Fantastic experience: Our six-year-old lab fell victim to the common cruciate ligament injury. We were referred to Crestwood for an TPLO and Dr. Scott was Knowledgeable, Experienced and confident with his surgical approach to this injury. The process was completely seamless start to finish with the staff at Crestwood. Drop off and paperwork was fast and efficient in the morning. I was able to pick up my dog by 5 PM the same day. The discharge package and medication’s were very thoroughly labelled and the veterinary tech provided a detailed rundown of what to expect post surgery. A major concern for many with veterinary surgeries is cost, and Crestwood’s provides extremely high-quality care for an exceptionally reasonable total surgical cost . All these factors make Crestwood’s veterinary and surgical services difficult to compete with, and I would recommend this clinic to anybody requiring surgical services for their pet.

He went above and beyond in every way, from making sure our cat received the best possible care to calling us multiple times just to see how he was doing. He never once made us feel taken advantage of and instead showed incredible integrity and heart. It’s so rare to find someone who cares this deeply, and we are endlessly grateful to have our pet in his hands. If there were more than five stars, he’d deserve every single one.

Negative experience: I have been taking my pets here for almost 20years and today ended that. My very anxious dog needed his nailed trimmed. Is traumatized from having his quick cut as a puppy. They know Tim’s. They are his vet and he’s 12 and they have done it for years. He was back there a long time and came out with 4 quick cut and in an absolutely panicked state. You lost a long time customer today and added to my old dogs trauma. Oh and you lost my appointment. I almost forgot that part. I made it online was sent a confirmation with a time and you folks had no record of it. My dog is not okay.

Fantastic experience: 10 year old Kobe tore his doggie acl. Dr.Scott repaired it. They provided a couple options. I cross referenced and sourced out other options. All other Vets and signs pointed back to Dr.Scott. He did not disappoint. We decided to on the TPLO surgery. We followed all their protocols, and everything was a great success. It’s been about 4-5mths post op. It seems like Kobe is even stronger, he can really dig into to his power stride. I’m very thankful the Crestwood Vet team. Also credit to The Holistic Pet Clinic for their advice.

Fantastic experience: Crestwood was outstanding in every way!!!! Our Greyhound broke her leg on a Saturday morning during a quick stopover in Edmonton while we were en route from BC to SK. The emergency vet released her back to us later that night in a splint with pain meds, and we began desperately seeking advice about surgery/travel options for the days ahead. Crestwood responded promptly on Monday with an estimate for surgery on Tuesday based only on the emergency vets x-rays and discharge notes. The cost was a welcomed a relief - especially by comparison to the emergency vet’s estimate - and she had her surgery. I cannot say enough about the incredible care she received from Dr. Scott! He took a great deal of time explaining the procedure beforehand - and then again after the surgery, as it was quite complex! He put our minds at ease about our travel plans to get her home to BC, and his fabulous staff also made themselves available for our questions and concerns before we left and via phone calls and emailed questions/concerns after we were on our way home to BC. Our girl, Laurel, is doing “GREYT” and we are immensely “GREYTFUL” for the care provided by Dr. Scott and the staff at Crestwood! THANK YOU!! We highly recommend Crestwood!!

He’s very thorough with exams, ensures I understand the diagnosis and always schedules adequate follow ups. He is one of the only veterinarians that I trust with care for my dogs when they are ill. Original review: Dr. Scott at Crestwood was great. After various visits and tests performed by a number of other vets at different clinics over a period of four months, and thousands of dollars spent, after just one visit to Dr. Scott, he very quickly diagnosed and treated both my dogs. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff and easy to get an appointment fast. I had a fur baby pass away and they were empathetic and treated me good during my whole ordeal. When I picked up his ashes they gave me a nice box with a wooden engraving on it and a keychain with his name on it. I was thankful for their treatment of me when I was going through a hard time.

