Fantastic experience: Our experience with Adeline was amazing! I called in the morning telling them about my dog’s symptoms, front desk told me to drop him off anytime and they will look him over, he had an emergency issue. Adeline Vet is reasonable, amazing front desk and precise veterinarians that called me 2-3 times a day for updates on my dog’s conditions. At the end I got the bill, a price that didn’t break the bank which was such a comfort compared to what I would have paid anywhere else. They cared about my dog so much. Thank you!!

Positive experience: There trying there best ,but I have a little dog that can not miss a dose of her medicine, and when they say the doctor will call you back ,and don't, that not executable. It happen to me twice

Negative experience: Not a friendly environment for those on the spectrum! If you are on the spectrum, like me, you should take your animals to a different vet clinic where the staff are actual professionals and will treat you respectfully. I am NOT rude. I am autistic. My speech may sometimes sound blunt. I have difficulty with controlling the volume and tone of my voice at the best of times but add in the anxiety of being yelled at for no reason and I am not able to control tone, pitch, and volume. I decided a few years ago to NOT go to this vet clinic because the front counter staff were extremely rude to me and my cat. To the point that when you walk in there are signs everyplace asking people to please be kind to their staff. These signs are obviously needed because the staff is so ignorant. Other vet clinics don't have those signs because their staff know how to treat people. My sister still takes her pets there because they are cheap (you get what you pay for) and asked me to pick up a prescription that was supposed to be ready for her dog. That is how I ended up there today. When I arrived the receptionist was busy on her computer so I waited until she called me over offering to serve me. I told her who I was there for and the phone number of the account for her to look it up. Right away she got irritated that I hadn't given her 'time to get into the right screen'. I had mistakenly assumed she was ready for me when she called me over. Once she got into the right screen she told me that there was no prescription ready. I informed her that the vet had emailed my sister yesterday that it would be ready. She asked me the name of the drug and I explained that I was picking up for my sister and I would have to call her to find out but that it was supposed to be ready. BOOM! The receptionist starts screaming, and I do mean SCREAMING, at me that she doesn't like my tone. I explained to her that I am autistic and unable to control my monotone voice. I also explained that screaming at someone who is autistic (or anyone for that matter) cause anxiety, stress, and panic attacks. She stormed off into the back screaming at me the whole way and accusing me of being aggressive because of my tone. After she stormed off the other client that was there even commented that she couldn't believe how I was being treated. I left to contact my sister to find out the name of the prescription that I was there to pick up. When I went back in and told her that I had the name of the drug she screamed at me that she already knows what drug it is because she went and asked the vet and that she would get it ready. I again told her I am autistic and asked her to stop screaming at me which made her yell louder at me as she stomped off into the back again. Another employee then came out with prescription and told me that I had better watch my mouth. At no point had I sworn, made threats or said anything inappropriate. I had no contact with this employee up to this point and the first thing she says to me, after saying the dog's name, is for me to watch my mouth. I felt as if I was under attack as it was unprovoked. It is certainly not a professional way to try to diffuse a situation. It was more like she was trying to make things worse. I explained to this employee that I am autistic and cannot control my tone and volume. To which she then had the nerve to tell me that "AUTISM IS FAKE AND NOT AN EXCUSE FOR ANYTHING" I informed her that autism is a legally recognized disability in Canada and that she has no right to treat me the way she is treating me. She then yelled at me to get out. I asked if she wanted me to pay for the prescription first. She then called me a name that I couldn't quite make out as her accent was thick and she mumbled but it sounded like 'smartass'. Someone else took the payment for the prescription and I left. I have never before today had an employee someplace have the audacity to state that Autism is 'fake'!!! By the time I left I was shaking and in tears.

