Fantastic experience: There truly aren’t enough words to express our gratitude for Forest Glade Animal Hospital and their incredible team. After our dog began showing concerning symptoms, we brought him to our regular and longtime vet and unfortunately left feeling lost, unheard, and under-treated. We were scared and scrambling for answers. We called clinics all over the city — even as far as Hamilton and Toronto — until a friend recommended Forest Glade Animal Hospital. That recommendation changed everything for us. From the moment we walked through the doors and were greeted by a kind receptionist (whose name we didn’t catch but will never forget her warmth), we felt a shift. Then we met Kylie, RVT, who was truly on the ball — present, empathetic, relatable, unrushed, and completely attentive to the urgency of our situation. She made us feel seen and heard. She relayed every detail (and then some) to the doctors with care and thoroughness. And then we met Dr. Heather Egan. I can confidently say we have never experienced this level of compassion, honesty, urgency, and empathy from a veterinarian before. Dr. Egan laid out all the information, all the options, and even shared her personal thoughts with transparency and kindness. She treated us like people, not just another appointment slot. The outcome for our sweet 5-year-old boy was far from what we had hoped for. With Dr. Egan’s guidance and after being given every possible option, we made the hardest decision of our lives. Throughout it all, she was gentle and delicate with our boy. He was calm. He was comfortable. He felt safe. And that means everything to us. They say it takes a village — and in our most heartbreaking moment, Forest Glade Animal Hospital was the village we desperately needed. Thank you to Dr. Egan, Kylie RVT, Amber RVT, and the entire team for giving us compassion, dignity, and care when we needed it most. We will never forget what you did for our family.

Negative experience: I went to this animal clinic last Wednesday and called today to book a follow-up, only to be told I’d have to pay another visitation fee on top of the vaccine fees after just one week. Completely unreasonable and ridiculous!!! Terrible experience overall. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: When we moved back to Windsor, I chose Forest Glade Animal Hospital to take care of my dog based on all of their positive reviews. Over the years they were so helpful, kind and caring. And when it was time to say goodbye to Barkley they showed true compassion. Thank you ladies for being with us and Barkley during his last moments and for the beautiful plant delivered to our home.

Fantastic experience: I'll preface this by saying that I am absolutely crazy when it comes to my cats (truly). I can count on one hand the amount of people I truly trust with them and my best friend from back home doesn't even make the shortlist. Needless to say I am very hesitant with their vet care and despite living in Windsor, I still take them to the vet back home. Last week, I started thinking that it may be time to find someone here as the boys are getting older and driving three hours for the vet is not ideal, especially in an emergency or urgent situation. So naturally, something came up yesterday and one of my boys needed to see a vet. Relying solely on reviews, I took the chance and called Forest Glade to see if they could help me out as soon as possible. The receptionist I spoke to was absolutely lovely and helpful. She was able to get me in within the hour (literally). She was able to seamlessly facilitate the transfer of my boy's records from his vet back home, so the doctor here could review them before even meeting him. Both the tech and Dr. Amanda were very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Amanda handled my boy gently and patiently and I felt completely comfortable with her. She was very thorough and met me at my knowledge level when discussing my concerns and all of the options. Blood work was done quickly onsite and I was told my boy, who has a history of being EXTREMELY difficult for this, behaved well which I believe is a direct reflection of the tech's skill. At no point though did I feel pressured into any testing or medications. When it was time to pay, I was very pleasantly surprised with the total; $500.00 for the exam and blood work which included several tests. Reception also told me they would complete his insurance claim form to send off and send the results to the vet back home. Overall, I am very, very pleased with my visit here and I will definitely come back for follow-up care. The only thing I would add, and this is absolutely nothing I would count against them, is perhaps provide the quotes for testing by default / without request when at the clinic (I'm not sure if they do and I am just a one-off). Vet care can get pretty pricey pretty quickly (especially in urgent situations where your head may not be all there) and though I am fortunate enough to be in a position where I could handle the surprise waiting for me at the counter, not everyone is. Thank you all again!!

Fantastic experience: All our pets see Dr. Perry and she is wonderful. Very thorough and helpful. Staff is always very nice and help also.

Fantastic experience: I recently brought my 17 year old shihzu to the hospital in distress. My primary vet at another hospital was on vacation. We were met by a triage tech who was very nice and understood my concerns. Rex was immediately taken to be examined. After about 20 minutes, Dr. McCormick explained in detail her diagnosis. Dr. McCormick was very professional, patient and caring. She prescribed some medicine and gave Rex a shot. Thankfully, he was able to recover within a couple of hours. I rarely write reviews however, i can without reservation recommend the hospital as of one of the best I have ever attended.

