asked her where did they inject the shot (which part of his body) and she said his left front shoulder. As we were about to pay the bill, the front desk receptionist was encountering a billing invoice problem. We asked her what happened and is everything okay?? She told us to wait because she couldn’t pull up our dog’s invoice for Cytopoint injection. She told us she could only see “Librela medication” coming up on her computer screen. In the meantime, there was also a lady waiting at the front for her dog to get the Librela injection. As soon as we heard what the receptionist and the lady said our heart just dropped and we knew something was wrong!! Second attempt: The front desk receptionist went straight to the back and told the back room staff about the billing issue. Kailey then came out again and said she needed to take our dog in for an injection, because they didn’t give him any medication yet from the first attempt and there was a mix up. When they came back out with our dog, they said he already received his Cytopoint injection and that they just wanted to verify with the technician that it was the correct dog. The information provided to us was conflicting, and had us worried and concerned for the wellbeing of our dog. When questioned to what had transpired and there was hesitation in confirming what was done. This whole experience was unnerving leaving us feeling not confident about the safety of our dog. Leaving with a sense that our dog was given the incorrect medication had us worried to a point where we had to call multiple veterinary hospitals to be reassured our dog isn’t in any life threatening situation. We had asked originally if there was any side effects if there was an accidental injection of the incorrect medications and we were told 100% no side effects whatsoever, which was not true based on what the other vet hospitals had told us. Although not life threatening which was a relief to know but possible lethargy, diarrhea and other minor symptoms. After an hour the administration staff called and offered an appeasement for the experience and asked if anything that can be done. We replied no. This whole experience was “HORRIBLE “ leaving us feel very bad that our dog had to go through this!!

Expérience négative: I just walked out of this vet office during our appointment and will never be back. I have taken all my dogs here over the past 10+ years and it was always a very positive place that I felt my dogs were being cared for. The vet who was seeing my 1 year old dog today was someone I had never met before. Apparently he is the owner (Atal Bahadur Btah). Read the reviews most bad ones are relating to him and now I know why. He should not be in this industry. I made an appointment for a few reasons (1 year vaccine, tummy problems, and anxiety related panic attacks). I told the receptionist all the reasons I was coming for and I know she wrote them all down as she read it all back to me. Atal clearly read nothing before coming into the room. Kai let out one woof when he walked in and then immediately settled down. Atal opened the treat jar and started sprinkling the floor with treats which would have been ok if I wasn't there because of extreme tummy upset. I mentioned the reasons we were there, one of which was anxiety and a recent night terror/seizure. He said yeah he needs to be on medication. At this point he hadn't touched my dog or even asked me anything. Yet he had concluded my dog needed medication. I said my dog is a border collie Australian Sheppard mix both of which are high anxiety I didn't even feel that he was listening to me. He said he will need to be on the medication for several months. He still had not touched or said hello to my dog. I found this strange. All other vets I have seen always start by saying hello to my dog. A dog wants to sniff a stranger to be sure everything is safe and this vet would not let Kai close to him. I asked him about non medicinal options we could try first and he didn't say a word. He clearly doesn't like animals he just makes money off of them. He left the room without saying anything, comes back in with a handful of muzzles, tosses them on the floor and tells me to choose one and then walked out again. I realize sometimes this might be necessary but he should have talked to me first not just sprung it on me by tossing a few muzzles on the floor and walking out. Kai was not doing anything threatening and he is not a biter and muzzling him is just going to make things worse. If I had had the opportunity to talk about it, I would have told him I put a muzzle on Kai before to prevent him from easting garbage and he was completely distressed and fighting to get it off. Literally doing summersaults trying to get the muzzle off. We would have been fighting Kai the entire time he was being examined and now a vet trip would have been impossible in the future. It would have been better for me to hold his head facing me I would have told him this if he would have chatted with me. He wanted me to traumatize my already nervous dog. UNACCEPTABLE!! At least talk to me don't just enter the room and toss muzzles on the floor and leave with no opportunity to discuss options. He is extremely impersonal. He called me after I left from his personal cell phone to ask why I left and when I explained that I felt very uncomfortable with the way he dealt with us and that I didn't trust him now he YELLED at me and told me that I was the problem not my dog and HUNG UP ON ME!!!! So obviously I will not be going there again and I strongly suggest you shouldn't either if you love your pet. Cheap prices are not everything! Remember he is the owner! This means he will face no repercussions for his bad behavior except to lose a customer. There is nothing you can do except warn people not to take their pets to this clinic. I have referred a lot of people here and now I will make sure everyone knows that the owner Atal Bahadur Btah is unprofessional and clearly not in this business for the welfare of your pets.

