Bridgwater Veterinary Hospital & Wellness Center: Avis
Expérience fantastique: Feb 16th was a heartbreaking day as we had to say goodbye to our beloved Dodger. The staff was incredibly compassionate and understanding as we dealt with all the emotions one goes through during this time. We also received a sympathy card yesterday with some beautiful, heartfelt words written on the card. Just wanted to thank everyone who was on shift that evening. Your kindness was very much appreciated. This was my first time dealing with Bridgewater and I was very impressed. Would not hesitate to contact/refer them if needed. Deb & Bob Sudoma
Expérience fantastique: The doctors & staff were amazing. I love that they make a plan, share the plan with you, but also show you X-rays and tell you about other tests they do. They also tell you up front the cost of everything they do, and ask if we agree to proceed with tests. Very friendly, they love animals, very professional with all. ❣️I was so impressed!!
Expérience fantastique: The physician and staff were sensitive and professional when my daughter and I brought Indy who had just passed away in the car on the way to the hospital. They communicated clearly and in a caring fashion and helped my daughter and I in those raw moments of initial grief. A heartfelt thank you
Expérience fantastique: This place was so sweet! I've never been here before and went after hours because my dogs leg was so swollen. She's a big shepherd husky and I could barely get her in to take her there They came and helped me carry her inside. I was stressed out myself and wasn't feeling well while I was there. They offered me water numerous times. After diagnosis and medicine, they helped me lift her into my car again. A+ for service, thank you to everyone that was working tonight! Knowledgeable vet too.
Expérience négative: Hands down the worst experience EVERY TIME I come here. They care more about taking your money than your pet . Forever having issues with them . Call them 5+ times for my dogs prescriptions (that he can die without) and everytime no one has any idea what im talking about , my pills are special order and everyone always forgets to order them for me . Last check up they told me it’d be $140 and then afterwards slap me with a $730 bill. Never in my life have I experienced a vet clinic like this , would rather bleed you dry of your money then help your pet. Will never return and will tell everyone to stay clear of this place
Expérience fantastique: We are deeply grateful to the entire team for the kindness, compassion, and professionalism they showed us during one of the hardest moments of our lives. Our dog, Chiz, passed away Thursday midnight, and although the loss was heartbreaking, the care and empathy we received made an unbearable situation a little more peaceful. The staff took the time to explain everything clearly, treated our dog with dignity, and supported us with genuine compassion during such a difficult time. They put us in a private room and we were still able to see our dog one last time to say our goodbyes. We truly appreciate the respect and care they showed our family, and we will always be thankful for the support they gave us.
Expérience négative: I just tried to take my dog in for an ear infection, and the doctor wouldn't even see him. Told me to come back later... I understand that they may have been busy and to them an ear infection may not be dubbed an emergency, and the receptionist said something about triage on the weekends, but I don't understand why they couldn't even come out and take a quick look, even to just assure me it could wait until later or prescribe some medication and send us on our way. The receptionist even told me there was no one else there so I was in luck, then went and spoke to the doctor, then came back and said they couldn't see me and to come back at 9....I feel like that defeats the purpose of a 24 hour walk in vet clinic. I'm left feeling uneasy about leaving my dog home alone in this extreme discomfort now while I work and I feel brushed off completely and that my issue wasn't important enough for them to even look at.
Expérience négative: Wolves in sheep’s clothing This place is criminal - If you want less than quality care, take your pets here. I am beyond appalled by the treatment from the Vets and Vet assistants at Bridgwater - by far the worst experience my dog and I have ever encountered at a Vet Hospital. My dog was in medical distress and all they saw was $$ But shoutout to Benn he is the GOAT Strongly do not recommend based off my dogs and my personal experience - they will take advantage of your situation and exploit you for $$
Expérience négative: I had to take my female Rottweiler to Bridgwater vet on Wednesday night after hours as our regular vet was not open. My male dog was playing with her and ripped the skin on her chest with his tooth and I was in panic mode. I called around 7:30pm, they told me to come in so I drove the 35 minutes to get there. After waiting for what seemed like forever in the car, we finally got called and they put is in a room. I sat in the room with my girl for over an hour and a half and no one had been in to see us yet. I had to poke my head out and tell the girls that she had been bleeding all over herself for the last hour and a half and licking the wound. Finally then a vet came in! They wouldn’t examine her in the room, just saw the wound from afar and the vet immediately got down to cost. “I will be back with your quote” she said and then left again. A vet tech came back and quoted me $1200 to sew a small wound and send her home!!!!!! I refused a ton of the testing they wanted to do as we have a wonderful regular vet that we see for check ups often. I found them to be EXTREMELY judgmental. We are a large family with 3 Rottweilers and have a ton of knowledge about the breed but still felt like I was being talked down to. They eventually came back, muzzled her, sedated her and took her to get stitched up. $820 they charged me for this visit!!!!!!!!! I’ve never been soaked by a vet like this in my life!!! They told me that was a “lower end price.” I was overall not impressed with this visit and will not be back. Came in the early evening, didn’t get home until 1am. There was no one in there when we left and really felt like they ignored us and left us until last because of her breed.
Expérience fantastique: A bit of a sadder review but a wonderful experience. I was sent here from Southglen veterinary as my pup was not doing well, requiring hospitalization & bridgewater is open 24/7. We showed up, got registered, and waited about 2.5 hours. We did arrive at around 6-6:30. I did ask them at the 2 hour mark to do her vitals & assess her as I was worried about her breathing. Unfortunately, I had to put my pup down this visit due to her health. They were SO accommodating & very very helpful. They allowed me to bring my other dog in as well to be with her to say goodbye. (The vet even sat with my pup when I ran out to grab my other dog from the car). They offered us paw prints & a lot of tissues. They lit the candle for us (the one that says please be quiet someone is saying goodbye) & just made the whole sad experience a lot more peaceful. They were very nice & we talked about a lot of different options before I decided the best path for my animal. Including cost, their professional opinion & quality of life. They were very transparent which is appreciated. They also Allowed me to call & talk to my husband regarding her while they were in the room. About 2 weeks after she crossed the rainbow bridge, they sent me a letter in the mail expressing their empathy with handwritten note. That truly made me cry & I felt very appreciative of them. I will definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much for your care and empathy. Also thank you so much to Dr Jill Tait who was our vet. You were so kind to our little pet family. It meant a lot to me as it was almost midnight & I was crying. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Expérience fantastique: I took my sweet boy Leo here on December 22nd after he passed in my arms. We were immediately greeted with care and concern and moved to a private room to discuss options and say goodbye. The lovely woman who helped us (sorry I didn’t catch your name through my tears, red curly hair, a sweetheart) offered condolences, shared our options, and even related to us through her own experience with loss which is so amazing of her to be able to do. She made sure Leo was taken safely to his cremation, offered us hugs, and didn’t rush me when I needed to hold her back to give my boy some last kisses. His remains were ready a day later, and they kept him safe while we figured out how to get there during the holidays. My boy is home safe now, along with a certificate, and a lovely card with a handwritten message from your amazing team. Thankyou for making what has easily been the worst day of my life slightly less horrible with you kindness, care, and community. And though I hope I won’t have to be back anytime soon, I know if I we will be in a safe place with people who love our pets as much as we do. You don’t have an easy job, but you make it easier on us. Thankyou everyone at Bridgewater, happy holidays and happy new years.
