Expérience fantastique: The best! Just had dental surgery done on my 13-year-old cat. She gets very anxious at the vet, but they treated her so well and went above and beyond to make sure we were fully set up for her recovery. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend!

I was also fairly overwhelmed with my 5 year old and puppy who refuses to go in the car. Their admin staff, Emily, helped me lure him outside and then even helped me clean up my trunk as puppy had puked on the way to the vet. She went absolutely above and beyond and made our day so much easier. Thank you Emily!!

Expérience fantastique: Our Dog Scout had to undergo a knee surgery for a torn menisucs and torn cruciate ligament. Dr. Curtis was our Vet Surgeon. I am delighted to say that he has made a full recovery. The care and kind hearted staff were all exceptional! We also now get our dogs food from Summerside now as one of the staff members took a significant amount of time going over Scouts Nutruion needs. We can confidently say that without a doubt we would reccomend Summerside!

Expérience fantastique: Staff is very helpful, he even got down on his hands and knees and helped me unscrew my cat carrier when we couldn't get the cat to come out through the door. The vet was very thorough. She spent time providing me with options and explanations and I felt very confident when we left that my cat was going to be fine.

Having had enough with poor service and expensive charges, I've decided to search in Edmonton for a clinic where I would be welcomed with patience and genuine care for my dog. And Summerside has exceeded my expectations. Seriously, they are so accommodating and welcoming. They take time to explain every detail and make sure you leave with no doubts about their care for your pet. We make the 5hour drive just for that excellent/professional service. I would highly recommend!

However, all my experiences with Summerside have been positive. I trust them to take the best care of my cat, they're really easy to contact about concerns and developments, and they don't overcharge for follow-up appointments. Best vet I've seen in Canada.

The staff were great with keeping my unvaccinated puppies away from dog area to prevent them from picking anything up. Supper affordable to get a litter vaccinated. Pups slept all the way home after their appointment.

We adopted our Yorkie, who faced numerous health challenges, and it was the care and dedication of this team that ensured she lived a long, happy, and comfortable life. From her teeth and legs to her overall well-being, they were with us every step of the way. I still treasure a drawing one of the staff made of Lucy during one of her visits. When she passed away at 13 years old, peacefully at her natural time, the clinic sent us a heartfelt card signed by every member of the team, along with paw prints to include with her ashes. Expérience fantastique: Brought my cat in for what ended up being emergency surgery. Never been in before and they had me booked and in the office with in 1.5 hours. Everyone working there was very educated, very polite, and also found space to be comforting and reassuring when I was very concerned for my cats well-being. The confidence of staff and leading Veterinarian was very calming. They were very straight forward about cost and pricing, and the price was very reasonable for it being an emergency, abdominal surgery. Would absolutely recommend taking your animal to their practice for care.

He found him on the ground. It was so sad. Rushed him to Summerside (OUR Vet) and omg... THEY SAVED HIM!!! He is happy healthy and jumping like nothing happened. My last dog had cancer and they cared for him so well, we always felt supported and trusted in the vets here. Front desk is always lovely. I now bring my dog Norman who is a very high strung, anxious, rescue chihuahua for his nail trims. It is the only place I will trust to handle him as everyone is so patient and experienced. We had never been here before but when I was calling around for surgery quotes and found that they had the best pricing in the area, we booked in and I'm so glad we did. We had an amazing experience all around with the front desk ladies helping me out to my car when my hands were full, getting us into the room with no wait time, getting updated from Dr. Lisa as soon as Leonard was out of surgery, and also rinsing his stinky bum off at his gastrotube removal appointment (seriously thank you so much for that lol). I cannot thank you all enough for the help and kindness you gave us this past week!!

Everyone is extremely personable, helpful, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Dr. Lisa is a phenomenal veterinarian. She makes you and your pets feel right at home, She always goes above and beyond to help and accommodate each animal, even in emergency situations. I switched vet clinics for both of my animals (one senior cat and one kitten). Instead of going to a clinic near my home, I drive 25 minutes to the Summerside clinic because they have exceeded my expectations time and time again. I highly recommend this clinic.

Expérience positive: Was able to book a same-day appointment to get my pup's nails trimmed, which was super convenient! Service was fast and inexpensive, which was also nice. I had booked the final evening slot so the clinic would hopefully be less busy and prefaced my visit with the heads up that I was taking my dog to the vet to get her nails trimmed because she's quite anxious and shy, and I figured it would be a better atmosphere than a spa/dog salon. One of the vet techs, while very polite and professional, seemed to not notice my dog's hesitancy to follow her into the back, and continually pulled really hard on her leash, which almost resulted in her slipping from her collar in the waiting room. While I understand that vet clinics have a pretty packed schedule and need to limit their time spent with each animal, I also know from previous vet experiences that my dog is far more willing to follow staff into the back if they just take a moment or two to let her sniff them/get comfortable. Instead of taking a moment to let her sniff, the tech immediately began pulling on her leash to bring her back, and only stopped once I offered to walk a bit of the distance with them. Everyone was super nice and welcoming, but as someone with an anxious dog that already dreads the vet enough, I'm disappointed that a visit for a nail trim ultimately added to her fear. I'm sure dogs with less anxiety would have no issue at all at this clinic, but I'm hesitant to go back because it felt like there weren't adequate supports for dogs that aren't as confident :(

I must say they are very caring and really supportive, my cat had a major operation and is recovering well. The hospital is well equipped, brilliant docs and have a fantastic team. Really impressed especially when i got 2 calls back from them to check on how my cat doing. Definitely recommended.

They care so much about their patients and the office in general is such a friendly place to be. I know my pet is in excellent hands there, and I wouldn’t take her anywhere else!

Expérience fantastique: I’ve taken my 2 cats Charlotte and Wilson here for some time now and they are amazing! Dr Lisa is their vet and she’s so amazing and does everything she can to help. I love that this vet has an app you can download on your phone makes it super convenient for making appointments and picking up medication. Best vet I’ve ever been too!!!
