Negative experience: Update - I have also emailed this clinic twice (February 24, February 27) and have not been responded to. The team does not value patient care what so ever. Our first visit in 2024 was incredible, however, they’ve gone extremely down hill in their patient care and attitude. The admin team is always rude, and tonight, my dog was vomiting blood and they wouldn’t see her. 0 stars if I could.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. I took my dog in on a Thursday evening, and the technician/vet told us they didn’t find any issues and sent us home with only a shirt and a small cream. Over the weekend, his condition worsened and he developed an infection that should have been identified earlier. If proper care and treatment had been provided during the first visit, this could likely have been prevented. This caused unnecessary suffering for my dog and additional stress and expense for us. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience.

Fantastic experience: As a first-time pet owner, I highly recommend this place! Since getting my puppy, we’ve been coming here, and the team has always been so accommodating and hands-on. They’re very transparent and reasonably priced, which I truly appreciate as a new pet owner. My puppy recently had a procedure, and they made me feel completely comfortable by walking me through the entire process and calling with updates. Although some medications were accidentally left out, someone from the team personally offered to deliver them to my door — talk about amazing service! They also do a follow-up check-up call after every visit, which really shows how much they care. 5/5 experience every time!

Fantastic experience: We are so happy with the care our Chihuahua, Mia, was given during her dental appointment with the staff at Ambleside and with Dr. Gabriel. Her cleaning was done under anesthetic and she was bright & alert when I picked her up. I was concerned that she might need some extractions (She's 9 years old) but after cleaning & some x-rays it was determined that she didn't need any extractions & our final bill was lower than estimated! They gave me great after care instructions, a copy of her pre-anesthesia bloodwork, a copy of the details of what was found on each tooth & a follow-up call the next to day to see how she was doing! I definitely recommend Ambleside Veterinary Clinic to anyone looking for acute or ongoing care for their beloved pets!

Negative experience: They noticed I was panicking my dog wasn’t breathing and crying of pain yet asked to wait. No consolation, no acknowledgement. Stepping out I was crying along with my dog. The treatment inhumane

Fantastic experience: I volunteer with an animal rescue organization as a foster home and Ambleside is one of our partner veterinary offices and the experience I had with Dr. Tony was wonderful. He was kind, thorough, and you could tell he really cared about one of my fosters. Even the front staff we're wonderful, thorough, kind, made you feel taken care of--even over the phone they are patient and don't rush you. You do not feel like you're just a payment and a number at this vet clinic. If I lived closer, I would definitely take my own animal to see Dr. Tony. 10/10 recommend Dr. Tony and Ambleside vet.

Fantastic experience: Dr Tony and the team at Ambleside are nothing short of wonderful. Dr Tony is a gem, you wont find many veterinarians that genuinely care about your pet the way he does. I can't thank Ambleside enough for all they have done over the last year for my baby Chinook, and all of my animals. Knowing your pet is in great hands behind closed doors, is a relief i can't even begin to express. The hugs for my puppy, the kisses for Chinook, this team is simply the best.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff, vet was excellent with my dog. I had initially brought her here because she had a surgery booked through the shelter but we tried some place in our neighbourhood so it would be close - not good, I'd rather have a bit of a drive to make sure she gets good care. Will keep coming here from now on.

Negative experience: Super weird vibes here. I would give negative stars if I could. Our cat had been showing some urinary distress so we decided to take her here so that we could get her checked promptly. They were one of the few clinics open on Sunday. We should have just waited to take her to our own vet as Gabriel Perez was not helpful whatsoever and honestly gave us the heebeejeebees. We didn’t want him treating our girl at all. There was no actual advice given on what we should do for our cat, just given prices for potentials and him promptly leaving the room after charging $80 to stick a Qtip in our cats ear.. Going to the vet is distressing enough without having to navigate weird environments, humans, and sales pitches.