Expérience positive: I rarely write reviews, but I thought it important to highlight our experience just on Christmas Eve. We brought our 4 year old cat, Loki, in due to his urinary tract having a severe blockage - something we've never experienced before. We lost his sister last year in the exact same week just before Christmas, so it was a very emotionally difficult day seeing him decline so out of the blue. The overall bill was quite high, and that's really the only complaint I have - for it to be something quite routine for male cats, it was thousands to get the procedure done (not including any possible complications that could come up). Taking him in was stressful, but we had Ben come in to break down all details of his state, pricing, etc., and I cannot emphasize enough how much we appreciated him. We both were grappling with so many aspects of treatment and pricing, and the feeling of not being good enough parents to our little Loki, but Ben only validated us and helped us feel less alone in the situation. My husband and I cannot thank him enough for his empathy and support in the room and we really just wanted to give him a shoutout. Thank you for your kindness towards us and the empathy you gave, Ben! Additionally, the diagnosis went quickly, and options were presented quickly which we did appreciate rather than having to wait for a super long, extended period of time. The person I spoke to on the phone as well was extremely kind and empathetic before we brought him in as well, so we are just so grateful that outside of the pricing, the employees there are very kind people!
Expérience fantastique: On Christmas Day we called the vet to check in with them to see if our dog should seek medical attention after getting a scratch to her face on Christmas Eve. Even though we have never gone to the Bridgewater vet the receptionist Maddy was so helpful in giving us great advice and ensuring that we made a good decision regarding if we should bring our dog in today or not. She was so helpful and really seemed to care about the well being of our dog. People like Maddy are appreciated during this time of year as compassion can sometimes be hard to find. I would highly recommend this vet!
Expérience négative: If I could give no stars I would Worse service and customer service I have ever experienced! Would not bring my beloved pet here
Expérience négative: My mom dropped her dog off for a ct scan at 9:20 with being told it would take about 3 hrs. She came back at 11, they said they didnt have the paper work finished yet. They let her sit there for an hour before telling her at noon that they will start him in 20 min and that he hadnt actuallybeen started. (She also lives out of town) at 1:15 she called again and they said he was next. So she headed to go get him its now. 2:42 and he STILL isn't started. And they said it would be another 3-4 hours. She lives outside of the city and they could've told her this at the beginning of the day!. Her dog with anxiety has now been sitting in a kennel for 6 hrs. With an appointment for 9:20. Absolutely disgusting. And so inconsiderate of people's time. Im absolutely appalled and will be telling everyone single client that sits in my chair this story until im no longer angry about it. Which will more then likely be months. Do better. This is not acceptable. The lack of Communication seems to be a trend reading the other reviews
Expérience fantastique: Dr Karen Choptain was absolutely amazing handling my “old boy” cat Mitsy! (He’s 13 years old and can be cranky!) Her vet tech was amazing as well (sorry didn’t get her name). Would recommend this clinic to anyone. Very caring group of people!
Expérience fantastique: I would like to send my thanks to Dr Fredette and the team at Bridgwater for the prompt, professional and compassionate handling of our emergency situation on Sunday morning. While it was an irreversible situation resulting in the passing of our beloved 13 1/2 year old Labrador Jack - Dr Fredette and the Team from the front desk on responded incredibly well and kept Jack comfortable until the end and were very kind and understanding during our time there. Thank you so much.
Expérience négative: Took our dog in to find out her hip bone is out of place and was told thats she was old and her leg would not heal so they would need to amputate it. Good thing we decided not to go thru with it because a few weeks later she is healed and running. We basically spent like $1500 for them to do nothing and tell us they need more money to amputate. I would give this place a big Zero if we could. This was our first time bringing her here as the vet we usually take her to closed.
Expérience négative: Awful experience. Was told it was an emergent situation and to be taken seriously and bring my puppy in immediately. Upon arrival we were taken into a room immediately and then we stayed there for 2.5 hours without a single check in. My puppy was throwing up continuously and I asked if I could get help cleaning the floor. I was told not to worry about it. I cleaned it as best as I could but it smelled awful. After 1.5 hours I went to see if there were many people ahead of us and was told that if we were in a room it wouldnt be long. Another hour passed and a tech came in to confirm we had not been seen and then told us it would be at least 2 more hours due to an emergency surgery. It was extremely disappointing that in 2.5 hours, we were not offered water, a pee pad or any kind of check in. Very poor service.
Expérience fantastique: The staff at Bridgwater are amazing! Reception and medical staff are always friendly, thorough with their examinations and really take the time to explain medical issues so that you fully understand what is going on with your pets. They always call to follow up with how your pet is doing a few days later too which shows how much they truly care!
Expérience fantastique: Clean, fast, and friendly. The nurse Sarah was wonderful, thorough, and compassionate. The receptionist was friendly and pleasant. The vet was knowledgeable, honest, and fair. I highly recommend them as an emergency veterinarian service.
Expérience fantastique: I just want to give the biggest thank you to Bridgewater staff. Back in May I brought my best friend in and realized he needed surgery or he would need to be put down. 6 months since his surgery and he is doing better than ever he’s down 30lbs and energy is just like that of when he was a puppy. Thank you for taking such good care of Church!
Expérience négative: ****AVOID THIS PLACE*** 0/5 STARS I would not even give them 1 star. Money hungry place. I brought my 6 month old puppy in because he was sick, They didn’t even do a proper exam, no x-rays. They sent me home with medication told my puppy would be okay and if he kept vomiting in 2 days to bring him back. They charged me $540 for exam, consultation and medication, my puppy died 8 hrs later. This place didn't seem concerned about his 3 episodes of blood loss from his rectum. I told them twice, once on phone and once in person. I put my trust in them and got burnt. I am no vet or vet assistant, but it didn’t take me long to research to find out my puppy clearly had a severe case of intestinal worms, the blood loss , pale gums and pale nail beds required a blood transfusion-instead they down played it sent me home thinking everything would be okay if he took his medications. NEVER AGAIN….. will i ever put my trust in a vet. This could have been prevented if his blood loss was looked into better and taken seriously.
Expérience fantastique: I can't say enough good things about the level of service, care and compassion shown at this hospital. We brought our dog in for emergency surgery and while the event was traumatic all of the staff was very caring and helpful. Bringing your pet here is like visiting the Mayo clinic for humans. Amazing amazing amazing care for our beloved fur family. Thank you.
