Negative experience: I am incredibly unhappy and frustrated with this vet clinic. I have a cat that has severe behavioural issues. I have taken him to multiple vets, gotten x-rays, urine tests, altered his diet, got him medication, and used pheromone therapies. Nothing helped. The humane society concluded there was nothing medically wrong, and that they couldn't take him due to capacity, and with the nature of his behavioural issues couldn't keep him regardless. He would be euthanized. And with almost all other shelters around at or near capacity, with his behavioural issues, he would not be high priority. I was out of options. I agonised over the decision but finally decided to have him euthanized. It was not an easy decision. When I finally got to the vet, after stressing and agonising over this decision, Dr. Kang would not do the euthanasia procedure for me. He felt there was more I could do, yet the option he provided had zero guarantees and would take at least a month to see even potential changes if I was lucky. The solution he provided I didn't feel felt reasonable for my problem, and despite my choice to continue with the procedure, he opted out. He sent a vet tech to inform me a tech could proceed but Dr. Kang would not. I felt so overwhelmed and upset I eventually left. I'm stuck unsure what to do with my cat and now have to re-evaluate my options. To disagree with and refuse to administer a procedure I have stressed and cried over on the day of my appointment left me feeling incredibly frustrated. If I didn't already feel bad enough, he made me feel worse by choosing not to provide a service and sending someone else to inform me of that. (The techs could administer the procedure, but by now I was full of doubts.) So, if you have an animal and have strained to make the difficult decision, I wouldn't go here, because Dr. Kang will only make you feel worse about the already troubling decision.

Fantastic experience: They put Walker Road Emergency Hospital to shame!! They take care of the problem and they truly care. They don't take hours to not resolve a problem!! Thank you so much for everything thus far!! Keep up the good care!!

Negative experience: Yesterday October 8th 2025 at 12:43pm, I had called this vet for a legit question about a rodent, since they take rodents, I waited nearly 10 minutes on hold and got hung up on, as soon as I started my question. Now I had mentioned to the girl on the phone that it might seem like a silly question but I needed guidance. That is not professional in any kind of way. I was thankful I found another vet that was extremely helpful and gave the little guy a shot at life. If your staff can't take someone serious about a rodent question they have, you shouldn't list rodents as one of your specialties. Or educate the staff member that had hung up on me for beginning a question. Edit to add, no it was not a dropped call. You could tell it was clearly hung up. The lady made it clear when she dragged the hand piece against the base of the phone.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 vet. Over the years moving from city to city I haven’t found a vet that actually cares. One of the community cats in our neighbourhood needed an almost full mouth teeth extraction leaving with only 4 of her bottom teeth. dr Jammu and his team provided excellent care to her and I couldn’t be more grateful. Because it was through a rescue I hadn’t met him until the follow up appointment and I was amazed at how well he did with her. This was not transactional, this was a doctor who truly wanted the best for our girl. When I am ready to have my “own” animals again I will be coming here. Again, thank you to you and your team for providing nurturing care to the helpless.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly & professional staff, I recently purchased a new puppy, I brought him to Clearwater Animal hospital for his first shots and booked him for follow-up shots for the year, was able to sign him up for their puppy program which spreads the cost of those shots over the year instead of initial big expenses, it also covered his exam fee. They treated my puppy with kindness, gentleness, and care. The vet was thorough in his examination and did a great job answering my questions.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say that Clearwater is always very professional and caring. They work with you the best they can with pricing, and even make exceptions when they reasonably/financially shouldn't and I love them for that. I've had 3 cats go through their Vet and every time whether it was a quick check up , emergency, or in the case of very recently, euthanasia, they are very kind, caring, and knowledgeable. The staff here has always made me feel welcome ever since my first visit 5 years ago. They have sent off my 3 cats with dignity and made sure everything went smoothly. As difficult as it was, they made it much better with their care and understanding. If I ever get another pet, this will be the only vet i'd go to, and I suggest that to everyone in the windsor area that can afford it.

Negative experience: Just picked up my new fur kids and wanted to use Clearwater because I dealt with them a long time ago but especially because of Dr. Jammu who I have known for years. He cared for my other fur kids and wanted that same care for my new ones! Called to speak with him and the staff said they would let him know but no return phone call. I called the next day to book them for appointments and staff took some information and stated she would email the form to fill out for new clients. No email by around 2:30 so I left a message and still no callback and no email. Cancelled my appointment with them and went to a better operation. Very disappointed!

