Expérience fantastique: We had an unfortunate incident that left our sweet girl, Shelby, needing emergency surgery to repair a serious bite wound. It was a Saturday night intake, the kind of situation no pet owner ever wants to face, and from the moment we walked through the doors, we knew we were in the right place. After the initial surgery, it became clear that the wound was not healing as expected because of how severe it was. The team recommended a second procedure along with a more specialized bandaging approach. It was completely the right decision. What could have felt overwhelming was made manageable because of the calm, thoughtful guidance we received every step of the way. For nearly a month, we made the 2.5 hour round trip every day to every other day for bandage changes. Shelby finally “graduated,” and we could not be more grateful. Every single vet, technician, and member of the reception team treated us with such care, respect, and compassion. For the first week or two, I cried almost every time I walked in. No one ever rushed me or brushed off my worries. They answered every question, offered practical recommendations, and supported our entire family through what felt like a very long and emotional month. We did consider transferring her bandage changes to our local vet, but the cost would have been nearly double. More importantly, the continuity of care and the genuine investment this team showed in Shelby made the decision easy. They lowered costs wherever possible, were transparent about options, and consistently focused on what was best for her healing. Shelby is more than a pet. She is part of our home and our everyday life. Watching her heal and return to herself has meant everything to us. This clinic did not just repair a wound. They carried us through a difficult season with expertise, kindness, and heart. We will always be grateful for the care Shelby received here. Thank you for treating her, and our family, with such compassion.

Expérience fantastique: They were kind and didn't push any specific treatment. They just gave us the information, answered our questions patiently and then stepped out to give us time to talk it out. It was very helpful during a difficult time. We will definitely go back if another emergency arises.

Expérience négative: Trying to bring my dog in because we fear she doesn’t have much time left, appeared to have a stroke sometime late last night so rushed to the emergency vet hours ago. we have been waiting for 2 hours as they have let multiple other dogs go in ahead of mine who appear to be fine. asked how much longer it would be and the receptionist pretty much told me that the dog who just walked in and went right into the room “doesn’t have much wrong with it so it should’ve quick” so why aren’t you seeing my dog who’s struggling? Receptionist with blond hair and acne is terribly condescending and has horrible customer service. this place is horrible

Expérience fantastique: Truly kind caring team, i took my hamster late at night they were swamped but took a quick exam for me and don’t. Even charge me and assured me the hamster was ok. Any other vet would have charged at the very least they really take the time and care for your pets will be back 100%! Than you

Expérience fantastique: This week was the toughest and most heartbreaking situation for our family. Our sweet 11 month old kitty suffered from a heart defect and we had to make the tough decision to put him down. This was at the wee hours of the night and the staff at campus estates was so welcoming. They treated us with so much care and compassion. We also appreciate the honest and direct conversation from the vet to help us make a very tough decision but ultimately what was the best for our baby. The staff was amazing and compassionate. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

Expérience positive: Sunday afternoon we were referred to Campus Estates for our cat. When we arrived, they were ready for us and took him in right away. It was a short wait before being placed in a room. Dr. Kendra came in and was extremely kind and caring, while also being honest and up front. They shared costs as we went and prior to any testing or additional exams, being completely transparent and informative. All together, we were seen, tested, given a dx and prescription and on our way home with an hour and a half. I greatly appreciated the kindness of everyone working here and would highly recommend Dr. Kendra.

Expérience fantastique: We brought our dog Buddy in late last night for an emergency and Dr. Julia was able to see him and take some X-rays regarding his coughing and wheezing. I know it’s only been a day, but knowing they are open 24 hours a day and was able to see him the same day was so comforting. She is so good and kind to both Buddy and his brother Oliver. Thank you all so much for squeezing us in short notice and being our sense of comfort.

Expérience négative: I would not recommend Campus Estates for small animal check ups and care, specifically, in our case we brought in our Guinea pigs. We have visited them on two separate occasions for two of our Guinea pigs. On both occasions the advice we were given ended in selling us medication as, in their words, a band aid solution. Our most recent visit was for our older Guinea pig who was having problems chewing. Aside from their “bandaid solution” their only advice was to put him under anesthesia (which could result in death) too get a better diagnosis however we would need to book this 2-3 weeks out, syringe feeding him during this time. We brought up euthanasia however this was brushed off and instead we were quoted up to $1000 for a surgery that possibly may not answer, much less solve any problems and bring him back for a recheck if things got worse which seemed inevitable. We wanted a second opinion and within 10mins of checking our piggy we were told their jaw was misaligned and given their age there was little that could be done with lasting positive results. The staff are nice but I just get the sense that they do not have a lot of experience working with small animals such as guinea pigs, yet we were referred to them by other vet clinics in KW, where we live, on multiple occasions. Our second opinion came from Huron East Animal Hospital who we would recommend for anyone in KW with a Guinea pig.

Expérience fantastique: Brought my Viper Gecko here on an emergency basis, had me in and looked at very quickly. They told me my options and where stright forward with chances of survival which was much appreciated, never felt like I was being chained along for fees or being guilt tripped like some other vets do. Unfortunately my gecko still passed but peacefully due to the care and info I got here.

Expérience négative: I will start off by saying this is MY experience, and one that is 100 percent TRUTHFUL. I brought in my dog with an extended belly on a Wednesday. The vet was very kind and stated that she believed that he may have Cushings, and that they could do a blood test that takes half a day at a price of approx $500 or they could do an ultrasound, done by a specialist which would be $899. I asked which would be best, she stated that the Ultra sound would tell us what exactly is going on and she would opt for that. So we made an appointment for the next day. Was told to bring him in at 11 am. I did that, at approx 3 pm I called the office they said they were just doing the Ultrasound then. At approx 5 pm I call and they said that the Vet would call me at 630pm. I was VERY worried about him so I was anxiously awaiting the call. At 630pm the vet called and her first comment was we need to keep him here for 4 days for fluids. She then proceeded to inform me that he has something with is kidney's and that a biopsy would be needed, then she mentioned his gallbladder and that it could be fatal, then mentioned the removal of the gallbladder then went onto to mention another type of surgical procedure. So for the next 40 minutes this vet spoke in complete circles and riddles about 3 surgeries and the approximate price of each surgery! She made no mention of cushings disease. My daughter was listening in on the convo, as I was literally falling apart listening to this. As you are all pet owners, then you would know the anguish I was feeling. At the end she asks if bloodwork and urine tests can be done, I stated that I already gave permission for this and why would it not have been done already. She has no response. She stated that she would call me back in an hour. An hour came and went, but then I receive a call from reception that the vet is busy and will call me at 11:30 PM!!! I said I would be coming to pickup my dog, and to have any medication ready. This girl proceeds to tell me that I can not get my dog! I know I did raise my voice, however I wasn't screaming like a madwoman, I just raised it somewhat and said it's my dog and I am coming to get him and pay my bill. At this point my daughter took the phone and she explained my anxiety and that we were on our way there. Just before we arrived (about a 10 min drive) the vet calls me with the results of the blood work etc. I informed her that I was there and I'd like to pickup my dog and any meds she deems necessary. LET ME MAKE THIS PERFECTLY CLEAR!!! NO DIAGNOSIS WAS GIVEN TO ME, NOTHING! JUST THAT HE WOULD NEED A LIVER BIOPSY AND THE TWO OTHER SURGERIES. After this confusing and upsetting call, I decided to search for another vet. Which I did and brought him there and they proceeded to test for Cushings disease. I might also add that it was $200 LESS than what Campus Estates vet quoted me. When all was said and done, I paid Campus Estates over $1800.00 with no diagnosis. Fast forward two weeks, and I receive a call from the same vet telling me the cost of the Biopsy and Gallbladder removal, as I was more calm and was able to think more clearly, I said how can you tell me surgery when you DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM??? Her response was the indication from the Ultrasound and the specialist saying that he could have an issue with these things. I proceeded to let her know how unhappy I was with the treatment I received at their clinic and with the entire conversation that seemed to push towards me spending all this money for surgeries when they didn't even know what the real issue was. I then informed her thanks for the info, however I've taken him elsewhere and am awaiting the results of some tests. Which she would have known had she read the file, because the other vet had called to have the file transferred to them. So this is my experience with this Clinic, you decide if you would like to bring your pet here, but based on my experience, I would HIGHLY recommend NOT to bring your pet here.

