Expérience fantastique: Dr. Mor and his staff are extremely kind and empathetic. Dr. Mor always gives you all the information and his suggestions and there's never any sense of pressure or up charging, just the facts and the most reasonable rates on services. I took one of my cats here recently (been here before) due to an emergency concern and they were able to see him same day, and he's doing so much better now. I can't thank them enough for their love and care.

Expérience fantastique: I can’t recommend East London Animal Hospital enough! My dog Mickey is usually very anxious and won’t stay still with anyone, but with Dr. Aman Mor he’s completely calm and comfortable. That alone speaks volumes. The staff are always friendly, reassuring, and give helpful confirmation when I have questions. Unlike other places where I felt pressured or overcharged, this hospital is consistently honest and fair. I feel confident leaving Mickey in their care, knowing he’s treated with patience and compassion. We’re so happy to have finally found a vet we can fully trust!

Expérience fantastique: Our baby cleo was feeling ill and we had to get her seen that day and they said 15 minute wait and our hearts melted Compassionate staff and prescribed her antibiotic and get fluids into her. She is old and she is already feeling better Thank you so much guys

Expérience fantastique: My pet became ill and needed care as soon as possible. The friendly staff took my pet in as quickly as possible. My pets surgery went well and she was well taken care of. Expérience fantastique: This vet is one of the few that doesn't discriminate against dog breed. They are also extremely reasonable in price and will work with you if your animal doesn't do well at vets (muzzling, prescribing anxiety meds, etc.). Appointments are available on short notice. I can see some people complained about the facility - do you want treatment at a reasonable price or do you want a five-star hotel stay? They are no-nonsense and no frills. If you want to be coddled, go somewhere else.

Expérience fantastique: I can’t thank Dr. Nor and his team at East London Animal Hospital enough for the incredible care they gave my dog, Ozzy. He was really sick, and we were so worried — but thanks to their expert treatment and genuine compassion, Ozzy is back to his happy self again. What meant the most to me was how the vet called almost every day to check in on him. That level of dedication and kindness is rare and truly appreciated. It felt like they cared for Ozzy like he was one of their own. If you’re looking for a vet who goes above and beyond, this is the place.

Expérience fantastique: Will highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet! I called to have my cat get updated rabies shot and to get him fixed and they had him in for his shot a few days later and two weeks later they had him back in to get fixed. They were very good about answering any questions I had about the procedure and they took such good care of him while he was there! Thanks again!

Expérience négative: **This happened a few years ago but after seeing some 4 star reviews I believe it needs to be heard again**: I do genuinely believe that the Doctor that works at this hospital has absolutely no clue what he's doing. Ive brought my dog here for the past 4 years, and each appointment I go to I feel like the doctor doesnt care or do anything for my dog. My dog has an extremely terrible eye infection (mind you that it could have been prevented), and yet every time I went here the doctor would just prescribe eye drops. After spending hundreds of dollars on pointless eye drops, I decided to take my dog someplace else. Now that I've been to another doctor for the same issue, my dog has to have surgery to remove one eye. Not only have I had a TERRIBLE experience here but now I have to spend thousands of dollars on something that could have been prevented…. Most importantly my dog has had to go through hell and back. I have heard terrible reviews on this hospital from the internet, and also close family and friends. Please to all the people who are thinking of bringing their pets here, don't. I have a 4ish lb long-haired chihuahua who would/ has NEVER bitten anyone but yet this “doctor” decided to put a muzzle on my dog so tightly not even 1 finger could go in between. Save yourself and your pet the time and exhaustion and go somewhere else. (Also you're very lucky Google only allows me to give you 1 star… you guys surely do not deserve it..

Expérience négative: I am very disgusted with this vet. My cat went in there with something wrong with her tooth. He yanked it out saying it was an absess gave me antibiotics and sent me home almost $700. My cat wasn't getting any better and he prescribed more antibiotics. I took her to real vet and with a very thorough exam he diagnosed her with cancer and that the tumor ate through the supposed bad tooth, her gum,and was working on her face and bottom lip. For this vet not to see this only means one thing he doesn't care about the animals just the money I don't know who replied but it's common for people to have more than one cat her name was Molly and my boyfriend brought her in... a big tabby mostly white with markings u should actually know this as they pulled her medical record from your clinic Don't even go there with Miika. I was issued steroids for Miika she wasn't getting any better so I took her to anther vet and they explained if I kept her on those steroids she for anther month or so she would of needed I sling shots for the rest of her life.