Expérience fantastique: Just took my 6 year old cat to Bridgewater Vet . Two other Veterinarian clinics recommended them. The staff was Amazing!!! Kind, compassionate, caring. Above and beyond. Barb explained everything so I understood what was happening. Dr.Mander was excellent. 5 stars plus!! Thank you❤️ from Jake and family.
Expérience fantastique: I can't tell you how much this place helped out my little cat. They were amazing right from the start. My cat had 2 overnight stay and they let us have visiting hours with her. I'd recommend this animal hospital to everyone. Thanks ♥️ again.
Expérience fantastique: Our golden required major surgery Thurs while visiting in Wpg.Mb.& Bridgwater was highly recommended by our local vet. The staff & Dr Sra were very compassionate, knowledgeable & professional! Consultation, surgery & an UPDATE from Dr. Sra were completed within 5hrs. Open 24 hours allowed us a scheduled visit that evening which was a great comfort. I would highly recommend Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital for all your fur babies!
Expérience fantastique: Really lovely and attentive staff. We were treated with kindness and understanding. Professional and helpful.
Expérience négative: My one pup went to his new home and the new owner contacted me as the dog was not doing okay. As responsible pet owner I met the pups owner at the vet, paid half the bill for the emergency visit and refunded the cost of the pet. Now the staff was friendly and kind. However the vets doctor was rude and belittling. They tested for toxic which all came back negative, she stated she wanted to keep him over night and that bill would have been 2k. We were already at 400$, They didn’t know what was going on. The new owner decided against as she was not expecting 2k bill within 24hrs of getting her dog. She had just booked and prepaid for the pups shots in her home city. This vet then said she was irresponsible owner and should be prepared for this type of cost, they threatened her & myself with send animal protection officer to check in on the pup. Because she refused the hospitalization. Right after she said this to us. In the next room, there was a couple in the same situation as us. Being told the same thing and they declined as well. Same tone and threating behaviour was done. I understand being worried about the wealth fare of an animal. As I have saved many cats & dogs before. It didn’t feel as if she cared about the pets more so the cost it would bring in. They told us he was in worst shape and was sleeping. When we finally got him back he was awake and 50% better from what he brought in feeling. He was 100% back to normal the next day. No APO was sent out to check on him. It was scare tactic and honestly disgusted by this vet. This just proves that didn’t care about the dogs wellbeing and are money hungry. If anyone is looking for a vet who cares about your animal. I recommend niverville or pet vet in steinbach those are my normal vets and they truly care about the work they do
Expérience fantastique: My puppy was evidently not feeling well for two days and after being turned away from her vet as they closed in two hours, I called Bridgewater Vet and they graciously squeezed us into their final appointment of the day (with only an hour notice). From the moment we arrived - the staff, vet assistant and vet were warm, knowledgeable and friendly. As it turns out, my sweet girl had a large tumor and was in excruciating pain. Throughout the whole process, the staff was patient with me, compassionate and understanding. I was there for a little over four hours in total, as part of the time was us waiting for family members to arrive, to say their goodbyes. Instead of making me feel bad, the staff was empathetic and moved me and my puppy to a more comfortable room, brought me water and a phone charger as my phone battery was low. My sweet girls final moments were filled with treats, love and warmth. I honestly cannot thank the staff enough for creating such a warm, compassionate and safe environment for me, my fur baby and our family on such a painful day. It is evident that the staff understands that animals are a part of the family and should recieve all the love and respect they deserve. Thank you truly, from the bottom of my heart.
Expérience fantastique: I brought my cat to Bridgwater Veterinary Hospital because he was lethargic, and I just have to say how amazing the staff were. Tonya at the front desk was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient — she made a really stressful situation so much easier. Kat, the vet assistant, was absolutely wonderful and so informative — honestly, she explained things even better than the vet did and made sure I understood everything going on with my cat. I’m so grateful for both of them for their compassion and care. Thank you for making such a tough visit feel a little lighter!
Expérience fantastique: At the suggestion of my usual vet, I took my 12 week old puppy in to Bridgewater during the evening as an emergency, and was very impressed with the kind and knowledgeable staff and the clean and modern facilities. They saw my pup pretty much immediately, and treated him like a little prince. I had anticipated a pricey bill, but the vet (who was excellent) recommended a less expensive “supportive care” option before moving to X-rays and the kind of treatment I was expecting, resulting in quite a reasonable cost. Fortunately, my pup responded well, and is now back to his usual self. I would not hesitate to recommend Bridgewater to any pet owner, and while I hope never to have another medical emergency for my pup, I would definitely take him back if it were needed again.
Expérience fantastique: My dog had an unexpected seizure early morning. When I called they were more then helpful and understood the stress and emotions on my end of the call. When we got there we werre treated with kindness and you could really feel they want the best for your pet.
Expérience fantastique: Yesterday September 27,2025 We have to bring our cat~SHIRO. We called everywhere if anyone can look after her as it's an emergency. But "ONLY" Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital who said YES. Rain or Raine at the front desk is very friendly and accomodating. After 2 hours of waiting they finally got Shiro in one of their room. Hailey was the one who took informations, weigh Shiro. nice lady. Then Dr. Prabhakar came and check Shiro. Dr.Prabhakar and his team went above and beyond. They look after Shiro very well. Dr. Prabhakar came out and explained to us what they did and what we should do when we go home. He is so nice. I think Shiro likes him They have to wait until Shiro wakes up, then Trish brought her out with a whole lot of informations and instructions to ensure we understand what to expect and what to do. She is so knowledgeable and very patient when we have tons of questions for her.We were at peace after talking to her. Then the other lady at the front desk her name is Hope is on top of everything. before we ask what we need she already printed the breakdown. First of all I apologize if I spell your name wrong I tried✌️✌️ Second of all we want to extend our sincere thanks to each and everyone of you. For accomodating Shiro during desperate measures. Thank you all for making us feel comfortable and we also enjoyed spending time with other patients Riley and Luna You took good care of the most important member of our family. Our forever baby Shiro. We will never forget Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital and we highly recommend this place. Friendly atmosphere, staff were all nice and hardworking. I can't say anything bad.Our hearts were full with so much gratefulness. Thank you ever so much! And I attached Shiro's picture who is starting to purr againOver all you deserved more than 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Have a grea day everyone!
Expérience fantastique: Pal has been coming for rehab since last year. He is dog reactive and anxious being left in new environments but Megan and Vero gave us a ton of support so we were successful. Now he runs in, eager to see his friends. They helped him shed some pounds and strengthen his hips. Thanks a million to the team!
Expérience fantastique: this vet told me the most important information about my cat. As 400 pembina did not the day prior. I was upset with the other vet as this one truly took the time to evaluate my cat. Unfortunately it was too late and I had to put him down here :( but he was treated with care here and the staff was available, comforting and supportive. I would recommend this place if you want your pets to be treated with respect and care without doubts. Thank you for treating my cat. This place felt sacred and special.
