Dr. Amy and Dr. Cook have been so very good to our family. With our oldest dog Ms.Brandi we were given prompt referrals and the follow up from the clinic was outstanding. Expérience fantastique: When our beloved Doberman became sick I could not get an appointment for her to be seen by our regular clinic. We called around to many clinics who were unable to see us. With the dog suffering we were frantic. Moncton Animal Hospital gave us an emergency appointment and Dr Frank Cook was the kindest soul to us at a most difficult time.

Expérience négative: I arrived on the cusp of it turning 6 PM, an hour before close according to their website. Acadia called ahead to ensure their pharmacy system was accurate and, hopefully, give them the chance to fill the script before I arrived. But, instead of being willing to explain or communicate anything, one of the staff at reception (mostly bald w/ a bit of fuzz for a beard) just decreed "We're closed." Every time I tried to speak, he'd similarly proclaim "We're closed." When I finally was able to say what I needed to, he confirmed they do have the medication, that the talked to Acadia ("But that was 10 minutes ago"). But he would not or could not provide the script, "we're closed." He didn't clarify. The door was unlocked. There were two members of staff at the front desk. The posted times on the website are evidently wrong. It'd have taken nothing to say "We spoke to Acadia but our system is down. You'll have to go to Riverview," after just letting me ask my question. It would have saved us both some time and at least not made a bad situation worse.
We sincerely apologize for the oversight. Our business hours changed last month, and it appears we neglected to update the website accordingly, despite updating all other platforms. Thank you for bringing this to our attention—we are correcting it immediately.

It was such a relief to have them go above and beyond what you would expect from a business. In my opinion I think the New Brunswick Health care could take a lesson from the staff at this animal care facility. They made my grief a little easier by walking me through what options I had available to me. If you have a pet that is much more than just a pet, but a very loved part of your family, and you require care for them. The Moncton Animal Hospital, Dr. Tinoco, and the staff at this facility are the wisest choice you can make for your dear family member. Expérience fantastique: I have been taking my pets to see Dr. Cook for over 15 years now. My first dog Riley was treated so well by this clinic from the time he was six weeks old until the day we had to put him down at 14 years of age. They even sent me a card after we had to put Riley down to let me know they were thinking of me and my family. I do find they are a bit more expensive than the other clinics but this vet has been in business a long time and has seen many different conditions therefore really knows his stuff. When I got my two new puppies I didn't even consider the other vets. He is very thorough in his examinations before he treats anything. They will often times call after anything has been done to see how the dog is making out. Love the techs and office staff as well. I would recommend them to anyone a thousand times over!
Expérience fantastique: We’re not clients but we had to take our cat in and couldn’t get an appointment at our regular vet. The staff at Moncton animal hospital got us in the same day and treated us so well! Unfortunately we had to say our goodbyes to our baby that day but I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. All the staff was so kind and I’m so grateful for them. They gave us all the time we needed to spend the last moments with our boy before he crossed the rainbow bridge. They took prints of his nose and paws, and a little tuft of hair and put it in a little, tiny glass jar. I cannot explain how much that means to me to be able to see those keepsakes every day and remember him <3 Thank you all at Moncton Animal Hospital for all that you do each and every day for our pets!

Expérience fantastique: My little girl got an infection a week after her surgery. The doctor took her in immediately and told me how I could help her during the process. I had to return again the next day and the doctor gave her medicine to help the infection. They were all helpful in caring for her and instructing me on what to do to keep the area clean. The bodysuit is much more comfortable and human than the coon. She is doing better now. The doctor wants to see her in a week. This hospital has my confidence.

Expérience positive: The staff great, polite, nice, very compassionate towards me and my milo. BUT when it was time to pay the bill, wow I almost fainted. I love my babies then then my children! oops! Seriously there my life & would do anything for them. 2 trips, and needing tests and to treat his unknown infection cost me a little over $1100.00. where’s the compassionate now! Crazy but it had to be done right!