Fantastic experience: Such friendly staff... even as soon as you walking the door. Treated and acknowledging you are there. The vets are awesome and so thorough. They offer different options and suggestions. They care about your pet.

Fantastic experience: Hands down, the best and most trustworthy place to bring your fur baby. Dr Shereen is so wonderful and you can tell she actually cares about your pet. The entire team is phenomenal and so kind and caring. After attempting to go to a couple others when Ambleside was full (rightfully so with how great they are!!) I learned the quick lesson that no other vet compares. Also SO great to find a place that doesn’t nickel and dime you for every unnecessary thing. Cannot recommend enough!!!!❤️

Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t say enough good things about Ambleside Vet Clinic. I’ve had pets my whole life and have often felt taken advantage of by other clinics—but this place has been a total breath of fresh air. I came across a few great reviews and decided to give them a try, and I’m so glad I did. Ambleside has completely changed my experience as a pet owner. I’ve brought three cats here now, and each time they’ve gone above and beyond. From follow-up calls to quickly responding to emails—like when I thought one of my cats had a lip infection, I sent a photo and got a call within a couple of hours to book an appointment—they’ve shown a level of care that’s rare to find. One time, I brought my cat in wearing just his harness and he got spooked by a large dog in the lobby. I was struggling to hold him while trying to pay, and the receptionist kindly offered to hold him for me—such a small gesture but it meant a lot. When one of my cats had a medical emergency, we called and they had a room ready for us within 20 minutes. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to him that day, but the staff were incredibly sensitive, letting us take all the time we needed. They even held the door open for us afterward so we could leave quickly and quietly. Whoever is running this clinic—thank you. You're clearly doing an amazing job training and supporting your staff. It truly shows in every interaction.

Negative experience: We came in with our cat who is having some issues. We waited for 40 minutes after our “appointment” then the vet came in didn’t apologize or anything. They then proceeded to barely stick in a q-tip into our cats ears and then throw them away (we were here for digestive issues). Then he rang up a list of various medications and a few tests that can be ran and left the room. We had to take a look at the list and decide what we wanted to do with zero advice from the doctor. The vet techs were kind and supplied us with way more info and were very helpful. Whoever the male European vet is, is the reason we won’t come back. He was late, didn’t care, gave no advice and then left. Not a chance we will be back. vet did not care at all about us, and even less so about our pet.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shereen is an absolute gem. She’s a straightforward, no-nonsense vet who tells it like it is and treats your pet with the kind of care you’d want for a family member. Dr. Gabriel was extremely patient in listening to the concerns and offering some great solutions while imparting some not so common knowledge about cats. Fantastic experience: My little Buddy, was there for 2 days on IV for pancreatitis. When I met, there were very wonderful and friendly. The vets there are great too, when they thought my little guy might be in a little danger (out of their Capabilitie) they called and advised me to take my dog to my previous Internal Medicine at the 24hr ER vet for further evaluation. Great place to bring your pets!

Fantastic experience: Took my small 14 year old dog for dental work (including extractions) he seemed to pull through well and recovered quickly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very competitive prices as well!

Fantastic experience: After a terrifying experience at a different veterinary clinic, I booked an appointment with Dr. Shereen for a second opinion. From the moment you step in this clinic you are welcomed into a friendly, calm environment. The staff are all incredibly kind and loving towards your pets. Dr. Shereen went above and beyond to make me feel heard, and to make sure my 6yr old doberman got the best care and thorough exam. She is so dedicated that she even called me long after closing hours to give me the good news and bloodwork results for my dog just because she knew how worried I was. They now have a client for life. I will never be taking my pups anywhere else! Thank you again so so much to all of the staff at Ambleside.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I’ve been taking my dogs here for a couple years, sometimes you have to wait longer than your appointment time but it’s because they will take emergencies. I have been on both sides of needing emergencies services from them as well as waiting for an appointment running behind, but it was worth the wait when it does happen. Caring and compassionate staff! Definitely recommend this vet.