Expérience négative: I would not recommend this veterinary practice, I just didn’t have a very kind experience overall. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and was quite rudely told I needed to wait - Of course, I was expecting that, but I don’t usually get attitude for being punctual. Added insult that the waiting room is basically a single hard wooden chair in a dark corner. Was ignored by staff until eventually one of them yelled over and pointed at the door I needed to go through. This was my first experience trying a new vet since moving to Guelph. I was bringing my cat for a check up and to be acquainted with her new vet in advance of a future emergency. I think the concept of an introduction/check up was not really known by this vet as she pretty much sent me along with “so your cat is fine?” When leaving, I was once again ignored by staff until eventually I had to finally interrupt their conversation to ask to please pay, so that I could leave. Overall, compared to the care and service I was used to from my previous vet, and what I have found at my current vet, this does stand out as a negative experience for me

Expérience négative: *******DO NOT COME HERE******* We were lied to about having 24 hour veterinary care for our cat that we left here for 2 days at a cost of $1850 a day. When I called the 1st night and asked to speak with the vet I was told that they were short staffed and there was not a veterinarian in house. The next day we were told that we should come and get the cat and bring him to someone that was equipped to handle his situation, The day before we were assured that they were equipped to deal with his problems. 40 minutes later we got a call that our cat had died, we were on our way to bring him to a real animal hospital and didn't get to say goodbye. They wasted our only chance to save our baby. Stay far away from this place. The Oakville Mississauga animal hospital on Winston Churchill is where we should have taken our cat they work miracles over there! Update we still have not heard from this place. Pretty pathetic.

Expérience fantastique: They took my cat Simba right away, and within 2 hours, he was happy and ready to go home. Yes it was a big bill, but there are people there working overnight. It is a 24/7 operation and they were there when we needed them most. Thank you for taking great care of Simba ❤️

Expérience fantastique: Drs Nicki and Ginger were amazing. They were so patient and kind with my bunny over the past few years. They kept me informed and called me during surgeries with updates. Expérience fantastique: This vet truly deserves 5+ stars. Around 11pm on November 2nd my 6.5 year old guinea pig was really sick and I called them and she got rushed in right away. They immediately started treating her. The veterinarian Dr. Tanya Hnatejko was incredibly kind, compassionate and patient with us as she broke the most difficult news that my baby had cancer and she wasn’t going to be around long. They gave me time to grieve, cry without any judgment and patiently allowed me to process this news. When it came to putting my baby girl down they let me be present and explained the whole process. I felt loved and appreciated the entire time. Not only that but they truly cared for my girl and that meant more than words can describe. Thank you for allowing my daisy and i to have the chance to say goodbye it means the world. I will highly recommend this vet to everyone they are about 45 minutes from me and it’s worth the trip knowing my furry friend is cared for

Expérience fantastique: We brought our cat in during a severe asthma attack with dangerously low oxygen levels. The team acted immediately, assessing her, getting her stabilized in an incubator, and walking us through every test result with care and clarity. Their compassion and professionalism were exceptional. From the front desk to the assistants and the doctor, everyone was incredible. They saved our little family member, and we’re endlessly grateful ❤️

Expérience négative: My cat was vomiting non-stop and my regular vet was closed, so I went to campus estates. They told me my cat was probably going to die, but that I should still do an $8000 exploratory surgery to see what was blocking her intestines. While I was crying about this news, along with the $2700 bill (for bloodwork and x-rays alone), they told me that if I wanted them to do CPR would be an extra $500. I still think about this months later. Took her to my vet the next day, $300 for the same work done. Turns out she was just constipated and it made her nauseous. She just needed a laxative. I was also informed that their x-rays were of such poor quality my own vet couldn't parce any information from them, my vet did ours for free in return. Do not go here unless literally everywhere else is closed, for your pet, heart and wallets sake.

Expérience fantastique: I have been bringing my pet rats here since I attended school in this city. A few years later, I now live just over an hour away, but I will never take my little guys elsewhere! This team and the care they provide are well worth the drive. I've brought the boys in for a swollen eye, a swollen paw, and for respiratory issues. No matter the problem, the team is very thorough and caring. The staff at the desk keep perfect record of the boys' treatment and always offer very friendly service and follow-up. The vet herself offers treatment that has been very effective on all fronts. She makes sure to outline the treatments and follow up available in each case, the prognoses and costs are explained up front. Thank you to the team for treatments that have worked every time to keep my cherished pets safe and healthy! I also know that since rats are classed as exotic pets their care can be quite expensive, but I've found the care and treatment given here to be very affordable compared with places I took previous rats in the past. This factor has saved my dear boy Ganymede's life as I was able to get him in quickly despite financial difficulties at the time of his illness. The rats are little old men at this point, but whenever something is wrong, I know where I'll be bringing them for care. Thank you to the whole team from myself, Ganymede, Callisto, the late Hyperion, and my partner and children who love the rats just as much as I do!

Expérience négative: Sad to see Campus Estates purchased by a national corporation. Doesn’t feel like the private business it once was. Corporations only get in to the business for the money, although prices may not have risen as they claim, upselling is a sure thing.

Expérience fantastique: This place really deserves a 5 star review. Ive been taking my rats here for the last couple weeks, and the service has been exceptional. The staff is super accommodating, and genuinely care. When I was concerned about swelling in my rat post surgery, Dr. Julia was kind enough to waive the fee for the checkup. Also, Dr. Julia has rats of her own, and that made me feel very comfortable leaving my rats in her care. On top of everything, the environment in the clinic is excellent. The decor is calming and welcoming, and there are so many high quality items for purchase as well. Thank you for taking such good care of me and my pets.

Expérience fantastique: I would highly recommend this veterinarian hospital. My Rottweiler had an abscessed that had gotten very large and they took me right away. He doesn't like too many people but he didn't seem to have any issues with them in there. He was very comfortable. They made us feel very easy about the procedure. They actually saved me a little bit of money. Very friendly stuff. Beautiful setting and I really really do thank them

Expérience fantastique: I’d like to thank all the amazing vet techs, Dr. Rivers, Dr. Brown and all the awesome staff at campus estates for saving my little Habib. He ate a large amount of chocolate and was not doing well but with the gentle care he received after being admitted to Campus Estates he was able to come home with a healthy appetite and many binkies! Everyone was so empathetic from my first interactions with staff on the phone, to the honest but gentle conversation about the severity of his situation. Their checkins twice a day really helped me understand Habib’s condition, and their thorough home care instructions helped me ensure that the gentle care they provided in the clinic followed him home. If you have a rabbit, I highly recommend bringing them to Campus Estates to ensure they receive excellent, empathetic and experienced care. Thank you again to all your staff for saving my little Habib and taking such good care of him ❤️❤️❤️

Expérience fantastique: I am incredibly grateful to this veterinary clinic. The reception team, doctors, and nurses here are truly wonderful — so attentive, kind, and professional. This place is not just called an emergency clinic — it really is an emergency clinic, where you can be sure you will be welcomed and helped even in the middle of the night. They don’t just treat animals; they genuinely love them and do everything possible to make them feel better. I came here with my rats - and I was so impressed with the level of care. Thanks to this clinic, they are now feeling well and happy. I live in Toronto, and even though I could go somewhere closer, I would never hesitate to make the trip here — because this clinic is simply the best. Thank you so much for everything you do for our pets!