Fantastic experience: After 10+ years with our previous vet, we made the switch to Crestwood Veterinary Centre, and it was the best decision we could’ve made. The veterinarians here are incredibly passionate and caring. A few years ago, one of our dogs was diagnosed with a spinal condition and temporarily lost the use of her hind legs. Surgery wasn’t an option, but thanks to Dr. Scott’s treatment and rehab therapy with Melissa, she made a full recovery. At 14 years old, she’s acting more like a puppy than a senior! She was also diagnosed with a heart murmur around the same time and has been thriving under Crestwood’s care. We’re confident that with their continued support, she’ll live a long, happy, and healthy life. So grateful to have found this amazing team!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional veterinarian and staff. I took my newly adopted cat to this clinic for her one week wellness check. The veterinarian walked into the office and did not introduce himself to me. He asked why I was at the clinic, I said for the mandatory complimentary wellness check from the Edmonton Humane Society. Veterinarian had odd smirk the whole appointment and didn't really explain any answers to my questions. Made me feel like he did not want to see my cat as this was a complimentary visit. A few weeks later, I called the clinic as I required a veterinary report for air travel. After being on hold for 20 minutes (this is a very busy clinic so understandable), I told the staff that I require a veterinary report for air travel. The staff member said that she doesn't know what I need and to contact the airline and she hung up on me. Long story short, I no longer take my cat to this clinic. Go elsewhere if you want kind, professional care for your pet.

Fantastic experience: After struggling to get the right diagnosis for our beloved pet Mika at several local clinics, we decided to travel 3.5 hours to Crestwood Veterinary Centre in Edmonton. It was the best decision—we finally got the compassionate care and accurate diagnosis we had been searching for. Unfortunately, Mika had aggressive bone cancer. We felt a relief to know what are we dealing with and that we could have the proper care and treatment to give to our beloved pet on her last days. The kindness of the staff didn’t stop there—weeks later, we received a thoughtful sympathy card, showing just how much they truly care. Fantastic experience: Amazing service. Had to call for my dog, got an appointment right away and the staff was amazing. Receptionist was so helpful and understanding during the call. The vet was very professional and kind, really lowered my stress levels. He was super good with my dog. Overall an amazing visit, other than that it was a visit.

Positive experience: Got my indoor female cat fixed here, 4 years ago? When she was a kitten as soon as was allowed. I don't think they did a good job as she still acts like she's in heat putting her head down and butt up when simply touched anywhere like her head and always trying to escape to get out running to the alley to find another cat or just staring out the window looking for another cat when she can't get out. When ppl meet her they think she's not fixed at all and is in heat. I got my other cat fixed at the SPCA and they just act normal.

Fantastic experience: Forever my favourite veterinary clinic! This business was recommended to me after I struggled for years to find a vet that not only made me feel welcome, but empowered me with education to make a knowledgable decision for my pet. My German Shepherd, Sherman, has been seen multiple times now and I have nothing but positive things to say. The prices are extremely fair, especially for the high quality care your pet will be receiving. Dr. Duperreault is a fantastic vet who I trust completely. She made Sherman and I feel extremely comfortable, and provided me with unbiased options when it came to Sherman's care. My dog can be quite shy and awkward, but the amount of time she took to allow him to warm up was unlike any other clinic I've been to. The techs, kennel staff, and front end ladies made my experience extremely enjoyable; they treated my dog as if he was their own which truly warmed my heart. There's a reason why this clinic has so many rave reviews and I'm so glad I got to experience it firsthand!

Fantastic experience: Been a great and consistent vet since I moved to Edmonton with my 2 dogs. I've seen multiple of their doctors and have always had a good experience.

Negative experience: Just went in today for my first visit ever to this clinic. Waited almost 45 mins to be seen. The only good part about that visit was the doctor’s information on pugs. Staff at front desk was mediocre at best. Argued with me about when my appointment time was supposed to be. The dr took my dog into the back for vaccination and nail trim after he informed me on pugs. A woman came back dropped my dog off with a bloody cut paw said have a good day. Left there waiting another forty minutes for the dewormer or to be told to go to the front and pay. I finally just left the room and asked to pay and asked for the dewormer and vaccination certificate. Will not be following up with them. An hour and a half of sitting around with nobody actually being attentive or prompt about anything.

