Fantastic experience: This vet is the only I trust! They’re kind and understanding and they always tell you as it is. Affordable and they don’t try to get you to pay for things that you don’t need! I will always come here for my pet’s needs EDIT: 5 years later and this is still such an amazing vet I’d send anyone here. They are always kind, affordable, realistic, and timely. Love love love!

Negative experience: Im really not a person to leave bad reviews but I have never seen such a lack of professionalism from a company before. I brought my cat for an appointment where we waited 40 minutes before we were seen. The vet only stayed a mere 5 minutes and told me my cat had eczema and sent me home with chlorhexidine??? I was charged a deposit for the appointment which was not deducted and had to pay almost double for the appointment. They then offer me to do a skin test for the lab which why couldnt they have offered in the first place They are disorganised and have no idea when their vets work. They are unable to give me an appointment until the last minute. Im never bringing my cat again

Fantastic experience: Dr. Josée was so patient and attentive, went all out to help our dog. We truly appreciate all her effort. She showed so much care and compassion for our dog. Once again, muchas gracias. The young lady, Jasmine, at the front desk is a sweetheart! The clinic is super clean, well located, and there was almost no wait time. During our visit, we felt very comfortable and well taken care of. Encore merci!

Negative experience: I have been with this vet for 6 years since my dog was born. Overall it has been extremely disappointing and I wish I had left earlier than I did. There's no consistency in terms of which vet sees the animal and several times there was a veterinarian who seemed completely incompetent and was more interested in talking about his family issues then addressing concerns related to my dog. Today was the last straw. I called in advance to make sure the appointment time could be respected which they assured me it would be. When I arrived, they said there was a double booking due to a new system and there would be a big delay.

Fantastic experience: Personel attentioné et à l'écoute qui offre de bons conseils et fait preuve de transparence. Les vétérinaires sont respectueux, empathiques et ont clairement le bien-être des animaux à coeur. Les tests sont fait sur place et les resultats sont communiqués rapidement.

Negative experience: je demande des info au téléphone je demande juste à la dame de répété s'il vous plaiît veux tu un courriel je lui dis non c'est pour cela je vous appel toute une réceptionniste j'ai dit regarder ses beau mesdame pense on parle pas le même français pour du bon service bonne journée faut tu être bête mais pas a epur près vendredi approche mesdame la réceptionniste ne lâche pas !

Negative experience: Rien à redire sur les services de la vétérinaire. Elle est super. Par contre le service à clientèle au comptoir fait dur, sous prétexte de « short staffing ». La politique de retour des commandes est obscure et écrite en tout petit. Pas impressionné.

Fantastic experience: Je vais à cette clinique depuis 9 ans avec mon chien et même si je n’habite plus du tout dans le coin, je continue à y aller car je leur fais confiance à 100%. J’ai eu l’occasion de voir Dre Cléroux à mes deux dernières visites et c’est une vétérinaire très gentille et qui prend le temps d’expliquer toutes les options.

Fantastic experience: Très humain, très professionnel. J’ai déménagé cette année, c’est notre nouvelle clinique vétérinaire et c’est la meilleure que nous ayons eu depuis longtemps. J’ai un petit cockers âgé et épileptique (et 2 chats). Les vétérinaires sont toujours présents rassurants disponibles compréhensifs et ne poussent pas aux dépenses.