Expérience fantastique: When it was time for my best friend to cross the rainbow bridge, the team at the Moncton Animal Hospital helped me through. They were ultra professional. They didn't pass any judgment, offered me some solutions, but didn't push any agendas which could have made them more money like 3 other vets did that same day. They were kind and gentle with my dog, they were amazingly accommodating and kept the clinic open after hours to help me out. They even sent a nice card and a paw print in the mail. I can't say enough good things about them.

Expérience négative: Feel a bit blindsided with my dog being given 'optional' vaccines during his annual check up. I was not consulted beforehand about them and it was only after they were given I found out they were extra charge AND I have to bring him back and pay more (again!) in 3-4 weeks for the booster!! What I thought was going to be a $200 annual visit turned into almost $400 of 'extra' charges that were not discussed. I will be taking all my pets to a new facility where they will discuss what they are injecting into my pet(s) and have my permission to do so and not make the decision to add extra charges to my bill without my consultation.

Expérience positive: They were excellent when I took my feral mother cat Lily to get spayed although they do try to get you to pay for extras like blood work and an IV. Between my cousin and I we kept the three kittens. Out of the blue I find my kitten Annie has an enlarged heart. That cost 500 dollars for blood work and xray. 1300 dollars all together and Annie was not fixed plus medication for Annie. My cat kept throwing up the medication. I stopped giving it to her. She acts like a normal kitten. Anyway the vet's office projects costs that will run into the thousands of dollars yearly with blood work, regular appointments and specialist visits as well as other tests. I said no and they keep phoning to get me to agree to this. Five times they contact me and so on. I had to block the number. Annie acts like a normal kitten. If at some point she begins suffering I will have her euthanized humanely. Seriously though whose cat is it? They make me feel like an ogre because I won't spend thousands or tens of thousands on a cat that does not act sick on a fixed income.

Expérience négative: I went to get my cat spayed they asked me if I wanted bloodwork and the lady told me it was 50$ I agreed and signed turns out it was 200$ And they couldn’t do anything because I signed the paper. And then the receptionist tried to sell me a cone for 12$ after I asked for one like I’d give them any more money after I got ripped off.

It was our first visit but I noticed how the other animals react to being there. Every pet we saw was so excited to come through the doors that says something to me about the people working.

Expérience négative: Took my dragon there for an arm issue went in 2-3 times for this issue and was basically told nothing could b done. They weren't sure if it was an infection? Got her some oral medications and a yr later her arms still the same. I think it's dislocated or broken they didn't think so the x rays to me looked like it was and the way it feels I asked if it was could they do surgery? He said no which I was blown away since I've seen it done on a dragon. Hundreds of dollars later and 1 year later no improvement in my Sweet girl also twice now I called made the appointment once I got there called to confirm that I was there with my pet and both times had no record of me having an appointment which made zero sence I don't know who's booking appointments but fr this to happen twice is unacceptable not the help I was hoping for. My lizard is still in the same boat with one arm 3 times the size it should b :(

Expérience négative: Previously i had gotten my female bunny spayed here about a year ago and had no problems, so naturally I made another appointment this time to neuter my male bunny. I made the appointment 3 months in advance and had the appointment confirmed the day before, however when I got there they told me that they had no appointments for surgeries that day and asked me to check if I had the right place. I did, the number on the confirmation message I had received matched the number for the clinic. After that, the staff informed me that they stopped providing that 2 months prior to the day of my appointment. However if that was the case, shouldn't I have been notified about this when they stopped doing them? If they don't provide the service anymore that's fine, nothing can be done, but to add insult to injury they recommended me to another clinic that also doesn't provide that service. I will certainly not be back after this experience, I will take my business elsewhere.

Expérience négative: Extremely rude staff.... they had an empty parking lot had to run across the street for a receipt and as soon as I closed my car door the staff was out yelling at me across the parking lot... will never go to this vet ever and it's sad because I own 5 animal who will one day need a vet

Expérience fantastique: We use Moncton Animal Hospital to care for all our small animals, including our rabbits, rats, and guinea pigs. It is difficult to find vets with expertise in pets that aren't cats or dogs. Moncton Animal Hospital is the clear leader for expertise in pocket pets. Dr Cook takes the time to explain everything and give clear instructions and expectations. We are really lucky and thankful to have such a helpful vet in our area!