Fantastic experience: I took my girl in to get spayed. I mentioned that I lost my last dog due to surgery at a different office. They took extra special care of her and I could tell it was the same care if it was their own pet. Great experience

Negative experience: I would advise against purchasing dog food from here unless it’s your veterinarian clinic. A couple of weeks ago, I bought dog food for my dog, and I was informed that if my dog had any issues with it, I could return it within 30 days. Unfortunately, my dog became sick from the food, so I went to return it with the receipt. However, I was told that unless this was my veterinarian office, I couldn’t return it. The staff mentioned that they had so many new employees who weren’t clear on the return policies. After some back and forth, they did issue a refund, but I left feeling very dissatisfied. If I had known about the return restrictions, I wouldn’t have purchased the extra-large bag, especially since the salesperson assured me it could be returned if it didn’t work for my dog, who has liver disease.

Fantastic experience: Those people are just WOW!. Here is my story. One year ago my dog started limping after a long swimming time. I saw a vet in meadowlake and they took x-ray. To take the x- ray, they had to sedated my dog. Then after examination, the diagnosis was not conclusive and they prescribed gabapentin for life time. They also sedated my dog way too much. After a week I decided to go to edmonton to see a dog chiropractor. (I travel from cold lake to edmonton 3 1/2 hours drive one way). The reason why I drove so far is that 4 years ago, my dog had an urinatis infection and the vet in cold lake charged us $500 (examination, ultrasound and medication) that is a rip off!. Anyways, now you know why I am willing to drive to the city. After seeing the dog chiropractor, she told me that my dog have a tear in her knee ligament. She reference me to Cresswood Vet clinic. She gave them a call and explain to them that I was from cold lake. They accepted to see me in the afternoon. When I walked in, they received me with respect and dignity. Dr Todd looked at the X-rays from Meadow lake clinic and smiles. He said: that is why they couldn't make a diagnosis, the x rays are too dark. We can not see soft tissues. He touched my shoulder and said, don't be worried, I will make new x rays "at no charges" and we won't need to sedated your dog. NO NEED FOR THIS. Wow. He finally came with a diagnosis (tear in the ligament). They prescribed me anti inflammatory and told me that if she doesn't get better after 1 month, surgery might be necessary. They also suggested me to use a brace and a lot of rest. Ho I forgot to mention that the dog is 10 years old, chocolate Labrador) Mika is doing better now. But what amaze me the most about Dr Todd, is that 1 week ago, my dog had a ear infection. I did not wanted to end up with a $500 bill like the vet here in cold lake charged me before for a simple urinary track infection. I emailed Dr Todd with a description of the symptoms and pictures. He told me to clean Mika's ear with 50/50 vinegar and water for a entire week. They also told me that they could email a prescription to the vet or human clinic. So far they did not even charged me a penny. Bottom of the story, Cresswood vet clinic care about you, they are real passionate about animals. They are not after your money when it is time to treat your love animal. Obviously, they have bills to pay. I HIGHLY recommend them. I am not a review writer but like you can see, I took time to write because I beleive that everyone should be treated the same way.