Expérience négative: I had the unfortunate fate of attending this clinic on a Saturday. My usual vet was not open and I was in a panic. My 13 week old puppy had swallowed about 5 inches of raw duck neck whole, I wish I wouldn't have panicked and rather then take her to the only vet I could find open just did some research. Upon arriving the first impression was that the place was rather uncleanly and smelled strongly of animal urine. The vet said oh this is bad as he walked in the room he said she needed a xray right away, a few 100$ and that was done which showed the neck was safely in her stomach and not anywhere in her esophagus, however the vet told me she was in grave danger and it needed to come out. He tried inducing vomitting in her with a medication he tried administering 3 times (upon research and a call to another vet this morning 2 doses is the max they are suppose to give her) she was unable to throw the neck up which turned out to be a good thing because it could have easily caused damage coming up or got lodged in her esophagus. He then told me I needed emergency surgery to remove it which would cost between $4000 to $10000. I told him I couldn't do that and he said my only option was to take her home and there was a small chance she'd pass it, however more then likely it would cause a blockage and I'd have to put her down. I asked if there were any measures I could take to help her digest and pass it and was told no (also wrong). After paying 400$ for nothing i left. Once home i got online and paid to talk to a online emergency vet, I learned that duck necks only have some bone which are super soft and will easily digest on their own, that she would be completely fine, that i could help her with digestion by adding some white bread to help cushion any bones, pumpkin to help keep moisture in her digestive tract and some long walks to help move things along. She has been perfectly normal and fine and it has been almost 72 hours now. This vet either had no clue what he was doing or is money hungry and willing to put a 13 week old puppy threw a completely unnecessary surgery to make a buck. He was cold and very unempathetic, he seen a scared and broken woman he could manipulate for money not a dog in need. I have the feeling this is why they have weekend hours, to take advantage of people with pet emergencies. I'd highly recommend attending the emergency vet on Adelaide if you find your pet in a emergency during off hours yes they are more expensive but I have had my own experience there as well as talked to people that have and they would never put a animal in danger for money. They are honest and they care about your pet

Expérience fantastique: I've been taking my two rescue cats to Dr Mor since I adopted them in 2019, and he always takes good care of them. You can tell he really cares about the animals. I brought one of my boys in today and after getting treatment and medicine at the clinic, he was already back to his own self by the time he got home and wasn't scared at all. The Dr is gentle with my babies. The table was wiped down right before we got in so I know it was clean. And they are always able to book me in fast. Dr Mor is very upfront about the cost of treatments before doing them and doesn't try to push anything unnecessary. I trust him. Seems my cats do too.

Expérience négative: I went here because the reviews were good and the prices fit my budget. But my experience wasnt good. The dr came in and he wasnt super friendly to my cat. Most vets will pet them and do the whole "hi buddy" Thing. Not this guy. Just man handles her, looking her over. There was no vet tech, so he asks me to hold her still. Im not a vet tech, i dont know how to properly hold a cat! I don't know what he was doing but she was screaming (her rear end was sore, so he was doing something there while i had her upper half) she turned to bite him, and got me. Probably wouldng have happened if someone who knew how to hold a cat was doing it. He then reaches his dirty hand (after touching her butt) into the gauze jar. He was rough and not personable at all. We get escorted into the waiting room where there's a guy and his dog, off leash. My cat was in a carrier but still, that shouldnt be allowed. Dogs should be leashed. Then they tell the guy with the dog he can go in the room, the room i just left. Without cleaning it i mean they fixed my cat, sure. But i would have gone somewhere else if id have known it would be like that

Expérience fantastique: I had a last-minute potential dog emergency on a Saturday 30 minutes before closing. No other vets in the city were available - either closed or in process of closing and would not accommodate. As a first timer to the East London Animal Hospital, the kind and friendly receptionist went the distance on the phone to make the doctor available with literally 10 minutes remaining in the day. Upon arrival, I was swiftly brought into the treatment area, filled out a quick information form, and the doctor arrived. With an efficient, kind, and understanding demeanor, I knew my pup was in good hands immediately. I was charged very fairly for the assessment, medication, and some food. Above all, my pup is resting stable and comfortable. Thank-you Dr. Mor and team for 5-star first experience.

Expérience fantastique: We’ve been taking our two dogs here for over 3 years now. The vets and staff here are incredibly understanding and empathetic. They’ve never tried to charge us anything unfairly. They are very well priced but still amazing vets. We have an elderly dog and a young dog, both that have had a few health things come up. We have gone only to this vet and we feel very lucky to have found them. They’ve done 2 procedures on our younger dog which both went great. They are VERY patient and kind to our animals (even though our older dog can be not so nice). They always make room to book us an appointment when we need it. You can be honest with them about what you can/cannot afford and they are incredibly understanding and will try to work within your budget, rather than making suggestions for things you cannot afford (as sadly some places will do). Overall amazing clinic and will not be going anywhere else.