Fantastic experience: They took excellent care of our two cats for many years. And I'm thrilled to say they'll be taking care of our new puppy. So looking forward to seeing you all again.

Negative experience: Clearwater animal hospital visit February 26th, 2025 I had a very disappointing experience at Clearwater animal hospital. I took my 4-month-old puppy there on February 26th/2025 due to concerns about a possible blockage in her stomach. On my way from LaSalle animal hospital to Clearwater, she vomited again, which I immediately informed the staff about upon arrival and suggested they do a second x-ray. The next day when I spoke with Dr. Manjit Jammu the vet who did the surgery I was informed that no foreign objects were found and no second x-ray was taken (despite my concerns). This lack of thoroughness and communication is unacceptable. Especially dealing with a young puppy's health. I trusted them to take my concerns seriously and provide proper care but that was not the case. Had they done the second xray as requested, my puppy would not have been put through an unnecessary surgery. I will not be returning and do not recommend Clearwater anyone who’s looking for a vet who prioritizes transparency and thorough medical care.

Negative experience: I've been at Clearwater roughly 6 years. I've also had pet insurance for years. Yesterday, they did an unauthorized credit charge on my credit . I called, and the rude, uneducated lady said I miss a payment in Aug 2024. They took a payment last week and the prior 6 months. Then lied and said for 6 months they tried to call. My number never changed, and emailed the same. I get a notification saying thank you for payment each month.

Fantastic experience: All the doctors are extremely engaged and show great empathy towards my dog Triggs. The staff are friendly and caring which makes for a good experience.

Negative experience: I used to love it here but I swear there are new veterinarians here and they are absolutely awful. Recently I went because my dog had a rash. They took him back and said they couldn’t see the rash.. but proceeded to prescribe me a bunch of different medication for the rash they didn’t even look at. I told them to bring him back and look again because I showed them when they came back in the room. They brought him back again and SHAVED HIS WHOLE GROIN AREA. This made the rash 10x worse and way more irritated and inflamed. They proceeded to prescribe him $430 worth of stuff including Flea and Tick medication which I never asked for and he does not have Flea or Ticks.. it’s also winter. As well as a cone which I told them multiple times I already have a cone and 3 different medications including antibiotics. I asked them if it was infected and they said they don’t know, so I didn’t agree to getting antibiotics. I got him this mouse that’s antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic and it inflamed it up like crazy and made it 110% worse. I will most likely not be going back in very upset. I was dealing with was Dr Dipesh Kang. I will not be letting him deal with my dog again as now he is so inflamed I’m not even sure what to do. I’m using all natural products now in hopes I can get him back to himself :( He seems completely traumatized from the shaving and the whole vet experience. Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: Brought our new puppy in for his first shots and every single staff member was so nice and informative. Very glad we decided to go with clear water and will continue to do so.

Negative experience: We took our dog into this vet and what a disappointment. She wasn’t able to walk on her back paw and the vet was pulling and twisting her back leg and said he couldn’t tell anything with out X-rays that would have been a charge of over 1000. The assistant was looking at things we were not even there for and was very frustrating to deal with. The vet gave her meds for 2 weeks that didn’t help. We took her to another vet were they were caring and helpful.they took X-rays where she had a broken knee due to cancer. We had to put her down the next day as the diagnosis was grim. We are very sad that the vet at Clearwater tried charging us double for the same treatment at another vet. Our baby wet through so much in the last 2 weeks where with proper diagnosis and no price gouging people for the treatment so desperately needed and it would have made a difference.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this vet...super friendly and extremely caring..asked lots of questions and only diagnosed what was necessary and didn't make up charges like so many other vets in Windsor...im a new client and after the service and concern shown for my dogs wellbeing...ill be a lifetime client..top tier service and completely satisfied

Negative experience: I would not recommend. They always make my dog and I wait an ridiculous amount of time to be seen by the technician and vet which totally stresses my dog out. Today they shorted me on my dog's medication doses and didn't bother to call me to correct it. Not professional at all in my opinion. Always trying to upsell services. Not good.