Expérience fantastique: Recently the team at Campus Estates Animal Hospital have treated our dog, Brady. He has a tendency to swallow things other than food and they had to operate. Brady is 9 years old and has had multiple operations and the team ensured he was well taken care of as he needed specialist care. That was 10 days ago and now he is on the mend and back in the game! I can’t say enough good things about the professional approach this business takes with its clients. I would highly recommend this business to anyone that has a pet in need of medical help and support for their well being.

Expérience fantastique: I can’t begin to say enough good things about Dr. Ginger and the level of care she provides for my rabbits. I have been a client of hers for years and her knowledge on rabbits and the many (many) issues they can face is unmatched. Rabbit veterinary medicine is often under-studied but Dr. Ginger provides cutting edge options for the issues my bunnies have presented with. She has provided a wide range of services for my rabbits - from molar trims to tear duct flushes to routine exams and everything in between. Her expertise is such an asset to the rabbit community. Last year I brought one of my rabbits, Jeff, in to see Dr. Ginger for a quality of life assessment, thinking we’d exhausted all options for him. He was a disabled senior and I dreaded that his pain control wasn’t sufficient anymore. Dr. Ginger proposed a new plan and it worked. She gave me 16 extra months with him. And they were good months, where he was happy and his pain was well managed. This example feels more poignant now, and why I thought to leave this review, because my sweet boy Jeff just passed a few days ago. All of the vets who saw him were incredibly helpful during what would turn out to be his end of life care, but Dr. Ginger went above and beyond to make sure every step of the way we were doing what was best for him. What she gave me with him - time - is a gift I could never thank her enough for. Dr. Ginger, thank you for taking such good care of my Jeffie

My rabbit got much better after 3 days and fully recovered from watery eyes after one week. Great thanks to Dr. Elysha and every kind member of the hospital. There is nearly no vets in London accepting rabbits. I highly recommend this hospital 1.5 hours away from London.

Expérience fantastique: This was the only helpful place to take my Pac-Man frog. I was freaking out because my frog Jeremy had gotten a worm lodged into his vocal sac and was jumping everywhere (which pacamn frogs don’t like to move) trying to get this worm out of his throat. I called 4 other places and no one would take him, I ended up calling them back accidentally after trying to call everyplace I could find and they said they would try but wouldn’t guarantee anything. This was enough for me and I needed to get there asap. I showed up crying freaking out thinking I was going to lose my frog but the two lady’s made me feel so comfortable and tried everything they could to help Jeremy, as I was sitting I heard them cheer in the back and was praying it was for Jeremy, a minute or two later they brought him and and I bursted into tears, I asked the doctor for a hug because she didn’t need to take Jeremy but she did and I will forever be grateful for this place and the incredible people that helped me keep Jeremy alive.. thank you to everyone for helping me when no one else would.

Expérience négative: Since this practice was sold to a national corporation called VETSTRATEGY approximately 2 months ago, the Service and Quality of Service has gone down and costs have significantly increased. The veterinarians associated with this location no longer display their graduate certificates on the wall. That, by itself, speaks volumes as to the new motivation of this practice . This practice is no longer interested in you pet’s health and wellbeing. It is now more interested in your wallet. The value of the services received no longer justify the costs. I will go elsewhere. July 5, 2025: Response to response - I have been bringing my dog here since a puppy. Nine years. I have always expected the cost of his annual visit to get his heart worm and tick medicine to be around $300 to $500. This year I had the first visit and it cost me over $500 but I paid it. (More than previous years but… inflation. I understand.) This year you did the inspection and then had a vet technician come get him and take him to the back room to give him his lepto and rabies vaccinations. You brought him back and said he was too anxious to do a blood withdrawal. In the nine years prior to this the vaccinations and blood draw was always done with the veterinarian in the inspection room and I was present. Why did you take him to the back this year? You informed me that I would have to give him anxiety medication and bring him back the next weekend. You charged me $30 for the anxiety medication and I gave it to him and brought him back the next weekend. It took 15 minutes for a vet technician to come and get him from the lobby and when he came back and you PRESENTED ME WITH ANOTHER INVOICE FOR MORE THAN $500.00. (For 15 minutes of work?) I am sorry, but I believe that over $1,000.00 for an annual check up, heartworm and tick medication and vaccinations is TOO MUCH. Instead I cancelled the blood work for the blood draw and the fecal specimen examination. So i got my second visit of 15 minutes down to $113.00, which I reluctantly paid. Don’t tell me you are more interested in my dog than my wallet. Something is not connecting here. Over $1,000.00 compared to my prior experience with Campus Estates before VETSTRATEGY purchased it, does not compare. I will look for an independently owned veterinarian. (Let’s see your response to this…. Should be interesting.)

Expérience négative: My 12 year old dog developed rapid onset, progressing paralysis in her hind legs. Brought her to Campus Estates. Despite having an appointment, had to sit on the floor in the waiting room for about 45 minutes. The staff were pleasant (that's why 2 stars). The vet said my dog's heart and lungs were good and wanted to take an ultrasound to look for free fluid in her abdomen. Once that was completed the vet returned to tell us that there could be a number of causes, gave her an injection for pain, a prescription for pain control and anti-inflammatory/analgesia, and told us to come back if she gets worse and they could do more imaging and blood tests. Total bill was over $500.00. I left feeling I had no real answers. My dog got much worse over the next 48 hours and I took her to an Emergency Vet clinic in Burlington. When I arrived they put my dog right into a prepared examination room. The vet tech come in a took a thorough history and checked vital signs. 20 minutes later, already briefed by the technician, the vet came in and did a very thorough neurological exam and had a discussion with us about the likely cause (cancer), prognosis, and options for next steps. He recommended not doing further testing as, given the rapid onset and complete paralysis, the prognosis would be poor regardless. This clinic was compassionate, caring, thorough and took the time to accurately diagnose my dog. Total bill was $340.00. I left feeling like I could make a comfortable, informed decision for my dog. I would not recommend Campus Estates for Emergency Veterinary Services...go to Burlington...it is worth the drive and peace of mind when faced with difficult decisions for your pet.

