Fantastic experience: Louise was the first person I talked to when I was stressed and fit me and my cat in on a Saturday at a time that worked for us! Super kind and accommodating in person and over the phone! Dr. Adel was phenomenal ! He was kind and told me more about my cats condition (CKD) than my regular vet, he is thoughtful in his words and practice.

Fantastic experience: I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Tamer and his team at Oxford. Twice now they have come to our home to help us say goodbye to our dogs. Both times they showed us and our dogs unbelievable endless compassion and empathy. They made both our dogs feel comfortable and cared for, and explained every step clearly to us and waited until we were ready. Thank you for the endless empathy you provide all your patients, it's so appreciated.

Fantastic experience: My 15 month old pup likes to eat snow on Jan 18 2026 he went out walking every sidewalk has ice melt I think he ate some of this poisoned snow and wee hours of the morning Jan 19 he got me up wailing vomiting every two hours On Tuesday Jan 20 he went to another vet who gave home anti nausea shot and anti gas he seemed to improve but was not eating or drinking pee was dark on Jan 24 after another nite of no sleep and seeing how much pain he was in I called Oxford Vet they were prompt and concerned did X-rays blood work and provided meds on Sunday he worsened and I got him in at Oxford Vet early Jan 26 after another nite of no sleep Dr Tanner reviewed X-rays and decided 7 days with no food or water was enough he was hospitalized and they flushed his system “Dr Tanner saved Teddys life and mine from the worst 7 days of my life I can’t thank you enough Excellent vet care!Maureen G

Negative experience: On January 7, I brought my German Shepherd to your clinic after observing concerning symptoms, including persistent shivering, heavy panting, and noticeable changes in his behavior that had been present for several days. I clearly explained these symptoms during the visit. The attending veterinarian performed an examination but did not provide detailed feedback and recommended diagnostic imaging, which has been routinely suggested during previous visits. My dog required two rounds of sedation, as he struggled significantly during the procedure. Following the x ray , I was informed that the results indicated a chest infection and was advised that medication would resolve the issue on its own. I was assured that my dog was otherwise fine. The total cost for this visit and treatment was approximately $800. Despite completing the prescribed medication, my dog’s condition did not improve. Within a few days, he again exhibited severe panting, shivering, and abnormal behavior. Concerned for his well-being, I brought him to the veterinary hospital located at 137 Avenue and 159 Street, where I provided the same medical history and symptoms. At that facility, the staff immediately recommended a full-body ultrasound. The results revealed a tumor on my dog’s spleen. I was informed that he had been suffering, and tragically, he passed away later that night. This experience has been deeply distressing. My concern is not related to the cost of care, but rather the apparent lack of thorough investigation, diagnostic accuracy, and urgency during my initial visit. Based on my experience, it felt as though standard procedures were repeatedly recommended without sufficient consideration of my dog’s actual condition. I am extremely disappointed by the level of care provided and believe that a more comprehensive evaluation during the initial visit may have identified the severity of my dog’s condition sooner and we could have taken time off work and sat with him every hour and enjoy what time we had left with him . He could have had a last meal of the foods he’s not allowed to have or a last long walk or swim many things that was missed due to the knowledge from this vet. Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: We brought our senior dog in for an emergency situation. The team at Oxford Animal Hospital brought us in immediately and attended to our dog right away. The team were very caring and we did not feel pressured to proceed with additional medical testing if we chose not to. They took great care of our old girl and we are truly grateful for the excellent care she received.

Our pup has always been anxious with vets until we found this clinic. He loves Dr. Tamer which is so comforting. Great clinic.

Negative experience: While the veterinary doctor here is great, the receptionist at the front desk had such a rude and off-putting attitude to her that I cancelled my appointment and went to a different veterinary office. The doctor there was extremely patient and his receptionist was nothing but smiles, meanwhile, the redhead receptionist this morning looked nothing short of annoyed at our presence. I understand it was early and my cat was upset, but you work at a vet office, this is your job. If an upset cat makes you that annoyed and disinterested maybe consider a different profession. We were not rude or hostile at all, I even apologized for my cat being so vocally upset. Both my sister and I felt the coldness from the receptionist, and felt it was not worth it to come back later for an appointment.

