Expérience négative: I will not be returning to this clinic. I was a new customer everything was going well the receptionist Brandon and the doctor Pawanjit were kind and calm. But the CLINIC MANAGER Swathi she is stubborn and rude. She was yelling and was being rude to us. She only thinks about herself and doesn’t listen to the customer. The customer service is extremely bad, especially the fact that we are a new customer. Not a good look on her and the place. This clinic is very misleading they are very vague when they explain information. We went to this clinic because of the good reviews but do not trust those reviews they are also misleading and untrue. The place is also filthy, it is not organized and it’s dirty. BEWARE this is a money hungry clinic. I do not recommend coming here but If there was a zero stars option I would DEFINITELY pick it on her(Swathi).

The vet actuallly listened to what I had to say and gave me medications for her that allow for me to work without worrying about dose timing. He was very gentle with her and extremely friendly. I will be going with Simcoe Rossland Animal Hospital from now on.

From the moment I arrived at the clinic, I was greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere. Dr. Ravi is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also a compassionate and honest veterinarian. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and provides clear explanations without pushing unnecessary services or tests, which is a breath of fresh air. His staff mirrors his professionalism and kindness. It’s reassuring to know I have a trustworthy vet for my pup’s health needs.

Just before Christmas Rusty had a benign lump removed from his back. Although the office was closed the vet called numerous times over the holidays to make sure he was comfortable and recuperating well. Expérience fantastique: It's still very early and hasnt healed yet but I feel extra confident that the lump removal was done properly this time. I had a vet that previously removed a lump from the same location on my dogs chest but clearly didnt take a large enough margin and came back within months to only to be told by the same vet to do it again or leave it. I felt completely taken advantage of and litterally torured my dog and wish I came to this location first. Not only did they clearly inform me of the procedure thoroughly and and answer my MANY questions but they took extra care to do it properly and showed me what they did even and that they didn't just drain it. They didnt keep my dog in crate over night like the last vet did for "observation" and after 6 hours or so of observation after the surgery innthe morning she was released back into my care. Very very professional and courteous, you can tell he is an expert that cares and didnt take advantage of me. I am not interested in taking my family member anywhere else, we truly appreciate what you've done for us and wouldnt recommend anyone to go anywhere else. Dr Ravi and your son truly give veterinarians a great name and others should literally take notes in my opinion. I genuinely believe you've saved my dogs life by removing this lump and all its roots. I am very impressed to say the least THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH and we look forward to hearing from you and seeing you on our road to recovery we are forever thankful

Expérience négative: I brought my 3-year-old Bully Ace to this clinic because he had a bump on his paw. We dealt primarily with Dr. Lohit. Although he presented himself as experienced, it became clear during our discussions that he was relatively new to the field. After testing, Ace was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, and we were advised that a full leg amputation was the recommended treatment. I was told by Dr. Lohit that both he and his father, Dr. Ravi, had performed many amputations and that complications were less than 1%. Based on that reassurance, I agreed to proceed with surgery on the condition that Dr. Ravi — the more experienced surgeon — would perform it. On the day of surgery, they wanted to run additional X-rays and send them for evaluation before beginning, which I agreed to. While waiting for the results, I asked if Ace could come home for those couple of hours. They said yes. While I was working, I missed their call, and when I called back, Dr. Ravi sounded extremely upset. I even hesitated to bring Ace back because of how he spoke to me, but I trusted their expertise and proceeded. A few hours later, I received a call informing me that Ace had passed away. When I arrived, I noticed Dr. Ravi was no longer in the clinic. I was told by Dr. Lohit that Ace remained stable through the surgery itself, but his vitals dropped during the stitching phase, and that Dr. Ravi had left mid-surgery to attend another procedure, leaving Dr. Lohit to finish closing on his own. I was never told that the senior surgeon would leave before the procedure was completed, and had I known, I never would have agreed. I was also charged for resuscitation attempts. This added further distress, knowing those measures were only necessary after Ace was left in the hands of a less-experienced veterinarian during a critical part of the surgery. I deeply regret bringing Ace here. Losing him this way was devastating. I never got to say a proper goodbye to Ace, and the rest of my family didn't get the chance to see him at all because they were at work during the time. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic for surgical procedures.