Negative experience: My file has been with them since 2021-07-14. The vet doctors that I have been dealing with thus far are 4/5 star rating but the whole administration gets a 1/5 star and here's the reasoning for it. In my opinion and based on another vet clinic that I have checked out, Clinique rue Ontario has been constantly breaching the privacy (at the moment it is 3 times within the year of the first incident). first one occurred May 24,2024. I was out of the country and I received a receipt of almost 600$. This was a miscommunication I guess between my roommate and the Clinique in regards to the cat so I let it slide. I have asked them in email to please mark that unless it is my specific phone number or my specific email address calling to not make any appointments and that I ask the staff to confirm the approved personnel is bringing so I don't have this incident again. Around December 12, 2024. I called them to let them know to please close the file of this specific cat as she has a new owner and the owner will contact her. Moving forward I should not be receiving any communication about her. second incident: April 9,2025. I received not even a call but a text message that apparently there is an appointment on Friday. I call confused only to find out not only did they re-open the cat's file but as well they authorized a COMPLETE STRANGER TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT under my name. At this point I'm livid and start losing it and told them to close the file and not to contact me again. They reassured me that it was closed. Third Incident: April 30,2025. I get a voicemail from them that the new owner is at the location, they re-opened my file once again to get authorization after I told them back on dec.10, 2024 that she is no longer at my care and to close the file. I call them back right away and the lady is confused about what's happening and has no knowledge. At this point I told her that this is ridiculous that I'm having the same issue for the past year, let alone twice within the same month. I don't know what's happening with them but ask me back in 2021 if I would recommend the Clinique, I would say 1000% yes. Ask me as of today on April 30,2025, I would not recommend them at all to my friends. I told them that I am expecting a call from the owner/ one of the partners within the next month to discuss this issue and we will see if they will hold up their end. Update: November 3,2025 The most they’ve done is respond to my review. I ended up having to book another appointment because I haven’t found another clinic that’s more affordable and close to my house. They said that the issue has been resolved in their system is false. They still have an email on record of person I no longer talk to and has no authorization to contact them. ‍♀️

Positive experience: I have always had good experiences with these vets and they extended my cat’s life by two years after a critical diagnosis of hyperthyroidism. One thing I will say is that when the cat is already on the death table, maybe that is not the time to discuss arrangements. I was ready and able to talk about what I wanted for my cat after I got her critical diagnosis, and I hated being pestered by the vet technician when I was with her in her final moments. I think an inpromvement in procedure could be had for pets in end of life. That being said, they are fantastic veterinarians. I will miss my Margaret so much. And I thank both Dre Poirier and Dre Brazzini for doing so much for my cat who was not always kind to them in return. I could never be a veterinarian. I thank everyone at this clinic for this help. Negative experience: WARNING: DO NOT TRUST THIS CLINIC This place is a total scam. The doctor gave me an appointment for my pregnant pet. They clearly said a 30-minute appointment was enough for the ultrasound and everything needed and then we had to reschdule becouse we were out of toen so we reschdule becouse first their was already the appointment made for the ultrasound and on 11 for spay !! now they are like nooo first has to be consulting and then ultra sound and i saw alot of bad reviews. for communication i guess they should defiantly look for a new receptionist

Positive experience: Very friendly and professional

Negative experience: Vraiment très déçu du service reçu. J’appelle la veille de mon rendez-vous pour prendre rendez-vous. La veille du rendez-vous une toileteuse de mon chien lui a vidée les glandes anales et à eu petit saignement. En appelant j’explique le problème à la secrétaire celle qui prend rendez-vous et me dit une technicienne est capable de faire ça une vidange de glandes. C’est environ 60$. J’ai accepté le rendez-vous pour voir une TECHNICIENNE. Un peu avant le rendez-vous ou de saignement dans les selles tout va bien. Donc au lieu d’annuler je me dis par respect je vais me rendre au rendez-vous et voir ce que la TECHNICIENNE va me dire. Rendu sur place avec mon chien dans cette clinique. La personne ne se présente pas donc dans ma tête c’est une technicienne. Lors du paiement on me charge une consultation avec vétérinaire alors que je n’ai jamais consenti à voir un vétérinaire. La secrétaire me m’était en plage de rendez-vous avec une tech. Donc soyez vigilant et demandez le nom et le titre d’emploi de la personne pour éviter de vous faire prendre.

Negative experience: Twice in the past few months i brought in a cat with an injured claw. The first cost $200, the second was almost double. Exactly the same injury, actually the first was worse. First visit was simple. Anti-bacterial drugs and that was it. The second visit was altogether different. During that visit she initially said it wasnt serious at all requiring no intervention. I didnt want to risk coming back so i asked about anti-biotics. Then she takes a second look and decides he actually does need anti-biotics and intervention. She freezes the paw and bandaged it (which fell off within 30 minutes). The visit turned into a 90 minute affair, so that she could make that silly bandage. Frankly, everything provided beyond the antibiotics was a waste. First, i think they need to inform clients upfront on service charges to avoid surprises at the end. Second, be clear about necessary and unnecessary services. I have had good service here in the past. So this was disappointing.

