Expérience fantastique: My tiny puppy was brought into Atlas Wednesday night and the care that was taken of him was amazing. I can’t begin to say how thankful to the team at Atlas for bringing him back to health. I was allowed to come visit him and was given loads of time with him. Thank you so much for saving Archie!

Expérience fantastique: My other half (my dog) is in their hands right now. I’ve already broken down emotionally. I started to doubt them and got a little rude I think. Now I’m so sorry and so so so hopeful my other half comes back to me and lies next to me for another few years. Please please come home tonight!

Expérience fantastique: I’m so grateful to Dr. Aman for saving my dog Cookie, and for being incredibly ethical and fair with his pricing and diagnosis. For the first time, I truly feel safe and confident going to a vet. Highly recommend!

Expérience fantastique: My dog is an 18-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. He became very sick around 1:00 am on February 12th, and I brought him to the hospital right away. Dr. Naresh and the staff were so kind and compassionate. They called me several times throughout the night during their examination to keep me updated, which I truly appreciated. After a couple of days in the hospital, I was able to bring Jeddy home. Dr. Hakam had all the medications carefully prepared and explained all the instructions we needed to follow. After about four days, Jeddy’s condition improved a lot. He started eating again, stopped vomiting, and even began walking around. Our family was so happy and relieved to see him getting better. Today, we will be bringing him back for a follow-up check-up. We are very grateful for the excellent care and support from Dr. Naresh, Dr. Hakam, and the entire team. Thank you so much for helping Jeddy recover.

Expérience négative: Very bad rude and impatient vet. Interrupts while I tell him the situation, and won't even care to listen. Looks like he wanted to escape from the room. Pushes client for signing. Horrible experience there. The assistant was okay, but their front door was locked and nobody at the reception place. I had to call them on the phone.

Expérience négative: Stay stay the hell The biggest scam from this place my dog hit by a car. I brought her in. Vet told me they had to keep her in for 24 hours and to do some scans and things on her. This was 10 minutes into being there the next five minutes, they handed me over a bill for $2500 for the overnight stay in the scans And they wanted 30% of it so my husband gave them the 30% down as I was leaving and driving home in the car , Five minutes later, they told me the dog died ‘ this is all within 20 minutes went back. They took the 30% When I came there, the only thing I seen was a tube in her mouth and an intravenous they said that they gave her scans but I don’t believe I asked them to see the scans and they wanted another $250 To see them I didn’t believe all the things that said This was funny 14,00 reviews in a 3.7

Expérience fantastique: We appreciate you all staff, especially to Doctor Simrat who helped us.I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care provided yesterday. It was indeed a challenging day, and your expertise and compassion made a significant difference. Your dedication to ensuring the best possible outcome is truly commendable. The most difficult decision we made is to Let go our baby GENEAL.She will be turning 12yrs old this coming June 7, 2026. Unfortunately, We had to let her go for her own good. Doctor Simrat thank you for your tireless efforts and unwavering support during this difficult time. We are deeply appreciative of your professionalism.I highly recommend ATLAS Animal Hospital & Emergency Vancouver. moving forward our other 5yrs old poodle will definitely come back there for her annual vaccination and check up. Salute to all of you. We felt 100% sympathy for the team with us yesterday.

Expérience fantastique: Dropped by on a rainy day hoping to have my pet vaccinated; the wait was short, the staff were pleasant, the vet was good and we will return to this business.

Expérience positive: With any clinic there are pro's and con's. I've had mostly good experiences here, but 2 misdiagnosis (see below). Atlas is my go-to for vaccine's, vet-grade dry dog food, and some health issues, although still use your common sense and get a second opinion if needed. I actually love that it's walk-in only, I just make sure to go in off-hours if I want it to be quick. The misdiagnosis was related to allergies (push for a Derm referral instead) and I was sent to an eye specialist unnecessarily. The doctor claimed my dogs dilated pupil was an emergency when in fact was a common side affect of the medication he had prescribed.

Lydia Terry Publié le Google 2 months ago

Expérience fantastique: Best vet in the lower mainland. Wait times are basically nonexistent even with no appointment scheduled, whether it’s for annual routine exams/vaccinations, x-rays, you name it. Staff and doctors are always very pleasant and informative, my dogs medicated food is always in stock. Facility is clean, bright, and spacious, which I think helps with my lil fellas nerves, the only time he is scared is when he’s up on the exam table. Parking lot is accessible and I’ve never had an issue getting a spot. Overall 10/10

Expérience fantastique: Best vet I’ve found so far. They have VERY affordable prices and don’t push you to do expensive treatment methods first if you don’t want to or guilt trip you, they will try other things that cost less which have always solved what I came there for and I didn’t have to break my wallet to help my pets.