Fantastic experience: I have always had nothing but positive experiences with all doctors and staff. They showcase that they truly care about your pet and their wellbeing. For someone that feeds raw to my pets I have never been judged for my choice in their diet like I have been at other clinics. I appreciate how direct Dr. Shereen is and transparent in regards to my pets health. Dr. Gabriel and Dr. Tony are both very welcoming, kind and so gentle with the animals.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Ambleside Vet Clinic and especially Dr. Tony. My cat Lilo is going through some new health issues and Dr.Tony has been nothing but patient, caring, kind and supportive. You can tell he loves animals, he always treats Lilo like his own baby and is so gentle and calm. I trust him and know that he has Lilo’s best interest in mind. Having a sick pet is terrifying but Dr. Tony has made this experience way easier. I will never go anywhere ever again. Fantastic experience: Doctor Shereen founded Ambleside Pet Hospital based on love and genuine care for pets. We had our dog spayed and all medical services there. Our dog has cryptorchidism and the initial quote was $700-1400 CAD, but in the end I was only charged $600 CAD. The price was very reasonable. After the spay, they called me to follow up. This hospital never double charges. For example, if the dog is examined in one area, they will not charge again for the next examination of the same area. Unlike other hospitals, every examination is charged. My dog ​​had a blood test, and both Dr. Sheree’s and her assistant explained the results to me separately, but because there were a lot of medical terms in it, I couldn’t understand it. So I asked Doctor Shereen to write it out for me and send it to my email.This is a very good vet hospital. If not good, why there are so many people go there every day. People are not stupid.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I would like to extend a huge thank you to Ambleside Veterinary Hospital! We returned from a short trip to find that our oldest cat had vomited blood on a few occasions. They stayed open almost an hour after closing to complete a full evaluation of our cat. A diagnosis was determined and we were provided with the necessary medication for our cat, who is doing very well since. They also checked in 24 hours later to ensure our cat was doing better. I highly recommend this hospital for all your pets. Thank you again Dr. Shereen Heneen and your fabulous team!

Fantastic experience: BEST, VET, EVER! I have my dog Thunder for over 5 years and rarely have we had to visit vets and every time it’s always horrible experiences. This time I came back from a holiday and Thunder got into the kitchen garbage and had days of diarrhoea resulting him licking both his thighs excessively and inflamed / infected anal gland. I took him to his original vet only to came back worse after weeks of antibiotic and anti inflammatory. I googled and Ambleside was close up and had amazing reviews so I decided to give it a try and OMG, I will NEVER GO ELSE WHERE ever again. Staffs are friendly, knowledgeable and listen very well. Doctor Shrine (sorry I know I spell her name wrong) was kind, gentle, knowledgeable and knows what she’s doing, and asks many valuable questions and again listen very well. We went on another round of antibiotic and topical cream, during the treatment there was no vomiting or diarrhoea at all so perfect dosage, and I know they were gentle when emptying the gland cuz he did not scream or whine but he was screaming bloody murders at the other clinic. BEST PART IS, they have a FREE TWO WEEK RECHECK for the same issue, they don’t charge you for the visits, only if you need new meds or treatment, I REALLY appreciate it! Now Thunder is just good as new and sleeping relaxing no licking nothing. Thank you all for looking after us so well!!!

Fantastic experience: Love this clinic! They deserve 10 stars! We brought our 7-month-old puppy, Teddy, in for his neuter surgery, and the care he received was exceptional. After the surgery, Teddy wasn’t pooping for a few days, and the clinic went above and beyond by calling us three times over three days to check on him. Their genuine concern meant a lot to us. When we brought him back for a check-up, the vet prescribed some medication to help, and it worked perfectly! Teddy is back to his happy, playful self. This clinic truly loves animals, and their compassion and dedication make them heroes in our eyes. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Sharlene! Our dog loves to see her every time and never nervous to be at the vet. Vet bills are always reasonable too.