Negative experience: I’ve come to this vet a few times for my new puppy and I’ve tried to give it so many chances but unfortunately have chosen to change vets. I want to preface that the staff have been really nice and kind and there is generally availability for immediate appointments, but overall that’s where the pros end. My experience here has been extremely disorganized, slow, and expensive. (1) The first call I made to make a new appointment for a first time client was awfully slow. I told the reception the age of my puppy and I was looking for his distemper vaccines. The reception did not appear to have any knowledge of dogs from the conversation we had and the difficulty we experienced in creating his profile. I put it aside as perhaps a french/english language barrier. (2) I came for my appointment a few days later and was notified that the prior receptionist made an incorrect appointment. Since it was a first visit, it had to be with the vet. They had no one available and asked me to come in the next day at the same time to which I agreed. (3) I came in the next day and they told me I had no appointment on record. However, there was a vet available after surgery. I ended up waiting an extra hour to be seen for my appointment. (4) During this appointment, the vet told me that for our next appointment, my dog can have three vaccines at once, although recommended 2. She did confirm that 3 was okay. However, when I came in for that round of vaccinations, I was told we would only be doing 2. The cost of seeing a tech was equivalent to the cost of two vaccinations. $85 for seeing a tech alone (the highest I’ve ever seen) as well as taking 25 mins to get the vaccinations ready. (These have typically taken 5 mins for my other dogs at other clinics). (5) I was also told that since we did my puppy’s first round of vaccines at a younger age, the vet wanted me to give a fourth round of boosters (standard is 3). The tech said it was because he was under 15 weeks and they should be boosted to 16 weeks (but he was 15 weeks and 1 day at the time and he would be around 19 weeks for his 4th boosters). I feel like the clinic should have informed me when I was requesting my first appointment that if we start younger, a 4th set would be required.

Negative experience: Dre Cléroux aucunement professionnelle . Nous as fermé la porte au visage nous a même pas dit aucunement BYE car nous avons pas accepté de euthanasié notre chatte sur le moment car notre fils était pas présent avec nous et c’était impossible que je fasse cela sans lui car ces sa chatte c’était son animal à lui mon petit gars !!!!!!! Mon expérience avec cette clinique es un gros zéro ce n’est pas humains de dire à quelqu’un qu’il n’y a plus rien à faire et qu’elle va décédé dans quelques heures mais lorsqu’elle voit la peine énorme de ma fille tout d’un coup elle peu PEUT ÊTRE essayer quelques chose mais pour un MoNtant estime à 2000$ :( ET CELA Avec 30% de chance seulement ma chatte es morte dans les heures qui ont suivi donc sont PEUT ÊTRE ET SON GROS MONTANT elle le savait en maudit qui avait plus rien. L’argent rien que l’argent eux je peux pas parler pour le reste de l’équipe car je ne les ai pas côtoyé mais elle par contre

Fantastic experience: Brought in a reactive and behaviourally difficult dog for some shots. The vet was extremely helpful in laying out options for vaccine scheduling and working within our budget. Frédérick the technician went above and beyond helping me wrangle the little guy when it was time to go home. Merci à toustes!

Fantastic experience: They are very gentle with the animals. My pet has been here for vaccines and all her medical history we also did a surgery here , am pleased with how they handled my dog l know she is safe . My only dissatisfaction is the timing but otherwise we are in safe hands

Negative experience: Pire clinique vétérinaire de l'Estrie, suite à une obstruction de la gorge à mon chat, la clinique m'informe qu'aucun médecin n'est sur place. On me réfère à leur seconde clinique où seulement deux médecins sont disponibles, mais on refuse de traiter mon chat pour ne pas saturer la place. On me réfère ensuite à une troisième clinique affiliée, toujours pareil. Je suis passé à leurs trois cliniques pour finalement me fier à moi-même, sans aucun avis/truc de la part des employés. De plus, le dossier de mon chat n'est plus dans le système. Bref, si cette clinique m'a apporté une chose, c'est la nécessité de faire affaire avec une clinique privée