Fantastic experience: Have brought my kitten here twice for routine vaccinations and checkups. Dr's are very nice, calm and informative, gives tips about the care etc of my cat. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: We went to Oxford Animal Hospital as they are aligned with Infinite Woofs - where we got our kitten from. Unfortunately she was a little sick when we got her - NOT Infinite Woofs fault. Fortunately Oxford did a great job and she is now a 100% trouble maker and established herself in her new home. All the staff was welcoming, professional, and passionate about what they do. They treated our kitten with so much care, and their kindness was clear. We felt confident in her care. The Doctor was patient and took time to explain clearly as she answered all our questions. Easy location to access. Lots of free parking. I would highly recommended this business.

Fantastic experience: We could not rave more about this vet clinic. We sadly had to put our dog down today and they were so incredibly kind and gentle with us through the entire process from calling to book the appointment to helping us day of. The vet was phenomenal in making us feel confident that we were making the right decision and his bedside manner was so increbly calming. The girls at the front we're just so kind with us when we were visibly upset it was definitely the kind of energy you would want around you when that time comes. Such a hard day for us but that experience was the best we could have asked for given the situation.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic clinic, we were seen on short notice for a behavior/reactivity issue requiring a medication for challenging situations, staff was excellent very accommodating and understanding of big dog issues, intake was speedy walk in get a weight on the scale zoom into the exam room, doctor was very experienced and knowledgeable, treatment plan was simple and well explained. They will followup in a week and see how we're doing. Thank you, Oxford <3 I wish human healthcare was this excellent.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about how kind, compassionate and helpful this clinic is! Dr. Mahmoud went above and beyond for my Angus when he wasn’t eating and wasn’t himself. Turned out he had a pretty bad infection and I am so glad they got me in as quick as they did! Even when Angus didn’t improve the morning after they got me in right away and gave him IV fluids and meds! He is almost back to his normal self. I am so eternally grateful to Dr. Mahmoud and his staff!

Fantastic experience: Our dog had an accident last summer, we had bad experiences with other vet, then we did a lot of research, asked around, we decided to go to Oxford vet, Dr Tamer is very kind, thoughtful, care, professional. Then not long after, I took my cat there. My cat was on blacklist of a few vets we tried, after my cat’s dr retired, we can’t find any dr who can handle him. My cat was very calm when we brought him in. He usually started screaming when we walked in the exam room in other vets. But he was super chill with Dr. Neven. I still can’t believe, Dr Neven even managed to get blood work done for my “evil”cat. Highly recommended for all pets owners.

Negative experience: We brought our cat to Oxford Medical because he was in pain and had stopped eating and drinking. After paying $95 for an exam, the vet told us he likely just chipped a tooth and was in pain. He recommended painkillers for $45 and mentioned a blood test for $310, but said he didn’t think it was necessary. The very next day, our cat couldn’t even stand up. We rushed him to Mercy Animal Hospital, and within minutes the vet there found his bladder severely blocked and needed emergency surgery right away. The emergency procedure would have cost $5000 (which would need to be done at an 24hr emergency vet), or $2700 at Mercy the next day, but told us our cat likely wouldn’t survive the night. Unfortunately we cannot afford the emergency $5000 surgery and sadly had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize him so he wouldn’t suffer. We are devastated and extremely disappointed in the misdiagnosis at Oxford Medical. If you care about your pet’s life, I highly recommend going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr Tamer is the most wonderful kind hearted soul! He is such a good man, which translates to a wonderful Vet. Truly so happy with our care!!! Love his patience with the animals, and affordable prices. He always goes out of his way to make experience smooth and positive. Fantastic experience: We have been going to Oxford Animal Clinic and Hospital for 5 years when we got our Bernie doodle Sammy. The staff here are phenomenal. We have had Sammy spayed, regular yearly check ups, a minor day surgery for puppy papillomas which was removed and most recently a major surgery for her stomach caused by an obstruction from grass and mud. Not only did they take care of our fur baby, they also took care of us as owners trying to make us feel better and reassuring us through the process by checking in. We would not consider anyone else for our fur baby's care and will remain a long term patient. They are very reasonably priced too. Thank you so much Oxford, from the Yost family.