Fantastic experience: Can honestly say that I am so blown away by my experience at Crestwood Vet. We were suggested this facility in particular for their CT imaging services, which we needed for our dog, Wallace. I was nervous bringing him in as he is dog reactive and can be tough to control when other animals are around, but when I expressed my concerns to the team of staff they were so quick to accommodate us. Not only were we assured that Wallace would be taken to a private space to recover, but the clinic even called us and asked if we wanted to be with him in a private room as he woke up. I also asked the vet techs if they could apply a paw balm and wipe out his ears while he was sedated (he’s squirmy at home and I needed to really take advantage of this opportunity), which they were happy to do for us. As if this weren’t enough of a reason to give Crestwood five stars, when my key fob to my car stopped working and I had no way to get into my vehicle after Wallace’s procedure, one of the Vet Techs literally unscrewed her OWN key fob to test out her batteries in mine. Truly the amount of hospitality and genuine kindness I experienced was so refreshing. Your team should be so proud of themselves!!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. I recommend them to everyone I know with furry friends. The front reception is so kind, friendly and do everything they can to cater to your pets needs in a timely manner. The doctors are also amazing. When your animal comes home and has no issues or anxiety you know the people care very much about your animals wellbeing. I've had some really negative experiences with my cats coming home from the vet (different place) completely traumatized. And this was not the case. Fantastic experience: I like this clinic cuz I really felt as if the staff cared about my pet. They were really flexible and accommodating with the restrictions of my situation, disabled and husband away for work often. They had the wisdom of pet owners that complimented their clinical knowledge, and I felt I was getting really good care and understanding. The prices were standard, everything was listed and clear on my paperwork, and I didn't feel pressured to spend extra money on things that weren't important to me. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: I had a healthy cat who reacted to some canned cat food, so after being treated at this vet. his gut flora was completely destroyed, he had an allergic reaction to the last antibiotic, he was sneezing constantly his face and eyes got very swollen that his ear drum got punctured from the pressure, he could hardly walk, and when I stated that he had allergic reaction to the antibiotic they denied it and said to continue the antibiotic, which I did not, and they wanted to do all these invasive procedures, I took him to another vet. who confirmed that he had a severe reaction to the antibiotic, so if you have a healthy cat and you want his gut flora completely destroyed take your cat to this vet. So my cat's gut flora never could recover and all the other side effects from the last antibiotic they gave him eventually he died.

My dog accidentally impaled himself with a large branch this morning at Buena Vista dog park whilst playing in the forested area. I rushed him through to Crestwood and they were fantastic. Fantastic experience: We have been going to Crestwood Vet for years, my grandparents pets, my parents pets, and now mine. My dog is alllways getting hurt or eating something she shouldn't, and they have always been so helpful, compassionate, and always willing to get us in right away if needed. I trust them fully, and they give me different options sometimes, and also tell me what she doesn't need now that she's older. We've been to numerous vets there, most recently Dr. Pellegrino, she is amazing! We laugh now when my dog comes in for something else! Fantastic experience: My Kit Kat of 15 years declined over a weekend. Called Crestwood Vet on Monday morning they and took him in. Dr Mary and her staff were very compassionate. Mary gave me a big hug that I will always remember.

Fantastic experience: Been bringing my girl here for 5+ years. The staff is always great. This past weekend we had two trips to the emerg vet with my girl. Unfortunately her illness presented as esophagitis and gastroenteritis. After two days of meds blood work and x ray she actually seemed to be getting worse. She completely stopped eating and drinking. I immediately called CRESTWOOD! The Ladies at CRESTWOOD got me in for an appt on Monday. Dr Scott was amazing so personable. He told me right away that he would have treated her the same way as Vet ER did but taking another look at her bloodwork he saw something that made him do a fecal smear. Sure enough my Girl had a bacterial infection. Two antibiotics and many assurances later we were sent home. By the next morning (just one dose of each antibiotic) she was back to eating a little bit and drinking. By this morning she is back to eating normal amounts of a bland diet (till her antibiotics are done) and drinking water. She has even started playing and snuggling again. I cannot thank everyone at CRESTWOOD enough! I refer your office as much as I can especially to all my fellow Frenchie parents!! This office is hands down the best!!

Fantastic experience: Our dog Sashi has been under Dr. Scott's care from day one and I have to say, this doctor is the very best. He is so knowlegable and bang on every time. You won't know how good he is until you're forced to see someone else and they won't be able to get to the root of the problem as quickly or even ever. Crestwood Veterinary Centre is an excellent clinic and all the support staff are friendly and professional. Dr. Doug Heff is our back up at Crestwood Vet and he is exceptional as well. I highly recommend Crestwood Veterinary Centre for your fur babies.