Negative experience: Mauvaise surprise en mauvaise surprise. L'équipe est très courtoise et gentille, mais cela fait 10 ans que je vais à cette clinique pour 3 animaux - deux en particulier - et on nous charge et nous charge constamment pour tout. Une prescription à envoyer à deux pharmacies, on me dit qu'on doit charger deux fois les honoraires du vétérinaire. Sinon, mon chien est réactif et ne veut pas être touché par les étrangers, alors que la clinique Ontario ne comprend pas cela et va nous charger une pleine consultation même si c'est 5 minutes, je vais à une autre clinique réputée sur le Plateau qui nous a pas du tout chargé, même pas 50% de la consultation, mis à part les médicaments. Bien sûr que les cliniques doivent charger les services, elles sont privées, mais je trouve que la clinique Ontario est de moins en moins agréable à visiter. Je fais moins confiance à leur diagnostic, j'ai l'impression qu'on veut que mon argent. En plus, ils ont perdu le Dr Meder, en qui j'avais bien confiance, bien que le consulter lui était plus cher. Je suis déçue, j'aimais bien cette clinique qui était mieux réputée avant. Maintenant, elle est rendue avec moins d'étoiles.

Negative experience: 33 dollars to have them send your prescription to another vet, even if you go in person to pick it up not only that now they wont even give me a prescription because they made a mistake and never told me he needed to be seen since 2023 but wrongfully was still prescribing the pills when they were not suppose to, so now they are telling me i cannot get them back i have to do another consultation. this place not only makes huge mistakes but does not own up to it or do anything to accommodate you. Do not go here, royal vet is 10x better.

Fantastic experience: Quel bon service en urgence! Le Dr Brazzini-Poisson a pris grand soin de notre petite chatte. Elle a aussi pris le temps de tout nous expliquer et de nous poser plein de questions. Tout le personnel était hyper gentil et chaleureux! Une de mes meilleures expériences chez un vétérinaire. Mille mercis! Notre petite chouette va déjà beaucoup mieux!

Fantastic experience: L'équipe fait vraiment attention de bien trouver le problème de l'animal et s'assure d'aider pour de vrai. C'est apprécié qu'ils fassent un suivi pour être sûr que l'animal se porte mieux. De plus ils sont compréhensif en cas de budget limité et savent nous guider vers la bonne option.

Fantastic experience: J’amène mon chien dans cette clinique vétérinaire depuis un certain temps, et je suis toujours très satisfaite de leur service. L’équipe est incroyablement chaleureuse et professionnelle, toujours à l’écoute et prête à répondre à toutes mes questions. Ce que j’apprécie particulièrement, c’est leur flexibilité pour modifier les rendez-vous en cas de besoin, ce qui est vraiment pratique. De plus, les prix sont non seulement raisonnables, mais aussi totalement transparents, sans mauvaises surprises. C’est une clinique en qui j’ai entièrement confiance, et je la recommande vivement à tous ceux qui recherchent un excellent vétérinaire !

Fantastic experience: Best clinic, lots of attention to my cats and dogs. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, with 2 of them with big kidney and allergy issues and i was always well received. I have good follow-up and people are always courteous and friendly. There are just amazing. I am going there since the opening of the clinic and never had a bad experience. I recommend it to anybody! Can never thank you enough guys for what you did for my angels.