Fantastic experience: I've brought my new dog here for his vaccinations as well as after his neuter surgery (done elsewhere) when he hadn't had a bowel movement for 4 days. In both instances, there were no issues getting an appointment and all the staff seemed personable and kind. Both vets were very gentle dealing with my dog, but also thorough with discussing everything with me. I appreciated that the clinic even did a follow up call a couple of days after my visit to check in and see if my dog had a bowel movement and if he was doing well. It definitely feels like this clinic cares about the well being of the animals.

Fantastic experience: I won’t speak to much on my situation but I have the most respect for this hospital, treated me fairly everyone cares, they have your animals best interest at heart, and the main vet boy we need more people like him thank you to everyone there, you aloud me to bring home my kitten safe and sound.

Negative experience: Don’t be fooled by the 4.7 stars. We used this vet multiple times for all of our animals. We had taken our dog there for an injury and had to get stitches. After getting home from the stitch removal we realized the wound reopened and was worse. The lady on the phone was very kind and told us to bring him back for the vet to take a look. When we returned to the clinic they brought him to the back and he returned with the vet. The vet instantly started accusing us of not watching our dog and accusing us it was our fault. My wife was visibly upset and crying and the vet continues to tell her that it was her fault for not watching our dog - even though he was wearing a cone and laying in the car. After a few minutes the vet became very aggressive towards us and told us after this we cannot return and that he has 20 years of experience. The second we had questions about what went wrong he began attacking us. He was probably very embarrassed that he wasn’t able to use his 20 years of experience to assist. We called after we left to see what would be different this time as the stitches were removed too early and he started yelling and aggressively said bye and hung up. This is the most unprofessional “professional” I have ever dealt with in ANY place of business I have been too. ZERO sympathy or empathy. And if he’s not making a profit, you will be treated like garbage. If you don’t bow down to his belittling and aggression while you are having a mental breakdown because you’re just worried about your animals, he will cut you off, cut you down, and blame you for being a terrible person. 20 years of experience does not equal expertise. After restitching our dog, the vet was either too embarrassed to come out or wanted to start his weekend. He instead had a vet tech come and talk to us, although she was very nice, they gave us 1/3 of the medications they did last time (kind of an American hospital horror story - help minimally and kick out) Also don’t be fooled by the reply they will probably leave trying to undermine this review, offering a phone call, an empty apology, or trying to explain their aggressive behaviour. It seems they are better at replying to reviews than they are treating animal lovers with respect.

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling treatment from a long-trusted clinic. I’ve been a loyal client at Oxford Vet for over 7 years and never imagined I’d be writing a review like this. We brought our dog in for a laceration repair, paid nearly $1000 for the procedure, and followed their instructions to the letter—including returning a week later for stitch removal. Within an hour of leaving the clinic, the wound reopened. We brought our dog back immediately, worried and looking for help. Instead, the male veterinarian came out with an aggressive, condescending attitude. He instantly blamed us, accusing us of not properly monitoring our dog and insisting we must have let him lick the wound—despite the fact that our dog had his cone on at all times and was closely supervised. When I expressed concern, he snapped that he “won’t tolerate me taking it personally” and told me I was welcome to take my dog elsewhere. This was after I had just paid him $1000 and my dog was now in pain again. Only after insisting he take responsibility did he agree to re-sedate and re-stitch the wound—then told me I would not be welcome back to the clinic. There was no empathy, no reassurance—only arrogance, defensiveness, and blatant disrespect. He even said I was “making a big deal out of nothing,” as if my pet’s ongoing pain was irrelevant. His tone was hostile, and his body language was confrontational, as though daring me to challenge his “20 years of experience.” Sadly, after this experience, I read other reviews and realized I’m far from the first person to be treated this way. Multiple customers have reported this same vet’s aggressive, rude behavior and complete lack of bedside manner. The front desk staff at Oxford have always been wonderful, and my past experiences were positive—but this incident was deeply upsetting and unacceptable. I won’t ever return, and I strongly urge others to read the negative reviews and think twice before trusting this clinic with their beloved pets

Fantastic experience: I love coming here, yes to a vet office haha. Because they make everything stress free, and understand financial hardships when they arose and worked with me. All the workers and Doctors are beyond kind; every single one! For 6+ years, my cats have been seeing Dr. Tamer, who is the most personable, caring and humbled person I know. We are not just a number to him. He's part of my cat's family, and remembers us everytime we see him. Such a wonderful and secure feeling. He's preformed 2 surgery's that went smoothly with fast recoveries. And helped me put one of my cats down, where he sympathetic and let me guide the timing and allowed to to hold my cat through it all. Fantastic experience: The best place to bring your furry friends, Customer service is phenomenal, very educated and informed. A clinic that provides training to up-and-coming technicians or assistance in the field . Camilla and Adana were very informative very kind and helpful! They seem to be a very popular and very busy clinic and I am always gonna bring my animals here because of the honesty I receive with their service. They go above and beyond!