Expérience fantastique: My cat hurt is foot, I phoned Bridgewater and was seen within 3 hours, staff was kind, understanding and very helpful. I was seen on time, did not have to wait long and stress my cat. The doctor was efficient and gave recommendations for care. Thankyou
Expérience fantastique: From the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming. Caitlin, RVT, was absolutely amazing. She treated my dogs with such kindness, even when one of them wasn’t in the best mood that day. She stayed calm, patient, and handled everything with true professionalism. Dr. Sra was great too.
Expérience fantastique: Can’t ask for better care. I’ve used bridgewater over the years with a few of my pups. Most recently my little Ruby had a bad allergic reaction on the weekend and they took her in her in very quickly and treated her. Excellent care!
Expérience fantastique: I had to bring my dog in for the first time unexpectedly last night and the staff truly were wonderful. They were kind, compassionate, and gave him the best care - and lots of rubs. It’s certainly a very worrisome feeling, having to bring a pet in unexpectedly, but the staff are so warm that I was very quickly put at ease. There is a bit of a wait, but it’s a walk-in so that is to be expected. However, the wait was far less than what I was anticipating it to be. While I hope to never have to bring him in unexpectedly again - if I do, at least I am confident in the care and service we’ll both receive.
Expérience fantastique: We were referred from our vet for more specialized tests and care. Dr Mander and Brittney were very professional polite and explained everything up front. Front desk staff were friendly and receptive and the care and consideration shown was appreciated so very much. We were contacted after surgery with updates twice; day of and the following morning. Post surgery meds and care plan was explained in detail by a very nice nurse (sorry i missed your name) and Dr Mander showed us a picture to explain what was found in surgery. Thank you everyone.
Expérience fantastique: In Northern Ontario, my dog, while on a sandy beach playing with (chewing on) her ball, swallowed a bunch of sand. She became pretty sick, vomiting, not drinking or eating and hardly pooping. There was no vet where we were and a Televet told us she needed to be seen and xrayed but the closest city, Thunder Bay, had an extreme shortage of vets and the ones they had would refuse care (even in an emergency) to any animal not already in their care. They told us we had to get to Winnipeg (13 hours of driving away!) ASAP (We were traveling west across Canada). Bridgewater was the first vet we called and I was happy from the moment they answered the phone! All of the staff was kind and understanding. They got us in almost as soon as we arrived (we luckily only had about a 30 minute wait)! They treated my fur baby quickly and appropriately. They offered treatment options, advice, and aftercare instructions very clearly and answered any questions we had. Thank you to all the staff that we encountered today!!
Expérience fantastique: I have had three senior dogs and used Bridgewater for four emergencies, plus follow-up visits. My gratitude to them is overwhelming. All the staff are professional and compassionate. For all the people who have waited a long time for service, thank you. When you have a pet emergency you'll understand why. Laura Austin
Expérience négative: I have been to this vet many times (for the same thing - ear infection) and i mostly go in the evenings or weekends when it is walk in. The wait time is lengthy but i expect that at a walk in. Made an appointment this time on my lunch break and was put in a room with a nervous dog. Waited 40 minutes and ended up leaving as i had to get back to work. I won't be going back for this reason.
Expérience négative: Sadly I had to drop off my deceased dog to this place as I had no means of storing her at home the night she passed away. When I came in and was given a room I proceeded to go over paperwork with one of the employees there. While explaining my experience of what happened at home in a couple parts I was laughed at by the employee 3 or 4 separate times. I am not sure what kind of bed side manner that is, but I was absolutely taken aback and shocked that I was being treated in such a way. Of course I was busy dealing with other emotions at the time and didn’t have the peace of mind to appropriately express how disgusted I was. If I could, I would give this place 0/5 stars. The only saving grace deserving of a 1/5 star review is that I was treated by someone else more mature while explaining said experience. At least they seemed ashamed of how their colleague had acted. I would love to have been reimbursed my $400 as I did not pay that much to be made to feel like a fool or for being treated so unjustly. Would certainly not recommend this place. After explaining this experience to a few friends and family members I have heard pretty miserable experiences across the board, although none so appalling.
Expérience fantastique: We had to bring our sweet boy Benji to Bridgwater Vet Hospital for an urgent matter on Thursday, and we are beyond grateful for the incredible care he received. In what was a very stressful and emotional time, the staff made us feel supported every step of the way. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Choptain, Jada, Heather, Cathy, Mark, and every team member we met during the morning visit, the late-night visit, and the follow-up call to check on Benji afterwards. The kindness, patience, and genuine compassion shown to both Benji and us truly meant the world. It’s clear that this team doesn’t just treat pets, but care for them as if they were their own. We also really appreciated how quick and efficient the direct billing with our insurance was. It took away an extra layer of stress so we could focus on Benji’s care and recovery. We are so thankful to have such a dedicated and compassionate veterinary hospital nearby.
Expérience fantastique: I had such a wonderful experience bringing my cat here. From the moment we walked in, the staff were kind, patient, and very gentle with him, which made a big difference since he can be a little nervous. The veterinarian took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure my cat was comfortable throughout the visit. The clinic was clean, welcoming, and I truly felt that everyone cared about my cat’s well-being. I left feeling reassured and confident in the care he received. I’m very grateful and will definitely be bringing him back here! And that’s the only doctor who helped my cat with his upset stomach issue!
Expérience fantastique: We live 2.5 hours away and the trip is worth every penny when you have a sick animal. When it's almost impossible to get last minute emergency care in the rural areas, Bridgewater is a life line. Thank you for your amazing care and compassion.
Expérience fantastique: Im very happy with Bridgewater and how they helped. They understood my emotional state and how we felt over our beautiful kitty Lady
Expérience fantastique: Our poor dog Todd needed his eye removed urgently. We went to his eye specialist that has seen him previously for an eye infection earlier in the day, but felt like we were rushed out and told it’s fine for now, another days problem (5pm) What his eye looks like in the photo is how it looked at the first vet. We reluctantly drove 3 hours home with an 500$ bill and more eye drops but his eye ruptured within 2 hours of getting home, back to Winnipeg we went. This vet hospital took him in immediately (2:30am) and provided all the care we could have asked for. Despite never being here before we felt welcomed and these are absolutely animal people.
Expérience fantastique: Our dog required an emergency enucleation and the staff was wonderful. From guiding us over the phone initially when his eye ruptured to the assessments and open communication throughout. They did a great job on the procedure and he has been recovering well. I will trust this clinic again if emergency services are ever needed (but I hope to never have to!)
Expérience fantastique: I am incredibly grateful for the staff at Bridgwater who treated and cared for our dog during a recent emergency visit and overnight stay. We were scared and they showed care and compassion for us as well. I appreciated the regular updates about her condition and the report and written instructions that were sent home with us when she was released. It was an overwhelming 20 hours and the wonderful staff at Bridgwater helped us get through it. We cannot possibly thank them enough.