Negative experience: Very expensive, reception is friendly but the vets gave me the vibe of being stone cold, condescending and felt like they saw my dog as a gold mine rather than a patient. Wont ever return and dont recommend anyone to take their pets here for anything.

Fantastic experience: Best Vet Office in Windsor Essex! Everyone there really cares about your pets, the receptionists are all very friendly. Competively priced. They even sent me a plant delivery with a condolences card when my cat passed. That is just amazing - they're so friendly there. I recommend this place to everyone.

Positive experience: frustrating hours, says open until certain time but closes early once arrived. Entire victoria weekend closed, online says hours only different for the monday but once arrived can’t get food

Fantastic experience: We brought one of our 2 beautiful rescued cats in panicking as we knew something was wrong. We were immediately informed that he needed surgery due to a blockage and that this diagnosis was life threatening!! We were upset, scared, worried, you name it! The doctors, staff, vet techs, everyone there were absolutely amazing!!! Dr McCormick, who we saw initially and who did the surgery was comforting and helpful. Following up with us over the next 2 days, Dr Perry, Dr. Egan, Cherish and Kylie (I think that's her name-pretty girl with tattoos) and the staff at the front desk, were all awesome, understanding, comforting and genuine!! If I could give them 10 I would!!! Thank you so much for making our boy feel better!

Positive experience: Edit: I was called back about 30 minutes after posting this review and they accepted their mistake and gave me my money back. I eventually paid what I was told on the phone. I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. Original review:- I had a frustrating experience today at Forest Glade Animal Hospital. I called ahead to confirm the price of a case of Royal Canin Urinary SO (cans) and was quoted $53.47 for the case, with individual cans priced at $3.34. Based on that information, I made a special trip to the clinic to pick it up. However, when I arrived, I was told the case was actually $64.13. When I explained that I had been quoted a lower price over the phone, the front desk staff checked with a manager but ultimately told me the $64.13 price was final and they didn’t know where the original quote had come from. The person I had spoken to on the phone had already left for the day, and unfortunately, no effort was made to honour the original quote or offer a goodwill discount for the confusion. I did make the purchase but couldn't help feeling that my time had been wasted. While I’ve had better experiences in the past (I've been a customer at this clinic for 4 years), this visit left me disappointed. I usually shop at Rivard Animal Clinic, which is conveniently located near me and has always been great with customer service—this situation reminded me why I prefer them.

Fantastic experience: Not gonna lie,a little pricey but I've been to less expensive vets and you definitely get what you pay for. I personally would rather pay a little more. They are very compassionate and informative.

Fantastic experience: Had to put my dog down a week ago and this was my first time using forest glade. My experience, given the reason I was there, was absolutely perfect. All staff was very friendly, caring and professional. They really made doing that much easier. The little things even after was comforting. I am definitely using them for my other dogs care going forward.

Negative experience: Normally I wouldn't do this, but i think the feedback is important. My family have been coming to this animal hospital for decades with various pets of ours. Up until my newest dog, it has been nothing but a pleasant experience for us and the care and attention to detail was always top notch and appreciated. The first appointment i had went fairly smooth. My dog was apprehensive as it was her first visit but the Vet was patient and calming. What I would expect from this location. The second visit was unfortunately a lot less pleasant. My dog needed to come back for some shots so we came into the office and the vet tech was not providing adequate bed side manner towards my dog and was rushing the whole process. This was frustrating as it was my dogs second visit there, and while she did only need shots, she should have been made to feel welcomed and comfortable. The vet tech asked if I would like to hold my dog for the shots which I was happy to do to help calm her down and help her through the process. It was no more than 30 seconds and a few position adjustments and the vet tech decided that she would need to take my dog to the back and get assistance from her colleagues as my dog was quite on edge and scared. This did not sit well with me because instead of trying to create a warm environment where my dog would not be scared, it was a time and numbers game to try and get us in and out as quick as possible. Hopefully I can adjust this review or write a new one, but for now, my recent experiences have not been to the standard of which I have previously had at Forest Glade Animal Hospital and I am quite disappointed by that.

Fantastic experience: I find it hard to express how amazing the team at Forest Glade Animal Hospital is. I've taken two dogs there in the past. My most recent visit, I had to put down my 9 year old Boxer... They were so incredibly kind and caring. The knowledge and expertise is astounding. Update: it's now a few years later and my opinion of this place and everyone here remains unchanged. I will continue to take every animal is ever own to this veterinary hospital. Hands down, best in the city!