Fantastic experience: Our youngest pup woke up today lethargic and covered in poop and vomit, our normal vet was closed. Oxford Animal Hospital was very accommodating, they got us an appointment within the hour. Staff were very friendly, vet was knowledgeable and ran all the right tests. Now just waiting on recovery for our little boy!

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve been bringing my dog, Chunk, to Oxford Animal Clinic and always had great experiences—until now. I called nearly an hour in advance to have his ear drops faxed to G&E Pharmacy. I was told it would be sent immediately after I paid the $10.50 fee, which I did right away. The pharmacy was closing, so I rushed over, only to find out nothing had been sent. When I called the clinic back, I was connected with Camila. She was rude, dismissive, and made no effort to help. Even though her coworker had already promised the prescription would be sent, Camila refused to do it. The script was already on file—it would’ve taken seconds. But apparently that was too much to ask. Camila made it clear she had no interest in helping me or making things right. She spoke to me like I was a burden, not a paying client. Clearly an animal lover, wants to ensure they get fixed up right away. Thanks to this experience. I won’t be coming back, and I’ll be telling everyone I know about how blown-up and ridiculous this situation was. I’ve worked in customer service for a long time, and I believe the customer is always right—especially when you’re paying the prices they charge. To the rest of the staff: thank you. You’ve been great to Chunk and myself.

Fantastic experience: Took great care of my dog Kewpie! Neutering went smooth, and was able to pick him up in 3 hours! Staff there go WAY BEYOND- my car died, and the staff helped me find jumper cables and helped try to jump my car! (Turns out it was never a battery issue). Fantastic experience: Got my Girl spayed here and the staff was more then understanding about her "issues". She hates strangers, prefers women and has the worst separation anxiety known in existence. She did amazing and her surgery was great. She healed amazingly and they answered all recovery questions I had. 100% recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Back in December 2023, we got the sudden news that our 12 year old dog, Yuna was suffering from an aggressive form of cancer. Dr. Wesam walked us through our options, which ultimately led us to having to put Yuna to sleep. Dr. Wesam was the most amazing vet and was compassionate, empathic and kind throughout the process. We are so grateful and thankful for being able to have her be our vet during this tough time. This review is long overdue, but thank you so much Dr. Wesam and the vet techs for all you did to help us with Yuna. We recommend this vet clinic to anyone! 10/10

Dr. Tamer Mahmoud was a standout—his compassion and expertise were evident from the start. He was so patient, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly and ensuring that I felt confident in the care Paquito was receiving. After 17 years of having cats, I can wholeheartedly say this is the best veterinary experience I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Oxford Animal Hospital to anyone who wants their pets cared for like family.

Negative experience: I brought my seven week old puppy in thinking he had puppy strangles. The vet tech asked me why I thought that and I told her that I had googled a whole bunch of conditions and that’s what I came up with, and I was told not to believe what I research on Google. The vet veterinarian told me that the bump on his side most likely caused a secondary infection. I tried telling her the bump on the side was the last thing to show up. The first was bumps all over his face and his glands swelling. A week later brought him back because he’s getting worse and this time she said that she thinks he has mange, but he doesn’t really look like he has mange. $600 later and I am taking him to the emergency vet where they said he’s got the classic signs of a puppy strangles. If a puppy has mange, they cannot have steroids however, puppy strangles is treated with steroids. And if you google puppy strangles, my puppy looks just like one of the other dogs on there, which is why that’s what I thought it was to begin with.