Expérience fantastique: Very awesome clinic! I called on very short notice to get my kitty vaccines done and they were super accommodating for me! The receptionists are all very kind and patient with your animals, and the vet I saw is very thorough and also quick, knowledgeable and helpful with any questions. The prices of getting my kitten vaccines done here are definitely cheaper than some vets out there so we drive all the way across town to come here!! My kitten was pretty calm due to the nice environment, we will be making this our regular vet!

Expérience négative: Cheap prices but you get what you pay for. I had to redo my review due to a recent indecent. My dog came in January 6 for an evaluation. It was determined that she had a possible chest infection and heartworm. We discussed doing an ultrasound if the heartworm test came back positive. My dog conintued to have issues, but the vet told me since the heart worm test was negative, there was no need to do the echo (ultrasound). I told him I was willing to do it if it was necessary and he said: "Don't worry, no heartworms- no echo!" He told me it was great news! No heart worm and no need for an echo. She passed away in my arms last night. I went to the emergency vet twice, and they said he should have ordered an echo. I called this vet and he said he didn't do the echo because I said it was too expensive. Which is not what I said. Also I paid double to do it at the emergency vet clinic. I wasted precious time carting my dog around trying to get answers I could have gotten on the second vet trip. He was in and out of that room so fast he didn't even feel her over. Came here for the prices. You get what you pay for.

Expérience fantastique: This isn't our regular vet, but our vet isn't open on the weekends so I brought our chihuahua to the Beddington Trail Animal Hospital instead. We had a great experience. Dr. Mann and the staff were pleasant and did well with our dog who requires a muzzle. He was friendly, attentive and he explained everything including taking me into the back to go over the xray. The front end staff were also friendly and pleasant and I thought the bill was quite reasonable for the services rendered. I'd definitely use this vet clinic again in the future.

Expérience négative: Never had a bad experience until I got this vet I’ve never seen before, Mehak Kaur. Basically she questioned my reason for coming in (I wasn’t sure, that’s WHY you go to the vet) and then showed me my pet in distress, surrounded by blood and urine so she could correct me on what is actually going on with my pet. They then scared me into thinking my pet is immediately going to die. E-Vet says this is not the case as you can see by the x-rays Beddington GAVE ME in the first place. They have no idea what they’re doing. They also don’t respond to emails about your concerns about how you were treated. Would not recommend for your pets.

Expérience négative: I had a very traumatic experience the last visit I had here. For context I have an older cat with kidney disease and I've had her since I was 10. She's been such a big support in my life. We brought her in to check on her teeth and do an updated blood work test. When the vet came in to look at her teeth she was scared to touch my cat (my cat wouldn't hurt a fly, she will mostly just push you away when you try to touch her mouth, she doesn't bite) we tried to tell the vet that it's okay and she doesn't really bite or scratch, but the vet was still too scared to get a very good look at her teeth. Then the vet weighted her and took her to the back to do the blood work and urine sample. While she was back there I found hear her screaming through the very thin door. Her screaming was pretty horrific and then I suddenly hear laughing from the tech's while my cat is scream in pain and someone is saying "ew gross!" And they're all laughing! I was horrified. I couldn't help it and i bawled my eyes out on my partner's shoulder (Thank goodness he was there) and I had to plug my ears for the rest of the procedure, which felt like forever. Once they were finished they gave me my cat back covered in urine and rubbing alcohol, wrapped in a towel. I was so discussed by how unprofessional the vet and the technicians were during this whole appointment. Additionally, I wish the vet talked to me about my options with the urine sample because previously the other vet got us to do the sample at home. Which I definitely would have preferred to do over having my cats badder stabbed with a needle... but I wasn't given options and I didn't know what that procedure was like until looking it up after. I would not recommend going here unless all you care about is the lower prices and don't mind getting lower quality care for your pet.