Expérience fantastique: I took my dog in late last night after he had had a seizure, they were busy when we arrived but Katie at reception was very sweet and took him back quickly to be assessed. Dr. Linda was very patient and explained everything thoroughly, we decided that it would be best if he stayed the night for monitoring. When Alyssa brought him back to say goodbye to me she was so kind and gentle with him, I felt very comfortable leaving him there overnight. I am so grateful that we have such a wonderful 24 hour clinic in Guelph, this has not always been my experience with emergency hospitals. Thank you all for the kindness and compassion you showed (even in the middle of the night) and thank you to the technicians/anyone else behind the scenes who helped out my boy Louis last night :)

Expérience négative: I am not one to write bad reviews, however, I cannot in good faith not share my recent experience with this clinic. Specifically with Dr. Tanya Hnatejko, who in my humble opinion has no business being a veterinarian. In a profession that already is difficult, she is one that makes it even more difficult for the "good vets" I was referred by my trusted vet to this clinic for a specialty procedure, Laparoscopic neuter (ONLY) for my dog with Dr. Marco Mazzocco. Unfortunately, we were seen by Tanya for our pre-op appointment not Dr. Marco. Within the first 5 minutes, she managed to be rude, dismissive and unprofessional and "pretended" to read our patient file on the computer like it read that another procedure was added in the referral. I knew this not to be the case, as I received copies of the referral and the estimate in advance which only included the neuter. She then proceeded to ask me "why I waited so long to have his neuter" which if she had any knowledge and experience of giant breeds would know it is not uncommon to wait until after age 3 to allow for full growth and development before a neuter/spay. She saw the opportunity to manipulate and take advantage of the situation to push additional procedure with profit in mind. Bottom line, she and this clinic, had NO right to pressure or push any other procedures on a client who was referred to them. If there was any concerns, refer the client back to their primary vet. That's called professionalism and ethical. But they didn't give my vet that respect and undermined her. Ultimately I ended up doing the additional procedure (additional $1,000) out of concern for future emergency insurance coverage as they documented that I "declined" the procedure when in fact I did not and already had discussed with our vet prior to scheduling this appointment. My total for the two procedures being $3177. This clinic was recently acquired by Vet Strategy corporation, zero transparency on that to the public. I urge any pet owners to reconsider taking your pets here and any local vet clinics to refer your clients to other specialty/referral hospitals. They did not even earn the one star given. RESPONSE to CEAH Response: Let me be VERY CLEAR, we were REFERRED for a laparoscopic neuter ONLY. Your vet, Tanya, who spent less than 5 minutes with us without any patient medical history is in no position to be "recommending" any additional procedures. And quite frankly, undermines the veterinarian whom we have seen for years by assuming all the options were not previously discussed with the client they are referring to you. But I'm glad to see you put in writing for all the surrounding vet clinics that you disregard their medical referrals and recommend medical treatment without a patients full medical history. Another reason for them to not refer to you guys.

Expérience fantastique: Avian vet Nickey Brown kept me at peace while caring for my quaker parrot regarding a wing injury. She accommodated our emergency visit on a busy day, kept me well informed and was patient with my emotions. Reception staff were also very patient with me and took the time to explain their procedures. They have phoned me in the days following the procedure to ensure smooth recovery and to answer any questions about medication. I cannot express how much I appreciate the patience and empathy the staff showed to us, especially given the busyness of the clinic that day. Nickey has earned our trust with avian care moving forward.

Expérience fantastique: I had an emergency situation with my cat, Tucker and everyone I interacted with could not have been more helpful. Dr. Katie spent so much time explaining everything to me to ensure I understood what was happening. I greatly appreciated the time she took with me, especially since it was such a stressful time. I am extremely grateful and pleased with the level of compassion and friendliness I have received from all of the staff at Campus Estates. Tucker was in great hands for the few days he had to stay and is doing so much better. Thanks so much!

Expérience fantastique: This place is my favorite Vet clinic by far, and it's not the first time they have helped. In an area saturated in veterinary clinics. Took my cat there last minute and they fit me in. This is not the first time for that either. Life savers, just like the candy. I had a cat dying of lung cancer and had another clinic turn me away due to being late by minutes, in Guelph where traffic and poorly managed street construction is the new normal, they are not to be named, this isn't that type of review. I did not know he had lung cancer, he was stoic and never showed symptoms until his last week and deteriorated extremely fast. Lungs/chest filling with fluid, we had to make a difficult decision and the staff was very compationate and patient with us while we asked about every different way under the sun that was possible to save him, and then while we comforted him for a long time in a private room before having to put him to sleep with love and care. (Every test possible was done, surgery would have killed him very likely with little positive effects, needing to be redone once it reaches that point again) Thank you to all the staff who helped make his last moments as comfortable and loving as possible. Special thanks to Dr. Elysha Smith for being as amazing a Veterinarian as I've ever encountered in my 35 years in Guelph, you are a hero to me. Took a few weeks to make this review as it's been hard on my wife and I but everything you have done for us is appreciated.

Expérience fantastique: When our cat Mikey faced multiple urinary blockages within the course of a few days, Campus Estates Animal Hospital stepped in with urgency, compassion, and expertise. They coordinated closely with our home vet, Riverside Animal Hospital, and had their surgical specialist (Dr. Kim Murphy) ready within 24 hours to perform his life-saving PU surgery. The team was always available — day or night — to answer every question and concern with patience and kindness. Their constant support helped us stay as calm as possible during such a scary and emotional time. Mikey is healing beautifully, and we know it’s because of the exceptional care he received at Campus Estates. He’s so grateful — and so are we :) With all our love and thanks, Olivia, Anthony & Mikey

It was recommended to euthanize my little buddy, and in my best interest for the well being of my hedge hog I had to go through with that choice sadly. From my intial call in, to exam, treatment given and to sending her home, they were all amazing! Even next day call to follow-up was so appreciated! Thank you once again for all you do!!

Expérience négative: It’s taken me a year to write this review. We brought our 11 month old Bengal kitten in to have surgery due to him swallowing a silicone earpod tip. The first vet, who did the surgery, was great, informative and kind. I forget his name, Dr Marko?. Here’s where the issues began: The morning after our boy’s surgery he was eating and drinking. No issues. They told us he could go home the next morning. We were so excited. The morning we were due to pick up Memphis, I got a phone call from the on-call vet that Memphis was breathing “oddly”. She asked if she could do a chest xray. I obviously said yes. They called shortly after and said “it looks like he might be developing pneumonia.” We discussed antibiotics. I agreed to everything. I felt anxious so I called my regular vet and discussed his case with her. My vet suggested that I go to the clinic and visit with Memphis because he likely misses us and would benefit from a visit. I was thrilled at the idea. I asked the clinic if I could come in for a visit, they said yes. I arrived at the clinic and they wheeled him into a room in an incubator. He was completely flat, like he was severely sedated. I was SHOCKED at the condition he was in. I asked “is he sedated??” The vet tech said no and walked away. No one came to talk to me about his condition. I waited an hr. No one came. I left and called the clinic and hr later to get an update from the vet. The vet (Dr Jessica Kraly) was cold, emotionless, and said “I recommend euthanasia.” I said “I’m sorry. Can you repeat that? He was fine 24 hrs ago! Why has no one updated us? Why didn’t anyone come to talk to me when I was there and asked to speak with the vet?!” At this point I’m hysterically crying. This heartless vet was telling me to end my kitten’s life. A kitten who was SO deeply loved by our entire family. That evening, I brought my kids and husband to see Memphis one last time. The evening vet suggested we give him the night to see if he improved. We agreed. We weren’t ready to say goodbye. We went home (hr away) and prayed that he would survive the night. None of us slept a wink. The next morning the heartless vet was back on. She called me in the morning and again suggested euthanasia. I told her that I was coming in to see him. I arrived and he was still in the same box, covered completely in his own urine and stool. I scooped him out of the box, cleaned him gently while sobbing my heart out. How could anyone treat an animal, let alone a sick animal, this way?!!? The doctor came back and pressured euthanasia. I agreed. In my sleep deprived, distressed statue I agreed to it. She said she was going to give me time to say goodbye before doing it. As soon as she left the room, a young woman walked in with a debit machine and bereavement catalog. I legitimately was speechless. She said that I needed to pick out his urn, memorial pieces and pay before they did the euthanasia. It this point I was FURIOUS. I told her to get out. I said “How heartless can you be?! You left my kitten in his mess overnigh!! Then you come in here demanding money when I’m trying to say goodbye to my pet, who was suppose to come home today!! I will pay your bill when he’s gone.” THEN as I’m in the room alone crying over my kitten, in my lap, I hear the staff giggling in the room just outside the door. For over 5 minutes. Anyway, the vet came in. She had zero sympathy. She said “are you aware that this will stop your cat’s heart?” I silently nodded as tears fell down my face. I was beyond broken at this point. I had no words left for any of them. I just wanted it done and over with. I wanted his suffering to end and run far away. I held Memphis as he passed. The vet listened to his chest. She said “he’s gone” and then walked out. I held him so tight. I apologized to him for all he had been through and begged him to forgive me for leaving him with these people. I paid the bill without saying a word and left. It was traumatic, cold, heartless how everything was handled. ** RIP Memphis 02/12/23 - 01/12/24 **