Fantastic experience: Forest Glade Animal Hospital has been excellent to my family over the 8 years we sought care for our dog there, and have been nothing but kind to us. As our dog passed from old age this year at 13, they've continued to show us kindness and consideration, sending us flowers and donating to the University of Guelph's Veterinary College in her name. Your pets are in very good hands here and I'm glad that they were able to care for our pup.

Fantastic experience: I started using this vet after having a very bad experience with another one. After reading their reviews I knew I had to give them a chance and boy am I happy I did. Extremely kind, compassionate and professional. I just had to have my Tyka girl put down this week after 14 long years of loving her and they got me in the same day, were extremely kind and explained everything to me every step of the way. I did not want to take my girl anywhere else as I did not trust anyone else to do this for me. I have another dog and 3 cats who have also been here and will continue to come here when needed. Thanks so much for everything guys ❤️

They handled my pets with great care and attention, thoroughly explaining each proposed treatment step. Additionally, the prices were reasonable for the services rendered. Negative experience: I would give them a zero if I could. I do not recommend bringing your pet here at all. They are all about money and not caring for your pet. My pet was put through unnecessary additional surgeries (they knew she was dying) that caused additional suffering in the last days of her life. Greedy

Negative experience: Terrible place go in for routine surgery on a relatives pet, find out they kill the animal bring it back to life and flip the bill on me!!!! They should be accountable for the pain and suffering, medical bills all for free!!!! I don't recommend this place in any way!!!!!

Positive experience: The vets and staff are very nice but you wait in the room for quite a long time before the doctor sees you. The quality of care is very good but the prices are very high and they can't get you in right away if your pet is sick. If my dog is sick enough that I think he needs to be seen promptly, I don't expect to wait a couple of days to get in. We switched vets and receive awesome prompt care for a much more reasonable cost

Fantastic experience: My family had a beloved dog that had reached, after 14 years, a point where she was not able to continue fighting to get through the day. She had a fall, and was not able to stand, let alone walk. The staff at Forest Glade Animal Hospital were able to quickly schedule an appointment when we requested euthanasia, and treated our pet and my family with both compassion and kindness. Dr Amanda explained the process to us in a thorough manner, and ensured that she had consent from us at every step. Her conduct was professional and kind, and I cannot recommend her or any of the other staff that assisted us highly enough. I am glad that they were able to care for our dog right to the end.

Fantastic experience: I've been very happy with the services here. Brought my cat in. He had bad glocoma and needed his eye removed. I was provided with a detailed quote and was informed of the entire process. This all required multiple visits and the fees were very reasonable. They also called a few days after the surgery to check in on the healing process. Overall I've been very happy with how everything went.

Fantastic experience: Really happy with the expediency and quality of care we've received for both emergency and regular visits here! Most recently we brought our ragdoll Mochi in for an unknown but semi-urgent issue (turns out to most likely be a UTI). They were able to get us in to see the vet quickly and tests were done expediently, so we were able to get a diagnosis before we left and didn't have to leave Mochi there. It's been 3 days and he's definitely feeling better! The office and exam rooms are immaculately clean. The staff is super competent and on the ball - they got our cats' records from our previous vet in Toronto and loaded them all into their system before we even got there. Vet care is thorough, gentle, and compassionate. We've seen two vets so far (sorry didn't get names!) but both were excellent. Price is fair in our opinion! We'll be back in a few weeks for two of our other cats' annual checkups and vaccines.

Negative experience: They had great customer service. But over 500$ to get a 7.5 pound cat fixed is kind of crazy.

Fantastic experience: We've been taking our cats here for 2 years now since we've moved to the east side. The vets and vet techs are SO kind, knowledgeable, caring. My cats are in great hands and we will never go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Been a client for nearly 10 yrs. Vets very reasonable and have only done necessary tests. Had one incident where a dog had been sick on and off and Dr Perry started my dog on anti nausea medication for possible issues with pancreas, instead of doing blood work. Whatever the medication was, it worked wonders and saved me money by not doing blood work (the vets try to save me money where possible).

Fantastic experience: I've had nothing but great experiences with the vets and staff there. Really wonderful with my dog, realizing his nervousness and taking it slow. They were super patient and understanding when I had to put my cat down, even going above and beyond compared to other vets. You can tell the staff there care for their patients. They are also reasonably priced as well. I recommend them to all of my friends.

Fantastic experience: Every staff member and veterinarian go above and beyond to provide exemplary care. They are compassionate and realistic to each individual and unique situation. In the case of a loss of a pet, they also provide kindness that surpasses by sending a card, plant and making a donation to the veterinary university for research in veterinary medicine and you receive that letter in the mail. The vets take part in continuous learning as well and are wonderful bone surgeons and ability to do and read ultrasounds better than most. Their knowledge and kindness is unmatched.