Expérience fantastique: The third vet I went to for my dog and I wish it were the first. They were the only ones to give me any kind of answer, and they were flexible with me considering the fact that I already forked out too much money at Canada West & the Vet in Whistler. Thank you for taking care of my dog and having genuine care for him!

Expérience fantastique: I cannot express how amazing this vet is. I have been taking my dog for the last five years. This vet legitimately cares about animals. They are absolutely not in for the money. They have saved my girl twice now, and I could not be more thankful Every time my experience there is 10/10. I just saw Dr. Bhullar today and he was so informative and proceeded with medication without having to do diagnostics. Hands down the best that I’ve ever been to

Expérience positive: Good selection, prices and fast service to buy products. Parking is always full and very narrow spaces though

Expérience négative: Worst vet in Vancouver hands down. No wonder the owner needs to advertise on buses. Just stay away from this place if you love your pets

Shuo Zhang Publié le Google 3 months ago

Expérience négative: The Indian doctor was rude. When injecting the vaccine into the cat, the needle even bent. They had to re-puncture the skin. The cat was very scared and was listless when it got home. The price is not as cheap as they claim. If you were attracted by their low price, you won't get the result you desire. Must visit higher-rated stores.

Expérience fantastique: I wanted to share my experience since there are so many one star reviews. I have been taking my 11year-old lab husky shepherd mix in for a few years. Doctor Grewal is my preferred vet. On Sunday I came home after only being out for about 30 minutes—To blood on her blanket. We rushed her to the vet. Dr. Grewal was only going to do Bloodwork to start I asked for x-rays. We waited for the results for the bloodwork. And a basic reading from the vet of the x-rays. He went over each part of the films with me and he said there looked like there was something inside her stomach like fluid or a mass. Her BW showed she had an Infection, one liver function was elevated, and he could see that she had Chronic osteoarthritis a major change since her last x rays last year. He sent the x-rays out to be read. He prescribed some antibiotics and pain meds and we went home. He offered to keep her overnight)he wasn’t pushing. I said no - it would be traumatic for her as we have only been apart one night, when I had a medical test done overnight. On Monday. She didn’t want to get up in the morning to go to the bathroom I helped her get up. She only wanted to pee and come right back inside. I could tell she was miserable. When we were coming back up in the elevator, blood was coming out of her mouth. She was going to be 11 on November 10. She was a little over weight. At 5pm on Monday she didn’t want to go out with her ball. I called the vet-it was Dr Bhuller. He called me back and everything Dr Grewal said about the X rays was accurate. He offered to do more invasive tests that would most likely end in surgery. I know that my dog would not want to have surgery. We went in on Tuesday, Dr. Grewal and the vet technicians were so compassionate. They wanted to take her in the back room for the sedation. I asked them to please do it in the room, I had her laying on the floor on her bed with her blanket and her toys. They got right down on the floor to insert the IV. I asked them to let her know what they were doing because I spoke to her daily as if she was a human and her knowledge of the English language was exceptional. They did everything that I asked. Thank you, Dr. Grewal and the 2 vet techs for your care and compassion. Thank you to the Atlas team for always being compassionate.

Expérience fantastique: This is the best 24-hour emergency veterinarian clinic in Vancouver. Thank God for these people, very professional. One of the last veterinarian hospitals that won't be bought out by big corporations to quadruple the price so that you will not own pets. The most reasonably priced veterinarian hospital in vancouver. Period!!

Valeria Romea Publié le Google 4 months ago

Expérience négative: This clinic presents itself as an affordable option; however, in my experience, the final costs were comparable to or higher than those of other clinics. On multiple occasions, during the long waiting times I observed, nearly every client was being advised to proceed with blood tests. I was repeatedly urged to authorize such tests under claims of urgency that were not clearly justified with sufficient medical explanation. As a client, I did not feel adequately informed to make a fully transparent decision. It is disappointing that the founder’s values are not reflected in the professional and ethical standards of the services provided.