Expérience négative: I brought in my nine-year-old senior rabbit who had been in perfect health a day prior to the visit I had on January 3, 2024. On January 3, he seemed uncomfortable breathing and it just took a lot of work for him so I decided to give Campas estates a call. Over the phone I let them know he was eating and drinking no issue but breathing just seemed to be a problem and wanted to have him incubated Or provided oxygen to help relieve some distress until we had answers. I had called them another two times before coming in stressing the fact that he is a senior and needs to be handled with extreme care. I specifically requested that no tests were to be done without my permission, and for him to only be provided with oxygen. All the information I provided to the vet over the phone was not recorded in their Files. I was brought back to a waiting room while they took my rabbit into the back and within two minutes the vet came in to tell me that my young rabbit is very sick. Meanwhile, he is nine years old and they should have recorded this information. Without my knowledge they had poked and prodded at him by taking a blood glucose test that was unsuccessful because it caused him to go into shock and pass away. In not only five minutes of my visit was my rabbit brought back to me dead. I was livid and heartbroken and trusted these people with a life I shouldn’t have. The name on the urn and certificate was also sent incorrect to me which caused more grief during a difficult time. This is a very unprofessional clinic that will do whatever they please to rack up a bill. Please do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to take your pets.

Expérience fantastique: My dog was admitted with broken glass ingestion and numerous other complications (pancreatitis, colitis). She was not eating or drinking and was incredibly lethargic. All the vets and RVTs I spoke with were really patient, kind, and knowledgeable. They walked me through each step of the process. After the endoscopy and a few days in hospital, she was so much better. She has since made huge gains in her recovery and is back to her usual active, happy self. I cannot thank the staff enough for helping her (and me) during a really awful time. I am so grateful to have her back home with me.

Expérience fantastique: The BEST EXPERIENCE with a vet EVER. Such a compassionate team. I own a rabbit and was in need of a second opinion from what my home vet in Hamilton had said, I called the staff at Campus Estates animal hospital to ask them if they had time to see my bunny after explaining my situation. When I arrived I was greeted by the amazing girls at the desk whom were very soft spoken and compassionate. The office is very beautifully painted and did not smell like an animal hospital. Everything was also very clean. During the the examination the vet was VERY compassionate and gentle with my rabbit and talked about all the issues in a way that I could understand it and we talked about a treatment plan and the next steps. Pics of Loki and what was drained out of his cheek Overall THE BEST PLACE TO TAKE AN EXOTIC !!!

Earlier in the evening my rabbit was showing signs of GI stasis and I brought her in within the hour (9pm). This is such a valuable service- thank you Campus Estates for providing high quality emergency care for exotic pets!

Expérience fantastique: CEAH took wonderful care of my sweet boy, Seamus (cat) for a total of 6 days a couple of weeks ago. I was referred to them by my regular vet, who felt he would benefit from hospitalization. After a day with CEAH, it became clear Seamus was more sick than we had anticipated. It was a rollercoaster of a week but I felt that CE did a wonderful job keeping me updated on his care, the cost of things as his condition progressed, and provided me with options depending on my financial means. I would like to give a specific shout out to Dr. Katie - who was honestly the most perfect fit for my personality as I navigated the whole situation. She was kind, thorough and really good at communicating with me in a way that I could relate to and understand. She was also very pragmatic, which I needed since I was fully being driven by emotion. I feel that everyone who took care of Seamus was kind and loving towards him. They even sent me pictures throughout the week and it always made me smile (I missed him so much while he was gone so it meant a lot that they acknowledged that). The only thing I would have changed was a phone call from Dr. Julia that was made distressing due to poor communication on her part and she could have had better bedside manner. I am so happy to report that Seamus is home, stable, and getting back to his usual self. CEAH also checked in on him several times even after he left their care, which really meant a lot to me. Thank you for taking such good care of my loved one!

Expérience fantastique: Recently, my daughter and I used their ER vet services to assess my daughter's beloved pet rat. Unfortunately, he was an older rat and suffering from pneumonia and she decided it was kindest to say good bye. Expérience fantastique: I honestly want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the staff. Last Sunday my beloved hamster ‘Belle’ suddenly got sick late at night. I live in London and no other vets were available so we drove to Campus Estates Animal Hospital in Guelph. My hamster ended up needing to be euthanized and as to be expected, I was an emotional wreck. Although the outcome was most definitely not what I had hoped for, I couldn't have asked for better staff to be working that night. From the initial phone call at 9:30pm up until the time I left around 2am, the staff was EXTREMELY caring and outright phenomenal throughout the entire experience. With the death being sudden, I had not yet decided on what would be done with her remains. They went out of their way to customize a box for Belle’s body for me to take her home in. This seemingly small gesture meant the world to me and I will forever be grateful for all of their efforts <3 Thank you again!!!

Expérience négative: My bird was injured with a flesh wound from dive bombing my cat. I went to my local vet and they recommended this vet since it was the closest that deals with exotic birds. When I talked to the person on the phone they were more worried I understood that they had a $250 fee right away. I had said I didn’t care about money and I just needed to get my bird help. It was a big snow storm and many main roads were closed. It’s almost a 2 hour drive in good weather so I asked if I could sent a picture or video of the injury. I was told I had to bring my bird in if I wanted anyone to look at it. When I explained the weather thing again and asked if they could just look so I can know if I. Need to leave right away or if it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was. I was denied this and told the weather may clear up this afternoon. I have been in a deep depression and the only thing that pulled me out was my pet bird. I just wanted to know my bird would be ok, or if not, I needed to start driving. I ended up using a televet and cutting the hanging flesh off my bird myself and they are mailing me antibiotics and pain killers. Also, not that money mattered here, but this whole process with the televet only cost $208.18 which included everything(even overnight shipping). The pure lack of compassion I was showing makes me sick. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I recommend no one takes their pets To this terrible vet. Shame on them.

Expérience négative: My dog has lung cancer, and we called around 7 am to see about euthanasia as she’s breathing heavily and we were told it will be her time soon. Our clinic is not 24 hours and we didn’t want to see her suffer. She could barely breathe. I called this clinic and was told that they’re coming off of their emergency hour times so we should wait and see if our clinic can schedule us in earlier when they open even though I told them they won’t be open till 9 am if not 10. My dog is dying and I’m told to see if my clinic can schedule me in to help her avoid her suffering? I see her in pain! I’m not going to make her wait. Very stressful and disappointing experience.