Negative experience: I have been to this vet 3 times in the first year I had my dog, and all three times have been a nightmare. As soon as I got my dog , I got him full coverage health insurance, which was costing me $130 a month. When my dog fell off my humongous 4 ft. tall king-size bed, and failed.. he hurt his back legs. The insurance wouldn't cover it because the vet here.Put it down as PRE-EXISTING How is falling off of a bed preexisting?! So, needless to say I had to pay for his pain meds OUT OF POCKET. The next time we came , he was having issues with his prostate. They did not figure out what was wrong with him. And trust me, THEY DID NOT EVEN TRY to figure it out! They automatically assumed that it was his legs again. DESPITE ME TRYING TO TELL THEM that it was INTERNAL this time! They sent me home with $265 worth of pain meds. They DID NOT HELP WHATSOEVER! It actually made it worse! They never called to check on him after we left. And they weren't responding to my calls either for 4 DAYS, I tried calling them back because my dog's penis looked like it was going to EXPLODE and was swollen and bleeding all over the place. They finally answered, I took him in and did a brutally painful exam on his penis and told me they need over $800 JUST FOR TESTING They should NEVER have sent me home with two hundred and sixty five dollars for the pain meds without even DOING THE TESTING FIRST! The other option they gave me was $181 for antibiotics. The antibiotics seemed to help, but the issue came back within a few weeks. I had to pay another vet $560 To FINALLY FIGURE OUT he NEEDS to be NEUTERED! This "animal hospital" Has very unprofessional staff, and they are OFF my EMERGENCY USE ONLY list! O.OOOOO STARS!

Fantastic experience: My cat had a lump growing behind one of his front legs. It didn't seem to bother him, but just in case, I went to this veterinarian on the recommendation of my mother. They were awesome! Not only were they quick to help, they explained everything they were going to do, and gave approximate pricing. The entire staff was welcoming, warm, kind, and empathetic. I'm pretty sure I'll need to see a vet again for my cat. I'll make sure to come back here. I was so impressed with them, and trust that they'll treat my cat with the care he deserves.

Negative experience: I was going to Clearwater animal hospital with my Mastiff for many years. I was always very happy with their service but there was a change in the staff. I was treated so poorly and talked to so horribly that I switched my dog to a different veterinary hospital. It is unfortunate that people are treated this way by the staff at the desk. My mother currently takes her dog here as well and also notices the demeanor change of the people at the desk. They are so rude and she will be switching her dog to a new hospital as well. The veterinarians are great at Clearwater I must say and I was very sad to have to go but disrespect is something that should never be tolerated!! Especially when the disrespect is happening due to their lack of organization.

The staff are all friendly & kind, and all costs are thoroughly explained up front. No $50 fee to start up/transfer our dogs, like Brack’s & Belle River demanded. Both dogs have some serious health concerns, & we feel much more confident getting them looked after here. The dogs love them, too, especially Dr. Jammu. I noticed a couple of reviews saying their prices are high??? We’ve been to Brack’s, Forest Glade/Tecumseh, & Lasalle, & do NOT agree!! Other places are charging more. Fantastic experience: I have been a client since 2007. This is my vet of choice for all my pets needs. I have had to make the heartbreaking decision to put two of my beloved cats to sleep. One in 2009 and the most recent December 2023. Each time the staff was so caring of my needs and my geriatric kitties. I highly recommend.

Negative experience: I do not recommend coming here if you have a rabbit. I came here for an abscess that turned out to be tooth related and doc said he couldn’t pull the teeth because it’s not his specialty. How is it not your specialty if this is a common issue in rabbits? I still ended up paying a total of around $800 on my $1400 bill - for nothing! Nothing got treated and I have to spend more at another vet. They say they can transfer the paperwork over to the other vet to skip the diagnostic process - well it doesn’t work like that. I will still be charged for an exam at another vet. A waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: One of the best places to take your furry friends, can honestly say this place is the most family based place to take your animal, their staff are out of this world with both kindness and knowledge, and they are very fair with their prices, and are fully willing to help explain any and all questions you may have. Positive experience: My dogs eyes were infected. I didn't realize so were his ears. The vet uncovered it. They gave me a cost estimate before they did anything and if there were things listed on the estimate that they didn't do they told me right away and fixed the bill. They were really good with my dog and I'm happy with their pricing.

Negative experience: Brought my dog in after he was sprayed by a skunk. The spray went directly into his nasal cavity. Even after numerous attempts to inform the vet of Brody’s problems they insisted on performing unnecessary tests. Not once did they listen to Brody’s actual symptoms. After spending well over $2000 and hearing “things dont look good for Brody” I brought him somewhere else and that vet listened to me. It was a fungal infection that was treated with medication. Beware!