Expérience fantastique: Never been here before but had a puppy emergency and rushed in during the day. Staff were great, environment was clean and welcoming, and the price was very reasonable considering. I usually go out of town for our regular vet, but definitely considering using this as our regular clinic from now on.
Expérience négative: Great service when we were in the facility (we were visiting Winnipeg). The doctor was great. She literally told us to call back with any questions. However, they were supposed to follow up by sending us the dog's file so we could send it to our normal vet in Boston and they never did. When we called back to ask questions they told us we would need to be seen again and essentially they were done with us. The follow up was rude. The service was expensive. The wait was long. And we are left needing to find another vet to complete the work we paid them to do already.
Expérience fantastique: Our cat was hit by car they handled whole situation very compassionatly gave us time to grieve and very understanding was very tramatic
Expérience négative: I want to give the staff some grace because I can imagine this can be a super stressful and thankless job. My cat had a litter of kittens. They unfortunately passed away except for one. We checked on mama and her baby to find that babe was gaging for air. Well we called. We called our local vet (Brandon MB. We’re two hours away so getting to Winnipeg during this time plus hoping the kitten survived was a longshot). and they sent us a list of numbers to call to see who’s available for energy care. Waited on hold for a few mins (it’s late at night so I understand). The person who we had spoken to, I had found to be very rude. While on the phone with her, the kitten died in my hands. She did not offer advice or just some basic human decency as our kitten literally DIED in my hands as we were talking to her. I had been crying my eyes out. Not even a simple “I am so sorry for your loss”. All we got was “you can bring the cats body to us to deal with or bury it”. When we called our local vet, they at least gave us some advice on how to try to stop the kitten from aspirating. My boyfriend and I were so upset at this situation that we just hung up. I wanted to leave this review in case somebody has to call the 24 hour emergency line. Have a kitten die in your hands in its own right can freak anybody out but then to feel like we were treated poorly on top of that just makes the situation a lot worse. All I can say is that I’m very disappointed.
Expérience négative: I took my puppy to this vet, he was lethargic, wouldn’t eat, and was in pain. The first time I went the doctor didn’t even look at him, told me it was worms, even though I didn’t see anything in his bowel movements and I told him that. He gave me dewormer and probiotic. The next day my puppy is so much worse, can’t even lift his head, can’t walk, I take him back. I explain to them that whatever treatment they do I just would like to know how much it would cost, since I am 25 and a mother but I was willing to spend some money to try and save my puppy and I told the vet this. They came back with a plan to get him stable, his glucose was super low and his temp and we would go from there. I left for a few hours to let them work, I hadn’t heard anything for awhile and phoned. I asked how he was and what was the long term plan here, and what would be causing this. I’ve asked probably 2-3 times now what they think could be causing this and how to find out, they kept telling me it’s hard to tell we have to stabilize him. I go back to bring him home and they told me they would like him to stay so they can keep him warm and feed him with a syringe, overnight stays are extremely expensive and I decided I can do it myself at home. As I was leaving I asked again what they think could be causing this, they told me they didn’t do any bloodwork and they don’t know. They never even mentioned to me once that they wanted to do bloodwork the whole time my puppy was there and every time I asked what the next steps were. I did everything they told me to do all night, he was eating through the syringe and his temp was normal. I woke up this morning and he passed away. I am extremely disappointed that the vet didn’t tell me they needed bloodwork done, I paid almost 800 dollars for dewormer, parvo test, some glucose and for them to keep him warm, this was in a span of two days. I feel like I failed my little puppy, there was NO communication from the vet to me about what they wanted to do to find out what was wrong with him, I feel like I was taken advantage of at this clinic.
Expérience fantastique: Great professional staff. Very understanding. They give their medical advice but respect what you choose for your animal. As we all know , vet bills can get very expensive, very quickly. Bridgewater Vet goes through everything with you before treatment and they are very understanding and patient with you to explain all the procedures. They take your opinions into account and will try their best to adjust what they can so its affordable but with your fur babies getting what they need also. Thank you staff and doctors for our great experience and helping our Rosie back to her annoying, lovable self. Hopefully this time, she won't eat anything that is going to make her sick again....but i doubt it crazy dog❤️
Expérience fantastique: Honest Technician Feedback – Not a Client Review Disclaimer: I’m not a client of Bridgwater Veterinary Hospital & Wellness Center and have no personal interest in promoting them. This feedback comes directly from one of our technicians who recently provided service at their facility. He came back absolutely impressed, saying: “In my life, I’ve never seen a team that loves animals this much. Every single pet that walked through their doors was immediately greeted with hugs and genuine affection. This is the kind of team I would trust with my own pet without a second thought.” He also mentioned the place was spotless — a solid 10 out of 10 for cleanliness. We can’t speak to pricing or other services, but based on what our technician experienced behind the scenes — this team is made up of true champions.
Expérience fantastique: Very attentive and caring veterinary hospital. We went in for an emergency and they took great care of my pet right away. The staff was compassionate and explained everything clearly — I felt like my pet was in good hands. Thank you for being there when we needed you most!
Expérience fantastique: I was worried something was horribly wrong, and after 2 different clinics recommending Bridgwater, made the appointment and packed a lunch, because furbaby is worth it. All the staff were helpful and KIND, but Dr. Klonisch is a vet like I've never experienced. She's patient, kind and thorough, and so compassionate with my furbaby. Thru extensive tests, she showed the values of the results and explained what they were meaning. Hearing that furbaby could be in remission from diabetes, was the icing on the cake...me all teary, I asked if I could hug her, and yes I bear hugged her. Thank you to everyone. You're a blessing for us pet guardians.
Expérience négative: AVOID THIS CLINIC!! The worst veterinary clinic imaginable. Let me start by saying that my family has had two terrible experiences with this clinic, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who truly cares about their pets. First, my mother brought her cat here. No one could give a clear diagnosis. They offered to keep the cat overnight for a four-figure sum just to perform an X-ray. She declined and went to a different clinic, where they ran all the necessary tests, gave a diagnosis, and started treatment — all for a few hundred dollars. Then came our story. On a Sunday morning, we brought in our 10-year-old dog. He has a heart condition and an enlarged trachea. The only reason we came to this clinic was because it was the closest one open at the time. He was vomiting and refusing food, and we were ready to do whatever it took to save him. They took our dog from us and, after some time, came back to say his blood oxygen level was 92%. Then — just like with my mother — they offered the same overpriced “solution”: keep the dog overnight, and they might do an X-ray and bloodwork. Why couldn’t you do any of that immediately? Why delay testing when the dog is in obvious distress? I refused hospitalization because I knew — from our previous experience — that this was just another attempt to take money without delivering real care. No real examination. No diagnosis. Not even a guess as to what could be wrong. That same evening, our dog died from heart rupture. This clinic is not about helping animals. It’s about squeezing money from people who are scared and desperate. I wouldn’t trust them with a goldfish, let alone a beloved pet.