Fantastic experience: No bull veterinary care. I appreciate honesty over bottom line profits all day long. Thank you for helping me say goodbye to my furbaby today. My other 3 fur mutants have been under their care for 3 years and never an issue.

I had a bad experience at another local vet two days ago and wanted a second opinion, and I am SO glad I did. She was so gentle and kind to my cat. The technicians were very kind as well! Positive experience: The front desk staff at Forest Glade are friendly & helpful; the vet techs are great - they’re always kind and caring when taking care of my fur babies; and my experiences with most of the vets have been really good. Dr. Amanda is amazing - she was really patient and helpful in taking the time to explain a very serious diagnosis that one of my cats received and her follow-up showed that she really cared about my babies. I haven’t always been able to see her due to circumstances (emergency) but I will definitely ask for her when she’s available.

Fantastic experience: Very kind to your fur babies and honest

Negative experience: They kept charging me check up fees on same problem that my dog has and they never resolved it. And when I tell them that why I’m paying check up fees when my dog has the same problems within months they turned out to be so rude and gave attitude.

Negative experience: Honestly had terrible experience because I’ve brought my dog for the same reasons every time where I spent in total of over 3k and they kept charging me for a check up fee when I kept coming back with the same problem. They never solved the problem till now. The receptionist was very rude and gave so much attitude when I wanted to reschedule the appointment for my dog.

Fantastic experience: Brought my cat in with a possible allergy and viral infection. They dealt with both issues and we left satisfied that our cat was going to get well soon.

Fantastic experience: If you care about your pet. This truly is the place you want to take your fur babies, too. We moved to the area from the GTA 5 yrs ago. Forest Glade diagnosed and treated our sweet boy Scout (senior chihuahua x)with arthritis and CHF. Their care is always professional with a gentle, kind hand. At the beginning of this year, our boy crossed over to Rainbow Bridge. With guidance and compassion, Forest Glade Animal Hospital aided our boy in his journey. Forest Glade sent us a beautiful plant, donation in Scout's Honor, and keep sake mementos. They truly do care ❤

Fantastic experience: was there on Friday from a walk in clinic call in that morning from Tecumseh animal hospital, doc and technician are both friendly and helpful, try to solve problem in a way that does not cost a arm and leg but gives you enough information to proceed to the next step. Price is little higher than ambassador animal hospital but still in a reasonable range, same owner as Tecumseh animal hospital, so profile is shared which is great(buy 1 get 1 for free:))

Fantastic experience: Dr. Perry is amazing. She goes above and beyond. I found most of the people here are compassionate. Our vet that we belonged to for years wouldn't help us out. Our dog had terminal cancer. The day he took a turn for the worse we had to make that horrible decision. The vet was closing early for inventory. Tecumseh wouldn't take us in but Forest Glade that was also closing earlier for the same thing welcomed us to bring our loved one in . I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us out. We were very emotional besides the stress.

Negative experience: Over priced and they don’t ask permission before giving shots and then give you an outrageous bill for it all. Not impressed and won’t be going back with either of my dogs.

Fantastic experience: The best animal hospital in all of Tecumseh !!! Went to a couple different ones with my past dog and the vets/staff were rude and didn’t care how they handled the dogs. When my dog was sick we brought her to the one on lesperance rd where they completely missed a huge lump growing on the side of my dog, we had to point it out.. after this we looked for a new vet and came across this place. Unfortunately we had to put our dog down but the staff at this hospital made it easier to say goodbye. They were so compassionate with us and our dog and handled her with care knowing she was in pain. We recently got a puppy and she ended up breaking her leg, they got us in so fast and handled our puppy so gently as she was in pain. If you’re looking for a vet/animal hospital THIS IS THE ONE!! They are so caring towards the pets AND their owners and very accommodating. Thank you all for your amazing work!!

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience with the staff at Forest glade Animal Hospital. The staff were so kind and compassionate. They were helpful and answered each question with care and understanding. We unfortunately had to put down our dog suddenly but the staff were so wonderful. They allowed us to take our time, there was no rush on making decisions and they followed up with my family by sending flowers. We felt so supported in our decision and cared for before, during and after. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this animal hospital and how they cared for not only our beloved dog but also our family.

Negative experience: Pretty sad when i can go get a full pedicure cheaper than what they charge to cut my 20lb dogs nails that is not aggressive at all. 43.80 plus tax is what they charge! Highway robbery! When i called to ask about the charge they gave the excuse that they are low on techs so it takes away from the doctor, sounds to me like the doctors are cheap and don't want to pay for proper help and are gouging their customers to pad their pockets in the process. Will never be back! Can tell it is under new ownership sense doctor teresa retired!