Expérience négative: A Highly Traumatic and Lackluster Experience - Zero Empathy I brought my critically ill rescue cat, Nella, to Atlas Animal Emergency Hospital because they were the only facility I could afford for an initial exam fee. Unfortunately, the experience during our darkest hour was cold and deeply traumatic. If your pet is in critical care, I urge you to seek alternative options if possible, as their lack of immediate triage and empathy is alarming. 1. Failure to Triage / Excessive Wait Time Despite my cat clearly dying in my arms, I was told there would be no immediate assessment, and I had to wait my turn behind other non-critical cases. We waited for over 60 minutes while my cat deteriorated. My repeated pleas to have a staff member look at her were initially dismissed. When a staff member finally saw her after 62 minutes, they immediately recognized the severity and took her back. This delay was a serious failing in emergency protocol. 2. Lack of Staff Professionalism During the hour-long wait, multiple staff members were gathered at the front desk, laughing, chatting, and appearing completely unconcerned. Watching this casual behavior while I was openly crying and holding my dying animal was incredibly upsetting and showed a profound lack of respect and professionalism towards clients in distress. 3. Cold and Judgmental Consultation When we were finally called into the consultation room, the veterinarian treated us with a judgmental and accusatory tone, questioning why Nella was in such "bad shape" due to visible signs of past malnutrition and mistreatment. They made these accusations without even asking if she was a rescue. My son had to step in and explain her symptoms as I was too distressed to speak. This line of questioning, given the severity of the situation, was cruel and unprofessional. 4. Zero Financial Empathy We were immediately quoted a \$1000 up-front payment for life-saving measures. When I explained that I am a single mother on disability and could not afford this, and begged for a payment plan (which I have heard they have offered to others), I was flatly denied. They showed zero empathy or flexibility. The entire process, including the subsequent euthanasia, was handled with total detachment. They even charged \bm{\$200} for ashes, which I regrettably could not afford at that moment. This was an extremely cold and traumatic experience, especially for my 11-year-old son. While I am grateful her pain was stopped, which I paid $40 forthe, staff here needs extensive training in client empathy and emergency triage. They should not be working with the public during such vulnerable times.

Expérience négative: I brought my cat to Atlas Vets because she was very sick — not eating, barely moving, head down, clearly in distress. I explained everything, including diet, and they immediately jumped to worst-case scenarios like diabetes. They recommended bloodwork, a urine test, and a fructose test panel. I agreed because they are a 24-hour clinic and I assumed they had in-house lab results. Only after I paid did I find out they do not have in-house lab services on weekends. My cat’s results wouldn’t be ready until Monday. It was Friday night and her condition was getting worse by the hour. That delay could have cost her life. I then had to take her to InterCity Animal Hospital on Marine Drive and pay all over again — this time they actually ran the tests in-house immediately, and we found out it was a kidney infection, not diabetes. In the end, I spent over $1,100 at Atlas for urgent tests that didn’t come back when needed. I would have gone elsewhere if they had been transparent upfront. For emergency cases, fast lab results matter. So my sincere recommendation: if your pet is in crisis — choose a clinic with in-house labs. Atlas is fine for regular checkups, but they are not a good option for urgent medical situations.

Expérience positive: Affordable and have no extra fees that other clinics charge. My 5 month old kitten got neutered. He got in and was done in less than 5 hours.

Justin G Publié le Google 5 months ago

Expérience négative: We had a family cat who passed and we brought his remains to Atlas to be cremated. I was disappointed by the lack of communication. I don't feel the staff is warm or kind during a period of grief. They were unapologetic when I expressed how disappointed I was.

Expérience négative: The receptionist was in outer space. I had to repeat every answer and question about 4 times, and then after I got into a room with my pet the RECEPTIONIST walks in while my cat is scared and I’m trying to comfort her and then snaps in her face harshly and raises his voice at her while she’s almost hyperventilating. Young guy totally no respect. After this, the vet walks in and greets me with “what do you want”. As I’m speechless at the experience I just had and I’m staring at the vet, my cat jumps off the table and runs towards the door where other animals are being kept. Not a single care in the world to try and close the door, nor attend to the fear my cat was experiencing. Rude and Careless and Horrible experience. I walked out with my cat right there. I feel sad for this experience.

