Expérience fantastique: For those of you who follow my posts, you know that I am the proud parent and adoring fan of cats. Making sure my fur babies are happy and healthy is my primary focus. Luckily for me (and them), we live near the West Brant Animal hospital. I cannot say enough good about this facility and their caring and professional staff. They provide a superior level of care every time I have needed them. On one occasion I had to have one of my babies put down. Suffice it to say, the folks at west brant were very sweet and supportive of me as I cried over the loss of my cat. They treated the whole process with dignity and respect and they went out of their way to empathize with my situation. On another occasion, I tried unsuccessfully to add another cat to my home but it just wasn’t working out. I was panicked that the only solution would be to put the cat down but the folks at west brant helped me find an organization that specializes in re-homing cats thus saving the day. As any pet parent will tell you, pets are like family members and you want only the best for them at all times. For me and my pets, the West Brant Animal Hospital is the place I know is the best for my pets health and happiness.

We talked about finding a new vet, but never did the work to change. Now we have Dr. Adam Campigotto and we couldn't be happier. He is an amazing vet. Not trying to rush an exam or sell you any services, just genuinely cares for your pet .

Expérience fantastique: WBAH took great care of our Zoe for the last 5 years. We started taking her there when she was 10 years old showing some neurological issues. We were referred to a neurologist in Toronto and the care and treatment gave us another 5 years with her. When the time came to say goodbye, WBAH provided us a compassionate environment to say goodbye. Thank you WBAH for the care you have provide her.

Everybody was friendly, everybody was knowledgeable, everybody was willing to take their time with your pet (and you) to answer any query, and listen to any worry or observation of your pet's Behavior since the last visit. The staff is caring, kind, and very willing to share with you the details of why they are doing what they are doing. I have not found a better vet than the area, and I would put this in comparison with the highest level that I've ever had business before I moved to brantford. 100% recommended - Arlo loved them too! Arlo is a 1.5-year Healer/Lab mix, and I look forward to keep bringing him here for every appointment! ( it absolutely helps that they are a convenient walk away from the West Brant area. Your dog will never see a vet visit coming at the end of a great walk! Lol)

Expérience négative: Very cold in the way they approach the care of your animal. They are clearly operating with the agenda of capitalizing on your love of your pet to make a profit. They order tests that are unnecessary but convince you they are needed “to be sure”. They even turn you away if you have not spent money with them in the past year.

Expérience positive: I gave a 10 on how likely I would recommend others, but only giving 4 stars on this review! My only issue was/is I thought I may be a little late and called in, WBAH basically told me If I was over 5 mins I'd be turned away, which I had no problem with that that's totally acceptable. My issue was I was there for over an hr and a half b4 I walked out the door! Mind you they were very friendly and coming into patient waiting room and being very helpful, I just thought it was a little long. Don't get me wrong I'm going back and I hope I'm not there that long but if I am so be it... My bully is already feeling better and that's what matters

Unfortunately we had to put one of our puppers down recently and i was very impressed by their curious service. They explained every step, they were in no rush, and showed an extraordinary amount of compassion during a difficult time.

The Vets, Vet Techs and Office Staff have always been caring, helpful, compassionate, honest, and very professional. We have been to other Vet Hospitals in Brantford but never received the service like we do at West Brant. We trust them completely with our furbabies and would not think about going anywhere else. They are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!

So happy here. =) I went for my first appointment today with my newly adopted cat from the Brant SPCA. I'm new to Brantford and I was nervous about where to take my girl. I made the appointment on a recommendation from a friend who brings their dog to West Brant. I can't say enough nice things about all of the staff and Vet Kevin. I feel like as a cat dad, bringing a new animal to the clinic... I was super apologetic when my super docile and loving cat, attacked him while getting her nails clipped. Everyone was totally understanding and I feel like the experience was harder on me than anything. I don't usually write reviews, but the service I received for my baby girl was exceptional and deserved to be recognized. I'm very proud to say that they are my cat's vet. Thank you West Brant Animal Hospital for an amazing first experience. (I hope my cat never gets sick or hurt) I can't wait to go back though. =)

Expérience positive: My Granddaughter always takes my 6 year old Chihuahua to visit the vet, The vet does what Rito"s visit is for plus what I ask him to check. If I have questions they are answered. The vet. also gives a senior discount which really helps.

Expérience fantastique: I really love going to West Brant Animal Hospital. We have been taking our animals there for years. They are very caring and compassionate when it comes to your animals. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Expérience fantastique: always kind with River. He is a dominant male and sometimes can be a handful. His dew claw had been injured and was extremely painful. After a proper cut that I couldn't do....it now seems to be mending. His allergies also seem to be doing better with the antihistamine he is now receiving. Poor guy. The vet was super kind and knew what he was looking at when I brought River in. The cost was a bit high for me as a senior. There used to be a discount for seniors but seems not anymore. When you need a vet, then you have to pay the price. Our fur buddies are worth it.

I always have so many questions and they will sit on the phone with me and answer everything and reassure me, our vet is so compassionate and caring and genuinely loves our cat Spyro just as much as we do, I’ve never gone to a clinic that loves animals as much as they do. We don’t feel rushed, we don’t feel silly or stupid, we genuinely feel like they care and love him as much as we do. I’ll never stop raving about this place. Expérience fantastique: After West Brant animal hospital changed their staff, everything changed at this vet hospital. The veterinarian is amazing. My little rescue dog absolutely loved her. The girls at the front desk were friendly. I love how the place has been changed around to look so inviting.