Positive experience: Visiting from north side to find a new spot I definitely felt at ease here and felt the staff to be friendly and vets to actually care about the animals coming in. Waiting times can be longer even with an appointment and wouldn't recommend booking on a Sunday as it's very busy. The complimentary follow up was appreciated and it got my dog used to a new setting. Lots of nice treats he liked that too. Vet Tony was very kind with my dog and patient too.

Positive experience: Long over due post for this vet hospital! Dr. Shireen and Dr. Tony were both knowledgeable and treated both our dogs with compassion and friendly vibe. Transferred to this clinic since we moved to Edmonton. Brought my dog who has Cushing's disease for a couple years now for his blood work and physical exam. I was impressed with how Dr Shireen presented us with options and other things to look into my dog's condition. Found that some medications are a couple dollars cheaper when ordered through them and gets received in 2 days. Hooray for that! Giving a 4 star because one staff at the front desk was a bit rude and could use some training in customer service. Not sure if this staff is still working at the clinic as this happened a few months ago. Also, not sure if it's the same staff but we were given wrong instructions on what time to come back for the exam. Good thing that we were doing this procedure for our dog for a while now and aware of the hours. So we asked her to triple check at the back, and true enough we were right on the time to take him back at the clinic. Anyways, I would still recommend this clinic if you are looking one for your pet/s.

Fantastic experience: ** update** Dr. SHEREEN is so amazing , and understanding. Ambleside is thee best! She was able to suggest and give my cat a different Treatment plan - to see if we can get to the bottom of the issue and correct his behavioral issues. I am happy with the outcome, it feels like my concerns were not only heard. But fully understood by Dr. Shereen. Which is a great improvement from our last clinic. Thank you Ambleside! And Dr. S ______________________________________ Went in to book a 2nd opinion for my cat. So far I am really liking the front ladies , they have been really compassionate and are actually listening to me, for once (last couple places don't seem to want to hear my side).. And they're really friendly..got my 1st appt booked. Will update then!

Negative experience: DO NOT ATTEND THIS CLINIC!! sheeran and Tony have mis-diagnosed my dog, not one but twice! They referred us to a cardiologist as an emergency, that in itself is a ton of money but get this.. there was NOTHING wrong with my dogs heart! They lie and don't know anything. These "doctors" need to be shut down. I don't mind spending money on my dog when there is a problem, but when it's an outright lie, they need to be stopped. The customer service of sheeran is disgusting, telling us that she doesn't care about any misdiagnoses of my dog, why would you want a "vet" like that taking care of your dog. Or should I say taking care of your money spending. She said if we mentioned our story online that she was going to sue us..haha can't sue for truth "dr", but we sure can for your lies..and we got the paperwork to prove it. Again..if you want your pets to live and get professional care, do NOT go to ambleside vet. Disgusting, atrocious, liars, they misdiagnose, not once but twice!! Do not go!!!

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience. Do not go here, this clinic only wants to upsell you. They cost me over 1700 dollars in a misdiagnosis of my dogs condition. Told me my dog had fluid on his lungs and that he had CHF, then tried to upsell me on checking his teeth, He was sick for crying out loud. I had to go to a heart specialist. Went to the heart specialist to the tune of 1500 dollars and was told he absolutely does not have fluid on his lungs or CHF. Asked for my money back and the cost of the cardiologist and was told they did nothing wrong and would not give me anything. I told them i will be suing for Malpractice. Then the apparent surgeon (who i'm guessing is the owner) got incredibly rude and said she would sue me back lol. I have the proof and they do not. Do yourself a favor and save your money and your pets life, DO NOT GO HERE!

I figured it's not easy to find a good vet, I live on opposite side of city and I don't mind driving 30+ minutes to Ambleside, whenever needed. Dr. Shereen and Tony are awesome, other stuff as well. If there wasn't help of Dr.Shereen our kitty probably wouldn't be alive today, she was so helpful and supportive about everything. Another thing is they don't care about your money like some other clinics out there, every time I went in there was something that was free of charge! Thank you guys!