Expérience fantastique: I am always happy with the care our cat, Meobe, receives at Atlas. I also had a great experience with my first cat years ago. The vets and staff were especially helpful, kind and supportive when she passed. I appreciate the email reminders regarding vaccinations, etc. I recommend Atlas to others regularly when I hear they have experienced issues at other places. Thank you!

Expérience fantastique: Atlas Animal Hospital offers excellent no nonsense pet care. Im grateful for their extremely fair pricing. They do what’s necessary and do not pressure pet owners into unnecessary expensive procedures. Atlas provided first rate end of life care for my last beloved older dog. Atlas has provided very good affordable care for my new pup. The cost of my puppy’s spaying was half the price of other vets, and it healed well. I’m very grateful for dependable affordable care!

Expérience fantastique: The staff at the clinic are professional and NOT the pushy sales type. Prices like examination, anal gland expression, and common drugs are reasonable compared to other vets that collude to set higher prices. Our Bichon had some recurring diarrhea and was given 2 shots and 2 course of antibiotics to treat bloating and bacterial infection.

Expérience négative: I can't trust the cashiers at this store. They sometimes charge extra fees. They don't just give you the bank card scanner. Instead, they quote you a price and then give you the machine. So the price is different every time. Just be careful.

Expérience fantastique: Assistance with our dogs is always provided in a professional and skilled manner at any time of the day or night. If needed, I can call the clinic to speak with the vet about a question I might have after an appointment. The front desk staff are knowledgeable and understanding. I greatly appreciate Dr. Bhullar's expertise.

Expérience négative: They don't care about your animal. They would rather let your animal suffer than be responsible and go over end of life options. It's so sad to see many people and pets come here to be disappointed and misled. Yes their prices are low, but sometimes you get what you pay for. It hurt me to know the medicine they practice here is as cheap as their prices are. My dog will never come here again

J Keu Publié le Google 7 months ago

Expérience fantastique: I brought my dog in for a dental cleaning and it was just a wonderful experience. No appointment needed, they were able to take him whenever he was ready. He got his full blood work done and a couple extractions (which I expected), and now he’s healing beautifully. Best yet, I paid about 33% less at this clinic than I did at my regular vet! I’m thinking maybe Atlas should be my regular vet now; I love how they make their all-important services oh so accessible! The staff was kind (just a bit busy, but I don’t mind). My dog and I got everything we needed here so we are happy.

Expérience négative: My cat is very sick and not moving. The vet here looked at him and said he’s severely blocked and would not survive the night. The cost is $1800 and I am a single mom with two girls on income assistance with a disability. I asked him if we could make it in a couple payments because I have no money. My income assistance for a month is this much. The vet said there is nothing he can do, even tho just earlier he said my cat will not survive the night. So this place is not in the business of saving animals, they are in the business to make money only. The employee at the front said the owner said he can’t help us. They gave us a phone number for a different emergency hospital to go to.

Akinna Kronemeyer Publié le Google 7 months ago

Expérience fantastique: I should have come to Atlas first when my kitty needed help. Unlike other places, they were completely open and honest about their rates. Sadly because another vet scammed me out of my money, i couldn't replace those funds in time to bring my kitty here in time to save her. Ultimately I brought her in for final services. The staff were kind and sympathetic as I was bawling my eyes out. If another cat jumps out at me from a garbage pile and adopts me, like the last one did, i'll be bringing them here for all services.

Expérience négative: I brought my dog to Atlas Animal Hospital after he suddenly started vomiting, collapsed, couldn’t walk, and refused to eat. The vet recommended an x-ray, blood test, and a 24-hour stay. The initial invoice was over $1,400, but when I said I wanted to leave, they suddenly lowered it to $800 without the 24-hour stay. This felt very unsettling. After paying, my dog had the x-ray and blood test, but the results were not explained clearly. We were sent home with pills. Also, the doctor later called us and said our dog needed to do another test costing over $1,000. Unfortunately, after 5 days, my dog’s symptoms returned. We then went to another animal hospital with better reviews. They explained everything much more clearly and requested the records from Atlas. They even redid the x-ray — and the results were completely different from what Atlas had given us. I had a very disappointing experience at Atlas Animal Hospital. In my opinion, their focus seemed to be more on money than on genuinely caring for pets. I felt that my pet’s needs were not prioritized, and instead I was pressured about costs.