Expérience négative: Horrible. They used to have many veterinarians. All the vets must have quit or were let go possibly, and they are down to just one. We took our two dogs this year, as we have been comming to this vet for many years. We have one big and one small dog, took them in for heartworm and flea and tick, the same exact stuff they get each year. We called for an appt and had to wait over a month (due to no staff) and we were charged 850.00 for the treatments listed above. Nothing abnormal or out of the ordinary, my pets weren't even examined. Who cam afford to have dogs anymore, that's crazy Vets used to be passionate about helping keep our pets healthy before the dollar, sadly that no longer is the case.

Expérience négative: Marley has been going since a pup...now 7 yrs old...seems like now there are new faces...he is in need of rabies shots...lipto, over due...usually get a notification, nothing...went for heart worm test...and flea tick...meds, I mention about his shots....earliest appt...Sept....mention...to staff about going to another clinic to get shots sooner...the girl...said ur choice...poor...customer relations...my wife and I are not happy the direction this clinic is going.

Expérience fantastique: We have been going to West Brant Animal Hospital with our dog for over 5 years. The staff as always been welcoming and professional. The clinic manager has personally called us and followed up with medication requests, which has made us feel even more valued than we already did as clients. Furthermore, we have seen a variety of vets at the clinic but most recently have been seeing Dr.Mike. He has been nothing but professional and really has taken the time to follow up and make sure we are understanding the issues that our dog i going through. He takes the time to answer questions and explains the process and next steps thoroughly. Overall, we can’t say enough great things about the clinic.

Expérience fantastique: We have been going here for years for our 2 cats, one of which has a severe, ongoing health problem. The team here (with Dr Butler as our main vet) has been wonderful in helping us diagnose and treat our little guy. The desk staff makes you feel welcome and comfortable, and they encourage you to ask all the questions you want and be involved in your pets care. Other vets we have been to over the years always seemed to get frustrated by this, but here they welcome you wanting to research things yourself and question all you can. Overall it feels like everyone at this clinic truly cares about your animal, and because of that I recommend to everyone.

Expérience négative: We aren't sure what has happened but we have dealt with Dr. Kevin for over 20 years and unfortunately he hasn't cared to call us back. Dr. Mike has been amazing, hence the 2 stars but we are truly hurt. I was once an advocate and sent many clients here but we have been sent in the wrong direction twice now which was costly. Staff said they appreciated how kind I was due to the circumstances. That is our nature. Just wish Dr. Kevin was there for long term clients to step in and help say good bye to loved ones or call when we needed him. Always gave a 5 but not sure what this place is doing now. Left hand needs to read the right.

I took her in for a check up and nail trim, the staff was amazing im sorry I forget your name but the lady that came out to take brandy and my info had a beautiful accent and was very genuine and polite you can tell she really enjoys her job and loves animals. Expérience fantastique: Been taking my "loyal children" (pets - dogs and cats) to West Brant from Hamilton since 2002. Moved to Niagara Falls in 2017 and I still take them to West Brant. It may be a long drive, but, they (my pets) are worth the drive to West Brant. I do this because you can not compare any other clinic or Vet to them because of their professionalism, reliability, value, quality, and, the way they treat your pet and yourself with dignity, respect and genuine concern for all. Can not recommend them enough.

The Dr.s and interns always take their time with me and my Boxer so I feel all my concerns are addressed. Wonderful Clinic!!! September 2020, My female boxer was in distress, it was almost 5 p.m. when I called to see if I could bring her in. Even though they were fully booked, I was told to come and let them know when I got there. Only your pet is aloud into the clinic, everything is talked about from the parking lot on the phone. Due to the Covid. Less than 15 minutes after we arrived, staff came out to take her info and she was then seen by Dr. Hartness. He came outside to the explain what needed to be done. Not long after, my Boxer was returned to me having worst case senarios ruled out. Given meds to calm her down. Dr. Hartness called the next morning to follow up. All is great!! Thank you once again to everyone at the Clinic.....with all that's going on, you are all the absolute best!!

Sadly our Colby passed away in 2019 and we cannot express how much compassion they had for us during this time! They’re very friendly here, and treat my anxious (devil) cat very well when it’s time to get her shots and nails trimmed! although I hear this vet tends to be on the more expensive side, they’ve never once pressured me into unnecessary expenses as I hear other vets do in brantford.

Overlooked many issues in a decade of "service" but this last act of total disregard for my cat and myself finally pushed me to seek another care provider. Clearly, being bought-out by a big corporation lowered their morale and hence, their quality of service. Do yourself and your loved ones a favour and disregard this company as they will surely do to you if given the chance.

(I have been to 2 other vets as well) Dr Jessika has been the primary veterinarian but I have also seen many of the other drs as well. I’ve had nothing but great interactions with everyone! The drs are kind and compassionate and always listen to my concerns with respect. The vet techs give Dottie lots of love during blood draws and health visits. Special thanks to Kate, Leslie and Whitney for being so caring and kind! They always have a smile for us when we come for a visit! The office staff are friendly and welcoming! When it was time for our girl Ginger to cross the rainbow bridge Dr Jessika was incredibly kind and even made a special trip back to the office for us so she could be there with us! This was after she had gone home for the day!

As soon as I brought him in, Cheeto and I got a huge smile and they knew his name right away! Cheeto got so many compliments about his fur, how healthy he is, what a handsome kitty he is, and so much more. I love how they made his appointment as calming and quick as possible asking many important questions. Doctor Mike answered every question I had in so much detail and examples, everything was very clear. Cheeto felt right at home in the office and did not want to leave to go home at the end of his appointment, I almost couldn't believe it. I wish there was a way to give 10 out of 5 stars because they really deserved it! I will be bringing Cheeto here every year for his appointments :)