Negative experience: En mai 2024 on me donne des comprimés d’antibiotiques pour deux traitements pour un problème récurrent pour mon chat. Le premier traitement n’étant pas assez efficace, j’ai dû le prolonger avec 1/4 du 2e traitement. Nous sommes en février 2025, mon chat a des symptômes, il me manque quelques jours de traitement puisqu’ils ont été utilisés en mai, et on me dit que je dois refaire une consultation (123$+ taxes) pour ravoir une prescription, m’empêchant de terminer le traitement en cours! C’est franchement un gros manque de jugement et c’est la goutte d’eau qui fait déborder le vase. Ça fait des années que je vais à cette clinique et mon chat ne va pas mieux. Dès le début on ne m’a pas informé sur les options de traitement, en me donnant un sirop à saveur de caramel qui expire après quelques jours, peu pratique et plus désagréable à recevoir pour mon chat, alors que des comprimés existaient (j’ai dû moi-même le demander - la vétérinaire consultée aujourd’hui ne savais pas que ça existait…). Cette fois, je change de clinique. Et ça commence déjà avec un point positif: 18$ moins cher la consultation! Ajouts supplémentaires (14 février 2025): La personne à l’accueil n’est vraiment pas la plus accueillante et sa réponse passive agressive (« la vétérinaire ne travaille pas gratuitement ») à mon questionnement sur les frais horaires en plus de la sédation que j’ai vus (en ayant à demander à voir les détails de la facture) en surprise au moment de payer manquait de professionnalisme. Me faire nettoyer le vomi de mon chat suite à la piqûre pour l’endormir, j’ai trouvé ça ordinaire aussi comme service. Apparemment les frais horaires ont été mentionnés avant, mais malgré que nous étions deux personnes présentes lors de la consultation, nous n’avons pas compris, vu le terme utilisé pour les nommer qui ont été confondus avec les frais de consultation pour la visite. J’ai trouvé inquiétant, également, que la vétérinaire me dise qu’il n’y avait pas de sécrétions nasales pour envoyer un échantillon au laboratoire et que j’ai dû lui montrer qu’il y en avait plein en appuyant sur une narine. Je m’excuse de l’avoir froissée en lui en faisant part avant de quitter, mais je souhaitais partager mes dernières frustrations avant qu’on ne me revoit plus jamais dans cette clinique où le manque de compétence s’est accumulé beaucoup trop en 8 ans. Je voulais quitter plus tôt, mais la pandémie a retardé cela, puis je leur ai donné d’autres chances, mais je n’aurais pas dû.

Fantastic experience: Super vet, ils m’ont donné des Meds pour mon chat gratuitement quand la version en crème tardait à être livré. Ils sont toujours de bonne humeur. Super place

Negative experience: ⚠️ Aggressive, Rushed, and Overpriced – Avoid! I strongly advise against bringing your pet here. My mother and I brought our 5-month-old kitten for her first checkup, and the experience was deeply upsetting. The vet rushed through the exam, handled our kitten roughly (despite her being very calm), and even caused one of her baby teeth to dislodge during the inspection. Worse, he threw the tooth away without asking if we wanted to keep it—a small gesture that matters to pet owners. The fees were also far higher than nearby clinics. We immediately canceled future appointments and switched to **Tout Chat Tou** (a few blocks away), which was **night-and-day better**. Their team (mostly women) was gentle, affordable, and clearly passionate about animals. They even remarked how sweet our kitten was! Choose kindness for your pet—skip this clinic . ⚠️

Fantastic experience: Dr. Caroline made my cat and I feel so comfortable and calm! Fantastic professionalism, answered all my questions and made me feel like she was on our side! Prices are good for how excellent quality of care is, cannot recommend enough!!

Fantastic experience: This is definitely the place for you and your furbaby. Trust me, I have a mini schnauzer. She had a UTI, Arianes vet didnt have any openings. A friend suggested ER for pets. Big mistske. They soaked 560 out of me without fixing the issue. I will not trust my girl with anyone else.

Fantastic experience: I want to convey my profound gratitude to Dr. Caroline Picard for taking such good care of my cat Willow. Also a mention that the clinic's staff as far as I'm concerned went above and beyond in customer service. They took the time to check in regularly with Dr. Picard to ask if things were going well during the procedure and came to talk to me to distract me and calm me. I will be forever grateful to them.

Fantastic experience: Wow what a treat this place is. I brought my friends pet here to help them get through a close call. What we thought was an obstruction in the stomach turned out to be string in the back of the mouth and a bit stuck lower down. They did value added service type favors, unasked, and were very patient with educating my friend. I plan to bring my own pets here in future. I especially reccomend Dr Picard.

Fantastic experience: I'm writing to thank Dr.Meder and Dr.Girard for really going above and beyond to help during a very rough couple of months. A situation when our cherished cat "Mini"(light brown cat) became very sick and she rapidly succomed to a very aggressive cancer. They always made time in their very busy schedules to guide us through our options during this very traumatic time, in person and with telephone follow ups .Just a month earlier we brought our aging 16 year old cat "Cocotte"(black cat)who was treated for a urinary infection and she is doing great. Both of our cats were treated so professionally with compassion, I really want to thank you both and the staff of Clinique Vétérinaire rue Ontario.