Expérience négative: They cancelled my cat’s order of insulin 3 times and did not explain why, just said the order was missed. On my third visit to the clinic, they mentioned they left a message on my other family member’s phone saying my cat needed a new blood test before receiving the same insulin he’s been on for 4 years. They would not put in an order or provide temporary insulin until I could arrange a 4th trip in the same week. This clinic used to be great, but this was a stressful, exhausting experience.

Expérience fantastique: My wife and i were unsure about getting our lil guy 5.5 yr old Shiba's teeth cleaned with a number of extractions, that they then found a heart murmur, but they told us to go to a Cardiology and get his approval to go under .. and thank God for that because now our lil guy has his happy fresh breath all over again and he is happier than ever again. Thank You Beddington Trail Vets .. awesome darn job for saving us despair and a lot of a cost we would've had to find, I highly recommend to visit here .. Lance. .

Expérience négative: My dog is now six years old. We’ve been going to this veterinary clinic since he was three months old for vaccinations and checkups. The staff are friendly, and their prices are reasonable. This is our first time raising a dog, so we often asked various questions during visits (note: any questions you ask may be recorded in the medical record, and the insurance company might use this as a basis to deny coverage). Aside from feeding him a specific brand of puppy food in the 1st year, we started trying different brands and flavors of dog food to see what he liked. We didn't realize that not all dog foods were suitable for him. After more than a month of intermittent diarrhea, we consulted the vet here, who noted in his medical record that he has a sensitive stomach(They didn't ask or think why my dog was fine for the 1st year). This directly led to the insurance company refusing to reimburse us for over $1,000 in treatment costs a few months later. Once, when my dog was around two years old, his eye turned red. I took him to this clinic, and the vet said he had glaucoma. Oh my god, he was only two! After a few days, the redness went away, and it hasn't recurred in the past four years. Unfortunately, ‘potential glaucoma’ was also added to his medical record. I scheduled a meeting with the clinic's owner to discuss this, but they didn't take any action, so I stopped going there. For the next four years, we only fed him Costco dog food, home made cooked meat and didn't give him raw bones, and he rarely had diarrhea. Due to the notes in his medical record, I also canceled his insurance.

Expérience fantastique: Excellent Animal Hospital in Calgary. Beautifully renovated facility makes even more enjoyable for pets and per’s parents… Doctor GAURAV SHARMA, by all means, is the best vet my little Buddy has ever met (and loved!!)… Very knowledgeable, and most definitely , he’s adorable when dealing with my puppy. Thanks also to all the front and back staff. They’re AWESOME.

His thorough examination and clear explanations made me feel comfortable and informed about the treatment options. Additionally, the front desk staff at the clinic are always so pleasant and helpful, adding to the positive experience.

Expérience fantastique: Came here to have my cat neutered. Everything went fine but after getting home I panicked. He was spotting blood and dragged his crotch through the (clean) cat litter. I was worried about his bleeding and the clumping litter ( I replaced with regular litter) getting into the wound. When I called them, they told me to bring him back so they could have a look. They cleaned him up and sat with me and reassured me everything is fine. The dr walked me through what they did and what to look for and expect. No extra charge and very reassuring. Thank you Dr. Gauraz for your patience and kindness. Conan was playing and cuddling within a few hours, even presenting his belly to be rubbed. My heart is full.

Expérience fantastique: Had a last minute emergency where my three-legged dog tore a shoulder. We called during their lunch break and the owner said he could fit us in in 30mins. We were in and out of the vet with full solutions and prescriptions within 40mins, and we only had to wait 5-10mins to see a vet. By far the best vet clinic I have ever encountered. They also don’t try to make big margins on prescriptions, so if your dog has a lot of health issues like mine, this place can save you thousands of dollars over time. Incredible service, would drive from a province over to get their service if I had to (it would probably be faster anyways!)

Expérience négative: I took my dog yesterday, and paid. I was not given a reciept and my invoice was sent 5 hours later. I took my dog for a routine vaccine, and as we were leaving the vet said "take this dewormer, it is complimentary." It was not complimentary, and showed up on my invoice at $21. They are refusing to refund it. My dog did not need a dewormer and the ONLY reason we accepted it was because it was free. Invoice fraud, and refusing to honor this is ridiculous. Criminal. And we will never be going back.