Fantastic experience: My dog started sneezing uncontrollably and blood coming out one evening all of a sudden so I rushed her to the nearest open vet which was Rosslyn. They advised me she needed a scope and flush so in the morning I phoned my regular vet who does not have a scope. FYI if this ever happens to your dog and they need a scope (or if they ingest an object and need a scope) what I have learned is that very few vet clinics have a scope. The emergency clinics all do but they quoted me outrageous costs. $6500-7500 is what guardian emergency quoted me plus couldn’t do it right away, boreal quoted me $3000 and up and couldn’t do it till next day, and pulse didn’t even quote me because they didn’t have anyone that could do it until the following week. By some act of god when I was frantically calling every clinic in the city to see if they could do a scope someone told me to try Crestwood vet and sure enough Crestwood got me in asap and the whole bill was $950. The vet tech I initially spoke to Billie was really great, very patiently and knowledgeable answered my questions which was probably no small feat because I was an absolute emotional wreck and hadn’t slept in 24 hours and at that point had wasted time going to Pulse emergency vet who said they could do the scope on the phone but when I got there and after waiting two hours said they couldn’t do the scope till next week, plus had called probably 20 different clinics in edmonton area trying to find someone that could do the scope, all while watching my poor dog just be in pain. . At the clinic the vet was Erica (sorry can’t remember her last name ) who was also great. They phoned me as soon as the procedure was done to let me know they did in fact find a big piece of grass and that my dog was ok. I can’t even describe how relieved I was to have found someone to do the procedure before the weekend as my dog was just really uncomfortable and in pain I felt so bad for her and was worried about her having to wait till Monday. Not to mention that coming to Crestwood literally saved me thousands of dollars. Thank you Crestwood!

Fantastic experience: Our dog Eddie was diagnosed with a torn ACL just before we left for vacation ... he was prescribed Metacam for his discomfort with a surgical repair to be done when we returned home. While we were away, we were running out of Metacam and contacted Crestwood to see what could be done. They bent over backwards to ensure that Eddie didn't run out, arranging to FedEx a new supply to us in Victoria. Thanks to their caring staff and the combined efforts of a number of people in the office, Eddie was able to continue to enjoy his holiday with as little discomfort as possible. The Crestwood Veterinary Clinic truly cares about the pets that they look after and do all they can to help both the animals and their owners. Fantastic experience: Crestwood has done an amazing job helping me with the health of my 2 cats. Been going there for almost 3 years already!

Negative experience: Was given false hope for my cats life to perform treatment and ended up having to put her down the same day. I asked multiple times for original ink pawprints to be done before cremation, which were never done. I was met with the horrible reply that will always haunt me “I don’t know what you want me to do about it”. Get better employees Crestwood.

Jenna, who took care of Powgie and did a fantastic job she even called to check in today. I highly recommend Crestwood Vet Clinic for their excellent service, especially if you want a great experience like mine.

Fantastic experience: We took our dog Kiro to Dr.Doug Hefelfinger and we are so happy to have found an amazing veterinarian to take him to! He gives expert advice and helped guide us on the best treatments to get done for him,(vaccines, teeth cleaning) it is good to have a professional that cares what is best for the animal they’re treating. The front desk management is well organized, professional and are well versed with any questions I had. Now we know where to bring our pup for any veterinary care!

Fantastic experience: Best vet in Edmonton! Our Border Collie had terminal cancer, and the staff at Crestwood were very kind and compassionate for the last month up until Stella's passing. Crestwood did their best to help Stella stay comfortable over the holidays, and we were able to enjoy one last Christmas with her.

Negative experience: After going to Crestwood for probably 40 years we had to make a change two years ago. Dr. Mary and Dr. Doug are amazing vets, we could no longer get an appointment with Dr Mary, she was always the Vet we saw unless an emergency situation. After constantly being put on hold for much too long it was time to move on. We have found an amazing vet in West Edmonton and are also totally impressed with Wellness Home vets that come to our home for a very reasonable price. Sometimes you just have to move on. I told them I was not returning and received a nasty letter from Pat telling me I could not return. We requested our pets files and of course someone missed e mailing the most important one. We finally got the history for our girl. Not long before we left, I went in to put my cat down and as I was walking out the young front end staff were yelling at me to stop and pay. I have always paid when I get my furbabies ashes back. I adopted a senior rescue female that was spayed there when she was in heat. She was bleeding when I got her home the Rescue contacted Crestwood but would not look at her again. So we found a new vet and have been very happy since. This will probably be deleted.