Negative experience: I recently had a very disappointing experience at Amleside Hospital that has left me worried about the quality of care provided there. From the beginning, the staff was unfriendly and didn’t show much respect or concern for us or our pet. The atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming, which only added to our discomfort. The way the doctor handled the visit was particularly concerning. Instead of talking to us directly, he had the staff relay information back and forth, which made the process confusing and frustrating. We had to wait while the staff checked with the doctor to answer our questions, and it felt like we were kept out of important decisions about our pet’s care. This indirect communication made it hard for us to trust that our pet was getting the best treatment. What bothered us the most was that it seemed like making money was more important than providing proper care. The doctor suggested a number of treatments that didn’t seem related to the real issue—our cat’s respiratory problem. For example, we were advised to do a cornea test for our cat’s eye, even though we were there for a breathing issue. The medications they prescribed also didn’t make sense; one was for a skin condition, which our cat didn’t have. It felt like these recommendations were more about increasing costs than actually helping our pet. It wasn’t until we went to another vet that we realized how unnecessary and ineffective the treatments and medications from Amleside were. This was really upsetting because our pet didn’t receive the right care when it was needed most. Our experience at Amleside Hospital has left us feeling uneasy and concerned for other pet owners who might trust this place with their pets. Veterinary care should always focus on the health and well-being of animals, but sadly, that wasn’t the case for us at Amleside."

Fantastic experience: We recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our dog down, and the team at Ambleside Veterinary Hospital was incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. The staff showed such compassion and care, not only for our beloved pet but for us as well. Dr. Tony was clearly experienced, providing us with comfort and assurance during a difficult time. We felt that our dog was in the best hands possible, and the kindness we received made a world of difference. Fantastic experience: We brought our little Winston here for cherry eye surgery, Dr. Shereen is amazing. she is passionate and caring. we had concerns about the look of the eye and called, she came in on her day off just to see Winston. No charge. In fact this was inbetween the 1 and 2 week follow-up appt. The whole staff here is amazing. would highly reccomend this place

Fantastic experience: I recently brought my puppy in for his second vaccination and I am delighted to leave a 10/10 rating for the experience. The front desk associate was exceptionally kind and helpful. Dr. Gabriel demonstrated remarkable knowledge and care, even taking the time to ensure that my other puppy at home stays up to date with his vaccinations. The service was outstanding and very much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I’m a vet Assistant and my older dog had quite a scare this afternoon and my clinic wasn’t open. Ambleside thank you so much! They were able to get me in fast and see her right away. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Being in the vet industry myself I just have to say thank you, you guys were amazing and were able to keep me calm while I was very worried. Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with Dr Shereen & the clinic in general. The doctor and staff were very informative. The clinic also followed up with a phone call a few days after my kitten's appointment to check on how he is doing. It really felt like they genuinely cared about the wellbeing of my kitten which is greatly appreciated!

Fantastic experience: From the time I walked into the office until I left I was treated a staff that was kind and treated me and "Maggie" with respect. With all the negative reviews about paid reviews and so, on. Was a little reluctant. But, with no promise or even a mention of giving a review, paid or not. Although, Dr. Shereen Heneen could not provide us with a clear and precise diagnose's for my aging cat. She was pleasant and delightful. Was not gouged with any extra tests as others have stated. Was only charged for what I was quoted with when I got there plus a minimal fee for some antibiotics. Have alway been reluctant to take my pets to Vets but to Ambleside Veterinary Hospital I say well done and thank you. Oh, and one more thing. Thank you to the young lady at the front desk who brought my daughter and I a bottle of water while we waited in the exam room which was far less than a regular dr's office. I will return if needed.