Expérience négative: KILLED MY PET IF YOU VALUE YOUR PETS LIFE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! My rat (my whole world) developed an abscess overnight. I brought her in the same day in a panic. Vet and tech were very kind when handling her however, did not give us any options when it came to treatment. Vet said to sedate her and cut into it to take further steps considering their findings. I was then quickly rushed off to make a $300 deposit. After realizing it was just an abscess they stitched her woke her and called us. They gave her back to me in a state I have never seen any animal in my entire life. She looked mangled and disheveled but I brushed it off happy that my baby was okay. Vet charged us for some antibiotics and pain meds to bring home then showed us how to administer and gave her the first dose. Then again quickly tried to rush me to make a follow up appointment which I bet they would’ve charged me for up front. I live across the street and within 5 minutes of getting home she was dead. Come to find out an abscess can be easily removed with a needle. After calling back panicking that she had just died I asked if she could maybe just be in shock or something. Lady goes she’s probably dead, I just hung up at that point. Vet calls me back, I’m thinking maybe she’ll have some sort of reimbursement or explanation for me… she tells me that’s really strange and shouldn’t happen. Long story short I believe they went about the wrong course of treatment or possibly over medicated her. Offered no support after the fact. They are supposed to be able to treat small animals which clearly they cannot. When they try to charge you outrageous amounts for your pets ashes after killing them… Kitchener Waterloo humane society offers cheaper cremation than anywhere else I was quoted.

They had him for 2 days and he came home to be a part of our family. Fast forward 2 years and Gus had another issue, Campus Estates went above and beyond to help. They care and I don't really have a negative thing to say about them. My experiences have been remarkable. I will continue to use them as my emergency veterinarian. Thanks so much for everything.

Expérience négative: We were university students coming in for our pet rat with a neck tumor. They treated us like we were dumb and wrong for coming in for our rat, we stood at a table of three people just randomly typing our computers with no other people in the room not being helped until 1:45 even after making an appointment for 1:30. We were charged a 300 deposit with no other options other to do a different surgery to drain a small puss like tumor in her neck or to do a euthanasia . once we paid the 300 before doing anything to her. they put her under sedation left her for about an hour called us back and told us she was ready. she had completed her surgery. One surgery was completed we were able to hold her. She ended up biting me because she scared which is complete abnormal of her. The vet gave her some pain meds, We took her home and about 10 minutes after taking her home she had passed away. The veterinary place cost us about $500 with meds and had a rat die within 5 minutes of getting her home would not recommend this place. They did not care once she had passed away and we’re super rude on the phone about next steps, we mentioned that her eyes were closed and she wasn’t breathing asking if it was normal from the pain meds and their exact response was “I guess she had passed Do you wanna bring her in again?” as if 500 wasn’t enough for them. Originally when they saw us come in did not offer anything else other than a paid option to do surgery did not offer euthanasia didn’t care about the rat didn’t tell us she could die from the surgery just wanted our money looking back on it when we agreed to pay they seemed almost surprised, just cared about the money and saw two young people coming in If you have a rat or any other animal would not suggest this place unless you are a very well off person or someone who looks like they have money they will not treat you properly if you look like you’re broke or a university student. if they leave a comment or an response on this, please note They are mentioning it now because they would not respond to calls about the reimbursement of $500 for a rat who died 10 minutes after leaving there table

Expérience fantastique: Called last night after my reactive dog ate a large part of a toy which was completely out of character. They are clearly trained in dog behaviour, were patient with me and my dog, and had no problem accommodating my requests and following direction to prevent a reaction. We ended up leaving with no reactions and a very positive experience!! The entire office cares very much about animal welfare. The Vet was called away from us for a more emergent situation and a vet tech came in to explain the next steps for the procedure, what to expect, and administering the medication. They were both extremely knowledgeable, kind and calm. Can’t say enough positive things about our first emergency visit! The treatment ended up being a shot right into my dogs vein in his back leg that induced vomiting. He started vomiting in about 2 minutes, threw up 5 times and clearly emptied the toy out of his stomach, and a huge burp and fell asleep. Our team then collected the vomit, went through it to collect the pieces of the toy and then brought it into the room like a puzzle to confirm that the entire thing was accounted for. We waited for ten minutes in the room and then went on our way. Amazing team from first call at reception (call ahead!) to vet tech, vet, and back again. They even have a quiet room that we didn’t end up using, a calm and quiet waiting room, and a washroom station right outside with bag disposal.

Expérience négative: DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR HAMSTER: I took my hamster Comie here on 13th Sept around 1am for she got her leg broken by accident... when I saw her like that in the middle of the night I was panicked... I drove from Toronto all the way to Guelph cuz they were open and they say they treat small animals as well. I was so thankful for them by then... and today when I picked her up after her surgery, I was shocked by the horrible quality of treatment this hospital gave her... 1) as you can see... when they shaved her they seem to really just forced it that it scratched all over her skin... 2) when I researched the same case of Syrian Hamster hind-leg amputation, none of the other cases have this big wound. Comie's wound is from belly all the way to her back... And the stitches look so insincere... 3) I double checked to see if there's any specific reason why her wound is so big and horribly done, they just told me that it is normal and done as it should be... which I found out that is not the case... they could've saved her thigh - it was not broken and that's usual practice in this case, they just cut off her entire leg! If you are looking for a vet for your hamster... please consider somewhere else... I don't think they care about small animals like hamsters... or maybe because I looked so desperate that they might have taken advantage of me… I have attached photos of my hamster and the invoice as well you can see for yourself... my heart is so broken to see my Comie suffering for my mistake which is bringing her here... I really wanna know why they had to return my trust like this...

We went with our calm friendly pup as we noticed a lump like near his leg and he was extremely bothered by it to the point couldn't settle. So our mistake to take our pup in #1. They wanted to charge us close to $200 alone on top of other charhes to put him TO SLEEP by giving him strong med then give another med to wake him up! SOO they can look at his skin...are you kidding me? .by the way it was Dr. Lynda ..again this is a very calm friendly pup. I said No. The vet asked why and was very pushy for us yo put him to sleep!!!? Eventually proceeded without putting our pup to sleep. She took him to the back and apparently put a muzzle on him all we heard was lots of pup screams and cries then a huge sound as if our dog fell to the floor and more cries! They gave us meds without stating side effects etc. Even when we asked she said there are none .. and send us home after we paid quiet a bit of money. We were told if not opened meds can be returned. Next day we realized our pup walked funny and was not eating..vomitting and we decided not to use their meds at all but if gets worse go somewhere else. I called to return the unopened meds the reception said NO PROBLEM to the oral meds. When we went in they denied refunding money LIED and said we can DONATE the 200$ meds ? This is not all.. following that we noticed our dog can't open mouth well when trying to eat and noticed huge bruise bump under his chin from whatever they did yo him! Oh and when the pup run to us after being released from that torture room in the back he had a strange looking rope attached to him I am curious what they did with this ROPE? AND WHERE DID THE BRUISE COME FROM. be aware they are ONLY in there for the MONEY. 0 EMPATHY ESPECIALLY FROM THE fast talking vet we saw. NEVER AGAIN!

Expérience fantastique: I am very very grateful about the service here. I took my hamster Laser (Jr) here this Friday because she was extremely sick. They made great efforts to try to save her and tried everything they can, but ultimately we chose to euthanize her to relieve her from the suffering. The staff was very compassionate seeing how painful it was for me to let her go, and they brought her body back to me in a well decorated box which I will be keeping as a souvenir. Massive massive thanks to the doctor and all the other staff that I interacted with; it brings me solace knowing that we tried to buy her time as much as possible.

Expérience fantastique: We were referred to this clinic last night from the emergency vet in Niagara as they do not do endoscopy. Our puppy swallowed a cat toy but fortunately the x-ray showed it still in the stomach. We drove from Niagara Falls at 930pm and they were able to see us right away. We had Dr. Jessica and the team at Campus Estates and we had a great experience during a difficult time. She is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and caring and was able to remove the object without surgery. I would highly recommend taking your animal here and ignore any negative reviews. Keep in mind for every negative review there are far more positives experiences that people do not post a review for!

Expérience fantastique: My morkie had emergency treatment at Campus Estates yesterday and from the first call right through to leaving the clinic, I was blown away by the kind, attentive and speedy service provided, especially on a Sunday! Wow, Campus Estates, you are a haven for pet owners!