Positive experience: Had to put my 14 year old cat down she was suffering with an infected tumor in her was one of the hardest things I had to do the staff was very helpful and also helped set up help with payment to get through everything they went as far as to do everything just as they were closing and allowed me to stay longer to be able to say my final goodbyes would definitely recommend them to any animal lover they helped any time she got sick or needed shots and were always professional

Negative experience: Not open on weekends and was closed for 10 day holiday break which is long period for any animal that seeks medical attention by their own vet clinic. Had to take my 5 month old kitten to the Riverview Animal Hospital Emergency with his broken leg that I had casted over 4 times (3 times Adeline and 1 time else where's). 400$ each visit regardless. I did take to Riverview animal hospital on weekend, and because Its not life a threatening situation, I waited more than 4 hrs and decided to leave. Called Adeline first thing upon their return Monday morning to let them know the cast fell off for the 4th time but they are FULLY booked and recommended me to bring to Riverview once again. Not a good client service whatsoever. I also called on Jan 3rd to book an appointment with technician to do another cast for my kitten, and secretary told me the technician would give me a call me on Monday morning. Never got a call. :-( 2025-01-15 Got a call today say they will no longer take me as a client because of my critics. They even pry on my bengal groups on facebook to read comments. They saw our dog last week and did a Imagyst Cytology which came out unconclusive at 174.00 + taxes. They called to rebook the test , free of charge but today they called to cancel our appointment and will not do his follow up appointment , after the vet fee of 783.92 $. WOW ... Im blown away. Unbelievable. And last to mention, the vaccines are left out on their countertop. Vaccines should not be removed from refrigeration before vaccinating your pet. Vaccines can lose effectiveness after 30 min after refrigeration. Below: Do animal vaccines need to be refrigerated? Store vaccines in a refrigerator maintained at 35-45°F. Vaccines should not be removed from the refrigerator until just prior to use. Place a thermometer in the refrigerator and, at a minimum, record temperatures weekly to ensure that the refrigerator stays cold enough to protect the vaccines at all times. Although they have replied they do keep them refrigerated, they were NOT refrigerated when I got my cat vaccinated a few months back. Maybe they keep them refrigerated now.

Fantastic experience: I went there this morning for the first time. Service was exceptional, they were very friendly and helpful, all team members I spoke to were knowledgeable. The price was also very reasonable. I wouldn’t bring my dog anywhere else moving forward.

Negative experience: *I don't recommend this Animal hospital.* They don't know how to managing their Client. I was keep mention about my potato and Kiki need a shot but Christine didn't pay attention my email so i have keep mention what i need. She only booked Kiki not potato. And i asked why, she told me she don't have to time read whole email and answer. This is absolutely ridiculous. She is manager of animal hospital but she doesn't have time to read her client email? Because she got hundred of email? I thought this is one of your job to do. Whoever reading this, Can you send your pet for a treatment who don't have a time to care every client? Because i don't lol Also their management mocking me by email, because i email them, i lost all trust from your hospital i will find another hospital for shots. Plus management didn't apologies about this situation. I didn't do anything wrong, Christine didn't read whole client email. Why they didn't apologies to me? And why they mocking me? I don't understand them. I'm totally shock about their service, i will never recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I've been in with a few of our animals, but our newest kitten, "Stubby Bum" is the one that stands out the most. Dr Pugsley was amazing with him! We went through a nerve wracking scare with, but with Dr Pugsley's and the staff's care, he's healthy, happy and a bundle of energetic fluff. We also had to say goodbye to 2 of our cats over the past year and a half. The staff was extremely caring and compassionate and helped made the unbearable bearable. I can't say enough good things about Adeline Animal Hospital. ❤️

Negative experience: Had a rather weird experience when bringing my dog in during his last moments with me. 15 + years so I'm sure most people understand the love I have for my best friend. Everything went pretty well considering and i left his blanket with instructions to be returned when I received his ashes. Come to findout someone working there took my belongings home...without any communication amongst one another. Unbelievable ! It happened. Make sure you communicate everything before hand. They definitely dropped the ball this time around. 3/10 unprofessional

The people that work there care about each and every person and their furry kids . They are all about it take care of the best care . He was known & Loved by many. At the age of 13 years + 3 months he lived life to the fullest!!! His Facebook page is still going strong, he was the most Love Airedale all over the world! Tiny downside: when calling, the business is so slammed with customers it is common to wait on hold for 3-5 minutes. Negative experience: Booked an appt for my dog. It was an x ray as they have serious bladder issues peeing blood. They did nothing with my dog all day due a “miscommunication” which apparently can’t be explained more than that. Was kept on hold for 15 minutes to be told a miscommunication happened so you can take your dog back. Zero explanation. We had to re book for yet another week while my dog continues to have serious bladder issues and we now need to take more time off to accommodate their incompetence. Imagine a business running like this and not even apologizing for the lack of communication. Absolutely zero accountability with this business when they’re the ones who screwed up