Fantastic experience: They have the best service! Dr Meder is the best with my dog, you can tell he truly cares :) The rest of the staff is amazing as well, with a great service and following up with anything concerned to next appointments or even just to check how good is my dog doing after his appointment.

Negative experience: They are too greedy, I just moved from here because I don’t see any interest or care for animal, everything is money to them. Also customer service is bad and insensitive, so thank you and bye!

Fantastic experience: I was worried after I adopted a kitty, as she seemed to have a bad cold. I got an appointment the same day. Kitty (Zoé) is on antibiotics and doing better. Merci, Dr. Girard! Update, July 9th: Another amazing experience. My kitty, Zoé, stopped eating and I was extremely concerned. She was also having trouble going #2. I was able to secure an appointment on a Sunday and Dr. Meder solved her intestinal blockage on the spot. The blood test results were available immediately since they have the lab on site. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Meder and all the super-kind staff. You helped Zoé (and me) so much! ❤️

Negative experience: I will never return to this clinic again and I am sorry for this clinic for hiring such rude staff, especially in a place where the most important thing is how the staff interact with you and your pet. The girl with the bangs at the counter behaved very rudely. They lied to me several times. When I requested to speak with the management, they said we have no manager . This means there is no one to address any issues that may arise regarding you and your pet. Additionally, their cameras do not record anything, leaving you with no evidence in case of a problem. The clinic is manned by impolite girl with bangs, including an orange-haired girl, who may team up to insult you due to the absence of management and lack of surveillance footage.

Fantastic experience: Nous allons cette clinique depuis plusieurs années et sommes très satisfaits des soins et services. Nous avons malheureusement du faire euthanasier un de nos chats, toute l'équipe a été extrêmement humains, nous laissant le temps nécessaire pour nous et nos enfants avant d'être prêts a lui dire au revoir. Nous avons apprécié la douceur des soins de confort et le temps qui nous a été laissé une fois l'euthanasie faites avant de quitter la clinique. Positive experience: Always a great experience, it's reassuring to find a clinic that you trust. Can't say the same about their online appointment service as it seems to just be for show. Just give them a call instead!

Negative experience: I took my cat here for his yearly check-up. While scheduling the appointment went smoothly, I was disappointed with the vet's examination. The vet only weighed my cat, listened to his heart for a mere couple of seconds, and glanced over his body hastily. It felt like the examination was rushed and lacked thoroughness. It really felt pointless taking the cat for a checkup here.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Caroline and team run a fantastic clinic. They are extremely thoughtful, kind and caring. When my cat fell ill, they were the ones to notice and provide guidance. They were practical and didn’t oversell or push unnecessary services. Dr. Caroline and the entire team and patient and actually take the time to listen carefully before providing solutions and options. When my cat eventually passed away after extensive cancer treatments (at the emergency vet hospital), Ontario Vet clinic heard about it (by following up on the phone) and they sent a personalized card and really went above and beyond. Thank you to everyone who’s a part of this amazing team.

Fantastic experience: As usual, Dr. Stephane Meder Vincileoni takes superb care of my cats! We are lucky and oh so blessed to have such a competent and kind soul! Thank you :-) this man is a saint. My cats LOVE him, and he adores animals ❤️ I live in Laval, and refuse to go anywhere else. Commute be damned! I first stepped in this clinic when it was still under construction, and Dr. Charles took such good care of my baby, even spending the night trying to prevent my cat from breaking out of its cage LOL! I trust them completely!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Giroud was astounding as well as all the staff. I have a 21 year old toy poodle that my previous vet had prescribed incorrect medication for based on his age. Dr. Giroud and the other gentleman doctor there figured out what was wrong. Hew was dying, but it is over a year now since they save his life.

Fantastic experience: Clean no wait, doctor a bit to judgemental about how she think we don't does not do properly our job as pet master. Had to tell her, she kept thinking she was above me, but we all know vet are not so good person, they only want money.