Expérience négative: DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET!!! wish I could give this place even less then one star. went here for a diagnosis for my dog the doctor walks in the exam room barely listens to a word I said about my dogs condition barely does anything to check him at all walks out of the room and comes back with a bill asking me to leave him over night and to sign a bill for 1500 dollars I said that was ridiculous and my concern of leaving him overnight the bill suddenly became 779 which is still over priced for xray and bloodwork then when I received the results the doctor misdiagnosed my dogand sent us home with anti nausea meds for him my dog had the same issues again and we went to another vet who had the initial test results sent from atlas and they were shocked that atlas didnt run thru the actual issues with me that my dog actual had such as a heart murmur and kidney issues using the results that the first vet had clearly glanced over and not even bothered to see the clear issues that the second vet easily spotted this place is a money hungry cash grab that doesn't care about your pet they only care about the amount they can squeeze out of your pocket whether or not the help your animal this place should be investigated and shut down I will be reporting then to the better business bureau etc

Expérience négative: I had a deeply disappointing and upsetting experience at this clinic. When my dog Jackson developed an abscess, instead of presenting all reasonable possibilities—including a simple infection that could be treated with antibiotics—the vet immediately launched into scare tactics and unnecessary upselling. The vet entered the room theatrically covered in blood and pus, clearly trying to shock and play on our emotions. He rattled off a long list of expensive procedures—$240 bloodwork, $175 X-rays, $850 surgery, and a $300 biopsy—without providing a diagnosis. My 11-year-old child was reduced to tears after hearing him insist that it “could be a tumor,” and when I pointed out that tumors don’t appear on X-rays, he escalated the fear further by suggesting it might be bone cancer. Only after I pressed him about infection did he reluctantly admit it was a possibility and then casually offered to prescribe antibiotics—something that should have been the first, least intrusive, and most logical step. The fact that he omitted this option at first makes it very clear where his priorities lie: profit, not animal care. In the end, it was an infection, and it cleared with antibiotics alone. No surgery, no biopsy, no thousands of dollars in unnecessary exploratory procedures. I will never bring my pets back to this clinic. Their approach was not only unethical but also traumatizing for my child. Pet owners deserve honesty, compassion, and medical care that puts the animal’s well-being first—not a sales pitch.

Expérience fantastique: All the doctors at this animal hospital are great, but Dr. Joshi is truly exceptional. He listens carefully, takes my dog’s condition into full consideration, and is always honest and trustworthy. I genuinely believe he provides the best possible treatment for my dog, and that has always been my experience. Their prices are also very reasonable, I’m very happy with the care here.

Expérience fantastique: I don’t understand how this place got any bad review I can not thank them enough for helping my dog who was in pain and they helped my baby. My dog had surgery and was explained in details what the after care was. They cared so much I am so shocked on how they responded and took action so fast I been to many vets and all I can say is what they done for me no other vet would have. This place is a very TRUSTWORTHY and they care so much. This vet is the BEST! Remi my dog is not in pain and he looks so much happier xoxo this vet is all about ur animal not in just for money and I am still shocked on how they all helped remi. Staff AMAZING I read the other “bad” reviews and honestly I never got treatment like that nor many of my other friends who also takes their pet there but I TRUST THIS PLACE WITH MY BABY 100%

Expérience négative: Don’t take ur dog here. A year ago they told me my dog won’t make it and to put him down. I took him to another vet and they did a surgery for his hernia and he’s been great he’s 15 and he’s happy. This hospital doesn’t care about your dog.

Expérience négative: Avoid at all costs! I used to take my pet there because they were the cheapest — maybe for vaccines or simple things it’s worth it, but for serious issues, NEVER GO THERE. I took my pet because she was breathing very fast, and I was seen by the man with a scruffy face. He wasn’t clear at all about the diagnosis; he told me it could be three different things — meaning he didn’t know what she had, but he did know how much to charge. He told me hospitalization would be $1,500 dlls. When we told him we would seek a second opinion, he had the nerve to lower the price to $1,000, and that’s when we realized they see pets as a business and truly don’t care about the pain of the owner or the animal. I ended up taking her to another vet who gave an accurate diagnosis from the start.

Expérience fantastique: The vets at Atlas literally saved my dog’s life during a time when he had a serious infection and we were so worried he would pass - they cared for him for over 48 hours, sent him home to us with medication, and he bounced back before our very eyes! I would highly recommend all the vets at Atlas. They are professional, caring, and will go the extra mile for your pet. Their fees are also very reasonable and this makes their vet services accessible to so many more people in the city.