Expérience négative: I guess this vet stands out for its cheap price. I brought my cat here for vaccinations. After a year, Beddington sent me an email told me that my cat is due for vaccination. So i bring my cat to the new vet near my house, and find out that dr. Atal Bahadur got my cat dog vaccine instead of cat vaccine. Please don’t take your pet here!

Expérience négative: Two years ago I went in to get my dog's teeth cleaned. The vet there told me he wouldn't make it through the procedure due to his advanced age and heart condition. They recommended a specialist that would have cost 7,000 dollars to fix his teeth. Two years passed along with 40% of his body weight we got a second opinion and they put him through right away with zero issue. His teeth had gone so rotten in that time puss was coming out of the affected teeth. I've had three dogs be patients of this clinic, two of which they put down for us, so I have exstensive experience with them. These people don't know what they're doing and will even lay blame on you for the state your pet is in even though another clinic can help them. Don't go here, and especially don't have them put a pet to sleep, they won't be respectful about it.

His gentle approach and compassionate explanation when it was clear that she was nearing the end of her life meant so much to me. Expérience fantastique: Hands down, the best vet in Calgary. Kk the stuff is kind, caring and don’t make you feel like you are just a dollar sign. They work with you and actually care about your pet. My dog was hit by car and the care that all the staff put into her, was amazing. Truly a compassionate place to bring your loved one. I recommend Beddington to anyone who has a pet, that they love. It literally feels like I’m with a paediatrician ( cause my pets are my babies ) love these guys. ❤️❤️❤️

Expérience fantastique: I recently had to put down my dog Zoe unexpectedly. My sister recommended Beddington Trail Hospital as she brings her furry animals there for their care. The staff were compassionate, understanding, gentle, and loving towards Zoe in the final moments of her life. I appreciated their support. I have another furry family member that has since been for a visit to Beddington trail animal hospital for her monthly pain medication and again they were great!

Expérience fantastique: The vets there were very professional. They did required tooth removal surgery on my boxer Monty. Originally the quote was for 5 tooth extractions . Boxers having notoriously bad jaw teeth and gums, during surgury they determined they had to remove 12 teeth in total. In addition to providing all the pain medications, antibiotics and post surgical advice they only charge the original amount or the quote which was only $500 INCLUDING EVERYTHING!!! So amazing and appreciated. I would highly recommend this vet clinic. They understand not everything is a zillionaire and pets care can be very dauntingly expensive. . They also did next day and one week follow up phone calls. Very professional. 10/10

Expérience positive: Just had my annual exam appt for my senior dog today with Mehak Kaur and it was the best exam I have ever had with a vet. She was very friendly, very thorough and knowledgeable! When I asked about arthritis in my dog she believed he has stage 1 but was told he did not need a full blown prescription hence I didn't get ripped off. She truly cared about my dog. Thank you. Also the lady at the front desk by the window was great as well! Really recommend here!

Expérience négative: I took my two dogs for a yearly checkup. I have only been to this clinic once before and the vet was amazing. This time though, Dr Brar saw my dogs. I have never had such a dismissive, condescending vet before. He had his back to us for most of the appointment as he typed on his computer. Asked questions about them while still staring at the computer. When I tried to answer questions he would talk over me and not let me finish. During this time he also took a personal phone call. Never in my life have I had a doctor or vet take a phone call while with a patient. When it came time to examine the dogs he took about 1 min on each. He claims they didn’t have heart murmurs but only had the stethoscope on them for about 5 seconds. It seemed that he really didn’t like animals. The rest of the staff was great and I would return to this clinic just not to this vet.