Our little boy cat, Jerry, recently underwent surgery for cryptorchidism, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Dr. Reddy was professional, thorough, and clearly very experienced with this specific procedure. He took the time to explain everything to us, which put our minds at ease.The entire staff was so kind and treated Jerry like one of their own. You can tell they truly care about the animals in their care. If you are looking for a veterinary team you can trust with your fur babies, look no further. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so kind, patient, and attentive, truly going above and beyond to make both Coco and our family feel comfortable. Both of my teenage daughters were especially impressed with how gentle and compassionate Dr. Busanlli was, and they haven’t stopped talking about how nice everyone was at the hospital. Expérience fantastique: I have been coming to this vet for close to a decade with my first dog and now my new pup, and they are great. I want to mention my recent experience Dr. Ravi and his team, they have been very caring towards my golden retriever Moose after his neuter procedure. As a result of their follow up care, it helped ensure he healed well with their close care and monitoring. I appreciate Dr. Ravi and Chantelle the many days let me come in for the cream application even though Moose had growling attitude lol, they were very caring! Thank you Dr. Ravi, Chantelle, Rashnica and Brandon from Moose and family!

Expérience négative: I will not be returning to this vet after one visit. We waited an entire hour before we heard them closing the office for the evening. My puppy was already in distress before they began banging the vacuum around. I tried to leave as my daughter had an extracurricular and we weren’t expecting to spend the night there, but they told me the vaccines had already been drawn. When the doctor came in there was no introduction, no warmth to my pet, no exam was done. He asked me if my puppy had any previous vaccines (info I gave the the receptionist when we arrived). He gave my dog the vaccines and we left. We saw him for 3 minutes total after waiting an entire hour.

Expérience négative: I recently visited Simcoe Rossland Animal Hospital with my newly adopted cat, only to request her previous medical history. I was not expecting or requesting an exam or a wellness check. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. It took 30 minutes for the vet to see us, while my cat was in visible distress and crying the entire time. When we were finally seen, the vet simply read back to me the same medical files I had brought in, and tried to recommend vaccines that she had already received. There was no real exam, no helpful medical history provided, and nothing of value gained from the visit. To make things worse, the front desk would not let me leave without paying for a “cat exam,” even though no exam was performed. This was an unnecessary expense I could not afford, and I left feeling frustrated and misled. On top of that, the clinic environment itself was cramped, smelled strongly of dogs, and felt more like a shelter than a professional veterinary practice. Overall, I would not recommend this hospital. If you are considering where to bring your pet, please look elsewhere.

Expérience négative: This place did such a bad job with my cat when ever we went to get his enema passed my cat would always come out bleeding and thag is not supposed to happen ever, after Kim left this place has been horrible doctor Ravi is just there to take money and doaent actually care about the pets health

Expérience négative: We WERE clients of this clinic for over 11yrs. It used to be a place we recommended to everyone and also my animals loved being at. But unfortunately without Kim there and her daughters it is now a very poorly run , inhumane and completely deplorable place. Kim was the one person who made my animals most specifically our sweet boy who passed feel love compassion and dignity in his last and final days. He loved her immensely and she returned that love ten fold. Herself and her daughters both purchased(out of their own pocket) his paw print for our youngest to have for our boy as they knew how much he meant to her Im completely disappointed that Kim was let go along with her daughters SHE is what made that clinic what it was and its clear now we will never be back and will 100% not recommend! I will however follow Kim to any clinic that is her future. If she is there so are our babies! Simcoe Rossland you lost the one woman who truly put her heart into her job. Shame on you

Expérience négative: D. Ravi is a very ignorant doctor telling me not to cry over my severely injured emotional support cat saying “it’s not good for him before he does surgery”. They don’t tell you the actual cost of what you’re paying and if you don’t have enough money for them they lie to you and tell you they can’t help you.

Expérience négative: Not clean place, the towel that I had placed my kitten on was already dirty. We had waited over 40 mins didn’t get everything we were trying to done, not professional at all. Had us hold the kitten down when giving injections even though they had many assistants available. They were over charging when my sister had already been at the clinic and recommended us to go (we had only gone as she had gotten a good deal, but they immediately turned us down when we brought it up). I would definitely not recommend this place. You’re better going to a different vet than an unprofessional one like this one.

Expérience fantastique: So just a quick update on Mr Toe, my feral cat. I took him to Simcoe -Rossland Animal Hospital. They are amazing folks there. Caring, compassionate and a sense of humour too. And if that were not enough, they are reasonable as well. They were all so nice to Mr Toe. Bottom line, he had ear infections and he is having his teeth dealt with in two weeks. He will be a whole new guy! I can say without a doubt, Dr Cheema and Simcoe-Rossland is my ‘go to’ vet place here on in. So it all worked out. And now Mr Toe has had his bad teeth removed and I cannot say enough about how informative, patient and kind everyone was to him. Dr Cheema checked in with some information and then Dr Lohit, took over to do the teeth. Dr Lohit was absolutely amazing. Not only did he dispel all of my concerns by taking the time to explain exactly what would be done, but he also showed great compassion for my little guy. Mr Toe is home now and doing fine. If you want a vet where all of the staff are amazingly friendly and supportive (I was a nervous Nelly) and a place where the vets are kind and compassionate as well as competent, this is you’re ’go to’ place as well.