Expérience positive: We have moved from the neighbourhood, and we've tried another service in North London, BUT, Dr. Mor is the best. He knows our old girl and he is kind and gentle with her (all 160 lbs!) His prices are wonderful by comparison, and he has done two of our girl's surgeries, arranging with ortho for her third. He is a caring Vet. Travel a little farther... it's worth it!

Expérience négative: I wish I could give zero stars. Please do not bring your pets here. They may be cost effective but honestly, it will end up costing you so much more than money! They don't really care for the animals here. It's a rush in, rush out scenario for appointments, nothing is explained properly either. I rescued a puppy and brought him here within a week of picking him up. Waited over an hour (I had a scheduled appt as well) but when the Dr came in, he spent less than 5 minutes with him and rushed us out the door. They provided the wrong weight size for NexGaurd for him. They were going to provide the dose for double his size!!!!! Thank goodness they didn't have stock of that size and we noticed this the following day before it was administered to him! Who knows what would have happened. I switched vets immediately after this. 4 weeks later, I had to take him to the new vet because he has not been well. Come to find out he has an infection that should have been caught earlier from the original vet but I guess in the 3 minutes he spent with him, it would be hard to notice anything!!!! Please, please, please......for the health and safety of your animals, please find a better, more caring vet!!!!

Expérience fantastique: East London Animal Hospital is amazing. They helped us out in an emergency when the London Regional Emergency Vet was closed. Had us bring our dog in immediately as they knew it was time sensitive. The whole team was welcoming and so kind to us. It is very unfortunate the London Regional Emergency Vet is closed Saturdays, but we were incredibly grateful for East London Animal Hospital who were extremely accommodating and provided amazing care.

The service is not friendly and my dog was very uncomfortable. Usually he loves going to the vet but he had his ears back and looked uneasy the entire visit. Expérience fantastique: This vet is new to us. I was very pleased with the availability of an appointment which we required urgently (the cat has asthma... figures lol). It was so nice to learn that we can trust this clinic for all of our animals, without having to worry about being assaulted by (what often seems to be) price gouging. Expérience négative: Never hire. Horrible humans. Found a dog on the side of the road. Farm land. Just wanted his nails cut. The receptionistbi s just plain and simple. A horrible horrible human. Could use worst words but will not fall to that level. Made a appt. Vet didn't even get to see the dog. Just wanted his nailed cut. She said no basically NO. Same Vet saw my German Sheppard. I put a muzzle on her. Just incase. she was a rescue. And the vet asked if I wanted her teeth brushed. Places like this. Maybe not the Vet. The receptionist or whatever so called Human. Find another gig. That Human is gross. Should be fired or re Trained Total failure. Zero stars. Horrible humans did I mention that.

Expérience fantastique: Found this vet through a recommendation. Have been bringing my border collie here since I got her at 2 months. She is now 7 months. The vet is very kind and gentle with Keya as are the staff. They have been able to accommodate her with an appt at short notice. Yes, sometimes if an emergency comes in, I may have to wait but then, we wait in human EDs longer when a sicker patient comes. To know that the vet will deal with an emergency right away gives me comfort and confidence that if Keya had an emergency, she would not have to wait for hours. The 15-30 min wait is nothing if someone else's pet needs to be seen right away. I go for a walk in the neighbourhood for that time, and the resident cat keeps us occupied. I live way down in the south end and the drive is far but this vet and his staff are worth keeping!

Expérience fantastique: This is my vet from here on out. I’m July, my cat was very very sick. I didn’t have a vet. I called 15-20 vets to get help. No one would. I called here, they helped me with care, compassion and understanding. I ended up having to put my cat of 13yrs down. My heart broke. They were kind, respectful of my state. So when I randomly found a 5 week old kitten under a car… there was no question as to where I was taking her for treatment. Dr.Aman Mor treated my Luci and had compassion towards my rainbow bridge baby Spencer. I will go here for that for every and any pet I have.

Expérience négative: I brought my dog here multiple times because she kept having reoccurring yeast infections, it started off with one ear and is now in both. We have been dealing with this situation for months, they said to switch her food because it might be due to an allergy and said to wait 3 months to see if it clears up. I believed it would. I cut everything out of her diet. They sent us home without medication for the infection, but gave us some to help the itching and didn’t clean her ears just did a swab to see what it was. I have now taken her to a new vet because my dog is unfortunately still suffering and they said her ear canals are half away closed at this point and if it closes all the way she’ll need surgery. The new vet cleaned her ears, gave us medication and ear drops as well as a steroid needle to reduce swelling. They never provided us with any of this after multiple visits. Makes you almost think they were waiting till the point of surgery! If you care about your animals well being, don’t bring your pets here.