Fantastic experience: My 14-year-old Daisy needed dental surgery and all the staff was incredible. I was kept up to date throughout the day on how she was, and to called the next few days to also check on her. I was also very impressed by the cost, very reasonable for most of her teeth gone. I will continue to bring her here even though we will be moving to the north side.

Fantastic experience: After being to multiple clinics and seeing multiple doctors with my dog, this one stands out as an establishment that values their customer and takes pride in their work. I apologize in advance for the long winded review, however a place like this deserves it and hopefully anyone that is currently having issues with their vet/clinic sees this review and it helps! First and foremost, my dog has a lot of anxiety when going to a clinic and behaves aggressively because of it. This clinic put together a game plan to ease our dog into his room by calling the clinic ahead of time on arrival, clearing the waiting room and having the room ready upon arrival. These are accommodations that were not met at other clinics and one of the biggest battles when taking our dog to get checked out. We had to sedate our dog because of the aggression and anxiety, and this clinic was able to teach us how to calm our dog down during the sedation. Smoothest process we’ve ever had. Lastly, the building is immaculate. Kept very clean, looks very modern, and even had a kennel with a see through glass door for our dog to go to sleep. I am not one to put down other clinics, so I will keep them unnamed in this review, however- at other clinics on multiple occasions, our dog was rushed into crowded waiting rooms, fell asleep on the floor in the room with no blankets during sedation, and we were charged double for the same work we had done at Ambleside. This clinic goes above and beyond, so again I would like to apologize for the long review but it can not be understated how amazing this clinic is.

Fantastic experience: My boy has been going to Ambleside for many years now. We have seen both Dr Shereen and Dr Tony. The team there is absolutely amazing and welcoming, everytime we go in to pick up food or appointments. Dr Tony saved my dogs life in December. They took such amazing care of him and me as I was a mess too. I will never change vets and will always recommend them to anyone. Sarah one of the techs is so incredibly with animals, when we walk in my boy runs right for her. She has a kind heart and always happy to see us. Thank you so much for all the employees at Ambleside for treating us like family.

Fantastic experience: I live north side Edmonton yet I will make the drive to Ambleside any day! These people have treated my cat so well, she purrs around them (that’s a huge compliment!). Elizabeth is amazing at what she does, and you can tell these guys love animals by the way they operate their clinic. The studio is clean and friendly, and their products are amazing! If I could give Ambleside 6 stars I would. 10/10 recommend bringing your critter here!!

Fantastic experience: These people are SO kind, Elizabeth was such a nice vet assistant!!!! And they actually made my anxious dog warm up to them! He actually wagged his tail for strangers! Y'all don't even know how much that means to me!

Fantastic experience: I've gone too a few veterinary clinics over the years, but none have been as welcoming and accommodating as ambleside. Elizabeth and the veterinary assistants at the front are always smiling and ready to answer any questions I may have had, and are some of the best people to have interact with your pets when theyre stressed over a vet visit. The clinics a fair drive from my apartment but because of the services and smiles my animals always get I will never go to another clinic.

Fantastic experience: I wantes write review way before but almost forgot. After couple failed attempts to other vet clinics these people took care about everything we needed. We moved our cat Luigi to Croatia and they did everything we needed for trip, even repeated my paperwork after I made mistake and gave them incorrect forms. Everybody was nice and helpful from front desk to technicians and doctor. Thank you Rebecca for filling those forms twice! Luigi is very happy in Croatia and enjoying sun and outdoor activities at highest. Thank you guys

Positive experience: Best vet experience in Edmonton so far. The vet and techs were extremely helpful and compassionate..thanks for putting up with my tears and taking such good care of my pup! I am SO so thankful. 100% recommend. Edit: I can still recommend this vet, but the experiences have been hit or miss. The vets have mostly been great, as have the vet techs. Front desk can be very helpful, or terrible. I've been hung up on (I'm inclined to believe it was on purpose as she had my file open during our talk and then never called back when the call dropped), I've been promised call-backs to see how my pup is that I never got, I often don't get responses to emails (which I don't send often), when I mentioned something negative about my pup's health after a shot I was spoken to in a condescending tone like am an anti-vaxxer, etc. It's also too bad they ask for 5 stars to get $$ off your invoice. Just feels a bit in bad taste.