Expérience fantastique: Simcoe Rossland is an ah-mazing Animal Hospital. We have two cats, they were stressed when my daughters moved to University. One of them, Astro developed Urinary Tract Infection and was in a very bad shape. We consulted Dr Ravi who immediately diagnosed that it is an emergency and a surgery needs to be performed immediately to save our Astro. Even though, it was closing time, Dr Ravi and staff stayed back to perform the surgery, they even went to a different place to fetch the medication. We will be always grateful to Dr Ravi and Staff for saving our Astro from a near death. Both our cats Astro and Haze are hale and healthy, thanks to Simcoe & Rossland Animal Hospital. Entire staff is very caring. Despite, the hospital being about 100 km away from our place, we always go there because of Dr Ravi and Staff. Thank you team!

Expérience négative: I had an appointment to have my cat get a wellness check and vaccinations for 3:00pm. I waited for over 40 minutes after they weighed my cat just for her to get the vaccination. I thought maybe they were busy but they opened the door and were shocked I was there. They had completely forgotten I was still waiting. No apology, no care from anyone. I'm sorry but I won't be returning.

Yesterday, I took my cat Fara to have a re-examination, but she was very nervous and did not cooperate, so there was no way to carry out the blood test, so she had to change the day. But the doctors and nurses there are very friendly, warm and kind, and have a good sense of responsibility. The last thing that surprised me was that they didn't charge anything because they didn't draw blood successfully. Thank you very much! I will recommend this pet hospital to my friends.

Expérience fantastique: We are blessed to have found Ravi who operated our teacup yorkie Babi. She was suffering from Pyometra and after months of going into 2 other vets, nobody was able to diagnose her but the bills kept pouring in regardless. Bruna, a lead groomer at Pet Smart recommended us to Ravi and in just a few hours, he was able to diagnose, operate and treat Babi successfully! She came home the same day and is now able to walk and enjoy life again! Thank you Ravi, Simcoe Rossland Animal Hospital and Bruna for having saved the life of our precious little baby! We are forever grateful!!

Expérience positive: Dr. Ravi and other vets in his clinic are amazing. I have 3 doggos that I take there frequently. Most of the vet assistants are great except for Kim. I was there getting medicine for comfort measures for one of my doggos, as I'm not ready to put her down. She proceeded to judge me and critique that I shouldn't give her pain meds? Arthritis is painful, and if my dog needs gabapentin, then that's my choice. Anyway, I'm not gonna get into the whole story. But she was extremely rude(to the point of yelling at me) and lacked compassion. I almost wanted to change vets, but all the other staff are amazing. So I just requested that she has no interaction with me when I'm there. Customer service and compassion were definitely lacking with her. I didn't want to rate this vet low, but if I was to rate my experience solely with this particular vet assistant, it would've been a 1.

I have been taking my three dogs there and have been very satisfied! Short notice appointments are possible (even same day) and the staff give time and attention to assess and care for my dogs.

Expérience fantastique: This clinic was absolutely fantastic helping us through the hardest part of owning a pet. Our little guy got very unexpectedly and suddenly sick. They were to see us the day we called. They did the initial exam and ran the blood work that day, staying after closing to go over the details and give our cat some immediate medicine so he could feel better. We were able to have him hospitalized right at the clinic as well the next day. When the sad ending came, they came to our house exactly when we requested to give our little guy a safe ending in his own home. Both vets had great bedside manner and ensured we understood everything going on and what they thought was best. Additionally, the vet tech Jessica went way above and beyond to make sure our cat loved while we couldn't be with him and answered any and all questions we had about the process, home care, and anything else to ensure he didn't suffer. This clinic showed the utmost deference and compassion as my husband and I were falling apart. Their scheduling was top notch, their bedside manner was top notch, their array of services were top notch, and the prices were extremely reasonable and fair. We will continue to use this vet for our other cat and any future animals we own Would highly recommend them to anyone in the area who is looking for quality and quick care for their own special little guys.

Expérience fantastique: Personally, I just switched to this vet and am happy for the change. Our initial visit was just for nail trim and vaccinations. Everything went smoothly. Staff seems personable and prices were more reasonable than our previous vet. I have other family members who also bring their fur-babies here and have gone through neutering and spaying for both dog and cat and both were happy with their services, staff and prices too.

She is a giant breed, so not many hospitals can handle her size, and those that do were booked out for quite some time. We never considered looking this far east. The vet and his staff was very kind, patient, and professional. We received a quote prior to the appointment, they told us that the prices have increased since and wanted to make sure that they honour the quote we received. From intake to pickup, and going through post-op care, I would highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone that may be looking for a vet.

Expérience fantastique: This was the best experience we have ever had at a Vet. The doctor spent an hour with us discussing our dog’s allergies. Our dog is usually very anxious at the vet and this was the first time he just laid down and relaxed. So happy we made the switch! The doctor and the staff are amazing! Prices are great and the care is like no other!!