Expérience fantastique: I had never been to Bridgewater Vet before and had to take my fur baby in during their emergency hours. I ended up having to unexpectedly put my sweet boy down and the staff were all so kind and compassionate and caring. They made the worst night a little easier and were so supportive when I went back to pick my boy’s ashes up. They took such amazing care of my Lou and I will forever be grateful to their team.
Expérience fantastique: Very professional and animal loving specialists! Every time I bring my cat there, I feel that the vets and nurses really care about my cat's well-being as well as understanding owner's potential challenges. The clinic is well equipped and always ready to provide lab tests when needed.
Expérience fantastique: Excellent emergency care, and kind, professional, courteous staff. Good follow-up from the staff who quickly shared our dog’s file and information with our regular vet, which was greatly appreciated. Our recent experience was good and we recommend them. Thank you Bridgwater veterinary team.
Expérience fantastique: The level of service at Bridgwater Veterinary Hospital and Wellness Centre is bar none the best we've ever seen anywhere. We are from out of town and our dog got suddenly sick at 15 years old. We walked into this vet and we were taken care of immediately with the utmost compassion and kindness. From the sweetest receptionist to the vet and assistants, we were given time and space and felt comforted and verified and heard. We had to put our precious dog down that day. It was traumatic and they were so sensitive and helped us get through this. We were put in a comfortable family room with sofas and pillows to cuddle with our dog before her last breath. Thank you so much for helping us through this. We will never forget your warmth and care that helped us get through this without rushing us.. We have put other dogs down at other clinics and it was cold and sterile and nothing like this experience.. Bridgwater Veterinary Hospital and Wellness Centre the utmost best vet. Thank you
Expérience fantastique: The folks at Bridgwater vet were so helpful and reassuring in a really stressful time for my dog and me. They were friendly, warm and made me feel so much more comfortable. They got my dog in for minor surgery after only waiting about twenty minutes to see the vet, and were very transparent about the cost breakdown for the procedure. I hope I never have a need to come back here, but if any of my pets are in need of immediate medical attention, I would absolutely bring them back here.
Expérience fantastique: Bridgewater has a truly special place in my heart. The staff consistently handle every question and concern with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. Through some of the more difficult moments, including saying goodbye to both our dog and cat, they remained compassionate, respectful, and never once made us feel rushed or pressured. What really sets them apart is their honesty — they never push unnecessary tests or treatments, and they always offer thoughtful recommendations or more affordable alternatives when they can. I also appreciate how direct and clear they are, without falling into the robotic, impersonal tone so common in today’s tech-driven world. My sincere thanks to the entire Bridgewater team for their outstanding service, integrity, and heartfelt approach to care.<3
Expérience fantastique: New ...... just noticed that this clinic is now owned by vet strategy corporation. Which is solely about profit and not pet care. Very disappointed. Which can explain alot of the recent negative reviews about this clinic..... my review below is before vet strategy owned bridgewater. I can't imagine having an emergency with my pet and not having Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital to go to. You have saved 2 of my pets and I can never thank you enough for the amazing care you have provided, the cost is on point with the care that was provided.
Expérience négative: So everything was mostly alright. Every staff member was actually pretty nice and understanding, except for a very rude lady named, Andrea. Now I don't really understand, what her issue is. She's mad she has to stay up all night? She chose the job. You'd expect smiles and happiness from a staff member being given hundreds of dollars. This lady was mad. I can't really understand why. You can see quite obviously other staff members under her, step around her as well. Management has to do something about that.
Expérience fantastique: The staff snd Dr. Brown were kind, thorough and thoughtful in helping to assess our pug’s needs. The student vet was very kind and friendly and everyone there communicated well. Excellent service on a busy Sunday!
Expérience fantastique: My dog needed emergency surgery for a prolapsed colon and was told by multiple other vets that he had cancer and it wasn't a prolapse. Additionally, that we should consider putting him down. Upon calling, mind you at 10pm at night we were able to get an emergency consultation the very next day and drove from ontario to Winnipeg. Dr.Sra and his fellow team members performed the emergency LIFE saving surgery and gave my dog a new lease on life. Best veterinary hospital/clinic i know within central Canada. Best surgeons and best staff! I would like to extend my gratitude to the wonderful staff of the Bridgwater Veterinary Hospital for their experience and knowledge that saved my dog.
Expérience fantastique: My dog was having a hard time walkingbon her back legs dragging them and cryingbin pain.called Bridge water for an app. They said it was a!walkin day. Took down my info. When we got there we were greet by a very friendly employee . She said this must by Lucy. How nice they took note of who i was coming in with andcwhat kinda dog. They took her right to the back to treage her. Little while later they came and brought us to a room. Took down all infobtgen few minutes later came back with the vet. Dr.shapera. she explain all her findings gave hervrecomendations answered any and all question. It was a very heartwarming exsperience. We were treated with kindnesscand proffesionlism. Lucy was shown compassion and loving care. They made a very stressful situation better. Thank you Laura
Expérience fantastique: Took our cat into emergency at 2 in the morning for breathing issues, sadly the prognosis was not very good. The vet and staff were very compassionate and amazing to deal with, everything was explained fully and we were allowed to take our time to make informed decisions in a very compassionate environment.
Expérience fantastique: The team at the Bridgwater Veterinary Hospital were great. They were all attentive and kind. Dr. Gregoire took the time to explain things. We did not feel rushed whatsoever. Thank you for looking after us and our cat!
Expérience négative: Referred by our vet clinic to bring our dog in for diarrhea and vomiting. It appeared to have blood in it. Waited 2.5 hours to be seen . The vet only did blood work and it showed everything was normal. Said that he had an upset gi tract. She did not address the diarrhea. It cost us $620 with no diagnosis. Now 3 days later all our dogs have the same symptoms. Now I have to take all them to the vet. This is the second time bridgewater has miss diagnosed our pet.
Expérience négative: I recently brought my Golden Retriever puppy here for an ear infection. After it was said and done, it was clear that I was taken advantage of in terms of unnecessary services/tests and price gouging on medication. At the end of the day, I did sign off on these services, so it is on me. But moving forward, I will not be giving this veterinary center any more of my business, as their business practice is borderline predatory. I also can't in good conscience recommend this business to any of my colleagues and friends. This is my opinion based on my experience. Take it as you will. Cheers.
Expérience fantastique: Great staff. Took really good care of our cat. Prices are expensive for multiple tests like anywhere else. Brand new building and very clean. This was our second time there and she is happy and healthy and well taken care of.
Expérience fantastique: Our little doggie came to Bridgewater on an emergency overnight stay. Everyone was kind, compassionate, effective and knowledgeable. They monitored our little fella and did the right tests to help us to make the best decision for our dog. Highly recommend. In a prefect world the bill would have lower but it is what it is.