Fantastic experience: Kindest vets I've ever done business with, who respect the concept of someone being on a budget and honest enough not to push anything unnecessary onto you to line their pockets as much as possible. Extremely reasonable prices, will make efforts to find all ways possible to lower the bill if your finances are limited. I'm from the complete other side of the city, yet I'll take the trip any day to bring my cats there rather than literally anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: For the past 4 years I had been taking my cat here, but as a very anxious cat, I had my concerns. However all the vets who provided care for her were able to make her feel at ease. Everyone at this clinic is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It is clear to me that they genuinely care for their pet patients. They are a busy clinic, but they are diligent with communication, are incredibly helpful and will remind you when something is needed or recommended. I am happy to have chosen them.

Negative experience: I took an appointment online, filled out the form, provided very detailed info about my recently adopted cat, and weeks later still no call or follow up of any kind. Speaks volumes. Wow. I ended up taking an appointment with another clinic on Decarie in MTL, and they called me back the following day and I had an appointment days later. Very poor costumer service from Clinique Vétérinaire Rue Ontario. Go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here is extremely friendly and helpful, we had been with two vet here and both of them are very professional and kind. Also the charge is reasonable, open at the weekend is a plus. Last week we just lost our dog of 16 years, this clinic offered professional and warmth euthanasia service which helped us get through the heartbreaking decision and hard time. We will come back once we have a new baby dog.

Everyone who worked there were super kind and friendly, you can tell these people really care for your pet and want to help you as much as they can! The vet was very gentle and caring with my cat, he didn’t rush, answered every question I had and focused on my pet’s specific needs! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: My partner and I responded to a call to foster, and ended up adopting our foster cat! There were some bumps along the way--our (older) cat had some health issues--but the staff was always there to help. They taught a lot about cats, and really supported us in making decisions that were best for us and our cat. (I mean, our cat went in for surgery, and they let us visit her during her in-patient stay, and even remembered us, and her! Knowing we were worried about her, they even emailed us photos of her while she stayed at the office for observation!) They didn't rush us, and made sure that we had all the needed information every step of the way. Visits were thorough--they clearly demonstrated a care for and competency in working with animals--and they demonstrated any new change to our cat's lifestyle (i.e. giving her medication) to make sure we knew what to do. Our volunteer-liaison has kept in touch with us after we adopted our cat, and made sure that the process went smoothly. Any problems or questions we have are thoroughly explained during visits or calls into the office. Beyond this, their prices are fair, and they are bilingual. They have convenient hours, they carry a range of food/accessories/etc for pets, they are professional...I'm not sure what else to say, I only wish that I lived a little bit closer! I cannot speak highly enough of this practice, and have recommended it to friends. My partner and I are happy to be "foster fails," and the support of this clinic helped us to be successful adopted parents to our lovely cat.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client here for a few years and I can never recommend this clinic enough. The staff and the doctors are exceptional. You can tell how dedicated they are. They are straight forward yet empathetic. They will explore all options for you, as everyone’s situations is different. They go above and beyond. I can’t thank them enough for their service and how much they have helped my cat. By far the best Vet clinic!

Negative experience: I called there 3 weeks ago and still not had a call back. Not to worry, I found anyther vet somewhere else. They have this big sign in their window about being a Consumer's choice 2023 business. How on earth can you get ANY award for 2023 with is is barely the beginning for the year? Waste of my time. The pictures where taken earlier today but I assure you that I called feb 2nd and that big sign was there then.

My cat has a harsh temperament but Dr Meder here has been able to deal with her with ease and my cat, even though she doesn't enjoy being touched all over, I can tell she feels comfortable with this Doctor

Fantastic experience: Great first visit with them, I'm really happy with the general exam they did for my new senior cat, and the advice I was given to keep him well

Fantastic experience: Though I had to wait 20 minutes before seeing the doctor (which is the only con but hey it happens!), the experience deserves a 5/5. The doctor was patient and really explained what I needed to do to help my cat, he even asks for follow ups to see how she's doing with her meds! Throughout the vets I've seen this clinic is the best so far :)

Fantastic experience: I was in a desperate situation, and Charles Veterinary Clinic came through! My dog has lymphoma and is coping. What made things worse was a broken nail that needed to be removed immediately to help with his mobility. They gave me an appointment the same day within 2hrs of my arrival to book it. They understood the immediacy, my desperation, and my deep love for my dog. They did the emergency surgery within an hour and he is on the road to recovery and is getting better. They showed humanity and compassion for the situation and came through with flying colors. Merci!