Positive experience: Overall the staffs level of care is extraordinary. They were thorough and I really appreciate the follow up they did for my pet after their procedure. My only concern is the price, I do find this facility more than double the cost of other clinics. A quick comparison to the lasalle vet for example and you'll see massive price differences.

Fantastic experience: Clearwater has been my main vet for many years. Dr. Jammu is very knowledgeable and compassionate. All the staff is very friendly and always willing to accommodate if there is an emergency. I never have to worry about getting my pets the best care because I know the techs and Dr. Jammu will care for them as if they were their own. We recently lost our little dog in January, the clinic did not hesitate to tell me to bring him there right away. As soon as I walked in, I was taken into a room. The staff did all they could to save him but ultimately it was his time to cross the rainbow bridge. Dr. Jammu was there every step of the way explaining our options and giving us his professional advice. They were so compassionate and understanding, never made us feel bad about the decision we had to make. Dr. Jammu takes his role very seriously and always puts in 100% effort when he is at the clinic. Also the clinic has very fair prices compared to other clinics. Will always recommend Clearwater animal hospital for everyone’s pet needs. Your fur babies will feel the love every time they go in.

Fantastic experience: Let me preface this with a disclaimer, I'm not an animal person. Personally I think it's outrageous what people do for pets. Having said that Jammu is n excellent vet, he removed uncomfortable cysts ×7 including on the eye lid n rear end. Also removed teeth. Our dog is large and can be cranky. All the cuts are very clean, precisely done and healing remarkably well, not even using the cone of shame anymore. I would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Was very disappointed that the immediate response to my anxious 4 month puppy was to have her come in sedated, no other option. I've since then switched to another vet, worked with my dog, and she now has a great relationship with her vet. The rest of the staff was very friendly, I just wish the vet was willing to work with my dog.

Fantastic experience: I recently transferred to this vet from my old vet. I love the care, patience and time they give to my pet rabbit and myself. I like they are willing to answer my questions and to help me give my little fuzz ball the best care possible. Not only that but they are affordable as well.

Positive experience: Been around for years. Brought my friend's dog in while dog sitting for a scheduled appt. She loved the staff (And she isn't a huge fan of ppl) They had pretty neat options for vaccine cards. If you travel they have a card that'll fit nicely in your passport. I seem to recall a tag w a QR code on it. This was a roughly a year ago so I could be misremembering Unfortunately they do not have weekend boarding due to staffing. Which is a huge shame, they could've saved me some bad stress when I had to board my dogs last fall. Had to bring my dog there today as my vet's booked solid. Got excellent care, clear explanations, and they were good w my guy. They are my choice for when my vet retires.

Fantastic experience: Always greeted well and service is excellent. They are always trying to make things comfortable under every situation possible. I am comfortable with the vet and he is great with my 2 kids (yorkies) They take the time to speak with you until you understand and they call you at home also for updates. They follow up after surgery if need be. I just wish the prices were a little less then they are for being on a fixed budget.

Negative experience: Dr. Manjit Jammu saw my bunny 2 days ago. My bunny has an absess on his tooth. First of all I wasn't allowed to go in due to covid. Veterinarians love this BTW because you are now a number and they don't have to speak to you. $200 later I was sent home with antibiotics that has caused my bunny to stop eating, pooping and peeing. And with $1800 estimate for surgery. I left a message for him to ask for other options and to tell him about my bunny's new situation. He never did call. He's now enjoying his weekend while I'm watching my bunny get sicker. I now have to pay for another examination at another vet. As far as Dr. Manjit Jammu is concerned animals are just his method of earning money. He does not actually care about them.

I was very happy with the experience I had. They make sure any questions or concerns you have are answered before you leave. Fantastic experience: My dog went in for surgery. Although I was fearful as my dog is over 12 years of age, Dr. Gill provided all the information on the procedure and after care to decrease my apprehension. Surgery went well as did her recovery. Dr. Gill and his team are supportive and very caring. Thank you for an excellent job.

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service my dog recently had a reaction to a medication and they immediately offered a credit and replacement and also checked with the maufacturer on the reaction. They followed up the next day and our continuing to gather furthet information for my dogs safety. My dog actually whines to go into the vet office he loves them all so much.