Expérience fantastique: I brought my dog here for the 2nd time now, they handled him very well with lots of love. I came in last minute and they were able to help in a timely manure and the price is fair. They were very informative whenever I had any questions.
Expérience négative: Unfortunately, our experience with Bridgwater Veterinary Clinic was extremely disappointing. Our young puppy was misdiagnosed — the vet suspected a liver shunt and claimed there was nothing visible on the X-ray. He did not recommend further tests or follow-up imaging, only asked us to return in three weeks for another round of bloodwork. The next day, we visited another clinic where both a new X-ray and blood test were done. After comparing their X-ray with the one from Bridgwater, they immediately noticed an abnormal area in the lower abdomen. Although the foreign object wasn’t clearly visible, they could tell something was wrong. They promptly performed a barium follow-through imaging series, which confirmed an obstruction. Emergency surgery was performed, and a foreign object was successfully removed. The liver was completely normal. Despite this, Bridgwater had prescribed six months of liver medication based solely on their misreading. They issued us a bill for over $1400, without providing a useful diagnosis or solution. It felt like their priority was billing, not our puppy’s health. If they offer you an X-ray, be aware — the diagnostic value may be no better than a cellphone photo, since they overlooked what another clinic immediately recognized. We’re sharing this to help others avoid the same stressful and expensive mistake.
Expérience négative: Avoid this clinic at all costs. We almost lost our puppy because of their incompetence. My puppy was clearly very sick vomiting, lethargic, and his stomach was full of fluid. But instead of taking those signs seriously, the vet relied mostly on bloodwork and sent us home with medications that did absolutely nothing. We spent money on treatment that didn’t help at all, while our puppy’s condition got worse. Thankfully, we took him to another clinic, where they quickly diagnosed a foreign object in his stomach and performed emergency surgery. If we had waited any longer, he might not have made it. When I followed up, the clinic refused to take any responsibility and just tried to justify their approach. No apology, no accountability. Please don’t risk your pet’s life. Trust your instincts and go somewhere else.
Expérience négative: I brought my cat in on a Sunday because I was positive she had a UTI or crystals in her urine based on the behaviours she was exhibiting. We waited over 2 hours in a nearly empty waiting room to see a vet. When we finally got into a room 2 vets came in, I think one was training. They were both very standoffish and I explained what was going on and answered the very few questions they asked but they didnt seem overly interested in me or my pet. They said they would do an x-ray and an ultrasound guided cysto to collect urine. After taking my cat to the back, they came back quickly and said they did the xray and her bladder looked inflamed. But then also stated her bladder was too small to attempt a cysto. They diagnosed her with FIC and put her on an anti inflammatory and a pain reliever. They refused to give her any antibiotics. $425 later, I left feeling unhelped, not listened to and swindled out of a good chunk of change. The only positive out of the experience was Chris at the front desk, he's a gem. The meds helped for a day or so and then everything continued. Chris called to follow up when the meds were helping and so I said it seemed like things were going well. But by the next day we were back to the same symptoms. I made an appointment at a vet I trusted and low & behold, they were able to do the cysto without any issue. The crystals were so bad you could see them floating in the syringe. She has both a UTI and crystals. She's on antibiotics now and doing 10x better. Ill never go back to bridgewater, or recommend them to anyone.
Expérience négative: I had never had my dog there before but had set up an account a couple years ago intending on making them my go-to vet as they were near where I live and I was told at the time that regular clients wouldn’t pay extra emergency fees. Today I took my dog in as he was “off” enough that I was concerned. There was nobody else in the waiting room when I got there. I later heard a dog in the room next to us but that was the only sign of anyone else there. They took my dog for some vitals tests then put us in a room for an hour. If the waiting room was full when I got there, as it was when I left, I’d understand a wait but that wasn’t the case. Nobody even bothered to stick their head in and give me an estimate when someone would come see us. I left without seeing a vet. I’ll be looking elsewhere for someone to care for my animals.
Expérience fantastique: We brought our Emery here tonight on emergency. They accepted her right away and assessed fast. They kept me calm and took wonderful care of her very quickly.
Expérience fantastique: While at first a bit weary of our first ER trip, from the second I called in to the front desk, I was met with compassion, patience and empathy. The individual on the phone was outstanding and let me ramble in my state of panic 100%, judgement free. Upon arriving, the same individual appeared to have just been finishing their shift and as they came out the door (likely already clocked out), she said, “Jennee?”, and visited briefly which made me feel at ease. We waited about 2 minutes before being seen by Kayla (nurse) and Dr. Josee. Again, I felt heard, validated and as though my dog was in such good hands. Both Kayla and Dr. Josee were kind, thorough and incredibly gentle with both myself and my girl, Jennee. I was reassured, provided options and felt no pressure to make one decision over another. In addition, I felt everyone was transparent, honest and logical about the situation. I left feeling calm, relieved and my dog is on her way to a full recovery. No high pressure “sales”, no high pressure “tests”. I felt I had a choice and say in matter while also being guided and educated in a respectful way. While I hope to never be back (lol) I would 100% recommend Bridgewater emergency clinic to anyone who is needing urgent care. Jennee and I thank everyone who pours their heart and soul into our beloved pet’s care.
Expérience négative: If I could give this Business a -0 i definitely would! 1. Did not touch my dog once as they made me touch him for them. 2. Deemed him to have an infection & eczema without testing or touching the wound! 3. Wanted to immediately charge me (a 22 year old female) for all these medications when in fact I knew to get a second opinion after seeing the other ratings! 4. The assistant vet tech threw the vet under the bus saying he’s new - very very unprofessional! Only star I would give to is the lovely receptionist who knew the pain I just went thru with that vet, clearly was not happy either about my situation & get this! I DIDNT HAVE TO PAY! This was clearly them trying to take advantage of my situation when in fact it was not my first time dealing with a vet! Do better! My dog is all healed & had no infection & has no eczema! Take this rate as you will but GO TO ANOTHER VET - TAKE IT FROM SOMEONE WHOS HAD OVER 15 dogs throughout their life & over 7 cats growing up. Clearly they tried and failed even after trying to give excuses!
Expérience fantastique: Outstanding care and compassion from all the staff! My pup lost a fight with a porcupine on a Saturday evening. I attempted to contact every vet in the Interlake I could think of without any luck before I was referred to Bridgwater. They came right to the car to meet us and took her in immediately. The staff were so gentle and accommodating. They took great care of her and kept me informed the entire process. Very thankful for everything they did for us especially being so late at night.
Expérience négative: They performed an ECG on my dog, but after we left the veterinary clinic, they called to inform us that the test files had not been saved. As a result, we had to bring our dog back for the procedure again. We live 75 kilometers from the clinic, and I had to take time off work to attend the second appointment. Additionally, they charged us a deposit, which they later partially refunded because our insurance covered 90% of the procedure—but that deposit tied up my credit card balance for five days.