Fantastic experience: I have been loyally bringing my pets to adeline for the last couple of years and dr pugsly is absolutely amazing. she is the most compassionate vet you will ever meet with an absolute heart of gold. the same goes for all of the staff <3

Negative experience: I had gone in to have my dogs nails trimmed some time ago. I could hear her crying and yelping from the other room. When they came out the vet tech blamed me and said that I hadn't done enough work to make sure the dog was comfortable with having her feet handled. Interestingly, she has had her nails trimmed before that and after at different places with no issues.

Fantastic experience: Great service and lovely lovely staff. The vet listened to everything I had to say about my dog. Made me feel heard and showed that she cared about helping my dog. I couldn’t believe it the next day when I even got a follow up call to make sure he was ok!! Totally recommend!!

Also the fact that they respect their staff and vice versa speaks volumes. I worked in the veterinary field for many years in the past and unfortunately didn't have such luck. *My pup had his neuter today and they treated him like gold he came out with less than be went in with but didn't seem to care lol

Fantastic experience: Excellent service with a very kind and knowledgeable vet, she understand both your needs and most of all your companion's needs to get them the help they need. They did my spay and neuter on my kittens during COVID lockdown and they were so kind and gentle even with all the restrictions. Their prices are exactly what they should be, were most vets have have raised their prices through the roof, aka most places are charging $390 for a neutor but at Adaline they charge the same price as every place did before COVID at $134. They also listen to your needs when talking to the vet herself so she can help you find the solution to help your companion and make it work for you as well, she also explains everything and while I am knowledgeable it was very nice to see that level of communication and not just get some line like "oh your companion has xxx issue and here give them xxx to treat them", they also do not push for any extra services such as blood work or other costly things, they will recommend something only if they feel it's required or as a possibility for another time if not life threatening but perhaps if your companion didn't respond to the first type of treatment to do further tests then. Fantastic care and service and the girls up front are awesome as well. This has now become my main vet after Dr Cook retired, and I have 9 cats and they mean the world to me and I would only give them the best care I possibly can and at Adeline they get it. 100% recommended to everyone. Pictures of my 2 that got the spay and neuter on the printer is Minnie and upside down getting his favorite thing in the world is Sasha. He love to lay fully down my side and stretch out like this for pets.

Everyone from the receptionists to Larissa took complete interest in our poor old Zack. You could see how much they cared by the look in their eyes. It helped make our pets final days as comfort as possible. For this we are forever thankful.

Fantastic experience: After our Daughter was fortunate enough to be able to experience her Co-op with Adeline Animal Hospital, she learned the behind the scene knowledge of how things are really done there. She spoke extremely highly of every single person from the Vets to front staff and how the Hospital functions. So highly, in fact, that after we decided to get a puppy after more than a decade without one, Adeline was the only Hospital I’d consider. I contacted Adeline long before we’d be able to take our puppy home to ensure we could be New Clients. Although not taking more patients due to a Vet being out for health reasons at that time, we were fortunate to be put on a wait list. I know everyone is busy, especially now with staff shortages and didn’t want to leave anything to chance so I called every 2 weeks to see if any openings for New Clients were yet available. The Staff were always friendly and kind, every single time I called. Patience paid off and we were able to bring our pup in for his First Wellness check up visit. Since having Adeline Vet Clinic as our Vet for one year now, they have answered my numerous questions, some in person, some on the phone with reception. I have had every single question answered (and there have been many!) no matter how simple, with a wealth of knowledge, patience, respect, kindness and the list goes on! In a industry such as this, our family and pet are so blessed to have Adeline Vet Hospital in this city! Bravo and thank you to the end of the earth for all you do for our pets and for us.

Negative experience: I called them because my cat is on antibiotics and was puking up bloody bile and they said that when a vet was available, they would call me back. They never called back and now the clinic is closed and I can't get advice from other clinics for legal reasons, which I get, because they've never seen her before. So now I have to wait until tomorrow morning when the clinic opens again and hope my cat will be ok while having to stop the antibiotics cause I don't want her to get worse.