Fantastic experience: I have brought dogs to Crestwood for years. I was recommended to come here by a friend and they certainly gave me great advice. I always feel listened to, supported, and given solid information to make the best decisions for my pets. Crestwood offers both a generalist practice, but also vets with amazing specialized for those more rare situations. Its absolutely worth my time to drive to their clinic as I know my dogs area always going to receive great care.

Fantastic experience: Never had a bad experience here, from our elder boy to a new puppy. They are amazing and work well with you when your new puppy is very shy and timid.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Melissa for my dog's rehab for a few months and my only regret is that we didn't start sooner. I've already noticed improvements in my dog's strength and mobility and I'm hopeful we'll continue to make progress with time. Melissa is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and caring. She always takes the time to answer all of my questions and makes sure my pup is happy. The receptionists are all truly exceptional and make sure we're in and out in the safest, quickest way possible. My pup loves the folks at Crestwood and I'm glad we finally have some direction and guidance on how to treat her recovery and injury

Fantastic experience: We are so immensely grateful for Crestwood Vet Centre, in particular Dr. Doug (although of course I have never had a bad experience with any of the vet techs or reception!). They receive the BEST care and I honestly cannot give enough praise for their services. We have gone to multiple other vet clinics until we found Crestwood, and I feel very lucky to be able to bring my babies here. You can tell that Dr. Doug does his job because he truly cares about the welfare of our pets. Thank you for all that you do, everyone.

Negative experience: I find it humorous that Leanna got a block of clients to sing her praises. I terminated my connection with Crestwood when I lost trust in her due to deliberate misleading information and her lack of cooperation. Interestingly, the Synbiotics Certificate she obtained is now outdated as the Synbiotics Corporation of California was bought out by Pfizer in December of 2010, who divested it as Zoetis in 2013. My most recent litter was conceived using a 117 million dose, with the full cooperation of my Red Deer reproduction clinic, where, at my suggestion, a TransCervical Insemination was done without progesterone testing, in a spacious room, using the new, immediately instilled thawed dose protocol. I selected the date based on observations of my females swelling and shrinkage. I certainly understand that clients that have had a pleasant and positive experience with Leanna are sticking with her. In response to my reproductive prices request I was told that I would not be provided with any services. The email was ended mockingly with Have A Great Day. Incredibly crass for a profession that claims to hold themselves to a higher standard, so are self regulating. I am fully aware that a business may refuse services, but I was asking for prices, not services, for comparing a number of reproduction clinics. The NDP legislated veterinary clinics to provide a fee list. The vet association countered by saying the public only had to ask for prices. I never received the requested pricing. I feel the response I received goes back to my criticism of the tech for refusing my request for an additional progesterone test during my dogs heat, and more recently for the clinics undue care and attention for posting wrong progesterone timing on their website. It is my opinion that all the knowledge and certificates in the world are of no use if you allow arrogance and power trips to make you to lose your focus. All other reproduction clinics I contacted supplied pricing, including another clinic that I had also criticized.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. My husband and I had to put my best friend down a few months ago and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. A couple weeks later I received a card in the mail with all the staffs hand written names with their condolences as well as my dogs paw prints which I never even asked for. This clinic made me feel like I was so much more than just bringing my dog to a doctors visit and I look forward to bringing my future pet here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Fantastic experience: We've been with Crestwood Vet for 15 years with our dog and 2 cats. Their staff have always been incredibly kind, respectful and knowledgeable. Dr. Doug was particularly supportive as our pets aged and we're so thankful he was there to help us make important decisions for our beloved pets.

Fantastic experience: Dr Todd. Dr Andrea and Dr Steve Jayla and the entire staff are the best people in the world. They took care of my baby durning a surgery and made sure she was ok for me. They care so much about our pets and it shows that they are clearly the number one choice for any animal parent in the city. The whole team is so so amazing!!!