Expérience fantastique: We had such an amazing experience today at Campus Estates. We had to make the very necessary but emotional decision to euthanize our declining 18 year old feline best friend. All the staff at Campus Estates were so lovely and caring. They turned something sad into something beautiful, gentle and sweet. We can not thank or recommend them enough.

Expérience positive: Great caring team for exotic pets. Went there for a health check for my chameleons. Great to know their team also have reptiles themselves so they're care goes beyond treating animals but practicing improving their care.

Expérience négative: Our cat had an issue and we brought him here. Our cat stayed 2 nights but the doctors couldn’t even tell us what was wrong with him. The only thing they can tell you is all about money/ cost. They charged us $1800 without fixing the problem and referred us to a different animal hospital. Be aware, they don’t have feelings and they use your feelings to get more money out of you Some nurses are nice but can’t help I wouldn’t recommend to visit them

Expérience fantastique: Simply the best…better than all the rest! Best veterinary clinic in the area, with the best veterinary care, and the best staff! After being let down by our previous vet in Cambridge, we were welcomed with open hearts & arms by the entire team at Campus Estates Animal Hospital! A special shout out to Dr. Jess…she is FABULOUS!!! She exceeded our expectations by taking time out of her busy schedule to research the best treatment for our Nya, sending us home with educational articles and calling us personally to discuss her findings and updating us through the whole treatment process. She is knowledgeable, professional, welcoming, with excellent bedside manners! Bravo Team CEAH, we are your biggest fans!!

Expérience fantastique: I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Dr. Linda Johnson and the team at the Campus Estates Animal Hospital Emergency for their expertise. After calling every emergency clinic in Toronto and the greater Toronto area, I was met with frustration as none were willing to see my dog due to belief that endoscope would be necessary to retrieve an ice cream stick he had swallowed. However, when I reached out to the Campus Estates Emergency, Dr. Linda Johnson and her team promptly assessed the situation and averted the need for endoscopy entirely! I am very grateful to Dr. Johnson for her commitment to the best and least invasive care!

Expérience fantastique: We were very fortunate to have found Campus Estates Animal Hospital. Their compassion and expertise was greatly appreciated every time we had to book an emergency appointment for our two rabbits. It was very difficult to find a 24hr emergency vet, let alone one that takes exotic pets in the area. Even though no one wants to make an emergency appointment for their pet, we knew that our pets were in the best hands. We eventually had to say goodbye to both of our bunnies (9yrs &10 yrs old) last year in the comfort and care of Campus Estates and we are forever thankful. Each member of their staff went above and beyond for us and our rabbits. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Campus Estates Animal Hospital, for helping us to grieve and heal as we look back on those final moments we shared with our furry family members.

Expérience fantastique: I took my sweet pup to Campus Estates Animal Hospital on Friday night on an emergency basis. The staff upon our intake were so kind and compassionate right off the bat. We started off with Dr. Meredith, who was so lovely, thorough and knowledgeable. She offered several different options for Eddie and walked me through each one carefully, making sure I never felt pressured and making sure I knew I was in control of Eddie’s treatment plan. The following day, Dr. Jessica called me with a full update and spent over 15 minutes on the phone with me discussing Eddie’s case and again, giving me several different options and walking me through each one. Dr. Jessica’s empathy and knowledge has been so comforting. Each team member I’ve spoken to has been compassionate and so kind. While I miss my boy like crazy, I am confident that he is in good hands and being looked after by a superb team who just want him to feel better. They’ve sent me several photos in between updates which has been so wonderful. Thank you to everyone at CEAH for taking care of my sweet baby and for also taking care of me ❤️

Expérience fantastique: When I moved to Guelph for school one of my first concerns was ensuring that I had a clinic experienced with exotics to bring my bearded dragon, Frankie, to. From the first time I took him there, I knew that Campus Estates was the perfect spot. I always left appointments feeling confident in the advice or treatment plan given to me. The whole team there is absolutely amazing. Dr. Alec Brown, in particular, always handled Frankie so gently and respectfully. I can tell he does a lot of research in his own time to better his patients. Frankie ran into some complications recently and we had to say goodbye to him. The whole team at CEAH handled the situation so kindly and I will never forget it. When the time comes that I’m ready to open my heart to another lizard, I’ll gladly take them to Campus Estates. I’m proud to recommend this clinic to any other exotic pet owners. The whole team is truly amazing.

Expérience fantastique: Took our family dog in last night to say goodbye, and the team here was absolutely fantastic. They made sure we had lots of time to say goodbye, and made the experience for us and our boy easy and pleasant. I would recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable way to say goodbye to a pet

Expérience fantastique: We brought our golden retriever in for an emergency visit because he tried to swallow glass. Not sure if he ingested any or not, it was questionable if glass would show up on x-rays and it was probably too late for a scope. After the first round of x-rays, the vet had us walk him for an hour before a second set. While we were away, they had someone go to the beer store, buy a bottle, smash it, and test it under the x-ray, just to be sure they would see it in our dog. This hospital is amazing. They went above and beyond in the interest of our pet, who loved the attention and didn't swallow glass after all. Yesh!

Expérience fantastique: This is our second time here for our dog, Greta. Unfortunately she has had intestinal blockage twice but thankfully we have been in amazing care both times here. I truly cannot say enough good things about Campus Estates. Everyone here is extremely friendly. The vets, Kendra and Alex, we have seen and they could not have been more kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Our experience with both of them was over and above. Campus Estates is very transparent with pricing, they let us know the cost prior to performing anything and gave different options/next steps based on what we were comfortable with. I can only say good things about this place and though hopefully we won’t have to visit again, this is the place I will always go back to. Thank you Campus Estates!

Expérience négative: I had a traumatic experience with this veterinary hospital; I should never have gone there in the first place; and they mislead, they flat out lied to me to believe they were a real emergency clinic like Mississauga Oakville; my cat had kidney failure and a low heart beat and I called them and they seemed to be the cheapest but they were in Guelph; but we would have to pay at least $2000 upfront, so I took him there when they fully knew what I really needed was a real veterinary emergency clinic; as soon as I got there but after receiving the money, they only talked about euthanasia, but our cat needed treatment and it was the dead of winter in January 2022, it was snowing hard and after midnight; it was a lot for our cat to turn around with us and drive to Mississauga-Oakville which is what we should have done and while my husband and I were sobbing uncontrollably they only wanted more money and more money and euthanasia; when we came in to visit our cat the next day we were even berated by Dr. Katie, a very low class person, and they wanted more money; that was all they cared about. We realized we had made a huge mistake in taking him there when we live in Etobicoke and Guelph is so far from us but more than anything they were an ordinary simple veterinary clinic, they were not a capable fully staffed and equipped emergency veterinary clinic. We asked them if we could please take our cat with us that we knew that we had made a mistake, if they could please bill us; the owner of the clinic Dr. Marco Mazzocco said no, that we could not have him back at all until we paid for our full bill; it was a nightmare situation they were holding him hostage, not even allowing us to see him, they even threatened the police on us, all we wanted was to undo the mistake of having taken our cat to an under qualified clinic thinking with horrible uneducated ignorant unqualified veterinarians we would be saving money, but in the end it cost us much MORE than it would have cost at the veterinary emergency clinic in Mississauga Oakville would have cost, and I know this from personal experience, and at least then we would be able to live having known we had done our best for our beloved cat. After that night when that monster Dr. Marco threatened us with the police to get off the property! our cat died there a slow painful death because even if he was dying they were not equipped to give him treatment. Dr. Linda even charged me $400.00 on top of thousands for giving him CPR. What a terrible last moment on this earth. Please people, stay away from this clinic, they are amateurs and will gladly take your money and in my case make you believe they are something they are not; They have no empathy at all, you would think we were talking about shoes or a chair, and frankly, I don’t know why they would be in the animal business because they sure have zero feelings for them. After my cat died we made payments because they charge and arm and a leg and even their business manager Ebony lacks total empathy. I have never seen ruder people in someone’s most heart wrenching moments that just want you to get out of there. All they care about is money and will con you even to get it. So bottom line, they lied to us in order to take our money because they are not a real veterinary emergency clinic, took our cat and did nothing because they were unqualified to do anything, treated us badly, and even yelled at us and threatened us with the police to get more money out of us when our beloved pet cat was taking in his last breath; please people believe me I am writing this for you to never have to go through this yourselves, whatever you do, avoid this clinic like the plague! These people are not human! I have recordings and physical evidence of this in case they try to lie and say they don’t remember me, believe me, they definitely will remember when I post my receipts and photos and videos, and I beg you do not trust them ever, go to Mississauga-Oakville, they are the only ones qualified and capable, not these people, they should be put out of business.