Expérience fantastique: My dog required emergency hysterectomy, I was able to get her in for surgery without an appointment and pick her up the next day. Take care of the veterinarians in the hospital is really great and their prices much affordable.

Expérience négative: AVOID AT ALL COST!! THEY WILL MISDIAGNOSE AND SCAM YOU WITH UPCHARGES (thousands of $) They almost killed our cat until we wised up and went elsewhere. This place was a total scam. If you consider yourself a responsible pet owner, please please do your pet a favour and go elsewhere.

Expérience négative: My aussiedoodle recently had a very painful abscess on his throat. I went to this vet - they tested the fluid, which turned out to be bacterial and then prescribed six days of antibiotics. This all seemed appropriate and fine. The antibiotics were working to bring the abscess down but didn't quite finish the job, as the abscess came back. When I went back to the vet, they wanted to do surgery with full anesthesia, blood panels etc,, at a cost of about $1200 plus meds. This seemed silly to me - I insisted on getting a longer course of antibiotics - they seemed shocked and defensive with the pushback, but gave me 14 days of antibiotics at a total cost of $200. This worked and he is now completely in the clear. My thought here is that this vet clinic seem a bit gougey and do not provide thoughtful alternatives which are less intrusive and costly. You almost have to know what you want before you walk in and manage the vet in addition to trying to heal your pet.

Expérience fantastique: Most affordable vet anywhere in Canada. They seriously care about your animals. Staff at the front are extremely efficient and do a great job of keeping everything moving. The vet techs are so good with the pets. Our doctor has been fabulous with their comprehensive and complex care needs that had accumulated over this period of fiscal challenges. With the pricing here, though, both doggies are getting the full menu! Thank you to everyone who works at Atlas and makes going to the vet less scary for the pets and the people.

Expérience positive: Cheap, decent pet care (I took in two cats.) Front desk staff was pretty shoddy, either her workload is too high or something else, but intake was very bare bones (this was for a general check-up, but it was my first time at this vet and the first time for my pet here.) 15 or so minute wait for initial weigh in, the vet assistant here was very gentle with my cat which was great. 5/10 min wait and the vet came in to assess. Treatment plan for my cat worked well and my cat is healed up nicely. I would say, in an emergency safe to take your pets here! Customer service is a lil lacking, speak up and check in with the workers and make sure you understand what’s happening with your pet, should be all good. Very fair pricing and maybe thats the dip you’re taking in the customer service side, lol! I would trust these guys in an emergency for my cats, I probably won’t come back except to pickup flea meds and such.

Expérience négative: I don’t even know where to begin with how infuriating my experience has been with this animal hospital. Their customer service is an absolute joke. Every time I call, they just transfer me to someone else without even checking if that person is actually available. So I get bounced around, put on hold endlessly, and STILL no one gives me a straight answer. As if that’s not bad enough, they are completely incapable of handling something as basic as mailing packages. They used the SAME PIN NUMBER for multiple deliveries, which has caused a complete mess. I can’t pick up my packages, the system is confused, and now I have to spend hours trying to fix something that was entirely their fault. Absolutely unacceptable. And just when you think they couldn’t be more greedy, they suddenly raise the minimum requirement for free delivery on online orders with no warning, no explanation – just more hoops for the customer to jump through. Because apparently, making life more difficult for paying clients is their specialty. This place is disorganized, careless, and has zero respect for their clients’ time or trust. I will never be coming back and I strongly advise others to stay far, far away.

Expérience fantastique: I have taken several cats and my dog to Atlas over the years. This morning we had a stressful situation because of my dog choking, but the vets and Gavin at the front desk showed exemplary service and got us in immediately, making sure my dog was healthy and looked after. This is my first choice for animal care. Also, the rates are extremely reasonable.

Deborah Harford Publié le Google 9 months ago

Expérience fantastique: Gavin at the front desk and Dr Mangat were both incredibly kind and helpful when we brought in our elderly husky shepherd suffering a health crisis in the middle of the night. Dr Mangat was professional, knowledgeable, and polite, and clearly explained our options while being reassuring and soothing to our poor dog. The service was incredibly reasonable - about 1/3 of the cost of some other animal emergency clinics. Thank you to the team for this great service in a particularly vulnerable and distressing situation.