Negative experience: Went here to have my pet vaccinated with Anti - Rabies, talked to the reception and specified that I will only schedule for anti rabies. On our appointment date, Vet arrived 30 mns late, without confirming, he injected multiple vaccines/vitamins on our pet. We got charged for multiple vaccines/vitamins which we did not asked. No problem if it was discussed to us at the first place but not.

Fantastic experience: After talking to several clinics, we chose Crestwood to address our Grifffon’s CCL rupture, which displayed some unusual indications. Dr. Scott’s examination and diagnosis was thorough and in-depth, followed by an individually-tailored treatment recommendation. Surgery was successful, with 100% recovery and rehabilitation supported by knowledgeable, committed and readily available staff. Fully positive experience, recommended without reservation!

Fantastic experience: Excellent first impression of the clinic, front end staff and Dr. Scott. Our 4-yr-old malti-poo has a worrisome luxating patella. Rather than pushing immediate surgery Dr. Scott prescribed a protocol of anti-inflammatory meds to see if the knee would calm back down. We like that he is not $ driven. We've had our share of dog knee surgeries over the years (5 to date) so we would greatly appreciate avoiding any more 4-legged surgeries if at all possible! One week into the meds and it appears the diagnosis was correct. Dr. Scott was also gentle in his examination of Pippa, personable, forthcoming, and funny! We will definitely go back for all our animal orthopedic needs. Note though, I don't believe they are seeing pets for regular treatment. I left a message about Pippa's knee and got an immediate call back. I was told I was called back because they continue to see pets with orthopedic concerns

Fantastic experience: Dr. Erica is amazing. She takes the time to answer every question very thouroughly. The front desk staff are very busy, but efficient and compassionate. I appreciate the comprehensive documentation the vets keep on my dog so that even if I see a different vet, everyone knows what is going on. I really appreciate the treatment they give my dog. I also know this vet clinic donates a lot of time/treatment/service to rescue organizations. I'm very grateful to them.

Fantastic experience: We love this place. So do our Frenchies. One of them fell in love with the vet and couldn't stop staring at her. The staff are so nice, too. We are grateful to have Crestwood as our veterinary clinic.

Fantastic experience: I can't thank this amazing clinic enough for taking the best care of my sweet- but reactive pup! They go out of their way to make both her and I very comfortable every time we are there. They are very patient, understanding and I feel confident my dog is getting the best treatment possible.

Positive experience: I was mostly happy with my cat's surgery. He's all better now, and there were no problems. When he tore his stitches, I was able to take him back to get restitched, no problems. This would be a 5 star review were it not for two problems I had: 1. They clipped his claws way too short. They didn't have to be so near to the roots. And 2. He had a rash on his back where they shaved him too harshly it seems. It was apparently irritating for him since he would constantly lick his back instead of his scar with his cone off. Those are my only two gripes.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Have helped with with strays and checking for chips/tattoos as well as provided insulin sales for our dog when our regular vet was out. Super clean and well kept office, highly suggest for your fur friends

Fantastic experience: The friendly environment at this clinic is so wonderful. Dr Jennifer Webster has been Gunners chiropractor since he was little. I highly recommend that if you haven't met her yet that you bring your 4 legged family to see her. She is amazing at what she does !

Fantastic experience: this is an amazing place! its vets and staff are so kind and careing! they helped take care of my pet Netherland dwarf bunny Chappy until he passed away peacefully at the incredible age of almost 14! Dr Doug Heffelfinger is an incredible and caring bunny vet who I highly recommend if your a bunny owner! I want to thank him and the clinic for all the care they gave my fur baby boy Chappy, thank you so much for helping him. best bunny clinic! 10/10

Fantastic experience: We have taken our pets here for years. The service is exemplary and our veterinarian is absolutely fantastic. They were very thorough, the place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Can answer all your questions. We took a couple years off from pets but now we have a new one and we didn't even hesitate to come back.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic clinic. My go to clinic for reproductive services for my Dobermans. I drive 3.5 hours one way just to access Crestwood’s reproductive services. Leanna is top notch - professional, exceptionally knowledgeable and compassionate. Couldn’t ask for better care for my Dobermans.