Expérience fantastique: Highly impressed with this clinic. Our dog was palliative and in his final days. The vets were compassionate and quick to realize what couldn’t be saved. They could have made money off of us several times but did what was best for our Andy and us. I will always applaud integrity, kindness and wisdom when I see it. The admin team and vet techs were so helpful and kind from the time I walked in the door. After his surgery Dr. Sharma took the time to show me my cats X-rays and inform me of what was done. As for cost: I phoned all around Calgary to try and find an affordable Vet to take blood & assessment of Smokie (Shih-tsu/ Toy Pom). Beddington cost was 1/3 compared to all these other places stating their prices were affordable. I’m letting everyone I know that has pets. Beddington Trail Animal Hospital is WELL WORTH the drive! 10 Stars

Expérience fantastique: We got an appointment pretty quick to check our dog to see if we could get her teeth cleaned. The doctor was very nice and so was the front stuff. One of her kidney readings on the blood sample was a little high so we had to get an additional urine sample and dropped it off and we got the results the same day. So far so good. The estimate we got for a teeth cleaning was a lot less than most other veterinarians. As you know teeth cleaning is very expensive. I would definitely recommend Bettington Trail Animal Hospital.

Despite my dog's severe condition, having severe diarrhea and being unable to stand or walk, they refused to see him due to our 10-minute delay in arriving. I understand that tardiness can cause inconvenience, but I was shocked by their lack of compassion and understanding. As a result, I had to seek medical attention elsewhere for my dog's urgent needs. I was also frustrated that my previous requests for a new doctor were not accommodated, as I had previously experienced an unkind interaction with the previous doctor. When I shared my honest review of the experience, I was met with a defensive response, and they suggested looking elsewhere for veterinary care. I'm left wondering if this is truly the standard of care that pet owners should expect from a veterinarian hospital. It's disheartening to see such a lack of empathy and understanding for pets in need."

The prices they charge are reasonable and can actually make the care affordable. They treated my guy Ajax with love and dignity in his final days.

Expérience négative: On phone the operator said one amount to check the pup and x ray, after arrival 5 times higher. Ridiculous. Second star added cause the doctor waived the consultation fee, in fact doc did not want to discuss anything without blood test, sedation, radiology report and something else. I had small concern regarding puppy, however they made an elephant from a fly. If customer requests the advice it shall be discussed appropriately. Think twice before you agree to their treatment plans. Horrible

Expérience fantastique: Awesome vet ! Super fair prices and they always take great care of my pets and take the time to explain what is going on so I understand . I have read a couple reviews saying the opposite that they do not take the time to explain the hats going I can personally say I have never felt rushed or left feeling confused like things weren’t explained properly . Another review complaining the vet ran away from an aggressive animal why don’t they have better training ? Nobody deserves to go to work while and come back scarred or missing a piece of themselves even a little dog can cause serious damage! If you know your dog is anxious or scared at the vet maybe let them know beforehand and have them provide a muzzle or provide your own muzzle for your animal.

Expérience négative: Was told my senior cat had stage three gingivitis and to take medicine. It didn't get better. Brought him back. Was told he has an enlarged heart but to start a medicine and it will slow it down. They said his teeth were fine. A week later. We take him to a different vet to find out he has cancer in his mouth. And could tell immediately he wasn't okay. One of the worst heart murmurs they've ever seen. This vet played down how sick my cat was. Told Me it wasn't that bad and he would be fine. My cat is now dead not maybe 2 months after first visiting you. Take yourself back to school please. He didn't grow a tumor in 2 weeks since our last visit with you.

The vets are compassionate (especially Dr. Perry who really cares about the wellbeing of both the pet and the owner, and he follows up even when he is not on duty/offwork). My experience with other vets has also been very positive. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and always try their best to book me in early whenever needed. The X-ray technician lady is also very kind and genuine. I enjoy my interactions with all of them. Overall, a great vet clinic with good people who truly care about your fur friend!

The staff were MORE than accommodating, polite, respectable and extremely helpful, as well, they answered all of our many questions. Our little cat was in great hands and we were certainly appreciative to BTAH for giving us an appointment the next day. Their prices are very reasonable (compared to every other place we have taken our pets to) and we are extremely satisfied with our "new" Vet Hospital. The receptionist is very kind, and very professional. I almost wish I lived in the area so I could go back. Called in was able to get a same day appointment for vaccinations and expression for my dog on a Saturday!. The front reception. Was too notch, even through chaos to make sure everyone was helped, all staff interactions were a positive experience. Dr.Sandhu took her time and actually went into detail about my concerns-very knowledgeable. I did not feel rushed and she took her time to allow for a proper introduction to my canine. My pup had minimal stress. Payment was a breeze all in time spent less than 30min and all my questions answered. Definitely will go back again.