Positive experience: Unfortunately I won't be returning to this vet clinic. I was in the process of adopting a rescue and they requested all her medical records as her spay scar was infected. While i appreciate the patience while going back and forth with Scars what I don't like is that at that appointment they didn't tell me all her medications weren't up to date. It wasn't until 2 weeks later when I was looking to get her nails trimmed did they inform me that she didn't have rabies, her other shot that needed to be done right away or I'd have to start over, or her worm and flea treatment that needed to be done monthly as she's 3 months. I get that an exam needs to be done but if they had told me when I brought her in for the infection that I should do an exam as her meds weren't up to date I would've done it all than. They know I'm a new puppy owner and that she's a rescue and it turns out she does in fact have worms and while she's not showing symptoms, this could've been resolved 2 weeks ago when I brought her in for the infection. I appreciate the care and friendliness of the staff but these are things I feel I should've been told right away at the first appointment, especially having her medical records on file. You live and learn as a fur parent and I understand that but I really wish, as the ones with alot more knowledge than me on what needs to be done when, that they had informed me about all this the first time she came in to see them. Edit. Thanks for understanding that I wish her medical information had been reviewed at the first appointment so I was aware of future vaccines and meds she needed and when they needed to be done by. As a first time puppy owner this is important information to have for future care just like a person would want from their doctor. Fantastic experience: All the staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Dr. Mahmoud is very attentive and listens intently to whatever you have to say. You can tell his primary concern is the health and wellbeing of your pet rather than profit. I’ve moved around a lot and have had to deal with quite a few vets/clinics, and a lot of the time they rush you in and out, send you for expensive but unnecessary testing, only assist you if you come in but are so overbooked you can’t get in forever… none of that has been the case with Oxford. It is, hands down, my favourite clinic I’ve dealt with.

I've been coming here for a few years now ever since I had a vet emergency and my last vet didn't have availability, Oxford took me in at a moments notice. Dr. Tamer Mahmoud and Dr. Wesam Awadin are very good vets and you can tell they love animals tremendously. I've had such good conversations with them and they are extremely friendly and welcoming. I've gotten all my cats spayed and their shots done here and I plan to continue coming here for their exceptional service.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a vet with great knowledge, compassion and care, I highly recommend Oxford Animal Hospital. When my dog first took ill…. I frantically went to numerous vets throughout the city and surrounding area… but yet, my dog did not seem to get better…. When I finally stumbled across Oxford, It was Oxford that were the ones that correctly…… finally, diagnosed my dog’s condition. Each and every time I bring my dog to Oxford , I find they are extremely caring and very knowledgable and seem to always be able to correctly provide what is needed for my dog’s condition and within no time at all, my dog is healthy and back to normal … I am eternally grateful for the care they’ve shown each and every time I have been there. I have experienced first hand that, they in fact they do go above and beyond what is expected. Since my dog came into my life when he was 2 months old, and is now 5 years old, twice my dog became quite ill, fortunately, with Oxford’s amazing professionalism, compassion and phenomenal care, they proved time and time again their expertise as each and every time my dog is happy, healthy, and whole again. I cannot say enough about Oxford Veterinarians and their staff, but one thing I do know, is that I no longer need to look any further for another Vet.