Fantastic experience: While living in AB we used Crestwood for all our animal needs from regular care to specialized breeding services. Even after we moved to BC we continue to utilize Leanna for breeding services. Can’t recommend them enough! They are worth more than 5 stars

Fantastic experience: This vet clinic has fantastic compassionate staff from the front end reception crew all the way thru to the back end kennel Attendants. We have dealt mainly witha Leanna for breeding of our Bernese Mountain Dogs and she has been a fantastic sounding board, a supportive fellow breeder, and a helpful sounding board. She always has helpful knowledgeable advice. Our dogs, esp our big boy Bruin, love Leannea and are very comfortable with her and happy to be at the clinic

Fantastic experience: The crew at Crestwood are like family. They have helped us through both birth and death with our dogs over the years, and always with love and compassion. I cannot recommend Crestwood highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Excellent clinic, they really care about my dogs and give exceptional care. I especially appreciate Leanna who has helped me so much over the years with my breeding program. Her expertise, knowledge and kindness is something I truly appreciate and admire She is a big part of why I have these beautiful dogs (see photos of 3 puppies from our last litter).

Fantastic experience: Update: it took me a while to do an update but we had to say goodbye to our precious girl 5 months ago and as expected Dr. Doug was there for us, his compassion meant so much to us and we know the clinic handled our girl’s remains with the utmost respect, and they gave us time to gather ourselves before having to pay for their services. We now have a foster fail pup (the house was too silent without a dog) and he had his first visit at the clinic today, he did well and he saw Dr. Erika she was very patient with our adolescent trouble maker lol. Crestwood will remain our vet clinic. Crestwood has been our vet clinic on and off for the last 15 years, they have cared for all of our pets at one point or another and when we lost a pet or needed to say goodbye they were compassionate and caring, going so far as to come to our home when it was time to say goodbye on one occasion, about 11 yrs ago I believe and it was Dr. Doug who came out. This time around they are being very patient with this neurotic mama, who has called them multiple times a week to ask questions or advice post surgery and pre chemo. I’m very grateful in particular to Dr.Doug for taking my calls or calling me back and being very patient with me and my drama queen of a pup. I highly recommend this clinic for your pets.

Fantastic experience: Leanna was amazing when I went in to collect both my Rottweilers! She went out of her way to make it work when one of my boys was being difficult! She answered every one of my many questions and replied to emails very timely! Absolutely wonderful experience! I would recommend them again and again!

Fantastic experience: Crestwood has been AMAZING! They got my pups in quick when it was necessary and they were treated with the best of care! Leanne did my OFA health testing X-rays and arranged my other OFA health tests in office on the same day for my Xoloitzcuintli and I cannot say enough about how she handled my xolos. This is a very uncommon breed, unseen breed in Canada and she was fairly knowledgeable about them. She respected any information I had with handling such a primitive breed and asked many questions. Leanne and I have spoken in the past about the reproduction services and she answered any questions I had about their reproductive services with absolute respect and knowledge. She is a real asset to Crestwood and to us ethical breeders! I respect her opinion very much!

Fantastic experience: Leanne don't let anyone get you down. One man who shall not be named, but left a less than positive review, does not know who you are, where you've been or where you come from! He does not understand the complexity of your job and how your day is not all puppies and kittens, love and joy. It is hard work, sadness, joy, pain, overtime, hugs, laughs, clients that yell, pets that bite and so very much more. I have been to see you with my dogs. You were kind, compassionate, caring, warm and it is obvious how much you love what you do. Keep being you. You are an amazing person. Fantastic experience: Nothing but amazing things to say about Crestwood, specifically Leanna. My pug needed entropion surgery and I couldn’t have been more nervous. Leanna called me several times throughout the day to let me know how it went, and how my dog was doing. She is always available for advice, and is a gift to veterinary medicine.