Jaandy Jaandy Publié le Google 9 months ago

Expérience négative: I wasn't very satisfied with the result. They charge $30 for the consultation, and in the end, they have to perform very expensive tests, a total of $1,000. I feel like they only profit from the pain of the animals and their owners.

Sharon Campbell Publié le Google 9 months ago

Expérience positive: It was the only 24 hr hospital we knew so we took our cat there. Service is minimal, no frills kind of place. Don’t go there for the warm and fuzzy atmosphere. Receptionist and vet got straight to the point. Our cat sadly had to be put down but vet didn’t recommend a bunch of tests to likely save on costs as our cat was 18 and suddenly underwent paralysis overnight. The cost for the exam ($30) and cremation ($210) seemed reasonable. There were 2 very cute, fat cats there that seemed to be taken care of well.

Expérience négative: I went for vaccination and nail trimming of my 2 month puppy. Had nightmare experience. They were good at giving injection. However while trimming nail. They were very negligent. They trimmed so short for 2 paws that my puppy was bleeding profusely in the blanket. Was deeply sad about it. As they could easily avoid this situation by doing there work diligently with care. Or They could just refuse the work when they are not good at it.

Expérience négative: If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I had previously trusted Atlas Vet for minor issues like vaccines and paperwork, but when I brought my dog in for a more serious concern, the experience was very disappointing and frankly upsetting. The vet pushed me into paying hundreds of dollars for tests that ended up being unnecessary. He encouraged an extra x-ray that I specifically said didn’t seem needed - and indeed, it showed nothing. I also paid for a blood test solely because I was told my dog would be going into surgery later that day. But the surgery didn’t happen, and the test served no purpose. On top of that, they prescribed nearly $100 worth of antibiotics for a minor scratch that could have been treated with something simple like Neosporin. The scratch wasn’t even related to the issue we came in for. Getting follow-up on the test results required multiple phone calls from me, and when I finally spoke with the owner (Dr. Bhullar), I was shocked by his tone. He was condescending, repeatedly raised his voice, and seemed more focused on defending his experience than listening to my valid concerns. I found his behavior rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. My dog was also shaved across a large section of her back - far more than was necessary - leaving a huge bald spot, and again, this was for an issue that remains unresolved. No clear plan, no meaningful follow-up. After my visit, I spoke with several other vets in Vancouver who all confirmed that the tests and excessive shaving were unnecessary. I also now see many online reviews that echo my concerns, with even more serious outcomes. I wish I had checked Yelp first. I can no longer trust this clinic with my dog’s care. While the support staff were kind, the vet’s behavior and decisions left me feeling taken advantage of and deeply disappointed.

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been bringing my pup to Atlas since 2018 (had been highly recommended by a friend of mine at the time). I’ve always been grateful for the team there and the care they provide. I find them thorough, great listeners and communicators, always pleasant and welcoming, very skilled and trustworthy.

Expérience négative: I rarely leave reviews, but felt this one was necessary. My visit to this clinic was disappointing. Staff seemed rushed and dismissive, and showed little effort to communicate clearly. When I asked basic follow-up questions, I received vague responses — and at one point, a staff member made a remark in another language that came across as clearly mocking. That’s unprofessional, no matter the context. After checking against current guidelines from the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), I found the information I was given wasn’t in line with modern standards. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting respectful, up-to-date care.

Expérience négative: This vet sucks. They looked in my dogs ear for 1 second. Didn't even give a full checkup and sent her home with eardrops that made her lose her hearing. They also shaved her ears without asking us first. Google states that unless it's an emergency they should also consult with pet owners. And the way they treated this situation was not an emergency at all. They looked at it for one second and said she needs ear drops. I have taken 3 of my dogs to this vet only when it's after hours and they are open 24 hours. This vet is no good. STAY AWAY

Expérience fantastique: I had an outstanding experience at Atlas Hospital! The entire staff was warm, professional, and clearly cared deeply about animals. They treated my pet with so much love and patience, and took the time to explain everything in detail, which made me feel very reassured. The clinic was clean, well-organized, and welcoming. From the front desk to the vet technician and doctor, everyone went above and beyond to make the visit smooth and stress-free. My pet actually seemed calm and comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I’m truly grateful for the excellent care and highly recommend this clinic to any pet owner looking for compassionate and professional service. Thank you for taking such great care of my furry friend!