Expérience négative: It saddens me that I have to post this with an unfavorable review. I know of many people that have and currently deal with East London Animal Hospital and generally positive comments. However, if you have to deal with them regarding a cremation, urn and engraving please be aware that not only is your heart broken but so is your bank account. We recently dealt with East London Animal Hospital and they charged $458.00 over and above the euthanasia and office visit. Seriously, $727.72 total. I didn't want to buy a plot, just a small engraved cedar box for ashes for a cat less than 9k. Just a heads up, they will pull on your heart strings and emotions and your hard earned money.

Expérience fantastique: It was time for a new vet. Did some searching and found this place! My dog has been struggling with bacterial infection. Shes been to the vet many times for this in her short live span. This vet listened to me and her story as well had her file. We came up with a GREAT treatment plan for her!! The Vet agreed with.me she meeded more tjen a 2 week fix. I didn't feel judged either! All of the STAFF WERE GREAT!! I also didnt think the bill was bad for everything we did and the meds we got only cost under 700$. I am VERY HAPPY and have found my NEW VET!!!

Expérience négative: I took my cat in for dental cleaning. WITHOUT my permission they removed almost all of her teeth. I still paid for the flat rate of $350 for dental when they removed most of her teeth, again without my permission. They are very rough with the animals. They can get you in fast but I recommend ANYONE else in the city. I will never go back to this vet again, I left in tears from frustration and to see my poor cat.

Expérience fantastique: Omg if your pet needs care, bring it here!!! My 11 yr old chihuahua, Thunder had a bad infection in his mouth and gums. Peridontal disease and was previously on meds for the infection. This time, he was in really bad shape and pawing his mouth anf cheeks as well as crying out in pain anytime he had a drink of water or ate... I was terrified when we brought him here but the vet Dr Mor was AMAZING and gentle with him. He said he could do surgery tge following monday or tuesday but this was on wednesday and there was just no way he could wait. He checked with his assistant and she said he could do it the next day. I asked my mom and dad to brimg him in as I didnt want him to think i brought him to where he was most fearful. His surgery went well ...pulled 16 teeth and we picked him up that evening around 5... he looked horrible for days and even got an eye infection. The vet gave us drops for it. Now, 11 days later, my Thunder is better and more energetic than he ever has been and I am extremely full of gratititude for this vet and the ppl who work next to him! Thank you so much! Honestly, if my dad didnt pay for the surgery, I never couldve done it...thats the only problem. It cost $1500 with antibiotics and surgery and pain meds...$48 for the eye drops!! Its insanely too expensive!

Expérience négative: Just read that this clinic euthanized a dog brought in by someone other than the actual owners!! The clinic did not do their due diligence and just accepted ID from people who didn't own this dog, and now a family has lost its pet. Sickening.

Expérience fantastique: After having tried 4 other vets, I went, here, with a buddy, to take his dog that had been bit by a much larger dog. The people were very compassionate, kind and caring. They listened and gave us great attention. They were very busy but made time for us, when no one else would. Great service.... I should add; these people, at East London, also cost a lot less than what the previous vets wanted to get from us.

Expérience négative: This vet is absolutely disgusting , the vet tech has no idea what he’s doing he killed my puppies doing a c section on my dog, he didn’t have enough staff on hand and only stated that after he did the c section! If you love your animals NEVER BRING THEM HERE , he’s only in it for the money ! Absolutely most traumatizing experience coming here

Expérience fantastique: Late Friday afternoon of a long weekend and they took my very sick cat in for a visit. Very thorough, kind and answered all our questions. Did x-rays, blood work, sedation and treatment. I'm so grateful for Dr. Mor and his sweet staff. They may have just saved my cat's life. Thank you so much.

Expérience négative: DO NOT GO HERE! I made an appointment weeks ago to vaccinate my 9 puppies and was given a quote for the service. When I got there I wanted to confirm prices before the service and was told they cannot give me the service with the quote they provided.I was then told there were no options to service the puppies with that quote. Not only did the vet immediately walk away once I started to cry at the shock of this, all staff and himself, and left me in a room to cry with my dogs. I asked what was possible with what I had budgeted and offered to come back to pay the rest and I was told that they will not help me. I was then left alone where I gathered my puppies and struggled to leave. Truly unprofessional and heartless. These pups were being rehomed this weekend with the new owners expecting them to be vaccinated. Not to mention vets are still incredibly booked out for appt which is why I made the appt weeks ago. So sad that these poor puppies now are not vaccinated and now I’m struggling to find somewhere to do them. Truly heartless and not compassionate. They should not be allowed to service animals as they don’t care for their well-being and now left my animals health at risk. Disgusting, they just let me sit there and cry in a room alone and told me to “calm down”. They know I have 9 puppies and 2 of my dogs that I’ve been caring for since the puppies were born and I am now left in a compromising situation.