Expérience fantastique: Can’t say enough good things about this emergency vet!! My Bella got into a toxic bush outside and got extremely sick, our regular vet recommended coming here as they were short on dr’s. I called Bridgewater frantic and as busy as they were, they said to bring her in with no hesitation! From the first phone call right to the end of Bella’s treatment, this vet was incredible. Their compassion for animals shines through, and their calmness and respect for you and your fur babies was absolutely heart warming. Bella is on the mend and getting back to her spunky self with lots of cuddles from her sister Marlee! I also want to add that the pricing was INCREDIBLY reasonable, and the staff will not proceed with any treatment plan before going over pricing thoroughly and getting your signature. So absolutely no surprises when it comes to paying - the staff works with you to find the most suitable and affordable priced treatment plan to ensure the health and safety of your fur babies. I’m beyond thankful for Bridgewater vet! We thank all of the staff there for all that you do ❤️❤️ P.S the clinic is super nice and so clean!!!!!!
Expérience fantastique: After our 7-year-old dog experienced her first-ever seizure—actually a series of cluster seizures—at 1 a.m., we were frantic and desperate for help. When we called Bridgwater, their team was incredibly diligent and compassionate, answering all our questions and urging us to bring our sweet girl in immediately. In contrast, when we called Pembina Emergency vet first, their response was dismissive and left us feeling like our dog’s emergency wasn’t being taken seriously. They told us not to come in unless she had more than 3 seizures. She had 3 in a span of 12 hours. Our dog ended up staying over 24 hours at Bridgwater, where the staff provided exceptional care. They kept us informed every step of the way, explaining her treatment plan and ensuring we understood what was happening. When it was time to take her home, they patiently answered all our questions and reassured us she was going to be okay. What truly stood out was how much the staff at Bridgwater genuinely cared for our dog as if she were their own. That kindness and dedication made an incredibly stressful experience so much more manageable. We are beyond grateful for the outstanding care and service provided by Bridgwater Vet. We have already recommended them to several people in case their pets ever need emergency attention!
Expérience fantastique: I recently took my baby girl, Burpie, to Bridgewater Vet Hospital for a CT scan, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. They treated Burpie with such care and compassion, and I truly felt she was in the best hands. It’s always nerve-wracking when your pet needs something as serious as a CT scan, but the staff made the entire process smooth and reassuring. Thank you to everyone at Bridgewater Vet Hospital for the excellent care – Burpie and I are very grateful!
Expérience fantastique: I've been on the phone all morning trying to get my senior dog his medicine, and Tania has been a literal god send! She went above and beyond to answer every single question I had including pricing, dosages by weight, and even further recommendations and specifications for every medicine! I don't think I've ever had such amazing customer service! She was by far the kindest person I've had the absolute pleasure of working with to ensure my good boy was well taken care of! We need more people like you Tania! Thank you so much for making my day!
Expérience fantastique: Best vet experience ive had thus far, they had a person who was still in school and he was amazing and will be an incredible vet one day! Definitely coming back for any issues going forward! If i could give more stars i would
Expérience fantastique: We brought our Spaniel, Roxy in with little notice. In spite of being very busy they squeezed us in and diagnosed her immediately. We had a bit of a wait for a doctor but someone came in with water for us and some reassurance that we would be looked after asap. Roxy was well looked after and we were given all of the info we needed for medicating her when we got her home. We left the hospital impressed with their services.
Expérience fantastique: Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital provided outstanding care during our late-night emergency. Their empathy and professionalism were evident throughout the entire experience. They explained everything clearly, gave us the time and space we needed to say goodbye, and even had a private room with a separate exit, allowing us to leave with dignity. During an incredibly difficult moment, their kindness made all the difference. Thank you so much…
Expérience fantastique: Today we met Dr. Shapera under not so great circumstances. She had the difficult job of having to tell us that it was time to part with our furry friend. She was so gracious, patient, and accommodating to us as we faced every emotion imaginable. Unfortunately for us, we now no longer have any pets, but would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone that does!!
Expérience fantastique: They are amazing! Very kind people and compassionate, my cat went there a few times for a blockage and they fixed him right up and the amazing vet text suggested me Royal canine and he’s hasn’t been there since! I can’t thank you guys enough!!!
Expérience négative: My experiences with this vet have left me no choice but to give a 2 star review. Last experience was I kept calling to refill my dogs prescription as I was getting low on her life saving meds so I am calling in advance which is a good thing I did. After repeated calls to request refilling meds to no avail I finally spoke to someone who cared and didn’t give me the run around and took my request seriously. Finally got the meds filled after a week of run around and spoke with a customer service person who said they would try to do better in the future . Thanks, but doesn’t take away from the added stress I felt for nothing. Now this visit I came to early about 1 hour early I let them know I was there and if they had a cancellation or anything I would be out in my car waiting till my appointment. I was called shortly after to come in they had a room ready. Great ! I went to the room ( my dog has heart issues and has been experiencing passing out when stressed) we were put in a room ok wait wait wait my dog is panting and I am worried for her to go into another room syncope episode . I leave the room which was hot and I have claustrophobia and am allergic to animals ( my dog is hypoallergenic) so I am sneezing like crazy We go outside for a little walk and for my dog to go to bathroom. Go back in see the assistant tell her the issues. Now that m back to waiting it’s now about a 1/2 after my appointment time. I am stressed , sneezing and my dog is panting like crazy . I want to buy something and know which vet I am suppose to be seeing (If it’s a out of school vet I don’t want to see them bc my dog has heart problems and I need a cardiologist or seasoned vet) I’m trying to buy the item but the newbie at the desk wants an invoice first Why ? Why can’t I just buy the item I haven’t decided yet I’m going to leave but I haven’t seen anybody yet so that’s why there is no invoice!! I just want to buy the item so while I’m waiting my dog can use it but no this girl makes me have to wait some more I am getting frustrated at the process. I’m sneezing im hot I’m worried for my dog who is feeling anxious and I’m at my wits end with waiting in a tiny room for the last hour and a half (I have been in and out of and asked them just to call me when the dr is ready to come to the room) Today I look at the notes wanting to know what my dogs analysis was and the newbie girl writes 0 is in a bad mood from the start ??!! O sighs 0- huffs 0 mutters under her breath REALLY !! Did she write O says she’s worried for her dogs heart O has allergies O seems stressed NO bc she is unprofessional and doesn’t know how to take notes or have curtesy to the clientele that are going there who are stressed and love their pet very much and are doing everything in their power to save them This is an emergency veterinary department Empathy should be a given !! For that reason this vet gets a 2 star rating bc they are unprofessional and too overbooked leaving people to wait and get more stressed
Expérience fantastique: I had to rush my little pup into the hospital bc he'd eaten a shallot. From the time we arrived, we were treated with nothing but kindness and respect. They explained every step they were going to take with him and were so incredibly gentle with him. I was sincerely appreciative of the advice and the options provided by the vet so that I was able to make informed decisions. My pup and I were happy for the experience.