Fantastic experience: Dr Shereen & all the staff were absolutely amazing with my Beagle, Hazel, when I brought her in for a last minute appointment today. I was unsure if she had a seizure this morning so I called as her regular vet office was closed, and they took the best care of her! They were so kind and caring of my usual anxious dog, who was (mostly) calm throughout the appointment (other than her X-rays lol).

Fantastic experience: I love this place. Dr. Tony was amazing with my dog when she split her nail, so I decided this was the vet clinic for me. Fast forward, I had to bring my dog in because she was twitching, it was very concerning. Dr Shereen gave us excellent care, she wanted to rule things out before sending my dog for a CT scan and spending unnecessary money. It was a bad ear infection that was cured with antibiotics. These doctors are professional and kind,I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: The staff and Doctors at Ambleside Veterinary Hospital are so attentive and they genuinely listen and are very thorough with their patients. My dog has had the best care with this staff and I highly recommend taking your furry friends to this hospital.

Positive experience: They were very accommodating and took us in at the last minute. Most of the staff was friendly but I did notice a few things I wasn't a fan of such as one of the techs giving a pretty condescending attitude towards a client whose dog pooped when the weight was being taken. The other thing I didn't like was the excessive use of febreeze. Dr. Tony was thorough and gentle with our cat. However, he could not provide us with a proper diagnosis even after an x-ray and a blood test. Overall, it's okay. There are worse clinics out there, and there are also way better ones.

Fantastic experience: This needs to be prefaced with a disclaimer because this vet does NOT deal with exotics and knew just about as much as we did BUT despite all that I can not thank them enough for how we were treated. On Saturday at midnight one of our bunnies went into GI stasis which can kill a bunny in less than 48 hours if untreated, during which I found an abscess below her ear. Our regular vet who deals with bunnies isn’t open on Sundays but we both feared with her age she wouldn’t make it through the day. While I was losing my mind force feeding Critical Care and massaging her tummy my husband called Ambleside since it was one of the only vets open and explained that we didn’t need help with the abscess, we just needed subcutaneous fluids to give her a chance of getting through the day. The receptionist got a green light from the vet and we drove the 30 minutes south to get her in and they took her right as we walked through the door. Although they couldn’t give her any medications they gave her fluids immediately and let us stay in a room with a heating pad. Although she still isn’t feeling 100% she ate for the first time in 16 hours and came home and pooped a little which in bunny terms is the sign between a living bun and a dying bun. If Ambleside wasn’t open Thethuthinnang might not have made it through the day and after dealing with the emergency vets in the past who waited hours on treatment, charged us ridiculous predatory fees with no explanation, and treated us as though our pet was a pest and not a member of our family who lives 8-12 years having a vet who listened to our problems, treated Thethuthinnang like any other pet, and gave us a chance was more than a breath of fresh air. Even though we aren’t quite out of the weeds yet Thethuthinnang has a chance to make it thanks to the wonderful and compassionate team at Ambleside.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my fur babe to ambleside for her many recurrent problems. They always seem to make room for us even when it’s 730pm. I’m very grateful for the front desk staff, the techs, and Dr. Gabriel. They have been the most supportive and have never made me feel like a bad pet parent. Thank you guys for all your hard work.

Our little pup Code absolutely loves visiting them, and we're always so happy with the care we receive during every visit. They really go above and beyond to make us feel taken care of.

Fantastic experience: Ambleside vet has been so helpful at supporting us with both our cat, Milo, and dog, Penny. Despite our animals finding all vets to be scary places, the team here takes the time to go slowly and make them feel as comfortable as possible.