Expérience négative: Today we witnessed a dog getting hit by a car and breaking its back leg . The bone was sticking out and the dog’s cry was the most painful we ever heard . The dog was suffering and needed immediate medical treatment with pain killers and the broken leg. We called this place on Saturday eve and were told they cannot help because the dog is not their client . I asked her to consider this situation and help the dog in pain but they choose to stick to their policy of ‘Not our regular customer , not our problem’ I read the other reviews about how caring and compassionate the staff at this clinic is but at the moment when it was really need to save a life they FAILED. I feel sorry to know about your customer policy is so important over helping a dog in pain with a broken and bleeding leg. It is a very cruel policy for being an animal care hospital. Good job.

Expérience négative: My niece brought her frenchie in for a c-section. The vet was not prepared nor was the staff trained or enough staff present. Due his negligence not one puppy survived and he didn’t care to even help with the puppies. This office is only on it for the money. Do not take your animals here it’s not about the animals it is about the money to them.

Expérience fantastique: May 19, 2023 This is a long one but a good one, buckle up. The worst thing happened to me tonight. I was walking my beautiful 16 year baby chihuahua and she was attacked by another dog in my co-op. I rushed to the so-called emergency vet on Adelaide Rd, but they're closed on Fridays and Saturdays, which makes NO BLOODY SENSE, GUVNA. So, I trucked on to the next place that was open after 5pm on a Friday evening of a long weekend, no less. Hamilton Rd Animal Clinic or some such place. The dawgtor there examines my girl, who is bleeding everywhere, all over me, all over her blankets, just everywhere. I'm bawling my eyes out. I'm just a wreck. This guy listens to her lungs, tells me that she has an infection, and that she'll likely die on the operating table while he's putting her back together from the attack. So, I start wailing. But I have to chance it, right? So, I pull it together as much as I can and he gets the bill together and it's gonna be THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!! Now, I love my dog more than I love nearly any other living thing on this earth, but that's a lot. And I'm thinking, doesn't anyone just love animals anymore? They're just out for the money. I leave there and finally head to East London Animal Hospital, where I should have started. I run in there with my bleeding baby in my arms, I'm covered in blood, it look like we've been through a massacre, and I yell "MY BABY WAS ATTACKED AND YOU HAVE TO HELP HER". And the tech showed me straight into an exam room, sent the dawgtor right in, he reassured me that he could help my princess and get her fixed up, that it would NOT cost me a down payment on a dozen eggs, and that she would come out the side. Also, he would treat her lung infection and heart issue on the spot. I don't even get that from my own vet! It ended up being a third of the cost the last place quoted me, my girl was in good hands the entire time, and now she's resting comfortably in her bed. All in all, 10/5 stars. Follow up care promises to be just as wonderful as the emergency surgery was. Would highly recommend. Two paws up!

Expérience négative: We took my sons cat there for an emergency. It had vomited a piece of string and then continued vomiting. Wouldn't eat or drink. They did blood work and x rays which they said would only show anything if he swallowed metal. Gave us the all clear with the two tests they did. Sent us home with a med to stop vomiting and a second one to stimulate appetite. My son just followed the instructions on the packages and couldn't figure out why the cat was sedated all the time. Then he realized that the meds were mislabeled. The one to stimulate appetite was supposed to be given every 3 days but it was actually in the package for the one to stop the nausea which was to be given daily. He called the vet and told them and they denied the error but the error is obvious. He didn't change the labels. A few days later the cat is worse because it was sedated for 3 days and not drinking. Took it to my vet and as soon as we mentioned the string they looked under its tongue and found another one that went down into his digestive tract. Had to take it in for emergency surgery to remove. Waste of the $800 I spent at this vet. Save your money!

Expérience fantastique: Brought my dog Cooper in there earlier today. I was a little stressed out from losing my wallet earlier that day but these guys were extremely accommodating and helpful and even tho i figured out a different way to pay thru my phone they were still going to give my dog everything it needed and let me come back to pay if the phone thing didn't work which was really awesome. Everyone here is REALLY nice and very good at their jobs. I highly recommend these guys.