We brought him to Atlas at 2:00 am and they were quick, accommodating, and extremely reasonably priced. Expérience négative: Absolute trash of a vet. I wish i could do something more than just write this review. 3 months ago i took my cat in because he was puking. They come back and tell me hes in critical condition and that he was suffering and had a week or 2 most to live. They advised us to put him down and started handing us pamphlets on cremation. Went to another vet and guess what 3 months later my boy is still here, active and living his best life. By the way they racked me up for 3k to tell me i had to kill my cat thats currently alive and well 3 months later. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. Go to another vet any vet and ask them their thoughts on this place.

Expérience fantastique: I have been coming to Atlas for all my senior rescue dog’s shots and medical conditions for several years. They are fast, efficient, and the costs are very reasonable compared to other vets. I started coming here after once I was scammed by a vet in North van who charged 3000 for a 1 night stay when my dog had diarrhea that self resolved the day after… The treatments at Atlas have always worked and I don’t believe we have had an issue with misdiagnosis Last week, we noticed a rapidly enlarging mass on my dog’s bum. We took him to Atlas and the vet explained it was a tumour that would need to be removed. We wanted to take some time to think about it and get a second opinion so ended up going to another vet that was much more expensive the day after. That vet was not helpful and told us we would need labs and imaging and an initial biopsy prior to referral to a surgical specialist that would probably end up costing 10k or more. She could not even tell us what the surgery would be like or what the chance of success is. Also the wait time for all of this would mean multiple visits for the pre op exams and wouldn’t be able to see the specialist until April. At that point, our dog might already be dead due to bowel obstruction. We were at first hesitant about doing surgery at Atlas, because we had never had surgery here and did not know what this would entail. Also we had seen some scary reviews on Google and Reddit. However, We came back today as the tumour has kept enlarging and our dog was in a lot of discomfort. Dr. Bhullar saw us today and was so kind and considerate. He explained that our dog for sure needed the surgery and all the pre-op assessments could be done today right away. He reassured me that the surgery was safe and walked me through it. This was far beyond what the other vet at the other clinic could do. After the pre-op, he showed me the x rays, explained them and the lab work, and then proceeded to do the surgery. The surgery only took 10-15 minutes! This was way less stressful or complicated than what the other clinic said it would be (they had implied he would need a surgeon and probably have to stay in hospital for days). To give some context: I brought my dog in at 1pm, he had labs and x ray done by 1:50pm, and by 2:30pm we were done! Our dog was brought out in great condition. He came home and his bum looks great, there are clear post op instructions and he is already back to his normal self just hours after surgery. He is eating and drinking well, just a little annoyed at having a cone of shame on. I’m a doctor in my day job, and I truly believe the best surgeons and doctors are those with experience. You don’t need to go to the fancy clinics that charge you an arm and leg if those clinics don’t have vets who have experience. They’re expensive because it’s expensive to have fancy facilities and renovations and rent is expensive. A surgeon who operates 1000x will always be better than a surgeon who operates less. I believe dr Bhullar is incredibly skilled given his experience and the volume he sees. He did a great job today with my dog, in an extremely timely and cost effective manner. He is also very good with animals. My dog who is normally very anxious calmed down immediately with him. I’m not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews for this clinic. Everyone’s experiences are different but mine has been consistently positive here. If you’re looking for a fancy shiny office, this isn’t the place for you. But if you want an experienced vet who knows his stuff, Dr, Bhullar is excellent. I would recommend to take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. Photos show before and after mass removal. I will post an update in 10 days when sutures are removed. Update: sutures came out today without any issue. Skin and incision site healed great.

Expérience négative: Do NOT bring your pet to this place. This clinic is a scam, preying on worried pet owners for money. I’ve brought my dog here before, but after what happened tonight, I’ll never return—and I warn everyone to stay away. My tiny dog, who has known patella issues, was shaking and low-energy, so I took her to the ER out of concern. The red/orange-haired vet acted totally unprofessional—rushed, aggressive, and frankly looked like they were on something. No proper communication, no clear diagnosis—just took her temp, listened to her heart, then immediately demanded blood tests, X-rays, and 24-hour hospitalization. Then handed me a $1,500 bill like it was nothing. No explanation, no discussion, just “sign this” and gone. They saw a purebred dog and thought: easy money. Absolutely disgusting. This place is not about care—it’s about cash.