Expérience fantastique: We had to put our almost 16 year old Westie to sleep on Sat. night. From the phone call to Campus Estates to our arrival and putting our baby to sleep, they were very supportive, kind and empathetic, couldn’t have had better care. Thank you so much for your exceptional care. Karen H.

Expérience négative: I originally thought they took really good care of my bunny. They took her in quickly because she devolved a lump on her face x-rays done and it wasn't connected to her teeth. Just an unexpected infection. She had her teeth grinded because the vet said said needed to have that done and a small cut on the lump on her face. I cleaned it very well at home, and gave her all the medication given to me for her but she died a few days later. This place is only if you have a lot of money to spend spend spend. They will let your pet die unless you pay up front. No heart.

Expérience fantastique: Lost our beloved feather baby yesterday. The vet and the team were swift, caring, and warm. The vet was honest with us about our baby's prognosis and was very gentle with all of us when the end came. There was nothing we or they could have done to prevent the outcome, and they went above and beyond to make us feel cared for during such a terrible time.

Expérience négative: I took my pet in for an emergency check up and was told they would need a procedure that had to be booked 2 weeks out. My pet became more lethargic and was in pain for two days while waiting for the upcoming appointment so I made the decision to end their suffering. Dr. Elysha Smith lacked empathy and attempted to negotiate pricing for the procedure. Totally unprofessional and ignorance staff throughout all interactions. Please do not bring your pets here and look for a clinic that has respect and empathy for their clients and is not just in this profession for the money.

Expérience fantastique: I noticed my cat Raj straining in his litterbox in the middle of the night. In a panic I called the only clinic I knew was open on the long weekend and from the minute the phone was answered, I felt nothing less than empathy and compassion. The vet assistant, though I never caught her name but am forever thankful for, was calm, reassuring, and excelled at walking me through what would happen once myself and my cat made it to their clinic. When we arrived they immediately triaged my cat, and after less than a half hour, were able to bring him into a private room with the overnight vet where she explained the possible paths we could proceed with. Though there were multiple possibilities for his treatment, one of which involved a (understandably) high bill, Dr. Johnson patiently explained every possible path and outcome, and answered every question I had using language an emotional, sleepless, and terrified cat-parent could understand. Luckily, once my kitty was sedated he was able to pass his blockage naturally, and I could clearly see the happiness from Dr. Johnson when she came back with the good news. She genuinely cares about the animals she treats. With the help of several prescription medications and food, Raj has since returned to his chaotic, orange-self. I could not be more grateful for the team that night and the level of care they treated my cat and I with that night. As I was waiting for a cab outside the clinic afterwards, the vet assistant (who I'm sure was relieved to have finished her long shift and excited to get home) paused leaving the parking lot and ensured I had a safe and reliable way home. I have never met a group of people with so much compassion. Thank you all again. - Emily and Raj

Expérience fantastique: We had a very tragic and sad experience happen to us with our French bulldog who went into an episode requiring us to find an emergency clinic. At 4 am my husband found this hospital which took us 40 minutes to drive to. The attention from the minute of the distress call to the time we pulled up ,was compassionate and tentative. The care was immediate and the update from the doctor was precise and to the point. We were then briefed on prognosis by Dr. Mossucco who was incredibly passionate, providing us with a breakdown of what they were facing and what the outcomes could be. We unfortunately despite all their attention, lost our best friend. Somehow the comfort of knowing there was true compassion eased what was the most excruciating pain we have gone through. End to end this team made this tragic matter easier on the heart as we know they did everything they could with care and compassion.

Expérience fantastique: Jun2023: We're so glad this hospital exists! Our dear friend was having neuro signs on Sunday night so we called them and took him straight away. The staff were lovely, and Dr. Johnson was nice, if a bit brief (we're detail people). Thank you all for being there for exotic friends - they deserve the best care, too. Jun2024: We had to visit again, barely a year later, with a different rat. Dr. Smith was lovely, all the staff in last night were. The outcome was of the hardest sort, but the team was kind, caring, and gentle, which was much-needed. Thank you all, and thank you to CEAH at large, once again.

Expérience négative: Couldn’t see cat straight away so made an appt since it wasn’t an emergency but they charged us emergency fee anyway. Paid $800 for checkup and blood test. Prescribed antacids cat wouldn’t take. Waited over 2 hrs. Found out today cat needs X-ray from hwy 24 medical (excellent service with hwy 24). When campus estates put down our dog a few years ago they wanted payment up front.

Expérience fantastique: I can’t say enough good things. But in short, Dr. Ginger was caring, patient and well educated. She made me feel so much better about leaving my bunny Puffy for surgery and overnight care. All the vet techs were very kind, patient and educated. I’ve had to call a few times now to ask questions and the receptionists were willing and kind to help me. Thank you so much for treating my bunny like princess!

Expérience positive: I will start by saying the service my dog recieved after his car accident was unparalleled. He's happy and healing now. My only issue that will stand out in my memory for ever was... not being allowed to see my dog until we had paid the exam bill and the constant harassing us for money/ larger deposit while dealing with the critical care of our pet. We had no problem paying the near $8,000 bill with pleasure as our son came home but would of liked a little more respect during such a traumatic time. They left me feeling like a theif when I've paid every bill in my entire life.

Expérience fantastique: I had to make the devastating but selfless decision to put my fur baby of 17 years down. He hurt himself on a Saturday and because most vets are closed on weekends, I had a hard time getting a hold of one. From the minute my call was answered, I felt calming. The receptionist/tech on the phone was super sympathetic and knowledgeable. They were able to get me in same day. When we arrived we were placed in a very nicely decorated room with a couch and a table for my pet with a blanket for my pet to lay on. Through the entire process everyone was very supportive and sympathetic. This was the first time I have ever had to put a pet down, and given this was my first pet… it made it even harder. The vet techs and veterinary were wonderful. I highly recommend this vet office. Thank you so much Campus Estates for your support. I will never forget it. ❤️

Expérience fantastique: I cannot say more good things about Campus Estates. They took absolutely amazing care of my chinchilla Piper. She had to stay a few nights and they were very efficient at keeping us updated and even organizing visits with us! They really were above and beyond! No matter what time of day they are always willing to help.

Expérience fantastique: Campus Estates has truly been one of the only medical spaces that I feel respects their clients (both human and animal) in full. They have never failed to meet me with compassion and support in even the most high stress of situations, be it in person, through email, or over the phone. Even though they’re quite the drive from me, I don’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs help for their pets.