Fantastic experience: Dr Wasam was a blessing. My dog was making a high pitched wheezing noise the last few days and I thought he had a collapsed trachea or asthma, my mind started going in 100 different directions not good as I have lost a dog before. My dog in now 1 1/2 yrs old. I got in right away after calling reception. I was Leary that I wasn’t going to get a straight answer and that it would be wish washy and come out with no answers, because that’s how human drs are sometimes, and I didn’t wanna waste money bringing him back again and again. She got straight to the point took an xray his trachea, lungs and heart were normal so it ended up being kennel cough. They gave me an estimate for xray, antibiotics, coughing med and exam before anything. Actually she prescribed everything I had wanted for him I didn’t even have to ask. They gave him liquid antibiotics and liquid cough med because he is the hardest dog to give pills to. They also gave him a complimentary nail trim. They had to put a muzzle because he is not an easy dog to deal with and she got it on in 2 seconds. Dr Wasam was a vet in Egypt and of course when she came to Canada she had to do school all over again. She is really great. Thank You to all staff at Oxford Vet Clinic!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: I don’t know how to express my gratitude to Oxford Animal Hospital, their professional medical staff, veterinary technicians and managerial staff for the level of care they have always provided to my adopted Mastiff. Besides regular annual vet visits, my dog has undergone 2 successful TPLO surgeries and each time, they provided comprehensive instructions on both her surgery and after care protocol. Fantastic experience: My husband and I have an old senior pitbull and he is always spoiled rotten when he come. Dr. Tamer Mahmoud has been our vet for the past 5 years and he has a great bed side manner. You can tell he loves his jon and just wants to make your pet feel better. Today we were helped by his staff Hayley and Tamara and they are rock stars and made our old dog so comfortable that he didn't even notice when he got his blood drawn. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Incredibly happy with the Oxford Animal Hospital, I cannot reccomend it enough! Every occasion I've been in with my dogs has been a great experience, for both them and myself. Dr. Tamer Mahmoud's bedside manner with my dogs was extremely wholesome and gentle, he went into lots of detail about everything he was doing and why, and genuinely put interest into my questions without making me feel judged or dumb for asking them. My small dogs are fairly nervous when going to a vet, but they both leave here with wagging tails so they approve! Fantastic experience: Staff and Dr.Tamer had my cat in for a walk-in appointment within minutes of phone call to the clinic. Provided prompt treatment with antibiotics, and surgery the following day. My cat healed with no complications. Dr.Tamer answered all of my questions clearly; his positive and confident energy relieved any worries I had. Fantastic experience: I'm so happy I found this vet Dr. Tamer is the first vet that actually cared about my fur baby ! I have gone though a lot of vets since my old vet retired. Sadly my 2 yr old maine coon has been poorly for the past year, Dr Tamer didn't just tell me to change her food and hope for the best. He actually took blood, did an u/s and diagnosed her. Put her on a course of medication to rectify the situation. My furbaby is now growing properly. She's gained weight and is looking good.

I’ve been taking my pets(cats&dog) here since they first opened at the previous location and have never had nothing but wonderful experiences with all of the staff. The vets are knowledgeable and take the time to make your pet feel comfortable (if you have an anxious dog like I do you know how crucial that can be when it comes to a trip to the vet).

Fantastic experience: Update: My third cat went for her first routine checkup. She had fun exploring the exam room, lots of good sniffing! My other cat had to visit a couple of days later for an ongoing condition. She is a very timid cat that doesn't like adventures out of the house. Dr Neven did a wonderful job looking after her and keeping her calm and relaxed. They are wonderful with my furry family and are very accommodating. Dr Wesam and Dr Tamer have also looked after my little ones and, along with all of the staff there, really care about animals and I would trust them with my furry family any day.

Fantastic experience: With a houseful of animals, some who are aging and others who need a bit more medical care, we get to see the team at Oxford Animal Hospital quite regularly. Everyone has always made us feel like family, and with some of our visits being heavy with emotion, we have always felt incredibly cared for and supported. Fantastic experience: I can't thank Tamara and Hayley enough. They stayed late so I could pick up meds for my dog Tecc. It really shows how much Oxford cares about their clients because they mentioned they would much rather stay late than Tecc go without his meds. Fantastic experience: We had to take our cat Pluto in since he wasn't feeling well this past Saturday. We called right at 8am, and were able to secure a Saturday appointment with ease. The staff were great. The vet was very knowledgeable and helped us with our issue. We got a courtest check up call to see how Pluto was doing - so I thought I would leave the 5 star review. Not everyone does that. Overall, very satisfied and will return for our vet needs. A+!

Fantastic experience: Oxford animal clinic is actually amazing. I had called around today to find someone willing to get me in last minute for an xray as my puppy slipped on the floor and hurt her leg. Everyone said they were booked and my vet wasn't doing xrays because it's Saturday and they are short staffed. The receptionist was very friendly, understanding and fit me in within 30min of my call and I'd never been here before! Upon entering the clinic was clean smelled great and was bright. The receptionist was friendly in person and got everything set up within minutes to take us to a room. We were then met by Dr. Tamir (I hope I spelled that right) He was friendly and explained everything clearly.They took my puppy back for xrays and within 15min they had an answer! Thankfully no broken bones or avulsion fractures! Dr. Tamir explained the xrays clearly and even sent me a copy! He sent us home with meloxicam for pain control and we were all set! They will even do a follow up call to make sure shes doing better next week. I haven't experienced this level of professionalism from any vet clinic I've ever been to and we will be going back! Very impressed. Thank You!