Expérience fantastique: I have taken my dog to quite a few vets over her lifetime and Simcoe Rossland Animal Hospital has always been tops. Everyone here clearly cares about animals and treats them with the proper care and respect they deserve and we want for our pets. They also definitely are not ‘money hungry’ by any means. They cleaned my dogs teeth and since they were quite dirty and one tooth is cracked they went over the possible extractions and the costs associated with that. We agreed to everything expecting at least the cracked tooth to be extracted but when she was done they didn’t have to pull any! They said the cracked one wasn’t an issue and everything else cleaned up. Very honest and respectable since they absolutely could’ve just done it and i never would’ve questioned it. I have been to different vets that absolutely did work that wasn’t entirely necessary just because they wanted the work and it is something I am always mindful of. I would not hesitate to bring my animal here.

Expérience fantastique: When looking for a vet, my sister recommended Simcoe Rossland animal hospital. After looking around and comparing vets I took my girl into Simcoe Rossland Animal Hospital and they were amazing with my Finley! They adored her and gave her so much love and attention. I wanted to make sure my lab was all healthy so I brought her here and went to get her checked out, the girls at the front desk looked over Finleys records and said, “to avoid a vet bill today, the vet is not gonna see her can u please come back next week.” I am so thrilled to say that I will definitely be staying with this place as a Vet for my girl. ❤️

Expérience fantastique: I've been going to SRAH for 5 years (since I moved here from Toronto) and I can't say enough about them. The vets are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain conditions, treatments, etc. They encourage questions and are always happy to do that little extra if needed. I'm never made to feel like a bad dog mom or feel forced to do something for my dogs. I'm given options and it's always left up to me as to how I want my dogs handled. The staff are fantastic and so kind. My dogs don't love going to the vet, but everyone takes the time to say hi to them, give my boys a treat and try to keep them calm and happy. I've had a few urgent issues and they've always squeezed me in for an appointment - they won't say they're full and call back in a few days. Anyone knows when you're worried about your pet, you want them taken care of asap. I'm so very glad to have such an amazing team taking care of my dogs.

Expérience fantastique: Dr. Ravi and all the other fantastic staff who operate this veterinary office are professional and knowledgeable, which we have seen first-hand in the excellent care they have delivered to my family’s pets over the past decade. Both our cats and dogs over the years received the best healthcare, right up until their last days, thanks to this team. As a human health care professional, I have always felt that my beloved animals have been in the best hands with this group. The staff are some of the most kind and compassionate souls you will encounter. I used to live in the area but now I live half an hour away, however I still make the trip for my dog’s veterinary care. As long as I live in Ontario, we will be patients of Dr. Ravi. We are very grateful to have found them, and I am confident you will too.

Expérience fantastique: Great vet! Great support staff! We have 3 dogs. Our one 8 year old daschund, Rudy, is a disabled with many problems since back surgery. They take good care of him..always explaining everything. We'll continue to go there for Rudy, Rosie and Teddy!

Expérience fantastique: Our newly homed puppy, just 9 weeks old, was sick due to the chances in environment. She was having loose motion and we were super scared. After calling around 10+ vets, clinic we were lucky to have been accommodated by this hospital for an emergency visit. Dr Ravi is one the best doctors you will ever find. The staff were super friendly and they made our baby so comfortable. The treatment was very successful and now this is our go to place for any health needs for our baby.

After trying several we finally took our little dog - who was in a lot of pain - in to be put down. They carefully reviewed everything and recommended one new course of treatment. They absolutely saved our little dogs life. Wonderful caring staff and 100% recommend.

Expérience fantastique: Just brought 10wk puppy named Rosie here today for her second set of shots. She has been here before but today was my first time. The staff are absolutely amazing!! They were so kind and gentle!! The doctor who gave Rosie her shots was excellent! I will continue to bring my little Rosie here from now on. Wonderful staff!! Expérience fantastique: My wife and I have been to this clinic a handful of times after being recommended by a friend and we have had nothing but great experiences. Most recently, one of our chihuahuas experienced labour dystocia and needed an emergency c section. Dr. Ravi and his crew were wonderful and accommodating throughout the entire nerve wracking process. The staff and front desk are always knowledgeable and quite friendly and it’s easy to get a quick appointment time, and prices are very reasonable as well. We would recommend this vet clinic to anyone and everyone !! Keep up the great work team!

Expérience fantastique: Was super happy with my experience today. Took my dog in to get nurtured he was very nervous and hard to keep still during the needles and the staff worked with him to make him feel more comfortable and keep him still instead of getting upset like a previous vet I have went to. You can tell that they all love and care for animals and are very understanding if they are being difficult. The price was also very affordable.