It's always been quick to be seen and the vets are extremely well versed with their diagnosis of problems.Our dog has never been thrilled with visiting other vets but he's more relaxed being taken to Oxford! Fantastic experience: Best experience ever. We took our kitten “Lulu” to receive its second FRCP vaccine, and since we entered through the door until we left we had nothing to say but great things about the staff and the doctor. Dr. Mahmoud was so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. He took extra care of Lulu, trimmed her nails for us and of course administered the vaccine and added protection against worms and flees. He went above and beyond in explaining things to us about our newly adopted kitten and gave us a lot of useful information and professional advice. I highly recommend Dr. Mahmoud and his super friendly and professional staff to anyone looking for the best care for their pets.

Fantastic experience: I've taken quite a few cats here over the years and the staff has always been nothing but professional, courteous, and friendly. Whether I have been here for end of life care or general check-ups, I have always left completely happy with the care and compassion my pets have received. The staff are more than happy to answer questions even if they seem silly, and actually show you how to take care of your pet (cleaning ears, brushing teeth) so you don't need to solely rely on them. I could go on for days about how great these guys are, so I'll just say, if you're looking for a vet this place is an amazing choice!!

Fantastic experience: I have had many great experiences at this clinic, and the doctors and staff have been very helpful and accommodating when my pets needed urgent treatment. I'm very grateful for this because most clinics can't help right away. They are also very caring and organized. The clinic is very clean and modern.

Fantastic experience: I am out of words on how to express how wonderful the vets and stuff are at this place. My dog got bitten by another dog which irresponsible owner was walking off-leash in an on-leash park that also has kids walking around. It was an awful bite in her back (see photos after her surgeries). I called her vet to ask for an emergency visit - only to be told that it is too late (it happened around 5 pm - and they were closing at 6 pm - and I was about 20 mins away) in the day and they will not get her in because she may require surgery and they don't do things like these so late in the day. While waiting for them to text me info for an Emergency Vet hospital I was also googling for one - when I bumped in the Oxford Vet Hospital. Seeing that they close at 7 pm I give them a call but didn't have many hopes. From the moment I explained to them what happened I rarely saw in my life so much caring, understanding and compassion for me and my dog. They told me to not rush as they will even wait over regular hours if necessary (wasn't the case - but just knowing that; put some part of my mind at rest). She (my dog) wasn't even their patient and still they went above and beyond to help in such awful circumstances. My dog is also 11.5 years old. They tried their best to put my mind at rest that everything will be ok. As, obviously she needed surgery - I was worried sick about how she may handle anesthesia. They made sure to do a full blood panel to be sure that she doesn't have any hidden health issues. And they closely monitor everything from heartbeat to respiration to make sure she is all ok during surgeries. Thanks to dr Tamer and his wife Dr Wissam and all their technicians and receptionists Ella is doing fine. We still need to get her stitches out. But so far the wounds look amazing considering how they were when I brought Ella in. I don't have previous photos as my mind (seeing all the blood and deep gashes) was in how to get her fast to a vet not stay and take photos. But I think is quite obvious from the photos after all the stitching how awful this bite was. I really hate people that believe that their dog is safe and let them off leash in a park full of other people and kids. If there was a smaller dog or one with shorter hair or a kid - this bite would have been fatal. And, of course, I report the incident. But as the breed of the dog was a strange name and didn't have the name of the owner I don't know how much it will help. I just hope that the authorities will investigate the park and put an end to irresponsible owners. Back to Oxford Vet Hospital. It is beyond what the words can describe for the care and compassion these vets and techs and receptionists have. I am moving the files of my pets (I also have a cat) to them and never look back. Being let down in such dire moments is not something I am looking in a vet (or any human being for that matter). They have my heart and my business from now on, for the present pets and any that I may have in the future. I love rescuing animals - only my health is the one holding me back from trying to save and/or help more... Thank you dr Tamer and dr Wissam and all the technicians and receptionists that helped and are helping us through this awful situation. I wish there were more people like you in this world.

Fantastic experience: When my terminally ill cat stopped eating, I needed to rush him into a vet and I was incredibly lucky to have found Oxford Animal Hospital. Dr. Tamer was compassionate and kind, suggesting some tests that pointed to the root of the issue and allowed my cat to come home again with hope that he was going to keep on living quite a while longer. From the front desk to the exam room and all the way around, every part of my experience with Oxford Animal Hospital was amazing and I'm grateful to everyone there. I can't recommend them highly enough.
